OK SO. king!gojo…… after some contemplation i think i definitely agree w u momo. i feel like satoru relaxes once he has the throne. its tough and a huge responsibility, a weight on his shoulders, but its no longer hanging over him as a burden he’ll one day have to bear, its something he’s gained and grown used to and i think he earnestly loves making a change in the society he lives in. and!! i think he is soso loved. i see him as the type to visit poorer villages all the time, financially support struggling mothers, speak to their babies and hold them all gently HES JUST SO… hes such a good man im gonna be sick. ABSOLUTELY helps all orphans he comes across they may or may not remind him of a certain knight so he cant bear to look away from them

(i do think he still longs to run away w knight!reader tho…. its just a nice daydream to him atp bc its impossible in so many ways but i think he hates the fact that being king means hes moved even further above them on the social ladder)

^ i agree soso much!!!! i think prince!gojo is very very clever, he enjoys acting goofy and has a very genuinely silly side but i do think hes both intelligent and mature. especially when it comes to politics, both for the sake of his own sense of duty AND what you said — for the sake of knight!reader!! they’re his motivation to become king in the first place, so i don’t see him doing anything that’ll cause too much of a stir; but at the same time… he gets away with a lot.

i do think rejecting his fiancee completely as a prince might be too much (his parents let him do as he pleases for the most part, but theyre not fun to deal with when they start to feel threatened lol), but once hes become king… well.

i think you’re right, momo!! he chooses to lead the nation on his own, with no queen by his side — only one very loyal knight. 

(on the topic of heirs though since thats kind of connected to this… obviously his decision causes quite a stir. who will lead the kingdom when hes gone? a king with no firstborn — how scandalous. and so on.

but satoru doesn’t care. he continues to live his life, do his duty. visiting villages, dealing with neighouring countries… and, well. maybe one day he happens to run into a particularly clever assassin, with a scar on his bottom lip, escaping by the skin of his teeth and thanks to his knight — and, who knows? maybe said assassin, bleeding out, murmurs something about a child, a run-down building, a young life soon to be lost… and maybe satoru finds said child. maybe he even feels compelled to look after him, just for a while, because that unruly hair and those guarded eyes remind him a bit too much of a certain someone.

and if satoru grows fond of said boy, if he raises him as a candidate for the throne, but with an understanding and sympathy that he never received himself — then that’s no one’s business but his own.)

i think he might even go as far as to say his heart belongs to someone else (hes giggling on the inside bro gets butterflies at the thought of belonging to his knight in any way shape or form), with no specifics since he doesnt want to get knight!reader into any kind of trouble with the royal court.

but yes!! this is where i think our takes differ a bit (not at ALL a bad thing i just need to make that clear!!) bc i dont rlly see knight!reader being jealous!! i see their relationship with satoru as very comfortable, w a strong sense of understanding between them. it isnt entirely romantic or entirely platonic — if i had to put it in simple terms i’d just call them soulmates. they were born to save each other. and i think both of them understand that! knight!reader is well aware that satoru doesnt feel a single thing for his fiancee, because he makes it so clear that no one has a place at his side except for knight!reader themselves. so in that sense i dont see that uncertainty appearing!! i think the only one between them who feels frustrated is satoru.

(but, of course, satoru’s happiness only ever lies with them 😔 stupid silly dense knight.)

first of all they are mystery incorporated and they all go out and investigate hauntings and ghosts. there is a van and it is cute bc it is overcrowded as hell bc there r 9 of them n a dog (im still contemplating what the dog is there for,,,or what the dog is named)

nayeon - nayeon just seems like a lot to deal with when they're out on cases,,,always messing around, flirting, not actually focusing on solving the cases, but gosh if she doesn't have the loudest shrieks when there's a loud noise. and then when the case is solved, she's the one who tells the reporters ALL about what they did, as if she solved it singlehandedly. ofc the others don't mind, i don't really think they like handling the media, and they lov nayeon too so like go ahead girl

jeongyeon - now i wouldn't call jeong a stoner in this au,,,but yeah pretty much, always chilling out in the back of the van, eating some sandwich or playing with said dog, i feel like jeongyeon's just coming along for the vibes, plus she likes scary things but all they ever find is old men hiding behind ghost masks so like whatever man. whenever something scary happens, she's more likely to just laugh and point at how stupid it looks

momo - mom #1 of the group, always makes sure the gang has all their gear, their extra clothes, their water bottles, their necessities, and even extra snacks just in case anyone gets hungry. i feel like momo would be always in the lead in one of those creepy hallways that the gang has to go through, and everyone's hiding behind her even though she too is equally scared and her knees are wobbling but she doesn't want any of them to get hurt so she stays strong <3

sana - i feel like sana LIKES being scared she's always yelling or screaming at the most mundane of things that aren't even related to the case, and when they're out investigating she's clinging onto someone so DAMN hard it's cutting off blood flow,,,but i also feel like she's the one who would actually bust out taekwondo moves if someone were to actually attack them, next thing u know she's arrested for aggravated assault on an old man wearing a ghost costume

jihyo - mom #2 of the group and probably the driver of the van, too. jihyo's probably the one who whips the rest of the group into shape by splitting up the gang to investigate multiple areas and report their findings, she's probably one of the only ones who takes this shit seriously tbh, but she does love the other members, it's just they have a knack for fooling around more than anything

mina - nerd #1, mina's probably the one who actually solves the case by doing some science-y thing or deduction (read: basic context clues and common sense bc no one else has them) mina probably has the map out when they're driving and attempting to help jihyo navigate where the actual hell they're going, while she's also trying to calm the other members who are scared

dahyun - ok hear me out i know theres no one like this in the actual scooby doo BUT i imagine dahyun as like,,,the girl in the chair??? like she's in the van, watching all the cameras, hacking all the security, talking to the others through a headset, and just watching the chaos unfold, ALSO she is deathly afraid of ghosts which is part of why she stays in the van bc she doesnt want to risk seeing an actual ghost

chaeyoung - probably the brain dead adrenaline junkie who chases after the damn ghosts, with not a lick of common sense in her HAHA she's always falling through pits, tripping on traps, and generally just being a reckless woman who wants to see if ghosts are real or not, probably also shit talks ghosts just to provoke a reaction out of them bc she's like 100% certain ghosts aren't real

tzuyu - nerd #2, tzuyu's probably the one talking some actual common sense into everyone and is probably the most rational thinker in the group, like there are no such things as ghosts, and whatever they're investigating probably has a logical explanation to it, also probably the one deducing who exactly the person behind a case is, listing out their motives and methods

ok now that ive written all this i kinda wanna write a fic where they investigate a case that has an ACTUAL ghost behind it that sounds like fun

hi i just went on a binge spree of reading all ur izumi fics and can i just say i LOVE ur characterization of shouto (chews on my walls) he's so cheeky at times yet still a dumbass who's still learning to socialize and he's so funny when he doesn't mean to be! also they way that u show how he feels safe with izumi with how he falls asleep on her on the train always made me melt. WAAAAAAAAAA

the way u write their banter feels so natural for siblings yet still showcases their underlying feelings and apprehension for each other in a way that always has me excited to see their next interaction yet at the same time dreading what angst shall befall them next (falls to my knees inside a walmart) i spent like 3 days reading non stop and my eyes r lowkey straining to see my phone screen from all the crying i did + staying up til like 4am but it was so worth it.

i'm excited to see how their reunion with touya will go in WHD and i am even more ready to witness endeavor's suffering ❤️ even if he's trying to atone i'm glad that u stuck with the idea that izumi doesn't have to forgive him because she doesn't! u never have to forgive the people that hurt u. also the fact that touya returned izumi's medal to her and it resolved some of her insecurities on being a hero really solidified my love for the way u write the todorokis

BITW also made me mf BAWL the relationship between toga and twice and izumi was so so so good and it's easily one of my favorite league fics!! it humanizes them so well and really sends forth the message of the world within bnha not being as black and white as many fans may think. toga and izumi being bts fans of all things was so cute and it rlly shows just how human they are with their own hobbies and interests outside of being a hero or a villain. showcasing all might's failures as a mentor was also greatly appreciated and i love the subplots with all the students. u ignited a newfound love for momo within me and got me thinking abt uraraka with more respect than i have before. girlbosses everywhere so true !!!

ok i'm gonna stop now bc this is getting way too long also sorry this feels like it was super all over the place but i just wanted to say u don't have to reply to this i just rlly needed to get all my feelings out so i can go back to playing stardew without feeling restless. thank u for ur work !!! i'm excited to read any further updates from u :>

Hello!! I've likely reread this a million times by now, so thank you for sending it. WHD does take me a bit longer to write these days because I want to pay particular attention to how Touya's story plays out and often that ends up holding a lot more weight than I expect, but it always lightens the load when I remember how much it means to my readers.

Having a lot of siblings actually makes the Todorokis so easy to write--it's often the other characters that Izumi interacts with that are harder to write. Shouto particularly is my favorite and comes to me a lot easier than people like Bakugou and Midoriya.

Tbh, BITW is something I wish I had done as a long-fix rather than a short one-shot, but I was and am happy with how it turned out, so thank you go enjoying it and letting me know how much you enjoyed it.

Here's to lots more chapters and more of Izumi in the future. I hope you had fun playing Stardew and I hope that your eyes have recovered from the strain (thank you for being so dedicated and going through that long journey!) ❤️❤️

Momo feels upset that she has to hide this from him, but she'd rather go through it all again than risk Mellow getting hurt...

"I-I'm... I'm ok-kay... R-Really..." He struggles not to cry in front of Mellow.

"Momo... You know if something's wrong you can t-tell me..."

But Momo didn't want to tell him, Dallas already made it clear that there will be consequences... It was all because Dallas was jealous that Momo was starting to be friends with more people, after all, lots of people think Momo's cute in a way.

Dallas couldn't stand it, so he had resorted to violently picking on her, asking him what he'd do if it was someone else doing it to them. He called them weak, pathetic, hopeless...

Now she kind of feels like she's proving his point, but again, she'd rather not risk Mellow.

This takes place after b12 saves everyone

“Poor kitty” you said out loud, watch the poor cat cuddle the most likely dead b12, a single tear goes down your face. Doc, standing behind you, walks up to the cat and slowly takes b12. “I think i can fix them..” doc said, the translator on your arm, no longer working. But there was no need for it, since you learned the language long ago. Momo silently watching doc pick up b12, sad. At the fact that b12 died. Sad at the fact that b12 had to sacrifice themselves for the robots. “Hey, it’s alright. Doc said he can probably fix them” you say hopefully, putting a hand on momos shoulder. “I dont…i don’t think I wanna be here anymore.” Momo said sadly, walking away, presumably to his apartment.

You remember, you had a Nintendo. Or found one, it wasn’t really yours. But you do remember it! You quickly leave. With a very small “goodbye” and had left to find it. It was in mid-town, you found it whilst following the cat. You walk around mid-town, watching everyone look at the sky, and realize that there is an outside. It was beautiful, but you had a mission. To get the Nintendo switch and make your friend feel better! You start to run quickly, trying to find the Nintendo. “Looking for this?” You turn around and see clementine, holding the Nintendo. “Clementine! Wait- how did you get here? Weren’t you with doc?” You ask, curiously. “I followed you- that doesn’t matter, just get this to Momo and make him feel better!” Clementine says quickly, handing you the Nintendo.

You grab it, “thanks Clem, I’ll have to repay you some day!” You say whilst running to the slums. “That kids gonna make it far” clementine says smiling. You were already at Momos apartment looking for him, “Momo!” You yell into his apartment, “over here..” you hear him say. You walk to towards him, holding the Nintendo. “Hey…i brought a game we can play,” you say to him, smiling sadly, “it’s a Nintendo, we can play Mario kart!” “Mar-Mario kart..?”

“Yea!” You say cheerfully. You sit down next to him, opening the Nintendo and placing it on tissue box to see the screen, giving the blue controller to him. “ to hop, press R/SR, and to look behind press X/Y” you slowly explain the concept and controls. “Ok, let’s play now!” You said happily, Momo joining in. “Yea!”

The rest is history of Momo beating your a$$ in Mario kart, but it was quite alright, cause the look of happiness on his face/screen was all that mattered…

I LOVE THAT TROPE TOO not to. sing myself praises but. i adore the trope yet i find that i can rarely read it bc i also usually cant stand readers being too much of a dumbass? at a certain point im like ok ur just stupid bye KJHBASDF its a careful tightrope is what i mean, but when i find fics i like that utilize that trope i rlly adore them (pspsps on that note..... if u havent already, check out @andypantsx3's unconventional, its also a deku fic with that trope and she's just announced that the last part is coming over the weekend!) and i figured fuck it, if i want something done a specific way, well, im an author i gotta do it myself LMFAOOO

midoriya's merch was inspired by a number of things! firstly, @ofmermaidstories' deku fic something (just like this) on ao3, where deku's first appearance is in a shouto hoodie like the one described in mine and a froppy hat—a similar meeting where the reader doesnt know he's the Deku! that scene in merm's is inspired in turn by this art by @/min-min-minnie. Aside from the shouto hoodie which connects all three works, the merch i described all came from my lil noggin LMFAO i felt like wearing hero merch in particular would throw anyone off the scent of that-cute-hero-fan-over-there being Deku, Number One Hero; plus its just. adorable as hell and totally in-character bc at his core deku is still the biggest fanboy of all his friends. there r a few obvious choices: headphones for jirou, a fancy watch for momo, umbrella for tsu. i think my choices for those were p obvious! the rest were more standard merch choices (tho the clear umbrella was just bc those r rlly popular in animes and i thought it was funny LMFAO)

the cufflinks came about bc there was originally gonna be a longer scene where he comes in in a suit and the reader has a "oh no hes hot" moment, and then teases him about having to put away the hero merch for a day—only for him to expose himself for having spent a small fortune on a pair of limited edition all might cufflinks that were made wrong (queue the reader going on no hes hot and rich im screwed KJAHBF). i ended up cutting it (tbh i cut a lot from Talk Too Much, bc i wanted to get it out by his birthday and so i ended up breezing over a lot of the cutesy slow burn scenes...... i make up for it in the final scene tho, never said this but that bit where he kneels and then kisses the reader's knee...... still gets me, as arrogant as it sounds 😳 i think its one of the hottest things ive written) but rest assured that still occurred in canon. if u want me to go into detail, i imagined them as being a collab with some luxury company, a limited run with only a few (like fifty or a hundred) made and like fifteen being made incorrectly—they'd have all might's chest design on them, and the incorrectly made ones have the red & blue mixed up. there was a lil story abt how deku hunted for them, found a set with the correct coloring at an online auction and almost got them only to be outbid at the last moment, and then managed to come across a different set with the wrong coloring (the more expensive version, as is usually the case for collectors) at a random thrift shop. and gave the owner the amount he originally bid with, bc hes deku KJAHBSD OK THAT WAS A LOT i promise im done
