Huntrix HCs Kpop Demon Hunters

Rumi

Genuine workaholic to the point where she has to constantly be doing something productive

Has stayed up for days at a time, often needing to take melatonin pills in order to sleep properly

Rumi, Zoey and Bobby will now constantly make sure she’s actually in bed resting, sometimes having ‘sleepovers’ in one room to do so

Loves having a sense of control over everything, causing her to schedule out the entire day for her and the other members down to the smallest detail

Extremely guarded around others, in a way where most people don’t notice cause she’s always so nice

Is more open with sharing her true self and feelings with the other members, especially since they’ve been together for so long

Took a while to warm up to Bobby, even after him being their manager and even distanced herself from him because he wasn’t a Hunter

Loves him now though, and spends a lot of time with him when it comes to handling more of the business side of things

Will often involve herself in meetings so she knows the direction things are going in and to protect the creative vision her and the other members have made

Also does it so she knows the fans are being taken care of as well, such as making sure they aren’t getting ripped off with any ticket or merch pricing

Definitely has security objects that carry emotional sentiment

Such as a stuffed animal from her childhood, pieces of jewellery from her mother, a spiked bracelet Mira made for her birthday, a note from Zoey during their debut days, Jinu’s bracelet-

Bobby is the only one who knows about all of these items, making sure each one is accounted for when they move on tour

Extremely good at hair care and takes it very seriously

She has dedicated self-care days for it, which she bonds with Mira over

Also very good at makeup, since she had to cover her markings for so long and got self conscious of them showing while she was growing up

If it’s not for a performance or interview, she prefers to wear more simplistic and/or comfy clothing

Genuinely does have voice problems sometimes since she overworks himself, but will often think this is because of her demon blood and stresses out about losing her voice sometimes

Mira

Loves trying new and eccentric styles, handling a lot of the aesthetics when it comes to performances, award shows, interviews etc

Choreographs basically all of the dances, and loves working with other people in that industry so she can get new inspiration

Teaches on the side, especially to up and coming idols who also want to work in the industry

Has developed some bone problems from trying too many complicated moves, which is why she takes her relaxing periods very seriously

Also because she just loves to chill out with the other group members and not be productive for once

The ambassador to a lot of high luxury brands, and has gotten a lot of items designed for her (i.e: a signature perfume, outfit, lipstick etc)

Definitely gets the group the most collabs due to her connections, whether that be for dancing or marketing deals

Fangirls with Zoey over a few specific celebrities or other idols, especially if they get to collab with them at some point

Hypes up the fans’ most insane behaviours, like when she comments on posts supporting a Huntrix tattoo or when they name their kids after the members

This is because she’s done some crazy things when she was younger, including graffiti, shoplifting, getting into fights etc

She did this as a way of acting out because she always felt like the black sheep of her family, with most of them scolding or just flat out ignoring her when she did anything they thought was too ‘different’

This caused her to overthink a lot when she was younger, making communication extremely important to her

Has one younger sibling she keeps in touch with, making sure they’re keeping up with school and making friends

Other than that, she doesn’t really talk to anyone else in her family since they still don’t respect her

Definitely had to take anger management classes since she didn’t know how to handle her emotions, but now she channels this energy into her more creative talents

Handmakes a lot of the group’s outfits and accessories

Does a lot of arts and crafts with Zoey because of it

Extremely protective and possessive over her friends, to the point she considers them family

Zoey

The creative side of her brain is always turned on, causing her to daydream a lot and randomly get new ideas for songs

Prefers to handwrite, so she always has a notebook on her with random lyrics and drafts

Takes pictures all the time, and has a bunch of different types of camera in her room and is always trying out new techniques

Has randomly set up a dark room in whatever suite the group is in while on tour multiple times

She has stacks of scrapbooks in her room because of this, filled with memories and photographs from whenever they’re on tour and with the fans

Doesn’t have a specific music taste and will genuinely listen to whatever, always having an airpod in at least one of her ears

The others think she might be partially deaf because of it though since she won’t respond a lot of the time when they call her name

Has introduced so many new artists and genres to the group members, causing their discography to have a variety of styles

Responsible for a lot of the celebrity features the group gets, since she loves talking with other artist about their creative process so she can get new inpiration

Most interactive with the fans during the concerts, to the point where Bobby is always on edge when she goes on stage

Has jumped into the crowd before and just disappeared, only showing up at the suite near the end with a bunch of fans she befriended

Travels the most out of everyone in the group so she can go back home to Burbank

Introduces the other members to more American things, and enjoys the culture shock they get

The group was genuinely impressed when they saw how good she was at skateboarding, and definitely implemented it into their performance at least once

She learnt how from the other kids in her neighbourhood, since she grew up in a very tight knit community and considered all of them family

However this caused her to feel like she constantly had to prove herself in such a large group, making her to be a bit too much of a people pleaser and overly trusting

Does have difficulty standing up for herself, but will get furious the moment any of her loved ones are being messed with

Runs the social media account for Huntrix and keep the other girls on top of trends

Has gained a lot of influencer connections that way, and has multiple accounts for her artworks, photography and behind-the-scenes tour videos

Also posts a lot about the random side quests she does, often dragging the other members into it

Keeps in touch with the most international fans out of everyone in the group, taking advantage of the fact she’s bilingual

Has an insecurity of her English or Korean not being good enough, and not fitting in with either side

The most brain rotted out of everyone in the group, with only Bobby being able to match her energy

New HC dropping for yall:

Lucy and Juvia both grew up wealthy. Aka they went through the studies of ladies. This means both of them speak fluent noble lady language (back in the day it was French or Latin or literally whatever language this is fantasy pick your fav!). Levy has been reading books and learning languages through that. A lot of literature was written in this noble lady language for their studies so she learned the language too.

They have a shit talking club where they can freely complain about their men all they want in this “secret” language. The whole guild is under the impression that they made this language up and have formed a secret club.

It pisses off Natsu, Gray, and Gajeel so much and they complain to Mira who just giggles (they’ve been teaching Mira of course some of the basics so she can gossip with them). Natsu of course wants in on the secret club. Gray just wants to know what is said about him because he can HEAR his name being said. And Gajeel knows if it’s anything juicy Levy would tell him unless it’s said in the secret language and so he can’t gossip with her later and it annoys him.

Then one day the thunder league shows up and Freed hears Lucy complaining about Natsu destroying something so he just pops over and starts chatting not even realizing that it’s in this other language and everyone’s like “WHAT ITS NOT A SECRET LANGUAGE THEY MADE UP?!”

Cue “book club” starting up that is just them complaint (and reading smut) where no one can bother them.

Freed has sworn himself to secrecy to not share what language they’re talking in because he loves book club too much.

So I've been thinking way too hard about the ISAT role!swap aus by @anxiousapplepie (hi! hope you don't mind the tag :]), especially the Housemaiden!Siffrin AU, and I was planning to draw fanart with my ideas but my university assignments have been looming over me *head in hands*. So in the mean time here's all my thoughts rambled out onto paper so maybe they'll stop haunting me while I'm trying to do work.

Starting with some HCs:

• Having depression is an inherently Siffrin trait, the different Sifs just deal with it differently. HM!Sif was able to get access to antidepressants due to being in the House of Dormont, but wasn't able to take them with him when he had to flee from the King's curse. So like OG!Mira, they had to go through their journey unmedicated. Isabeu and Odile's ractions to finding this out was something like

• All Miras are medicated for their anxiety, and most of them were able to have access to their meds throughout their journeys (OG!Mira and T!Mira I'm so sorry but you had to do it scared). F!Mira made double sure she brought her's knowing HM!Siffrin didn't have their's.

• Once T!Bonnie started warming up to and trusting the party, they'd hide behind the others' legs when they didn't want to be seen. Hiding behind Siffrin had the added bonus of being able to hide under his cape.

• When T!Bonnie has had a particularly rough night, they'll go sleep next to Siffrin because they know Sif WILL end up cuddling them in his sleep and it makes them feel safe. <- I imagine a lot of their sibling relationship was built on Bonnie going to Sif and just silently clinging and Sif just letting them and not forcing them to talk.

• C!Odile is the best fusion cook ever. This woman can take any two cuisines and mix them together flawlessly. Even things that arguably should never go together.

Ok now for a character ramble under the cut because Housemaiden!Siffrin is that one character I want to put under the microscope like a beetle. Argh. The angst of being the Universe's walking talking religious contradiction...

There's so much potential for HM!Siffrin's inner struggle with the Change belief. For one thing he doesn't really get to choose how he Changes much, he doesn't really have control over it. You can't decide how you'll be a different person if you have no idea who you originally were. Yet the Change belief has this whole thing about choosing to Change yourself and choosing to leave your past self behind. Can you imagine being Siffrin and being told you have to decide to be a completely different person when the only info you have about yourself are the clothes on your back, your accent and a love for malanga fritters? Meanwhile everyone else can choose to Change however they like because they know who they are and how they can be different, and they get to choose to get rid of the mementos of their past because they still ultimately have the memories if they ever want to go back for whatever reason.

And the fact Sif can't really choose to Change kinda shows in the ways he does decide to change because they're all physical changes. They recut their cloak into a cape, they dyed their hair and then let it regrow, they trade weapons or headgear with Mira. Those are all things that he can actually control, and thus can actually make choices about.

Which also makes me think about how he got the "worst/laziest Housemaiden ever" title. It probably felt to any outside perspective who knew the Change belief that Siffrin wasn't putting in any effort to Change and was instead skirting around the rules by just physically changing. So people started to say he's lazy and not following the belief right, and because Siffrin didn't have an identity he internalised being the Worst Housemaiden Ever as his identity and kind of stopped trying because why bother? Which SUCKS because can you imagine losing literally everything about your home/culture/language/family and then trying to make a new home and identity with another community only to be told by that community "hey you're terrible at this actually"? That's awful. Siffrin can probably never really feel truly, confidently part of the Change belief because they were alienated from it from the start.

And then to finally top it all off when Euphrasie chose him to save Vaugarde it's likely no one believed that Sif was the saviour because he's known across the Houses as the Worst Housemaiden Ever, why would the Head Housemaiden of Dormont choose him?!? Which probably only cranked up Sif's self-esteem issues because they'd also think Euphrasie could've picked better.

So yeah *head in hands* Housemaiden!Siffrin feels like a character locked in a constant feedback loop of "can't be part of the community despite their efforts because the system is inherently flawed for them" and "doesn't bother trying so the community disregards them".

a bunch of random miromabby headcanons off the top of my head because i cannot stop thinking abt them

- it was originally a joke. Key word was.

- the guys fell first, obviously

- then they immediately concocted a ‘genius’ plan to win her over, which involved essentially what we saw at the signing but with more actual attempts to get her to talk to them

- they’re all over her, all the time, and she’s desperately trying to convince herself she hates it

- At this point in their relationship, when she found herself thinking about them at home for the first time, she immediately buries her head in a pillow and screams so loud she has a sore throat the next day

- they’re very slowly pushing their way into her life and making her like them, as much as she *does not want to* she can’t help it

- they’re ‘pushy’, but she notes they might not be as bad as she thought when one day she’s in a piss poor mood and fully snaps at them, demanding they get off and leave her alone because she was stressed and tired and needed to finish what she was doing. And they actually do?

- they come back with ramyeon and a smoothie for her and she actually lets them sit back down. as long as they shut the fuck up.

- They do. They’re quiet, doing their own thing in her vicinity. they’re happy to parallel play if she’s in the same room, and for the first time she considers the fact that they might actually be doing things like clinging to her constantly not just because they wanted but also because they think she’d like it too

- Sometimes she forgets they’re demons with centuries separating them from the last time they got to experience real human emotions and socialization (this is another hc we don’t know how old they actually are besides Jinu)

- She makes an effort to remind herself, not because it makes her wanna be any less harsh but because it does recontextualize their behaviour a bit. it makes her just a little more fond of them, a bit more aware of the fact that they could actually be thoughtful and considerate

- the longer she thinks about it the more she realizes that beneath the annoyance and the fear of the unknown and the demon markings, yeah. She did like it, just a bit

- even lets Romance put his arm around the back of her chair and lean his head on her shoulder that day, and it doesn’t immediately make her so annoyed she wants to strangle him

- Abby is a textbook himbo, Romance is book smart and *thats it*. Mira is smarter than both of them combined when she’s asleep.

- once they’re actually together, Mira is no less annoyed with them than she was when she first met them. they still know just how to push her buttons and they like pissing her off just a little bit

- but now she has a weapon, which is ‘threatening to break up with pink idiot #1 and #2 every time they start getting particularily obnoxious (aka every two days)

- they ‘cry’ every time. she enjoys their crocodile tears (and real ones too tbh) , they enjoy her amusement. at this point it’s like a game

- Romance and Abby will make out on the couch in front of Mira if they feel ignored.

- they feel ignored whenever she doesn’t look in their direction for any longer than ten minutes

- it’s about a 60:40 that she joins in vs walks out of the room

- most of the time they *will* pout and follow her if she leaves. but sometimes they’re in their own world and she finally gets some damn peace in this house.

- she always puts in her headphones in when the boys are doing their thing because once she’s walked out of the room, she refuses to join in no matter how much she hears that makes her want to. it’s a pride thing. she will be grumpy about it though

- Abby is a morning person, Mira and Romance are *not*. He convinces them to go to the gym in the morning with him a whole one time

-ends up having to carry them both back into the apartment because Romance is out like a light and Mira simply refuses to walk after being dragged out to exercise before the sun was up

- Abby cooks, Mira is good at it but she avoids it at all costs, Romance could burn a pot of boiling water

- Romance is like a dog with separation anxiety he needs to see and touch Mira at least once an hour or he *will* have a bad day

- Abby is more content with loading himself up with physical affection before they have to part ways. On more than one occasion she basically has to fight her way out of a hug just so she can do what she needs to do

- she will not admit that she likes this but. its not hard to tell

- She’s always in the middle when they cuddle, but it barely matters in terms of physical contact. the three of them may as well be laying on top of each other with how close they sleep

- it’s more so because the two of them will argue over who gets to cuddle her otherwise.

- Abby and Romance are also dating to be clear. Their fighting over Mira is lighthearted, and mostly because they like seeing how smug she gets

- Her ego grew three sizes that day they started dating. Rightfully so. Those boys also pump it up at any given opportunity

- they’re all easy blushers, all of em. Romance has his constant one going on but if he’s with Abby and Mira it gets twice as dark.

- that little necklace around Romance’s neck was originally just an empty accessory. After they get together he figures out how to put pictures in it and now it’s got a photo of the three of them inside

- Mira makes fun of him when she finds out but it’s very clear she kinda loves it. she won’t stop fidgeting with the chain any chance she gets after that point

- they end up getting matching ones for their first major anniversary Mira’s is pink and Abby’s is yellow

Miscellaneous Childhood Mira doodles with Euphrasie + HCs of what her parents looked like (this isn’t canon this is just my take on it based on what little information adrienne gives and also the game itself gives on what Mirabelle was like precanon etc. Drawing of my hcs of Mirabelle parents designs as well as an insanely long character study/ theorizing on Mirabelle was like pre canon is under the cut:

“Ocean why do you assume she might not be on the best of terms / isn’t close with her biological parents” it’s like a combination of things tbh? Mirabelle mentions repeatedly how much the people of the House of Change, especially Euphrasie has done so much in helping her learn and grow into the person she is today. Throughout the game she talks about how much she cares about/ misses different people in the game and how they are all important to her. You’ve got the head Housemaiden Euphrasie, who did everything in her power to protect her at the cost of herself, was mirabelle’s mentor and even gave Mirabelle blessing of being immune to the King’s Time freezing powers. You’ve got Claude, Mirabelle’s roommate that she cares about despite sometimes getting on her nerves ( she knows how dedicated Claude is to helping others and stopping the king etc), her other fellow housemaidens, the people she knows in dormont and of course all her companions that chose to help her on the journey to stop the king in the first place (Isabeau Bonnie Odile and Siffrin) she loves very much. Initially before getting any information from the in character QnA or Twitter or the QnA on Reddit, I had assumed that her biological parents were dead or that she never met them or had them to begin with but it’s not the case here.

Mirabelle talks about that when she first arrived at the house / prior to getting there she didn’t know how to do a lot of things basic skills. Siffrin also mentioned that the journey itself really changed her since he first met ( because initially she was a lot more shy but now she’s more confident in herself as of canon events in the game). Mirabelle said that she was taught by Euphrasie and the other house maidens. It’s giving the vibes of someone who arrived at the house ( whether by personal conviction to run away and find people who will understand her / that she can hope to understand and connect to) or her parents dropped her off there because it would be easier for them to do at a young age.

M: {The Head Housemaiden...She's such a wonderful person." "She helped me out so much! I couldn't do anything before I came to the House, I could barely sew my own clothes, and she helped me, she taught me..." "I wouldn't be the person I am without her!"}

Despite all of this she doesn’t talk about her biological family at all not even in passing despite the whole “ everyone and everything as we know it in the country could be frozen in time for good if things don’t go well” ( which is noticeable in comparison to how easily she can talk about how much other people in her life has cared for her and how much she wants to save them all from the kings destruction). In a in character QnA session when the subject of families / parents was brought up she has a very stilted and awkward response. The tone she’s answering it in feels like she’s hesitating or at the very least isn’t a 100% sure on how she feels about her parents ( and in truth probably hasn’t or didn’t want to think about them). We see the kind of way Mirabelle talks when it’s about people she loves in game before! It’s passionate and confident and full of love/ conviction that she cares for them! So seeing that in comparison to this is well..this isn’t having that energy truth be told. (Screenshot for those that don’t use Twitter)

Also Adrienne a while back posted official character playlists for each of the characters on Spotify to give insight to everyone on what the characters vibes were like and the song choices were very striking to me. The song choice for Mirabelle in particular that made me go !!!! was seeing Elle me dit by MIKA . For those who are unaware of the song and what it’s about, it’s essentially a song about a mother telling her kid all her high expectations of him and how she’s disappointed in the way he’s living his life.

Given how Adrienne stated that mirabelles parents don’t understand her and she in turn doesn’t get them either, I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s heard similar sentiments growing up / had that sort of pressure to Change or behave in a certain way. ( Even with her dedication the Change belief making her happy Mirabelle still will lament about how she’s afraid that she’s not doing enough as a house maiden or that her identity of being aroace somehow would upset others/ makes her feel alienated in comparison to how everyone else can change easily. ) This combined with the fact she canonically has anxiety and has moments where she isn’t very confident in herself is.. deeply worrying! Yes I’m aware that people can just have those types of thoughts even in a good supportive environment/ experiences but the combination of all those factors isn’t exactly aspiring confidence.

Anyway that’s my ramble I hope you all enjoyed my analysis/ headcanons yipeee ^_^

ISAT color headcanons? Yeah I got them!! Have quite a bit of thoughts about them actually. Though they do contain spoilers so if you want to hear them then they'll be under the cut. :)

It is very very important to me that Sif's palette stands out from the rest of the party. And so, in my hc, that manifests as all of the party sans Siffrin having warm color cohesion, while Sif is (almost) alone with cold colors. I chose purple for him (possibly because subconscious ace impulses and also the space connection) but he could also have blue.

Mira is pink because I personally cannot see anything else for her. But I really like the idea that she'd have yellow/orange somewhere too to tie back to mirabelle plums.

I've seen a few people use yellow for Bonnie which I agree with! It's a young, happy, energetic, color!

Isabeau is probably the one I have the least thoughts for color-wise but, yeah I do think he has brown hair. I do also like orange being his color (maybe because he reminds me a bit of Peeta Mellark). I was trying to stay as value accurate to the og sprites as possible so that's why Isabeau is so monochrome, but I do think he'd be a colorful lad.

Odile's shirt (for whatever reason) has always had very very strong red vibes for me (probably because it reminds me of chinese cheongsam), which I do like for her! It's a very strong and commanding color, which she can definitely be when the situation calls for it. Her cardigan was probably the hardest thing for me to figure out because I knew I wanted the shoulder pads to have a cold color, and for the rest of it to be warm so that she didn't get oversaturated with the cold color (Just a touch of cold! Only a touch! It's important!). The beige felt very cardigan-esque and although it isn't a perfect fit with the blue/violet, I think it WORKS because a little bit of color discoordination in her design is FUN and CUTE and can be telling of her character!! :)) Characterization through design my beloved!

NOW ONTO THE COLD COLORS.

THEY ARE IMPORTANT because it visually symbolizes the difference between Sif and the rest of the party in regards to their backgrounds. Everyone has Vaugarde that they can relate to each other with. Except for Sif. Sif is other. Odile is also other, which is why she has a touch of blue, but she also has Vaugarde and Ka Bue. She has homes to come back to. Sif talks quite a few times in the game about how everyone realizes they're not from around here. In universe that can be explained by like physical attributes. Accent. Mannerisms possibly. But if this was like a tv-series, the audience, who are just getting acquainted with the world and know nothing about it's norms, wouldn't pick up on any of that. And that's why the visual short hand of "similar colors" and "opposing colors" is really important to me in this instance. It's another layer to add to these characters and try to communicate something about them! tldr; Everyone has warm colors to set them apart from Siffrin who has cold colors, showcasing how they are fundamentally different when it comes to their backgrounds.

Let's talk dragonslayers! 🔥

I love the thought that the dragon slayers are more or less baby / little dragons themselves. Sometimes they have to curb their instincts when they don't exactly fit into human culture.

For instance:

Gajeel hides it behind his gruff demeanor but he is fond of shiny things (like the studs on his face, or the way coins shine in the sunlight). Levy, his greatest treasure, is often seen wearing new bracelets or necklaces--sometimes forged by the iron dragonslayer himself.

Natsu is known to "accidentally" swipe keepsakes from missions with Lucy. It always starts innocent enough; something shiny will catch his eye, or an odd trinket will put his head on a swivel before Lucy is calling for him to catch up. Next thing he knows, he's emptying his pant pockets and finding lots of shiny or odd things. Lucy makes him return them sometimes if the price tag is still attatched.

Wendy is far from materialistic but loves necklaces and earrings. She is especially fond of Erza's jewelry and often daydreams of having a collection like hers. She wants her magical girl transformation moment, too! (And she gets it! As she deserves!)

Other dragonslayer HCs would be...

Natsu loves sunbathing. A nice rock and a hot summer day is his ideal way of relaxing--as rare as those moods strike him. Lucy is especially jealous that he cannot sunburn, which she discovers after she joins him and they both doze off. She had gone through... a LOT of Aloe Vera that night.

Natsu loves spicy snacks. Wendy and Lucy tried some once on a dare and learned that a fire dragon's threshold for spice is much, much higher than theirs.

Speaking of food, Natsu burns a lot of calories... LITERALLY. 🔥 Hence his insatiable appetite.

The dragonslayers love to dogpile. Wendy and Natsu do it the most often. Gajeel joins when they happen to be in close quarters on missions together, which is rare. Lucy, Happy, and Pantherlily often join in but Carla is adamant that she will not be participating with anything that has "dog" in its name.

The dragonslayers communicate with odd vocalizations that others don't always hear. Sometimes they sound like birds whistling through the guildhall; othertimes like rumbling tigers or snorting horses as they chuff and laugh. They whimper and whine. They growl and snarl. They roar together like monstrous wolves in the height of communal emotion.

They teethe. A lot. Natsu is often seen gnawing on rib bones that Mira saves for him. Gajeel has his iron, and, in the privacy of her dorm, Wendy chews on roots Porlyusica has provided her that tastes strangely minty.

Daniel looks up from his seat at you as you enter the room, everyone already murmuring about the gorgeous new girl.

He gets up to introduce himself to you and ask for your name, not paying any mind to all the positive attention you're already getting.

He knows firsthand how daunting it is to start at a new school and has had extensive personal experience feeling ostracized in his life. So he wants to make sure others don't have to go through the same thing if he has any say in it, and regardless of what you look like (although he of course notices how pretty and ethereal you look, too.)

Zack Lee

Zack would wake up from his desk nap from being blinded by a bright ass light flooding into the classroom as you walk in. Squinting and grumbling with dried drool on the corner of his mouth.

He would stare at you and your beauty in awe for a quick second, then-

"Wait. You're not Mira, the fuck."

Then he'd go back to sleep.

Vasco

"There's a new girl? In the Architecture Department?!" The Burn Knuckles members jump off of each other, quitting their horseplay to hover near the doorway in anticipation.

The moment you walk in, gasps and oohs and ahs can be heard from the guys. Your long hair flowing down your shoulders in the most perfect way and you dazzling the room with your pretty smile without even trying.

A single, fat tear rolls down Vasco's cheek.

"V-Vasco! Why are you crying, you haven't even tried talking to her yet!" Jace attempts to comfort his friend in vain.

Vin Jin

Vin rubs his hands together, smirking and plotting what he's going to say to you to charm your pants off. The usual should be fine-

"Don't even think about it." Mary says without looking up from her phone.

"What the fuck are you on abou-"

"Leave the poor girl alone, you fucking dimwit." Mary pulls Vin by the ear and leads him down the hallway away from you, ignoring his curses and whining.

She lets go, throwing him as he staggers further down the hall in the opposite direction.

Vin turns his head to look around, completely disoriented by being suddenly thrown into this dimmer, different section of the hallway. He squints through his sunglasses and reaches out, fumbling around with empty air.

"Mary?! Dammit, where are you?" He calls out helplessly.

tends to a village nearby the family's house that she has expanded tenfold from its original starting point

cares deeply for all of the villagers and has used a name tag on each and every one of them. they all have their own personalities and stories

brews potions on demand, so long as you bring her the ingredients

likes to play on easy mode when on the server by her lonesome in order to collect resources

will not step foot into the nether. not even for the pretty light wood (even if she really really wants the pretty light wood)

tool order: wand -> rapier -> crafted crook. the wand is essentially a long ranged weapon that can both attack and heal, but is mostly used for the latter. the rapier was specifically modded in for her. the crook is a multipurpose tool, combining shovel, axe and pick into one tool

isa

built a big barn

is constantly talking about, working on, and admiring his big barn

is the guy to come to if you need any sort of animal produce or need to borrow a horse. owns at least three of any type of animal at all times

will get on with mira to help defeat mobs to make things go by faster

in charge of armor, tools and upgrades. spends a lot less time on any of that and a lot more time on making fun clothes, though

built a little storefront to pretend to sell his clothes from in mira's village. does often actually change the villager's outfits for funsies

tool order: gauntlets -> axe -> pick -> shovel. when wearing the gauntlets they will cover both hands of his model and do damage comparable to an iron sword twice (once with each hand) before a short cooldown

odile

couldnt really get into it before adding mods. now has the most playtime. even if you totaled everyone elses playtimes, odile would just barely eek out over it (if you took out siffrins, who's the closest to rivaling her, it wouldnt even be a competition)

the minecraft wikierrrrrrrrr. keeps that shit on tap even though she has memorized many of the recipes

always striving to make a project bigger than the last

redstone queen

regularly visits the nether to trade with piglins. one of the mods has them rebuild their structures if they notice the gold has gone missing. she pilfers it again every visit without fail

tool order: sword -> pick -> shovel. doesnt harvest wood so deems it unnecessary to carry an axe

bonnie

has an obscenely large, unautomated farm. they will spend entire days afking near the farm just so it grows. more often than not when theyre afk during one of these sessions, theyre off making real snacks for everyone

didnt understand and therefore didnt care about redstone until odile taught them. the day after, everyone logged on to the Laggiest Server Ever. when they went to investigate, bonnie showed off their extremely over complicated redstone contraption that did nothing more than activate a charge. nobody had the heart to tell them it was the cause of the lag spikes, so they suffered through it for like a week after until bonnie came to the realization themself and tore it down

completely and utterly dedicated to making a redstone rollercoaster of some sort. at some point. definitely. its 100% on the to do list, bet

teleports to everyone randomly to deliver meals. some good indicators youre about to get a visit from the Snacks God is 1) you mentioned the fact you have no food on you, 2) theyre talking about one of their recent harvests, and 3) "hey are u somewhere scary rn"

unable to die due to isa making them an accessory called the eternal necklace of undying. so long as you have it on in the charm slot, youre completely unkillable. bonnie was Extremely happy about this, as it meant they could finally leave creative and would stop accidentally breaking things left and right. it took many weeks of work to craft, and as thanks, bonnie made him his favorite meal in real life three days in a row

tool order: hoe -> shovel -> axe. does not carry weapons

loop

keeps offering to make a mob spawner for ease of access to mob resources and exp. nobody want them to because spawners are big and ugly but loop is adamant about the fact they can make it pretty (they end up making one very far away from the house once. they were not able to make it pretty.)

loves the bow and arrow but hates the crossbow. does not carry any weaponry outside of that

has an area they call Loop's Paradise! the only thing located there is a lone interactable beach chair near the beginning of a large ocean, a single redstone lamp that powers on when the sun sets and a jukebox. when asked what makes this a paradise they simply say its peaceful (they are blasting Cure for ADHD - 30 min of Breakcore from the jukebox)

tool order: bow -> pick -> axe. chooses to break dirt and the like with their hand or some other thing on their person

siffrin

has given everyone a flower that he thinks resembles them and a pot to put it in

survives mainly on fish, but makes sure to focus on the meals bonnie gives him first and foremost

doesnt like playing off of peaceful if he has the choice

has tamed an obscene amount of wolves. leaves the majority of them in isa's care and exactly one in loop's. they all have names. loop's dog is named starbit

More sif from In Galaxies And Eons, he gets a bit worn-out whenever he loops.

My hc is he is affected by the craft exhaustion way more than normal sif, by way more I mean while in the loops, and that's because it's not just local to Vaugarde and is instead just reversing time completely! But his body does still feel the effects of it harshly, as each time he dies the scar on his cheek and the black bits of his hair, hat, and the inside of his clothes gains another star. All the black bits slowly turn a dark blue! Just cuz I wanna and I love blue.

If anyone is wondering, the scar on his cheek he got from loop, this loop spent way longer in the time loops than the original loop (around 10k I think?) And doesn't really talk to siffrin because of this. Loop attacked sif because he wanted to replace him and get back his actors.

From everyone else's perspective, they were a few days before they got to dormant and were taking a break when they heard sif scream, they rushed over and saw him almost dead being attacked by a "sadness" that somehow could talk? They hear it say something about ripping his skin off and replacing him, at which point they were able to save sif. Frightening loop, causing them to run away. Isa and odile noticed something in its eyes though... a weird shade that gave them a visceral feeling.

Bonnie wouldn't be able to leave sifs side after this, as they were told that he was 'just going to take a nap' and he ended up getting attacked. So bonnie sees this and knows that they can't leave the rest of the party anymore, but what's worse about it is that even though frin looks half dead, they're not bleeding, like at all. Instead, every scratch and wound is this weird back nothingness, which is even more reason to not let him alone ever again!

Mira tries her best to heal him, but nothing happens, almost like its permanent damage, like its scars, which stress her out even more! The person who she thought she could trust with her life is now badly injured because of her! If she just didn't ask him to come along, he would never have gotten hurt! It's all her fault! Its-

And isa would hide his true feelings about the entire thing, just trying to cheer sif up by telling him how cool he is for being able to hold his own against that sadness, they that couldn't even damage... wait what? Why couldn't they damage it? Why could only sif damage it? Well that doesn't matter! Sif looks really cool now! He tries his best to help out the freaking out siffrin.

Odile on the other hand would take that thought and run with it. When she saw that when they tried to attack the sadness, not only did it not flinch, like at all, it's form also didn't even react! No small bits of water, nothing. And then there's the fact that whatever it did to siffrin is permanent and can't be healed, what it said was weird to, not to mention that IT COULD TALK? No something wasn't right here... they should really talk to siffrin later.

Yes! I am using some headcannons for this! Specifically the loop appeared before the loops and was just hiding, the loop being sap!sif but I made him worse, and one thing that's just true, is that odile will know that isa also saw the weird thing and will talk to them about it and everything.

oh gosh um. honestly its not a super fancy hc? and obviously its not like the intentional reading of his character, isa is a super romancey character i know this.

but i dunno! i guess its sort of me projecting onto a guy i like? ive always been really fond of the thing of 'aro[ace] character enjoys the concept of romance and likes the idea of being in love with someone'. ive got a handful of personal ocs who fall into this trope (shoutout phillie i never talk about you but i love you my aroace cupid) and i am also kinda that way?

isa really likes romance! as a concept! he likes tropey, cheesy, sappy romance stories! he likes talking about romance in theory! it feels like he could be the kind of guy who loves to think about these kinds of things, but doesnt really feel them himself? until he gets violently sidelined by a sudden wave of romantic attraction (or something close to it).

it works with how bashful about his own feelings he is too, i think. he can talk about dating and love in the context of fiction, but doesnt really know what to do when its him whos getting all the dokis. this also sort of circles back to how isabeau is willing to talk about other peoples feelings but not so much his own? like we know he goes to odile about his crush on sif instead of mira because he knows real life romance tends to make her uncomfortable? which is a Very Aro thing to notice about a friend i think but i digress.

he also calms down pretty significantly after actually getting his confession to sif out. hes more than willing to wait for their answer and doesnt mind the 'i love you, but im not sure if its in the same way'.

the way he ends up confessing at all can read aro-ish to me, too? like he fully spills his guts. he lays all of his emotions flat on the table and goes 'this is all of the stuff that i like about you!!!!!! i have catalogued in my brain all of the things i like about you!!!!!!!!!!!'

and an aside that doesnt matter but im still adding: the hate crush thing? im still not convinced hate crushes are a real thing actual people get. i know people say they do but i cannot actually fathom that. it sounds like confusing non-romantic emotions for romantic ones because theyre Strong Emotions. isabeau mentions having had hate crushes. yadda yadda accidental wires crossing.

Okay no so hang on, this art got me thinking (isat spoilers ahead)

So if the party goes to the House without Siffrin, someone makes it to the King and gets attacked.

The death corridor normally kills Siffrin, but it only triggers if everyone believes it's safe. So, when they don't have Siff, the options are: the party makes it through that corridor while at least one person is feeling unsafe the entire time (doesn't really make sense since after remembering that it's the death corridor Mira doesn't walk forward at all while Siff and the others are trying to convince her that it's safe, meaning that the moment she DOES think it's safe enough to start walking, the rock would fall), they find the switch themselves while initially looking for traps (also unlikely unless Siff really DID do a terrible sloppy job the first time, which I find unlikely in such a high stakes situation where they're doing what they're supposed to be good at - I think they think to themselves that they did a sloppy job because their self-worth is just that low and that no one else would have found it either), the rock hits no one when it falls (unlikely, because even when I hugged the walls trying to go through the corridor without hitting the switch it still got me), or the rock kills at least one of them and misses at least Isa - BECAUSE (I would really need to play through the House again to know for sure but I think) the only one who ABSOLUTELY MUST survive that corridor in order for the party to progress to the King IS Isa, because only he knew about the mirror, which lets you get the smiling key that is required to keep advancing on floor 3. (Technically, you could argue that someone might eventually find the switch on the mirror without knowing, but I find that hard to believe when it isn't implied that the party takes significantly longer to make it to the King without Siff.) It is EXTREMELY unlikely that Isa could make it all the way to the King alone because of the fact that he only uses rock attacks and is incapable of learning other craft attacks and would have to use up tonics for healing (which are limited in supply), so it's very likely that either Odile OR Mira survive the death corridor along with Isa since they both know scissor and paper craft skills. I feel that Mira would be the one more likely to have survived the death corridor because of tear- and crest-related reasons (which I talk about more in a second) and since she's the only one who can heal and unfreeze allies in battle. They are all also very protective of Bonnie, making them walk in the back while traveling and stuff like that, so I think they would definitely not let Bonnie walk around alone in the death corridor, meaning that Bonnie would stay close to someone while they're in there. Since Isa and Mira likely survive, then either Odile is crushed or both Odile AND Bonnie are crushed by the rock and the surviving members must continue on after witnessing that.

Floor 2 has the key that's in the Head Housemaiden's office, which means they HAD to be thorough enough to find the key the first time they were in there. There's no other option for them to have progressed to the King.

Another challenge is the tears and crest situation on floor 3. Technically, the surviving party members could get very very lucky and guess which tears to use the floor 3 crest on correctly, but it's more likely that they would guess wrong and get stuck - in which case only Mira could advance since she's immune to the tears and could maybe, MAYBE, pass through them in order to keep advancing - meaning the others would either be dead, frozen, or left behind at this point.

Because of all these factors, I hc that Odile is crushed in the death corridor and that, unless they got unlucky and someone else died or was frozen by a tear on the way, Mira has to leave Isa and Bonnie behind to fight the King by herself - and she almost certainly dies trying to fight him alone, because she doesn't know the shield skill. So it's all for nothing.

what the title says i have thoughts in my brain and i want to share them

isafrin date thing pretty much immediately post-game: sif should get to be sick for at least a week. and the party fusses over them the whole time and it's adorable and then i think one night. sif should turn to isa and ask if he wants to hang out. hehe and sif brings isa to go look at the stars this time! and it's sort of like isa's friendquest but this time they are actually snuggling. and not just talking about isa, they're talking bout sif too some of the stuff isa says is reminiscent of the loops which freaks sif out a bit. but it just makes them happy to hear isabeau talk and he would share some things that happened in the loops-- wholesome things of course i think it'd still be a while before they opened up about the uh. the worse shit. but stuff like teaching bonnie to fight, finding out they were allergic to pineapple the hard way (isa would be freaked by this but sif finds it hilarious), maybe tell him about wish craft and color theory, the change god helping them out, bombing the king, etc etc. the nice stuff. AND THEN. I THINK THE ISA USING A SHOOTING STAR AS A DISTRACTION THING SHOULD HAPPEN-- BUT ITS REAL THIS TIME <3 like sif looks up and it's a whole freaking meteor shower... and isa tells them to make a wish, to which they respond "i'm not messing with that again for a looooong time" :)))) and i just think that should culminate in isa carrying a sleeping sif back to either the clocktower or the house, wherever the family has set up shop... njhgfcftyhujkuhgvfcdfty i love them they're so cute

LOOP THOUGHTS. i dont know if i am committing to this hc, but i think it would be cool if loop and siffrin became a system of sorts? i know very little about plurality so i dont really know what im talking about... if i get anything wrong please tell me! but ive got yet another scene in mind like right before the party leaves dormont to go pick up nille, sif visits the favor tree one last time. just. reminiscing. and mira would come along and find him and they'd have a talk! not specifically about loop, but loop would definitely come up in the conversation and then at some point sif says that loop mentioned that they'd be coming back and is like "i wonder when we'll see them again" and loop just screams HOW ABOUT RIGHT NOW and shoves siffrin out of front jhugtfcvfdxscfgthbnygvh i think loop should still get to have their own body and autonomy and stuff, i just think they should also be able to just show up in sif's head. and vice versa i think eventually sif figures out how to do it as well and they just get to constantly bother each other from a shared headspace dcgbnjuytfg

and. and then i think that can lead into a lot of sad wholesome moments where sif lets loop be siffrin for a little while. like the party is sitting around a campfire telling stories and being happy, sif notices loop hanging around in the headspace, and lets them drive for a bit. i dont think they'd do it very often or for super long or anything but. hgfcdxcfgybhnj. they should get to be siffrin every once in a while too. as time goes on and they become more of their own person they do it less and less, but for the first few months to a year or so it's comforting to be able to be surrounded by versions of their past family, if only for a bit as i said. i dont know what im talking about really so if i said anything badly or if any of these ideas are bad please let me know

time craft shenanigans i think sif (and loop) should get to keep time craft powers after the loops end not to like. the extreme that the loops were. but like how sif will loop back like five minutes if they screw something up socially-- i think they should get to keep that EXCEPT. the party learns to pick up on what time craft feels like. so if theyre ever talking to sif and boom weird time craft feeling and sif is in a wildly different emotional state they can just go "sif. did you loop back. what happened." i think it would be a good. like. starting therapy point? them having a toxic coping mechanism for when things go badly and the rest of the group helping him work through those situations instead of avoiding avoiding avoiding and i think loop should keep it for the memes (and trauma reasons. but mostly the memes.)

it would get better with time, as siffrin (and loop) gets more and more comfortable with being uncomfortable and messing up and learning to work through the anxiety and and and then that could lead to a big situation a few years in the future when the group splits up. and sif is TERRIFIED that the loops will start again i dont think the group would ever split up for good though. they're a family!!! they're not gonna just leave each other behind after another few months of traveling!!!! that just means all the suffering sif went through was for nothing!!!!! and yeah, they cant stay together forever. i know. but even after splitting up they'd still definitely have family reunions like every other tuesday

BUT SIF AND ISA NEVER SPLIT UP EVER. NOT EVEN FOR FIVE MINUTES they get bonded and go on to open a boutique/trinket shop <3
