Okay. I’m just gonna put everything I’ve figured out about these two here in this post. Um.

Tagging @the-daycare-pokecenter since park wanted more info? Uh yeah.

We received these two Pokémon from a person our age or a little bit older. He called them Koraidon and Miraidon. He didn’t like them or want anything to do with them. Their pokeballs however are registered to Sada and Turo respectively.

The form that we’ve shown them in is not their true form. Or at least, the guy who gave them to us acted like that. They have a different form, where they are larger and stand upright- or, Koraidon stands, Miraidon has jets that make it hover? We saw this form the first time we met them, they took the powered up forms to protect us from a Houndoom and it’s houndour pack. Afterwards they collapsed and reverted back to this… I’m just going to call it their default form because it seems to be their neutral state at the moment?

The pokedex app doesn’t recognize them, but its scans did let us find out their typings, or at least get a pretty good guess. They’re both dragon types, like Cyclizar. Koraidon is probably fighting type, and Miraidon is probably electric type.

Now heres the new information.

In the entrance to the school there’s a library. There are a lot of paranormal magazines called occulture, I guess they’re popular? And they talk about weird “pokemon” that are from sci fi stories… there’s a double volume about a future, robot donphan and a past, dinosaur donphan.

The same type of creatures described in the Scarlet and the Violet books. The Donphan described in Occulture are almost one-to-one for the weird donphan-like pokemon seen in blurry pictures in the scarlet and violet books.

That’s their powered up form.

You have no reason to believe me since we haven’t showed those forms but that’s what they look like.

I. I probably sound like a conspiracy theorist right now. Sorry.

Part of the scarlet and violet books go on about the “winged king” and the “iron serpent”.

But. Uh. All that speculation aside.

Koraidon seems to like being in the sun. Any chance it gets, it sits directly in a sunbeam, a behaviour not shared with Miraidon. It’s scaled, and in its powered up form had a big head frill that doesnt show in its default form but… yeah. It bonded with Juls.

They both kinda. Bonded with the person who gave them their sandwich. So Koraidon likes Juli more and Miraidon likes me more. I think the two of them would count as a. Bonded pair?

Miraidon is interesting because it. Seems to be fully robotic? Like. It eats, it sleeps, but… it’s a robot? It’s made of metal, and in its powered up form it has what seems like… energy? That’s visible in its neck section, and around and coming out of the eye area and the tip of its, and it looks like stars… and it has jets that let it hover… it’s weird. But it’s not really like any artificial Pokémon I know of either… its. Weird.

(This is about robot fixations) I legit have so many, so I’m making this a post because why not (plus counting this as an ask because this was a question, right???)

The first robot “fixation” of my childhood was probably either the Oscarbots from Odd Squad or Bot from Team OomiZoomies. I don’t know which one was first, but I blame everything that I go into on them (especially Bot since he’s a single dad-esk robot smh) (Someone for the orange thing from BrainPop here).

The first actual fandom I was in was in was DDLC and it has to do more with AIs than actual robots but I’ll count it.

Sigh this is where I insert my K1B0 phase. Me and my irl friend were really in it (they were a Kokichi fan btw. We still vibed a lot tho). I think I have about 9 fully “rendered” (these were from 4 years ago so they were kinda bad and low quality) fan art of him, with countless doodles in my homework and notes. Those were the days.

This really shouldn’t count as one but the FNF mod Hex was something I really really liked and made too much fan art if for a TV screen that played basketball
