Adrien’s popularity crisis

     Throughout season 5, we see that Adrien’s avatar had left him just as conflicted about his modeling career and just as frustrated over his popularity among the Parisians as when he was still working as a model himself. Although people like Alya and Marinette’s parents know now that Adrien had decided to quit modeling, other people, specifically his fans, may not be aware that he hated being a model, let alone why he hated it . 

     Adrien took Marinette's advise to take a chance and tell Gabriel exactly how he feels in order to break free of his modeling career, and although he is no longer a model, he is now struggling in trying to be rid of his avatar as he feels uncomfortable knowing his image is still everywhere carrying out his old work and is now even easily accessible for people to use to make him say and do whatever they want through the alliance rings.

      Adrien’s solution to all of this is of course a simple one, Adrien must be willing to be more open about his frustrations and not feel afraid to speak his mind on the matter to others more often, however, this is something Adrien is not able to do so easily. When he is Cat Noir, Adrien’s civilian limitations are gone, as a result, he has no problem expressing his feelings as he feels more free to do and say whatever he wants, but when he is just Adrien, its different. Adrien is known for being a kind and generous person who always tries to love everyone who loves him back, he often tries to do whatever he can to please everyone but because of this, he is more hesitant to speak his mind about his frustrations towards others and put his foot down regardless of what others may think.

      Back in “Risk”, Adrien was able to speak out about his feelings more clearly as a result of Risks power, but now that Risk is gone, Adrien has once again become timid about speaking out, especially in regards to the swarming friends and fans who are constantly expressing their love and admiration for him. As much as Adrien may want to tell all his fans of the boundaries he wants set, he cant, not only because he always tries to love everyone who love him back, but because he likely believes they will not easily understand him just like how he believed everyone would not easily understand his dilemma about not wanting to go on the modeling tour back in “Risk”, everyone except Marinette of course.

     If Adrien has any chance to deal with his avatar and limit the overly excited fans, then he may need to talk to the one person he does know in the fan crowd, Wayhem.  Back in “Gorizilla”, Wayhem had originally promised Adrien to limit his overly excited fan behavior,  however, the release of the alliance rings appears to have caused him to revert to his old habit.

     Wayhem is ordinarily the one in the fan crowd who is either quick to be wherever all the other fans find Adrien from a picture, with his location already specified, on social media, which is what Lila did back in “Illusion”, or lead the fans himself as he is able to locate and find someone like Adrien from minimal details, such as a single photo with minimal details in the background of the bakery Adrien was in, which is what happened in ”Elation/ Exaltation”.

      Wayhem is Adrien number one fan, but we don’t really know if he is the head of Adrien’s fan club.  We know Adrien and Wayhem became friends back in “Gorizilla”, but as of now, we have no real confirmation if anyone else in the fan club is aware of Wayhem’s connection to Adrien. Regardless, if Wayhem decides to take Adrien’s side and help him deal with the problem surrounding his avatar, then it will not be an easy feat to not only get the word out that Adrien disliked being a model, but convince everyone that they need to stop fawning over him and instead dedicate themselves to renouncing their alliance rings in order to benefit Adrien’s hopes of finally being freed from the burdens of his modeling career.

       Adrien’s avatar and fans needs to be dealt with, and if Wayhem has as much of a connection to the fans as hinted, then Wayhem might be able to help Adrien do the one thing he was unable to do alone, which is gather support to stop his father from using his image as an avatar to the alliance rings. Marinette would of course be in support of such a movement, but it will not be easy to go against Gabriel who is at the center of it, if they don’t have enough support from the public.

Ladynoir Crack Prompt

In her thirteenth year, Marinette found herself crushing hard on a boy she'd met at a Gabriel fan event. She loved the man's fashion, while the boy was a modeling enthusiast and wouldn't shut up about Gabriel's son, Adrien.

She soon receives a miraculous and is told to fight some new villain named Hawkmoth. Oh, and she has a partner named Chat Noir!

Staring at Chat, she can't help but notice how much he looks like her crush, Wayhem! It must be him!

But Wayhem lives across the city, so there's no way for them to regularly date. And she's so nervous around him when they're civilians!

So she does the most logical thing: she decides to date him in their superhero forms. One day, after defeating Hawkmoth, she'll be able to reveal to him that he's been dating his friend Marinette all along!

Until then, they share late-night cuddles on the Eiffel Tower and talk about their future with three kids and a hamster.

Adrien Agreste? He just can't believe how lucky he is to be dating Ladybug when he's transformed!

Plus Luka is such a flirt, the way either boy would blush like mad if Luka flirted with them would be truly worthwhile.

The crackiest crack ship when Adrien is with Marinette but Luka still wants him! Wayhem would be super happy someone close to Adrien is interested and Luka would find Wayhem interesting to listen to...

“One thing that bothers me about ML's fandom hypocrisy is that Marinette is constantly hated for being a “stalker”, but Wayhem has not only stalked Adrien, but he has also followed him around despite him trying to get away from him, has taken photos of him without his permission, POST HIS LOCATION TO OTHER PEOPLE (which could potentially put Adrien's life in jeopardy btw), and Adrien HAS SHOWN that he’s uncomfortable with his behavior to some degree. However, it’s all even ignored, called cute, written off as funny, or even seen as Wayhem being “gay for Adrien”. I’m seriously starting to think it’s partly because Marinette is a female POC and Wayhem is a gay white male. The problem isn’t that Marinette gets called out for being creepy at all, it’s the fact that she’s the only one who does.”

Two 14yos have just realized they just very likely killed a guy - well, eventually. There's definitelly episodes where you can forget that they are in fact kids, but this one is not one of them. This one punches you in the fact with it.

Multipication analysis

The episodes starts with Ladybug coming to the realization that Felix has somehow made contact with Monarch and should be their main lead to finding the Miraculous, they don’t know what his connection to Monarch is, let alone if he knows his identity but what they do know is that he is their best shot, so with the cosmic power up, they head to London. But before they do, we see Su-Han confront them about loosing all the miraculous, but rather than sit and listen to his complaining, Ladybug and Cat Noir stand up for themselves to tell him they are handling it and rather than complain to them, he should trust them. Hearing them talk about just how much they are doing to retrieve the miraculous makes Su-Han break down and admit he has been a terrible guardian and should have done more to help, turns out the reason he never shows up is because he was distracted by all the things modern time has to offer and was even caught up in the wonders of the internet to the point of watching cat videos on his new phone for months at a time (happens to all of us). In an effort to redeem his foolish behavior, Su-Han promises to leave and return with back up to help Ladybug and Cat Noir retrieve the Miraculous.

As they pass through Paris, we see Cat Noir notice Wayhem by the streets looking up at the sky, possibly confusing him for Felix in disguise given he wears similar clothing to Adrien. Cat Noir stops midair to wave hi to him upon realizing his mistake, leaving Ladybug a little surprised by Cat Noirs sudden need to stop and greet Wayhem. For those who don’t know, Wayhem and Adrien’s friendship has really grown throughout the seasons after “Gorizilla”, Wayhem was even invited to Adrien’s private award ceremony in “Optigami”.

When they arrive in London, they meet Felix’s mother, Amelie, who informs them she hasn’t seen Felix all day and hasn’t been able to contact him, she knew not to worry at first since he should have gone to see Adrien in Paris, but Gabriel informed her he hadn't seen Felix either. Her statements of worry, effectively make Ladybug and Cat Noir reconsider their suspicions of Felix having made contact with Monarch and now assume the possibility that Felix is a victim in the situation.

Back at home, Marinette decides to avoid her love for Adrien and focus on her mission to retrieve the miraculous, while Adrien decides to take Marinette's advise and tell his father he just doesn't want to be a model anymore, a request Gabriel very easily accepted which came at a big shock to Adrien, his face just screamed, “what!?, really?!...um...ok then”.

Not going to go into to much detail over this since the fanbase is already none stop talking about it, so moment of celebration for the love square reversal happening, so strap in because the fanbase is about to run wild!

With their lead now gone, Ladybug and Cat Noir decide to wait and be on high alert the next time Monarch appears so they can reclaim more miraculous. At school, heir classmates receive news from Alix’s father that Alix will not return until Monarch is beaten and was given permission from Ladybug to inform everyone that Alix has been entrusted with a miraculous to become the hero Bunnyx. Considering Alix’s dad and family would have been thrown into a pool of problems by attempting to lie to everyone about Alix’s sudden disappearance, Ladybug was left with no other choice but to allow everyone to know Alix’s identity. Whether or not Ladybug will ask for the bunny miraculous back once she returns is unknown but given no one really knows what the bunny miraculous looks like, Alix can just as easily keep it without telling everyone what it is or that she has it.

Knowing fully well that they all must remain prepared in case Monarch tries to akumatize them, everyone agrees to do their best to stay positive and look out for one another. Chloe criticizes the heroes mistake for loosing all the miraculous but Lila interferes by informing her that Ladybug and Cat Noir are still young and are left with a big responsibility, fighting a villain like Monarch isn't easy so everyone should take time to understand their situation and forgive them for their mistakes....man she’s good, this further adds to her false persona of being an absolute saint. However, because Monarch does not attack in weeks, everyone eases up and returns to their normal lives.

As for Gabriel, he was very quickly moving into the next step of his plans. Now that Nathalie is no longer involved in his goal to defeat Ladybug and Cat Noir, he needs to improvise and look to another for support, this person was none other than Tomoe.

 Whether or not Nathalie still works for Gabriel to some degree is unknown, but it wouldn't be to surprising if she decided to completely leave the Agreste mansion given she has come to the realization that Gabriel is just crazy now. No doubt we will see her again but if she were to return to Gabriel, it would likely be only for the sake of Adrien.

After Ikari Gozen attacks Paris and is discovered to posses the power of the mouse miraculous, Ladybug and Cat Noir ask Tsurugi if she has a specific piece of jewelry on her, but she doesn’t, leaving Ladybug and Cat Noir to realize that Monarch has spent his time making sure the miraculous could not be easily obtained in an akuma attack. As Tsurugi drives off she talks to Gabriel using the ring on her finger as a phone, she tells him the prototype was a success, revealing to us that Tomoe was perfectly aware she was using the power of the miraculous and  is completely aware that Gabriel is Monarch! the only question is , why is she working with him? we know they are business partners but what does she have to gain helping him with his plans as Monarch?!

As the episode nears its end, we see that Gabriel is launching a new line of technology, the same ring Tomoe was using moments before. These “ring phones” portray a digital version of Adrien and Lila to act as avatars to the phones. With the successful launch of the rings , we see Adrien concerned for the events that have taken place not only because of his father and Tsurugis alliance, but because for the first time in his life, Adrien is now free to focus on himself, something that he will need time adjusting to since his whole life has revolved around being what his parents wanted him to be. But upon seeing his digital copy, it’s as if Adrien feels unsatisfied with his confrontation with his father and although he can now stop being a model, his image will still be used by his father for business, effectively leaving him to still remain trapped in his modeling career without actually being in it, but given he got what he wanted and was ultimately freed from his work as a model, it looks like Adrien does not know how to feel about the situation just yet.

In the secret ending, we see Felix at home, revealing that Amelie had lied to Ladybug and Cat Noir after seeing them act like her son was a villain they were hunting, also calm down everyone, don’t pin the evil card on her so quickly, she’s just a mom trying to protect her child. With his mother ensuring he has disappeared from the public eye, we know this can’t go on forever, which is why its completely possible that Felix has already had more than enough time to come up with a plan  to throw everyone off his trail, and with the power of the peacock miraculous, who knows what he will do. .

Bee Miraculous Related AUs

Bee-Exceptional! AU 

AU where everything after Love Eater happens differently. 

Chloe is instead suspended from her Queen Bee duties since instead of betraying Ladybug in the end, she had a change of heart and turns on Hawkmoth at the last second. 

Zoe Lee still comes into the picture and becomes Vesperia, but Chloe already knows about Zoe’s existence and their relationship is a bit better. 

Zoe is a bit more honest and straightforward in this AU, but still has her sweet and insecure personality intact. 

Chloe has a bit of an inferiority complex when it comes to her sister, so they basically both feel that way about each other (thanks to their mother).

Hornet! AU 

AU where Hawkmoth still manages to take the bee miraculous at the end of Miracle Queen, but instead gives it to Lila in hopes to gain an apprentice or sidekick of some kind. Lila becomes an Anti-Hero.

Tales of Sabrina The Bee! AU 

To put it simply, it’s an AU centered around Sabrina Raincomprix, her coming of age and her adventures as the new bee superheroine. The AU takes place after Miraculor.

King Bee! AU 

An AU that happens similar to Desperada, where there’s an akuma that requires the bee miraculous holder and Ladybug decides to give it to Adrien. 

Bee! Sabrina and Dog! Zoe! AU 

Basically a “Reflecta 3” AU where Sabrina and Zoe switch miraculous.

Snake! Alix and Rabbit! Aurore! AU 

AU where everything’s the same, but Alix and Aurore get the snake and rabbit miraculouses respectively (miraculouses that I personally think they should’ve gotten).

An AU where Adrien becomes the pig for a short time. Adrien has a male dancer/ballerina vibe to this form.

Miraculous Love / Miraculous Dating Sim! AU 

AU where Marinette basically a main character in a harem anime lol! 

In all seriousness, there’s the project going on in Paris. 

Adrien, Nino, Alya, Luka, Kagami and Chloe are all partnerless. 

Marinette gets to choose who she wants to work with on this project. 

The AU splits into 6 routes, each with one of Marinette’s possible love interests. 

If this is a game format, the player gets to play as Marinette and gets to choose who they would like to work with on the project. 

If this is a special/a movie/episodes of some sort, then they will tell separate stories, each other focusing on Marinette and her love interest. 

Alya and Nino AREN’T dating in this AU of course. 

Your Loyal Fan! / Mister Tracker! AU - AU where Wayhem is given the dog miraculous instead of Sabrina. Probably going to be tied to the bee Sabrina AU.

Sabrina’s Flock! AU 

AU where an incident happens at school which causes Sabrina to switch Ms. Mendeleiev’s class. 

She finally breaks away from Chloe because of this. 

She starts to get well acquitted with Aurore, Zoe, Marc, Ondine, Kagami, Wayhem, Mirelle and many other students in her new class. 

Being a student of Ms. Mendeleiev’s, she gets a bit more of a thicker skin and confidence. 

So basically, it’s another Sabrina coming of age story. 

This MIGHT be in play in the Bee!Sabrina AU, but a bit different. 

Inspired by @zoe-oneesama ‘s Different Class AU with Marinette.

Amnesia! Chloe AU

AU where Chloe gets into a terrible car accident, causing her to lose all of her memories. 

Despite still having a slight sharp-togue, her classmates (especially Marinette and Adrien) all decide to help Chloe and be her friend. 

Chloe also soon realizes that many of the things that she did wrong to people WERE wrong, tries to correct it in the best ways she knows how.

Ladybug! Into the Ladyverse!

An AU special where Ladybug meets the Ladybug superheroes from different Dimensions. 

They are all people she knows in her universe. 

It’s based on Spiderman: Into The Spiderverse.

Tales of Scarabella and Lady Onyx! AU 

AU where Marinette succeeded in giving Alya the Ladybug Miraculous and in some way, Chloe got her hands on the Cat miraculous that was meant for Adrien. 

So basically, the AU would be about the adventures and misadventures of Scarabella (Alya) and Lady Onyx (Chloe) from there on, with certain episodes being slightly changed, to somewhat changed, to mostly changed and to completely changed, since the story would be about them two. 

Instead of a “love square”, it’s a “love and hate square” that will get actual development and growth. 

Marinette gets the fox miraculous and Adrien gets the bee.

Tales of Rena Rouge & Queen Bee! AU 

AU that’s similar to the Scarabella & Lady Onyx AU, but closer to canon.

 It’s a “love and hate sqaure” between Rena Rouge and Queen Bee. 

This is based on the rumors before season 2 of MLB, where Rena Rouge and Queen was going to have a romance. 

Master Fu gives Alya and Chloe their miraculouses instead of Marinette, so she doesn’t know neither Rena or Bee’s identities. 

Rena Rouge and Queen Bee work together, but not with Ladybug and Chat Noir. However, they do come in and help them most of the time when they are in a jam.
