Today was a day for parent-teacher interviews and oh my goodness, she was so excited! I slowly introduced legumes to my daughter at an early age so she gets used to it.She now eats any kind of beans and loves them & have no problem (whatsoever😁)with them. Some kids are more fussy than others so the good news is: there are MANY delicious ways to make your kids(and yourself)eat more beans simply because: beans are SO good for you!They’re a good supply of proteins,good source of vitamins like vitamin A,vitamin C, folate,high amount of dietary fiber,supply of antioxidants and supply of essential minerals like calcium, iron,phosphorous,potassium, magnesium,sodium and zinc. I mean: 🙌🏻🙌🏻 There are so many kind of beans too.You can use them to make dips,soups,salads veggie burgers they can also easily replace meats & flour(see my previous chocolate brownie post for recipe) Just add a few beans in the blender next time you’re making soup 😉 ◽️◽️◽️ Mon “Chili Con Carne"bio approuvé par ma fille! 🙌🏻 Vos enfants mange t'il des légumineuses? Du moins est ce qu'ils aiment ça? J'ai commencé à donner des légumineuses à ma fille un peu après qu'elle ait commencé à manger. Progressivement en purée, puis en morceaux et finalement entier et introduits dans des recettes. Maintenant elle les adore! Certains enfants sont plus difficiles que d'autres mais la bonne nouvelle c'est qu'il y existe pleins de façons de faire manger des "beans” à vos enfants (et vous même)🙌🏻 parce que tout simplement: les légumineuses sont excellentes pour la santé! Ils sont riches en protéines, en fibres, antioxydants, en Vitamines C, A, acide folique (excellent pour les femmes enceintes) et minéraux comme le calcium, fer, phosphore, potassium, magnésium, sodium & zinc. Sérieux!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 De plus, il existe pleins de sorte de légumineuses, on peut en faire des trempettes, des soupes, des salades, des burgers végé car ils peuvent remplacer la viande dans une recette grâce à leur apport en protéines et fer ou même de la farine dans les gâteaux(voir ma recette de brownie) Alors la prochaine fois que vous faites une soupe ou une salade par exemple ajoutez-y une bonne poignée de légumineuses😉
