Hi, and thanks for the ask!! I love answering stuff about my fics, especially these sort of 'what-if' imagines, they're so much fun-

I think if Keria hadn't been there, Siwoo would have successfully given Guma his number. After that, though, Chovy would probably intercede - not by directly c-blocking his friend, but by discreetly going over to Faker and being like "hey just so you know my support is trying to get into your ADC's pants". Because Chovy almost certainly knows about Keria's crush(? relationship? situationship??) on Guma and just wants Faker to have a heads-up on the situation, so he can mediate if necessary.

That would just completely confuse Sanghyuk ("Siwoo wants to sleep with Minhyung? ...Why?") but ultimately he understands that he's supposed to clue Minseokie in to the fact that he's got competition. Which he does, albeit in the most awkward way possible ("I'm supposed to tell you that Son Siwoo is flirting with Minhyung. Do with that what you will with that.) and so Minseok goes to Minhyung and asks if he's texted Siwoo hyung yet.

Minhyung says no because he hasn't had any reason to, and Minseok asks if Minhyung is aware that Siwoo wants to fuck him. Minhyung might be a little shocked at first, but he quickly defaults to his confident persona of "of course he does~" (little hair slickback optional). I haven't fully decided whether or not Minseok would then ask if Minhyung wants to sleep with Siwoo or not - the answer is no, but whether or not Minseok feels the need to ask would fully depend on how much Siwoo was able to get into his head with their little discussion. I mention in chapter 3 that there are some seeds of doubt planted, but whether Minseok lets his hesitation show by asking Minhyung for confirmation or pretends that he's as confident as ever in their unspoken relationship (which would honestly just make that doubt fester even further), I'll leave open to your imagination for now.

(also, is this the time to drop my demisexual Minhyung headcanon? Imw aka in my world, that man fully thought he was ace until his crush on Minseok got deeper and he had a total 'woah' moment - my boy is exclusively Minseok-sexual and I will die on this hill.)

minki was born in the city of montreal to their single mother, minju myeong, and lived with her briefly. their mother struggled with addiction off and on throughout their life so their grandparents (eunji + minseok) took over custody when they were just a baby. since they were born in canada to an immigrant family, they have been learning english and french and korean since birth, basically.

minki grew up modestly, their grandparents being first-generation immigrants who owned a convenience store downtown; his grandmother ran the front counter while his grandfather filed things away on an old 00's windows desktop in the back office. they remember playing games on their nintendo in the stockrooms in attempts to pass the time faster when they were a child.

if you asked minki what the word home reminds them of, they'd say the smell of baked sweets and the comfort of being tucked in at night. their grandparents protected them well in the early years, distracting them from the inconsistency of their mother by spoiling them with affection and quality time.

school also distracted him, moon was naturally intelligent and enjoyed learning; often getting lost in the pages of his textbooks. his imagination seems to be one of his best traits, to this day, as he's always been able to escape into the universe that many media create. such as songs, movies and novels. his grandparents were definitely the ones to have a 'guardian of a gifted child' bumper sticker on their old 90's minivan.

if you asked baby minki what they wanted to be when they grew up, they would answer and say that they wanted to be a professional dancer. this love for dancing came from their grandmother as she started training them young in traditional korean dance and the piano. unfortunately, halfway through junior high, minki was in an intense car wreck that caused a spinal injury; leaving them with weakness in their legs.

the next few years? were hard for minki. the gravity of their mother's substance use disorder finally sunk in and they lost their biggest outlet - dance - to their sudden disability.

since we're in the sadder and darker bit, i want to add that they struggle with depression, anxiety and gender dysphoria. this started early on but they still struggle with this and are currently undergoing treatment to help symptoms.

his grandparents fought and pieced him back together. he owes his life to them tbh. anyways, minki began spending more time at home after his injury and grew even closer to them; taking up their hobbies of baking and photography. minseok (harabeoji) and him spent a lot of time in his office, sorting through photo albums full of familial and nature shots his grandfather had taken over the years; opening his eyes to the wonder and beauty that photography possessed. this is probably around his early high school years.

minki is nonbinary, they usually go by masculine pronouns and the neopronouns they/them.

moon went to college on a scholarship and majored in photography, minoring in graphic design. if i did the math right then it's been like a year since they graduated. i'm thinking they were hired soon after the merge so they aren't really phased by it; no beef here.

socially, i see minki as being friendly but not overly so or too energetic unless they are comfortable with the person. they can be reserved to an extent around strangers and acquaintances. moon's personality is definitely funny, obsessive, curious, anxious, considerate, picky, imaginative, stubborn, free-spirited, forgetful, empathetic, fawning, sarcastic and affectionate.

x. san was the oldest of three children in a close knit family of five in the nam district of busan, near seonam lake park.

x. he had a younger brother and sister he was always running around after, while his parents worked tirelessly at their crafts to provide a comfortable upbringing for the family. his mother was the head chef at an upscale restaurant, while his father traveled the world with a guitar and a dream.

x. his father sang folk music; that and classic jazz would often fill the household. kangsan loved sitting on his father's knee while the older im strummed his guitar. san would always try and play along on the strings, attempting to match his father's strums, but usually just throwing a wrench in the melody. his father never cared though, he'd simply let kangsan fumble with the strings.

x. san knew music was his future before he even knew what careers were. for his 7th birthday, his father gifted him a child sized guitar so that he could truly begin learning the craft. his father was a masterful guitarist and a patient teacher. whenever he was home, he spent at least some of his time in his studio instilling all he knew into his son, while san's brother and sister watched on and laughed at every missed note.

x. most of the time, however, kangsan's father wasn't home. he was a fairly successful musician, and he had the touring schedule to prove it. he'd be summoned to military bases to perform for soldiers, before being whisked away to the united states to do at least two dozen scattered shows across the country. his absences could be months long, leaving his family in disarray for large chunks of the year.

x. his mother seemed to be a miracle worker during this time. despite working full time, she always made sure the children felt loved and cared about, were fed, bathed and doing well in school. san could never figure out how she did it, but it impacted him with a level of respect he'd probably never have for any other person.

x. he started to notice that when his father came home, his parents were rather distant from one another. they didn't have the same loving rapport as before, and given that san was getting older, he knew what was coming.

x. there was something his mother said in one of their final arguments before filing for divorce that would stick with kangsan forever. "how does it feel coming home to see your children visibly taller and knowing that you missed every single centimeter?" san loved his father, and he loved music, but he decided then and there he'd be a different kind of father to his own future children.

x. it amazed san that his mother was so supportive of his pursuance of music considering everything that happened with his father. but she knew a wandering soul when she saw one, after all. she gave kangsan her blessing to forgo university for the time being to try and become a professional musician. he was extremely skilled in guitar by then, preferring the smoother and more relaxed melodies of jazz over his father's rough and tumble folk stylings.

x. it took him about two years to fall in with three other jazz musicians, all with aspirations of hitting the road with their original music. hanging out with his friends, drinking, writing songs they all loved, figuring out their unique style; these were some of the happiest years of san's life. the dawning of mipung.

x. things became even better once they found a small, independent label willing to sign them. san was never that great at promoting or being any sort of mouthpiece for the band. his strengths were found in performing live, often getting lost in the feeling and performing impromptu guitar solos while his other bandmates were getting water or chatting with fans in the front row.

x. they weren't superstars by any stretch, but they certainly found their niche following. mipung put out a total of eight albums, and the band toured consistantly; their fans nicknamed them tueoagma (tour devils). san had ceaseless fun and made great money, as well as industry connections that would serve him well.

x. it was during one of their local tours that he met kim saejeong, a bartender in gwangju whose smile reached both her eyes and his heart with little effort. the two texted back and forth for a couple of months before things went any further. it wasn't long before the pair had shirked tradition and moved in together, fully engrossed in the honeymoon stage.

x. the couple certainly wasn't trying for it, but saejeong became pregnant along the way. they were both fairly happy about the revelation, even though kangsan knew it meant it was time to hang up his guitar. he was going to keep his promises.

x. he informed the band that he'd be formally retiring to care for his son full time, not wanting a constant performing schedule to take away any precious time watching him grow up. he held no grudges against the life his father had chosen, but in his heart of hearts, he knew he wanted to walk a different path.

x. it was a pretty dramatic shift, going from being a full time musician to a full time father, but it was one that san relished in. things had fallen into place quite well, or at least san thought so. he doted on little yongtae as if he were the most precious creature in all of nature. however, he didn't count on things becoming somewhat awkward between he and saejeong. they'd gone from being partially at arm's length by his schedule to now being around each other all the time. their love for each other no longer filled the rooms of their home. it all felt strikingly familiar. they both loved yongtae, but it was obvious they were falling out of love with each other.

x. rather than keeping the charade going any longer, the two broke up for good when yongtae was a year old. it was relatively amicable and civil, with the two agreeing to share legal custody. it was the healthiest situation for all involved, but kangsan couldn't help but feel like a failure. he thought quitting music was some sort of foolproof way of keeping his family together. he'd been an idiot thinking anything was for certain.

x. still, he couldn't fall into a bout of self pity. he had a son to care for; though it was high time for him to find something to do with himself while yongtae was with his mother. he needed some sort of work to keep himself occupied. when he called up a few industry friends, he expected maybe a producing slot or perhaps even a guitar instructor position; something that was somewhere in his wheelhouse. instead, he was presented with a rather intriguing opportunity.

x. a soloist was in need of a new manager at infinite entertainment, and for whatever reason, kangsan's friend thought he'd be a great candidate for the position. san didn't expect the interview to land him the gig, as he was lacking a degree, but the company mysteriously overlooked it and hired him anyway.

x. i definitely want to explore their dynamic with minseok's mun, but i like to think minseok would have kind of become kangsan's work son 😭

x. when the tour was announced, kangsan couldn't help but be a little bit worried about missing out on time with yongtae, but to his disbelief, san's father began tagging along with him to help take care of the baby while san was working. in a weird way, everything seems to be turning out well so far. san gets to connect with his son, reconnect with his father and delve back into a life he never thought he'd live again.

hello! reader with intense ‘all my love’ universe brainrot, I’m pretty sure your work actually changed my life lowkey HAHA I explored the music that you put into it and I can now say I’m listening to more 80s’ rock/alt and the song from the title was my top Spotify song for the last few weeks! (along with the 80s’ stuff heh) I literally made a playlist dedicated to this fic and I even was able to sorta reconnect a little with my older brother over the music which.. has shaped aspects of our siblingship..? (lol) now but I can’t thank you even more, I feel like the title itself reflects the amount of care and love you yourself put into this, anyways (sorry about the rambling LOL) I just wanted to reach out with a lowkey very angsty headcanon I had LMAO basically, and maybe because it was like semi recent idk I’m terrible with time HAHA, I was wondering/exploring how wooje’s birthdays were celebrated while he was still in his no-contact era away from home. I thought that it would be a day everyone would always remember and it would be this unspoken heavy weight that intensified the almost-family’s longing for their baby, I was like maybe minseok would bake his favorite flavor of cake or whatever and just have it sit on their dining table untouched, staring at it and spacing out till minhyung brought him back, or maybe all of them would meet up and just do something as a collective that reminded them of wooje without saying anything but would kinda wait to see who would be the first to say his name out loud. at the same time wooje celebrating with jojo, the idea of jojo just failing to attempt to bake smth for wooje and somehow trying to incorporate mayonnaise into it (ew I’m sorry HAHA) always makes me smile (cause I don’t wanna dump too much angst LOL) but anyways those were just some thoughts I had circulating my head along with ones just regarding more deeply on what the almost family had experienced and felt during this distance (ofc feel free to give your input), as always I’m so thankful for your amazing writing and I’m always supporting and heavily admiring your work, take care of yourself! <3

as for the headcanon ih my GOD just stab me through the heart will you?? THATS SO ANGSTY... HELP MEEE... tho minseok in aml universe is such an interesting character because like... while wooje is no functioning/low functioning depression, minseok is definitely high functioning depression. he pretends nothings wrong but he's still falling apart on the inside. during the four years he mainly focuses on starting his business and working every day. hes a people pleaser. i think really the only person he would ever open up to would be minhyung, really. everything he does is unspoken from caring for woojes grandpa to cleaning woojes house when it became vacant. he'll do things and not talk about the reasoning or emotions behind them. he bottles stuff up until he explodes. while this headcanon is so good and sad i honestly think they wouldnt do anything in particular..? i mean, itd be a harder day for them. they miss him, so any time of year wooje would typically be in--birthdays, halloween, christmas--would be hard. rather than an outward display of their heartache i think it'd be more internal. they feel lonelier than usual, so minhyung and minseok would have each other, and hyunjoon would probably go to sanghyeok's and seongwoong's for dinner. they just cant be alone, because theres a wooje-shaped hole there. but all that being sad, four years is a long time. it gets a little easier each year. it hurts a little more each milestone. i think, when woojes gone, they do talk about him in passing, though its a tough subject at times. you know, sometimes its cheery and "i wonder how woojes doing!" and other times its.. "i wonder how hes doing." back and forth. some have healed more from it than others. i think its a partly healed scar until he arrives back home, and he sort of rips them open again (but thats sort of necessary to properly patch it back up. like they were wonky and badly fitted stitches that didnt allow for proper healing.) whew that was an accidental paragraph im so sorry.

as for jojo he is so low effort he probably buys a safeway cake and they eat it with their hands. cutie pies :> i love them

i think, fundamentally, all of them would try to reassure you somehow, like in their own way.

minseok: he would keep his hand attached to yours under the table, caressing your knuckles to make you feel less nervous. he would also ask his parents to go easy on you, as he knows how shy you can be.

junmyeon: whenever his parents aren't looking, he would lean in and whisper how well you're doing, besides giving you a kiss or two on your cheek. when you have to talk to his parents, answering questions or just being polite, junmyeon has the biggest smile on his face.

If he isn't home you have to text him at least every hour and tell him what you did

And if you misbehave in anyway he takes the privileges he gave you away.

It's not like he likes doing these things, but you gave him no other choice than showing ant teaching you that actions have consequences.

So for the sake of your own health and the health of others you stayed inside

But Chanyeøl of course is not only cold and abusive, he is quiete a softy from time to time. He will just not show you that often

But his mood can also change from one second to another, there isn't really a big reason behind it (of course you trigger it when you misbehave )

No but to be honest if he is in his "bad" mood he uses you and just leaves you behind crying and shaking, not caring about you at all

When the two of you are out in public, Minseok will be especially reluctant to let you out of his hold. He’s very conscious of you injuring yourself or someone bumping into you, so will always keep his arm around you and your bump as well.

Even the parts of it that weren’t so pleasant, he still made sure to enjoy it as a part of the journey of pregnancy. When you were feeling particularly down, he would always try and pick you up and remind you of what the end goal was for you both, never allowing his own smile to drop over the whole nine months.

Although your labour itself didn’t have too many hiccups along the way, he still hated feeling like a spectator. He’d try and reassure you the best that he could, but he had always been protective of you, and so he’d always reassure you feeling as if there was always more that he could do for you.

M ⇴ MORNING SICKNESS

The sickness took a little while for Minseok to adjust to, but once it felt as if it was almost routine for you both, then he didn’t care at all. As long as you were alright by the end of it, that was all that mattered to Minseok, even if you had created a bit of a mess, he’d be straight there to clean it all up.

N ⇴ NURSERY

In his head, Minseok had a very clear vision of what he wanted your nursery to look like, even hiring in interior designers to help him bring his vision to life and create the perfect little space for when your baby arrived.

O ⇴ OBSESSION

Minseok was obsessed with seeing you smile, he wanted to make sure that you enjoyed pregnancy as much as he did, even if there were definitely times when it was quite the challenge for you.

P ⇴ POST BIRTH

As soon as the midwives stepped away and Minseok could step back in, the protective side of him back. He was immediately fussing over you and your baby, asking whether there was anything that you wanted or anything that he could do. Even though he knew you were in safe hands, no hands were as safe as his.

Q ⇴ QUESTIONS

He was always asking how you were; it was his number one priority from start to end. You could be doing absolutely nothing and Minseok would still appear wanting to know how you were feeling or whether there was anything that you wanted from him.

R ⇴ RANDOM FACTS

Everything that Minseok had was related somehow to your baby, whether that be his lock screen, or the items that he had in the back of his car. He had the photo of your scan printed on just about everything that he could, although he was already preparing to replace it all again once your baby arrived too.

S ⇴ SCANS

Minseok couldn’t get enough of your scan photos, he was always looking at them whenever he had a minute to himself. He always made sure to keep one on him so that he could look at it, whilst also being able to show it off to anyone that asked about your pregnancy or wanted to see your baby.

T ⇴ TEST

It took Minseok a few days to really let it sink in that your test was positive. He’d continually look at it when he was in the bathroom, struggling to believe that it really was positive and that you really were pregnant.

U ⇴ ULTRASOUND

He always made sure to organise his schedule so that it fitted around your appointments because nothing was more important to him than being there for them.

V ⇴ VISITS

Minseok left things a few days before allowing any visitors round to your house. He wanted to give, and more importantly your baby, the time that you needed to adjust before the house got loud and full again.

W ⇴ WAITING

There were certainly times when Minseok would get excited and impatient, especially when your baby was particularly restless and giving you plenty of signs.

X ⇴ XXXX

Minseok tends to hug you more, especially with your baby bump, but that certainly won’t stop him trying to steal plenty of kisses from you too, especially when he can tell that you could do with a bit of cheering up.

You were everything to Minseok, no words would ever truly be able to describe it.

Z ⇴ ZZZ

Minseok practically gave up the whole bed in order to give you the space that you needed to be comfortable, not that he minded. The only thing that he was worried about was making sure you could get as much rest as possible.
