Two sentance summary: Akira has a secret admirer. Shenanigans ensue.

The way this is written is immaculate. I love poet Goro and dumb flirt Akira. He took so long to figure out that Goro likes him like boy, he's thirsting so hard it's almost painful. I also burst out laughing at the confession scene. Goro just shoves a note at him that only has a sentence on it after describing in brutal detail how much he wants Akira like days before. So yeah, I want to crunch on this fic like a good french fry.

Hi! So I have a character who got their eye hurt during a mission and is, effectively, blind in one eye. He has some vision but as the days go by and he keeps getting into stressful situations, it’s a little to none. I wanted to know what aids he could use if he has one blind eye and one seeing eye?

Hello!

In order to give an answer that's truly specific to your character, I would need some more information such as what their degree of blindness is and the circumstances with which they became blind.

I'd also like to request some clarification on the point about the stressful situations. Is this meant to say that their eye is being injured again in the stressful situations or that the stress itself is making the injury and their blindness worse? While stress can have an effect on vision, it generally wouldn't cause a traumatic eye injury to worsen on its own.

In general, however, the main problem that comes from monocular vision (Losing vision in one eye) is a lack of depth perception. People with monocular vision often have trouble navigating obstacles such as stairs, curbs, polls, etc. because they can't accurately gauge how far away something is. If this is a problem your character has, they may benefit from using a guide cane.

Guide canes aren't as long as long canes (Which is what people usually picture when they hear the phrase 'white cane') and are generally used for getting information about a step or so ahead. This could benefit your character because they'd be able to gauge the depth of a step or a curb ahead of them as well as identify any poles or other obstacles that are directly in front of them.

I've been leaning more shape heavy and cartoonish with my drawing lately, and communicating character traits through those shapes. so giving Viking eyes that are often associated with upbeat and silly characters while giving Legs eyes that are often associated with more serious characters - I thought it'd be fun, and it seemed fitting that they match!
