That night, squished in-between his boyfriend and his best friend, Jaskier had thought he was the luckiest guy in the world. Tonight, he wasn’t sure which demonic entity he’d managed to piss off between waking up and arriving in Soho but it must have been personal. The phone call he was having with his remaining 3% battery, icy cold rain dripping down his hair and down his back, was the final straw. It's Geralt and Jaskier's first Valentines Day as a couple, but are they about to be outshone by Lambert and his mystery date? The Valentines fic in October that nobody asked for! I drafted half of this at the start of the year, got too busy to finish it, and then promptly forgot about it. When I found it in my drafts today I just had to see it off, and yes I could have waited until next Valentines Day to post it... but by then I'd probably have forgotten about it again.

woa modern au headcanons

Eros was originally born into a cult with no idea who his mother or father were, he only knew his purpose was to help tend to the wounds of others

When he was about 12, he was rescued by a group of people including Alexi

Alexi took him in as his own and adopted him, he owned a florist's shop and Eros worked at for a long while

Alexi gave him the name Amatus Bahre, as he didn't have one before then

After escaping the cult, Eros drastically changed his appearance, dying his blonde hair pink and getting tons of piercings, this is also when he adopted the more jirai kei fashion he enjoys

After the death of Alexi, Eros remained in the florist's shop for half a year before a meeting with Sampo Koski who he'd been running into on the train for quite some time eventually introduced him to the Fools

The Masked Fools is a circus troupe run by Mr. Aha. And while it is a legitimate circus with acts and entertainment, they are also more or less cat burglars thieving from the crowds that gather for their shows

Regardless of the ship verse, Eros shares a trailer with Sampo because of the fact that he was his first friend

He picked Eros for himself as a stage name after the god of love

He's an aerial silk dancer but will occasionally assist Sampo with his knife throwing act

all these Sampo references are specifically @dreamscapesalesstore's interpretation cuz we've talked about this au before

protecting my peace this am and thinking of modern varric and how eventually he would stop writing op-ed pieces and focus on young adult and thriller fiction because someone who must not be named and is also an author kept pissing him off and he kept complaining to people and they told him that he should write a book.
