Undyne is the head of the royal guard who is a really extreme, fight first ask questions later type of person and Alphys is the royal scientist that in trying to help the underground did some really horrific shit but is really awkward and a massive wet cat of a women. Basically imagine the sort of ship of badass woman plus a really pathetic guy but instead of being a guy it’s a bisexual disaster lady that did some really unethical experiments in a attempt to help people Their first meeting is Undyne, possibly unknowingly stopping Alphys from committing suicide from the guilt of what she done, and giving her something to hold onto everyday and like, Undyne sees her as one of the people to protect and be strong for and I’m just!!!! The two of them just work so well together despite being in different sorts of worlds

The Beating Heart Bride X The Hatbox Ghost (Heartbox) - Disney’s Haunted Mansion

These two don't have one canon personality (the HM franchise, the lore and its characters have the particularily to change in every adaptation) and in her case not one design (though I love her faceless bright eyed shadowy look, creepier and less human) and Disney tries to make us believe she never existed or is the Black Widow Bride, all I know is that back then the Beating Heart Bride aka Emily and the Hatbox Ghost were canonically groom and bride haunting the attic together and their gigs worked together. The potential of a romance between such creepy odd looking ghosts with the taller younger woman and the smaller older man always fascinated me and sounds much more interesting than the other adaptations that depict her with Mr Prettyface Ghost (Master Gracey)

Frankelda x Herneval - Los sustos ocultos de Frankelda / Frankelda's book of spooks

They are the custest. Herneval has known Francisca ever since they were both children and saw how much potential she had, he even helped and supported her writing career when no one else did. Francisca followed Herneval and became her main story writer to help his kingdom become more powerful. She also loves Herneval all the same even if he is cursed to look like an old mossy gremlin book instead of the handsome harpy prince she met all those years ago. Herneval is protective of Francisca and tries to protect her even from herself. They both are willing to sacrifice themselves for each other, Herneval is willing to spend an eternity cursed if that means he can spend it with Francisca, and Francisca is willing to lose her liberty if that means Herneval isn't alone.

Jonny d'Ville, Ashes O'Reilly, DrumBot Brian, Gunpowder Tim, Raphaella la Cognizi, Marius von Raum, Ivy Alexandria, Nastya Rasputina (Polymechs) - The mechanisms

So they are all aliens to each other. They are also like canon found family, and are immortal. I love this ship because the nine of them deserve happiness and some love because they are doomed to have heartache in their lives. They spend so much time together and will die alone and while they are together I think they should kiss.

Captain K. P. Hob x Delloso de la Rue (Hobrue) - Dimension 20, season 15: A Court of Fey and Flowers

Starts out as a star-crossed, Beauty-and-the-Beast-style romance between a very animalistic, awkwardly formal, military man—well, goblin (Captain Hob) and a very elfen-esque Master of Ceremonies (Rue), who’s busy with the job of hosting the huge, politically important party they just put together, and is also technically a member of another royal court. SPOILERS: Turns out Rue is an owlbear under their glamour, aka just as massive and animalistic as Hob. Both of them really love the other’s body specifically because it looks like theirs rather than fitting in with the traditional fey standards of beauty, so they’re lowkey serving t4t-vibes, despite existing in a setting where there are zero social expectations around gender. Technically they’d be a monster x monster pairing no matter what, as they’re both fey, but the fact that they both stick out even among the extreme visual variety of the fey people, and very much feel the weight of that exclusion, really makes them a monster x monster pairing in spirit too.

SkekGra X UrGoh (GraGoh) - The Dark Crystal Age of Resistance

They literally are each other's halves. No really. They used to b a whole being named GraGoh and split as two separate beings and now want to be joined into one again. So in the meantime they live together like an old married couple. Bickering and trolling, taking drugs, with the same passion for theatre and puppetry, going against their species' philosophies to be joined again (SkekGra is the only Skeksis in the whole franchise to have redeemed himself and live like an UrRu alongside UrGoh and was banished for that, and said Urgoh does not exactly follows the Mystic way either). They even have a rock gollem son. They long for each other and seem to want to hug and their one goal is to essentially hug further forever

They are so sweet, they love each other, they sing together, Asmodeus would destroy all of Hell to protect Fizz and he's the most supportive boyfriend even when Fizz is scared of losing him, their relationship is Hell's worst kept secret.

Taranza x Sectonia – Kirby

At first, the two were inseparable. Taranza gave Sectonia a mirror, so she could see how lovely she looked. But the mirror was cursed, slowly consuming her mind and corrupting her into a vain and cold tyrant, enslaving the flower people and setting her sights beyond the dreamstalk. Taranza tried to help. He ran interference so he could stop dreamland’s hero from thwarting her plans…but he made a mistake, and she cast him aside. Sectonia would have felt bad…but it seems she was no longer there. The curse of the mirror had claimed her completely. Taranza helped Kirby and Dedede defeat her…but he was left without his friend. It’s a loss that still sticks with him. He can summon Sectonia’s spirit to help him in battle, but just as quickly as she appears, she’s gone again, a reminder of the tragedy that has befallen these two.

I adore Rocket and Groot’s relationship. They’re just two weird outcasted creatures of the Marvel universe who found each-other and had each others backs when the whole rest of the galaxy treated them like freaks. They don’t get along all the time and can have their (old married couple energy) arguments, but at the end of it all you can tell they care about one another, even if Rocket is to emotionally stunted for his own good to admit it out loud most of the time. They also have a ton of sweet moments together, from Rocket going through the trouble of traveling to earth, a planet he hates, just so Groot can be happy and (mild spoiler) reunite with an old friend of his in the 2015 Groot comic series, to them going on a beach vacation together in the Rocket Raccoon comics, to Rocket Having an I ♥️ Trees mug in Marvel’s Rocket & Groot Cartoon, to Groot and Rocket straight up saying “I love you” to eachother in the Guardians: Grounded comic, the Gotg Eidos game, and the Telltale game etc. (which now that I think about it, I think rocket has probably said “I Love You” to Groot in most gotg related media more times combined than he has to any of his canon female love interests… so do with that info waht you will…). I could go on, really. Tbh, I do slightly prefer and love Groot and Rocket’s close platonic friendship as is, but I would be lying if I didn’t believe there’s at least more than one universe in the Marvel multiverse where they’re married.

Ebrietas is a god-like otherworldly being of immense power, alien and unknowable. Rom was a human uplifted to be Ebrietas' equal. When Rom is slain, Ebrietas can be found mourning her at the Altar of Despair - one of THE most emotional moments in a game that deconstructs the themes of Lovecraftian horror. Ebrietas' sorrow over losing Rom invites the player to find compassion for the monstrous, to relate to the "other" - what's more thematically relevant for a monster bracket than that? Now imagine if they were LESBIANS.

Yeto/Yeta - The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Yeto is a large yeti who likes fishing, forgetting his inside voice, and making soup. What does he love? HIS WIFE! Yeta is a sickly yeti who finds herself worshipping a cursed mirror shard. What does she love? HER HUSBAND! These two are the entire narrative behind the ice manor, as Link tries to get into the bedroom but ends up just finding a bunch of soup ingredients (it’s good soup though). Yeta ends up transforming into the boss, but once she’s beaten, Yeto tosses Link aside to check on her. He says she doesn’t need the mirror shard to see how pretty she is, as she can see herself in the reflection of his eyes. Once a boss is beaten, they’ll drop a heart container for Link. Yeta doesn’t do that, and instead she and Yeto spawn one themselves (as well as dozens of smaller recovery hearts) by embracing each other. Couple goals for real.
