RATWM speaker Jackson Hinkle has made his pro-Russia, anti-Ukraine stance very public. His social media is full of thoughts like “Zelensky is responsible for every death in the Ukraine war, not Putin,” and “standing with Putin is anti-war.” But something that has not been publicly disclosed is his relationship with Anna Linnikova, who won the title of Miss Russia in 2022.
it was so appropriate and so purely journalistic "and generally ambiguous" to chant 'they not gonna get us' (tatu nas ne dogonyat ) wow nothing happened AT ALL that MYSTERIOUS RUSSIAN SOUL UNDER THE RED SILK VUAL SO NAS NE DOGONYAT NAS NE DOGONYAT VERY NE VSYO TAK ODNOZNACHNO

Just incredibly good looking 😍. . . there was a story that she was also Miss Russia but that’s rubbish (unfortunately) - two completely different women - but by looks alone she could have been.
She was active for a very short period - in fact she only made 7 movies for Private and that’s about it, give or take the odd Woodman scene, - hard to find but worth it if you want to see her get airtight!
As she’s so hard to find I’ve created an overflow post as well!
to be completely honest, I don't want macdennis in this finale at all. i want den's plot to stay his own. i want the gang to understand just how much they rely on dennis, and how the pressure is finally wearing him down. dennis' inability to escape these high expectations from all of them. of the responsibility that he hates so much. this has been a part of his plotlines for years, and now he can't even take a day trip to the beach without the gang calling him for dumb shit. he's expected to be there to help the gang whenever they need him, but will they be there to help him?
1st sentence ask - "It's gameday so you better not knot me"
Zhenya blushes when he says it, but with the way Sid's been following him around all morning, from the weights room to video review and even into the trainer's despite Zhenya's protests, he thinks it needs to be said.
The team is already on tenterhooks, watching them like hawks—with Zhenya's heat approaching like a freight train and the way Sid's been haunting his footsteps, they're ready to pull the plug on the whole experiment if it looks like it's going to negatively impact the on-ice product, and Zhenya thinks both of them missing a game because Sid pinned him down and tied them together would definitely qualify.
"Hmm," Sid says, crowding into Zhenya's space; he's shorter, but the width of his body makes Zhenya feel small, even younger than he is, like he wants to curl up in the protective crush of Sid's arms and let Sid do whatever he wants.
Omega instincts are a real bitch, but Zhenya's made it to the NHL on nothing more than will and grit, and he's determined that he won't be.
Sid's voice is hypnotic when he puts his lips to Zhenya's year and murmurs, "I think you don't mean a word of that," and Zhenya shivers, because it's true.

On the topic of alexander depictions in film or tv, do u have a favourite ? might be difficult for you to properly answer as he usually appears only briefly, but :)
He does mostly appear briefly in movies so it is hard to pick a favorite… in my opinion no version encapsulated him in all his… ‘range’ to put it nicely) He left quite contradictory impressions on people so it’s no surprise his on-screen portrayals are all over the place but I think they all have good aspects.
The 2023 Napoleon movie probably has my favorite appearance of the tsar so far. Everyone’s so eager to make him bald by 1807, it’s nice to see a version that shows why most of Europe was so charmed by him. He nailed that look of boyish innocence and I think he could have really shined with a better script.
I already wrote extensively my thoughts on Toby Stephens so I won’t repeat myself, but there’s this tendency (mostly with soviet movies) to portray Alexander as vain, weak, petty and kind of stupid (which… is not UNTRUE but he was not only that). But all bitchy versions of Alex get a point for sass
So notable exceptions to this are weirdly two Russian series from the early 00’s: “Poor, poor Paul” and “The Northern Sphinx” that portray Alexander at very different stages of his life but feel like organic extensions of each other because they really lean into that ‘sensitive tortured idealist’ part of his personality
“Poor poor Paul” in my opinion absolves Alexander of any sin a bit too much (and his relationship with his wife was WAY too perfect for how quickly that went downhill) but it’s still one if the few versions that attempts some deeper understanding of his personal conflict and actually takes him seriously
And finally the Northern Sphinx! The series picks up at 1818 after Alexander is already disillusioned with power, tortured by his past, and drawn to mysticism. I have only watched the series halfway through, but this might be the most complex analysis of him on screen so far. It shows him deeply disappointed by life and already past his prime, but it makes him no less compelling to watch. You really understand why people are so drawn to him despite everything.
Now this series is pretty obscure even in Russia and the quality of sound and footage are a bit… subpar (low-budget russian tv, duh) so the chances of finding a subtitled version are pretty slim. But if you are interested I recommend at least scrubbing through it, the main actor is quite good.
