So quick question, so I'm panning ochako from bnha and was wondering your recommendation for what to wear under the suit to give a nicer shape. Also I mainly buy wigs from arda and was wondering if you could recommend a few other sites, would be even more helpful if they would be nice for ochako. Like I've never bought from other sellers because I hear stories that stock photos don't always match the item you receive or not as thick as arda wigs
Charissa Kids on ebay is actually a fav of mine, and way cheaper then Arda. EpicCosplay Wigs is a USA seller with a good rep.
A full body shaper is great for super suits. wear it OVER your underwear and bra to smooth out panty lines. Heres a cheap one thats not too tight!

Six months later
You always knew the risks in running away with Harry.
You knew that someone from the castle could pop up at any time, forcibly take Harry back, and maybe even arrest you for whatever charge they wanted in leaving with him. You knew that people around the kingdom would see him and know who he was, and that was why you got as far away as you possibly could.
The only thing Harry had known his whole life was his kingdom, and you weren't at all surprised to wake up in the middle of the night some nights to find him sitting by the window of the dingy motel you'd been staying at, looking out into that kingdom. You didn't doubt that he missed his home – you found yourself missing it on occasion – but he constantly assured you that he was happy where he was now with you, and you believed him.
So when someone from the castle showed up at your motel room door, your heart sank.
You were standing behind Harry when he answered the knock – he insisted he be the one to answer it because no one ever knocked on your door and he didn't want anything happening to you. Both of you lost your breath upon seeing the Captain of the Guard standing there, him breathing his own sigh of relief.
"Your Highness," the Captain said, "The entire kingdom has been looking everywhere for you."
"Martin..." Harry trailed off in shock, "How... How did you find me?" He stepped outside with the intent of you staying behind, but you didn't – the moment he was crossing the threshold, so were you. You closed the door behind you, still standing behind Harry, but you and Martin could still see each other as well.
"Princess Eloise has men scouring the kingdom and those surrounding it looking for you," Martin explained, "One of them returned to the castle late last night and said that he thought he found you. The Queen sent me to follow up on it. I've been ordered to bring you back," he informed him. You let out the softest sob that you immediately cut off, but it was too late: Harry already heard it.
"Y/N, don't-" Harry started before he stopped himself as you stepped away, back toward the door. He quickly grabbed your hand, however, keeping you from actually going inside. "Can I at least say goodbye to her?" Harry asked the Captain.
Martin opened his mouth but didn't even get a word out as Harry was already pulling you into him for a tight hug. The Captain sighed, stepping away and going back to the car while you and Harry had what was quite possibly going to be your last moment together.
It was silent between you two for a few seconds as Harry just looked at you. He was trying to come up with something – anything – to say to you that would make the heartbreaking look on your face disappear, but he knew nothing would be enough. You breathed in shakily, a small, forced smile on your face.
"Always knew they'd find you," you said softly.
Harry exhaled sharply, bringing his hands up to your cheeks. Your own hands came up and gripped his wrists tightly, knowing that this may very well be the last time you'd ever get to touch him.
"I'm sorry," he shook his head, swallowing thickly, "I should have planned on them finding me... I should have prepared better..."
"S'not your fault," you reminded him. You were interrupted by Martin coming back over.
"Your Highness-" he started before he was cut off.
"I'm not done yet, Martin," Harry said sternly, and something about his tone made your eyes start to water.
"I love you, H..." you choked, making Harry smile sadly.
"Hey," he said, his thumb stroking your cheekbone, "You're gonna be fine. You know I'll always find my way back to you."
"Your-" Martin was cut off again.
"Martin, please," Harry sighed. But the Captain was done being interrupted.
"I was just going to say that you guys should probably leave to somewhere farther away," Martin told the two of you. You were understandably confused by the statement, both of your expressions showing that as you looked at him.
"What?" Harry furrowed his eyebrows.
"Well, I can't imagine the Princess will just accept me saying that the man her men saw wasn't you after all and knowing her, she'll probably come looking for you herself," he shrugged, "So I think it would be best if you two got as far away as possible." Martin then pulled something out of his pocket. "Here," he said, handing Harry an envelope, "I figured you might need this." He released his hold on you to open it, finding it stuffed full with twenty-dollar bills. You couldn't keep yourself from smiling slightly in realization as you looked back up at him.
"You weren't actually going to take him back, were you?" you asked.
"I said I was ordered to; I didn't say I was going to," Martin laughed loudly, "I hate that girl as much as you do."
"Then why can't you guys just kick her out or something?" Harry asked.
"Have you met your mother?" you and the Captain asked in unison, laughing when you both finished your sentences. Harry simply smiled, shaking his head.
"I'll do everything I can to get her out," Martin sighed, "And if I do, I'll find a way back to wherever you two end up someday. But until then, I just want you to be happy as far away from all this and Princess Eloise as you can get."
You both looked at him for a moment before you threw your arms around his waist and hugging him tightly. You felt him chuckle softly, wrapping his arms around you as well.
"And quite frankly, you two are idiots for not taking any money with you," he added, making you and Harry laugh again.
"We took what I had on me!" Harry defended with a chuckle, "We had to leave fast!"
"And now, you have to leave fast again," Martin reminded you, "Stay safe, you two. I hope to see you again with good news."
"Thank you, Martin," Harry grinned. The Captain smiled and nodded before getting back into his car and heading back to the castle. He took a slow, sharp breath in, turning back to you. "Guess we better pack...again," he sighed, remembering how annoying it was the first time around. You barely giggled, allowing Harry to take your hand and lead you back inside your house.
~
Two hours later
After finishing packing your stuff, you went into the living room to sit down and rest while Harry finished his own packing. You were no doubt exhausted, but you were incredibly grateful that Martin hadn't followed his orders and forced Harry to go back to the castle with him.
Harry came into the room not long after you'd sat down, leaning against the wall at the end of the hallway. He just watched you for a moment – you didn't even know he was there – and he couldn't help but feel his heart swell up as he thought about the fact that you were actually here with him. He cleared his throat after a couple more seconds, making you jump slightly and look over at him.
"So..." Harry trailed off cheekily, and you knew what was coming next, "You love me, huh?" You didn't say anything – just looked back down at your lap shyly and played with your fingers.
Harry smiled to himself, coming over to you. He knelt down on the floor in front of you and put his hands on your cheeks, forcing you to look up at him.
"That's good, y'know," he murmured as you looked at him curiously, "'Cause I've loved you for a pretty long time too." Due to how close he was, he could hear your breathing hitch, making him smile again. "Y/N," he said softly, his thumbs stroking your cheekbones, "Can I kiss you?" But you didn't even give him an answer, quickly leaning in yourself and pressing your lips to his.
You felt him smile into the kiss as he sat more upright on his knees, leaning forward onto the couch. His hands slid off your cheeks and down your neck and arms until they stopped on your hips. Your own hands moved to his hair, your fingers running through it while also keeping him in place.
"I love you," he murmured into your mouth, "M'glad you agreed to run away with me." You let him feel you smile just before pulling away, still winding his curls around your fingers gently.
"I'd go anywhere with you, H," you reminded him of what you'd said the very first time he brought up the idea of leaving royalty behind. Harry grinned brightly, pecking your lips again. "And speaking of going anywhere..." you said in a teasing tone, "Where to now, Your Highness?"
"Doesn't matter where we go as long as I'm with you," Harry replied cheesily.

Chapter Twenty-Six: Cutthroat
The driveway was empty; you feel cold and guilty and everything in between.  You had seen it in Clint’s eye – your words had gotten to him and you were afraid you had made things even worse. There was nothing left to do but go inside and wait for Bucky to get home. You walked inside and felt an odd urge to pick up the phone and call Natasha. But it seems like forever since the last time you had seen her and told her not to come around – another regretful notch for your bed post.
You walked into the living room and sat down, fidgeting with the remote and pretending everything was okay until your cell rang. The caller ID flashed Tony’s name, grateful for the distraction, you picked it up and greeted the man with a false uplifting tone. Of course, he saw right through that and called you out on it.
“Did you install cameras in my house?”
“No.”  He laughed but it faded as soon as it arrived. You asked what was going on and he cleared his throat. “I got some bad news, kid. Clint’s lawyers called mine.”
“He was literally just here….”
“He showed up announced.” Tony repeated but it wasn’t directed to you – someone else was with him. “I’m going to put Pepper on the call, okay?”
Agreeing, you greeted her when she said hello. “How are you feeling?”
“Good,” you answered. “I’m due in less than 10 days, so all this drama is doing wonders for my stress level.”
Pepper sighed. “That’s exactly what we don’t want to happen, so the lawyers and I came up with a solution, but I have to tell you – it’s a difficult one.”
What could be more difficult than being confronted by the wife of your unborn child’s father? Or losing your best friend because of your adultery? Or having a screaming match with Clint in front of the whole neighborhood? Knowing you could not do anything to change any of it and all at once, not wanting to change it.
“I’m a big girl,” you finally said, feeling prepared for whatever the options the lawyers and Pepper had come up with. “I’ll do anything to have some quiet for as long as I can get it.”
“Shit,” Tony groaned. “Rhodey is hounding my cell; I’ll leave you two to it.”
He hung up his end and Pepper exhaled. “He won’t tell you this but this whole situation has gotten to him. He loves you and wants the best, and he will fight on your side but….”
“…. this situation has already divided the team.”
She paused before saying yes but quickly adding that it was not your concern. “That can all be dealt with eventually, right now we want to make sure you’ll have some peace when the baby arrives.”
Willing away tears, you asked what needed to be done and she explained it all; you were going to contest the paternity of the baby. Maybe you slept with someone else around the same time as the affair with Clint, you will tell the court you are not sure and that you would like a paternity test to make sure. Since your due date is around the corner, the lawyers will petition for a DNA a week after the baby is born.
“It will allow the lawyers time to draft up a solid custody agreement and build a case if Clint wants to take things to court.”
“A custody fight?” The words came out of your mouth in a jumbled whisper and Pepper assured you that everything would be fine, especially in your case.
“Courts tend to favor the mother and your situation is ideal.” You asked what she meant by that and she explained that Bucky and you had created a stable home for your child. “Clint is still an Avenger, you two hung up the capes months ago to raise the baby. He will not be granted full custody if he can’t stay home for more than a few weeks at a time.”
It was true; Clint had more reason than the rest of the team to retire and he had not. He kept his family secret for a long time and even after everyone found out, he still was out avenging with the rest of us. You felt like you were betraying him, but you need for security was hungrier than the need to do the right thing. A maternal feeling had rushed over you and you would do anything to make sure your son would be in your arms and home with you. Clint had his family; you were fighting for yours. Speaking of, you resisted mentioning that Bucky and you had eloped. With everything that was going on, you weren’t sure adding that information right now would be best. It wasn’t like you were hiding it but the thought of hurting Pepper and Tony, especially Steve, with the news was too much for you. You knew those three specifically would have wanted to come – even Natasha, but you couldn’t think of that or her right now.
“I’ll do it,” you breathed out, desperate to make it all go away. “I’ll do it, do I need to go out there to sign papers?”
“Not necessary; I’ll fly out an assistant with all the paperwork tomorrow. They will come by and everything will be done in minutes. The lawyers will submit it to the courts and have it expedited – courtesy of one Tony Stark.”
“It pays to know the guy, doesn’t it?”
Pepper laughed, it was sharp but light and it lifted the tension from the air. “Try being married to him.”
“I’ll pray for you,” you joked.
“Please,” she plead. “Oh, also, you can’t have connected with Clint. We are adding a no contact order, he cannot be showing up at the house like he did today. You are nine months pregnant; it is dangerous to have you so stressed out. The lawyers can use that against him – if he truly is the father, why would he risk putting you into early labor like that? I can have them document that if you want?”
It was terrifying to hear Pepper so direct and cutthroat, but you suppose that was why she was the CEO of Stark Industries and not Tony. You were glad to have her on your team and you were starting to think the two Starks were in first place for god parenthood.
“No, don’t, it’s fine.” It felt like the least you could do, considering Clint was going to be taking another blow to the groin. “Thank you, Pepper, sincerely.”
“Anything for you, kid.”
“Tony tell you to say that?”
She groaned. “He did.”
Sharing a laugh, the two of you said goodbye and hung up. Tossing the cell down onto the sofa cushion, you leaned back and rubbed a hand over your stomach. It was going to be tough to ignore Clint’s calls, which most likely would be coming soon. It was a bit nerve wrecking knowing he was still in the city unbeknownst to what had just occurred but then you glanced down at the ring on your finger and thought of Bucky. With that, it was all gone; the guilt and worry, because in the end, even if everything went up in flames, you’d still have him.

Tumblr media
Hey everyone. I really hope you all have had an okay month. You may have noticed, I’ve been a bit absent these past few weeks. Luckily, my queue is set up for nearly a month in advance. I want to make sure you are all okay and staying safe. I’m in isolation right now and trying to get my school work done. I don’t have much more to do, but hopefully, I can finish, and then maybe I’ll be able to get back into writing; it’s not like I don’t have the time.
It seems like this month was taken up by one of my favourite tv shows/series of shows: One Chicago (Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD), with the majority belonging to Jay Halstead from PD. I really like this series and the interconnected plotlines, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for something to watch.
Take a look at some talented authors and the fantastic work they’ve done. Great job, everyone.

“It isn’t simple”.
“None of this is Sam”. Grizz sat in the wheelie chair near his desk. Sam leaned against the entrance of the doorway to try and respect Grizz’s space.
“She’s all I’ve had. I’ve always needed her, this time she needed me”.
Grizz gave a nod but was barely giving Sam eye contact, knowing that his anger would dissipate the second he looked at the ginger-haired boy in front of him.
Sam walked to the bed to sit, as Grizz’s feet wrestled with each other, a nervous tick he had. His lips pursed as he tried to keep composure, watching Sam set his brown jacket down on a table, “I know she needs you”.
Silence lingered between the both of them as guilt-racked Sam even more, as he gave more thought to what he wanted to say. “Growing up, my parents only learned to sign a little. Not enough…not much to know me. Becca, she’s always been there for me”.
“At least you had someone, someone to be you with”, Grizz gave reflection to his own relationship with his parents.
Sam nodded, “She’s the person who knows everything about me. I wanted to tell her about you…”.
“Were you going to…before I found out?”.
Sam nodded, “I wasn’t sure if that was what you wanted…you aren’t…”.
“I’m not out, no. Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t if it meant…”. While they were only a few feet apart, their words made them feel like they had too much space between one another.
“She needed to relax, to focus on the baby…on Eden”.
“This place isn’t exactly stress-free”. Sam laughed at Grizz’s words.
“I just…I promised her. That I would be there for this baby”. Sam resisted letting a tear fall.
“Well, of course, you would be…”, Grizz looked at Sam’s state, as he seemed defeated. “Sam…”, Grizz noticed how Sam was trying to resist making eye contact.
Sam looked up, knowing that his eyes were telling more than he wanted.
“Are you…the baby’s father?”.
Sam gave a breath, finding courage in his words. “The second Eden was born, I was her father. And that isn’t changing”.
“That’s not what I asked”.
“I promised her. She needed someone and I didn’t think that I….that someone like you…”.
“Sam”, Grizz gave a touch to Sam’s knee out of reassurance. “Are you the father?”.
“You were the first person I was ever…with…”, Sam’s hands made a motion of two fists with his thumbs pointing upwards - knowing that Grizz understood him.
“Why would you…”, the space between them felt bigger again, “you lied to me”.
“I promised her okay?”, Sam’s voice got a little louder. “A promise means everything to me, especially in a place like this. We don’t have much else”. He became defensive in his words.
“Do you know who Eden’s…do you know who Becca…”, Grizz pushed the right side of his dark locks behind his ear. His arms now on his legs, facing towards Sam.
Sam shook his head, “She won’t tell me”. Sam gave thought to the last 7 months in New Ham - recalling any moment where the topic came up. “I think, something happened to her. She’s worrying me…that someone….”, Sam’s words lingered as he didn’t want to finish his thought out loud.
A long pause interjected them as Sam tried to get the worse thoughts out of his mind. Grizz reflected, trying to figure out if he would have done anything different in Sam’s shoes.
Grizz gave a nod, “okay”.
“Okay, what?”. Sam eye’s locked with Grizz’s now.
“She is the only person you could trust here, and the same went for her”.
Sam nodded.
“But what do you want now?”, Grizz swallowed his pride as he neglected to even blink with Sam’s face closer to his.
“I’m Eden’s father, nothing will change that”, Sam made sure his words were concrete.
“I understand that. But, what do you want?”, Grizz bit his lip out of nervousness.
“Before you - I didn’t think anyone would be possible for someone like me…”. Sam’s face became sullen again. “I’ve grown up here my entire life, and no one saw me like that. I didn’t think that would change here… it’s why I said yes to her”.
“And now?”, Grizz swallowed a large breath.
“I want you, but I don’t want you to feel obligated or pressured to be a part of something that I signed up for”. Sam’s hands clenched one another, anticipating a response from Grizz.
Grizz looked up and met Sam’s eyes, thinking over and over again of the last few weeks.
Sam saw the nervousness, recalling when he saw it the last time, “I want to be me, but with you…”.
Sam had hope in his eyes but didn’t smile until Grizz’s cheeks finally went up. A sniffle was released from Grizz as the last thing he wanted was to shed a tear.
His large hands reached over to the freckled ones before him. “I want you too…”.
Sam nodded but gave another pause, “I understand if you can’t because of everything. It’s too much to ask someone”.
Grizz shook his head. “She asked it of you because you care for her, you’re asking it of me now”.
Sam dawned on the words, worried that he was losing him, again. He let his hands go from Grizz’s.
Grizz quickly grabbed Sam’s right hand again. “I care about you to”. Grizz gave a small chuckle to his easy smile.
“I’m asking this”, Sam motioned with his left hand as his right was occupied, “because I love you”.
Grizz sat there a little stunned. His hands felt clammy all of a sudden, the moment between them feeling like it could last forever. His dimples went up to the right side of his mouth, all the while bringing Sam to him closer, his hand going to his cheek to bring him in. Lips interlocked as Grizz could feel a tear coming down Sam’s face, he didn’t care as their lips were becoming intertwined again.
The movement between them felt natural, Grizz letting his tongue into a gasped breath of Sam’s - his hand going to the freckled neck of Sam. Grizz got up from his seat slowly, moving Sam with him to be more on the bed. A pang of hunger began to rise in Sam, his feelings of guilt being let go in the moment. His hands moved to Grizz’s cheeks after Grizz broke too quickly to take off his hoodie, letting it land wherever it wanted. Sam moved his head up towards the headboard, Grizz pulling at Sam’s shirt to take the layer off.
Grizz’s hair went into his face, but he didn’t care as his eyes kept shut as his lips went to Sam’s neck - all the while words going through his mind like a record. He stopped in his movements, even though something in him ached.
Sam gave a confused look to Grizz as he caught his breath.
Grizz moved back a little, making sure Sam could see his hand movements. “I love you too”.
Sam’s face brightened with a smile, lips becoming intertwined again.

My Dear Husband
Pairing: Michael Langdon x Reader
Words: 1.6k
Summary: Reader is married and is unaware of her husband’s true identity, until the end confronts her with the truth about the Antichrist.
Warning: angst, fluff, short time jump (***)
REQUESTED BY - @stxrmkatie
A/N - Hope you enjoy this read love, sorry the wait xox
Tumblr media
The Antichrist, the Apocalypse was all too much to take in. The idea that someone was created with their sole “purpose” to destroy humanity, was hard to comprehend… And yet here you stood, a fellow survivor, a fellow witch.
This so called Antichrist, had you never met, somehow left you fearful. It was daunting to know that the fate of mankind, rested in the shoulders of the Coven, was a hefty responsibility, even for you.
Yet a part of you raged with anger… This so called Antichrist, had presumably killed your husband, the love of your life.
You say presumably, well because, your husband had been absent from your side before the Apocalypse: away for a ‘business’ trip. Without knowledge of what was to come, it was too late, when Cordelia had finally sought you out and had confided in you.
It was long since you’d left the Coven, wanting nothing more than to live out your own independent life, that was, until you’d met him.
Since having left the Coven, your powers had degraded: no longer being used with consistency nor challenge, you felt yourself weaken.
And yet, if that was the sacrifice you were willing to take for the sake of love, you had no regrets in doing so.
You’d fallen so insanely in love, you cherished and supported him always and would love him from then on. In return, he told you who he was, his true nature: a warlock. You were thankful for that, the acceptance and openness, and you had loved him for that.
And yet, unfortunately, you were in mourning.
You lost him to the uncontrollable clutches of this so called Antichrist. The one everyone had feared, the one that everyone had come face to face with. Hearing their encounters with him was chilling and all too daunting.
And yet there you stood, swearing to protect the rite of the Coven and to preserve what was left of humanity, all in the name of seeking vengeance, despite your weakened state.
***
It was the greatest relief having finally returned from beyond the grave. The extremity of no fresh air, the stench of swamp soil and insects that lay beneath was excruciating, yet worth what was to come.
Although, the greatest pleasure remained for last, having walked through the gates of what used to be a warlock school, the same one your husband had attended, the many times he had recalled his memories there.
He loved it here, he appreciated the company and most of all the undying union between them all. It was emotional, walking through a remnant of your husband’s past, and yet still your anger was your resilience.
You were determined to seek justice no matter the costs.
***
Finding your sisters, the sisters of the Coven, was in no stretch difficult. A few summoning spells had done the trick, and all 3 had been found almost instantly, and in no time had they been revived. You looked at each, the only familiar face was Dinah, and yet you were compelled to know that she was unworthy of your trust. The betrayal of her had stung, she was an past companion of yours, and you felt at this point in time, with everything that had happened, you were most infuriated towards those who helped to wreak havoc. You couldn’t help but stare, at the woman who helped such an inhumane person kill not only your husband, but the innocent lives who were defenceless against his wrath.
“You think you can defeat me, when I’ve already won?”
That voice, that damned voice: the devastation in your body showered over you in no time. It stung, it ached like never before in the pit of your stomach.
It was Michael: and the sheer unexpectedness of it caused you to grow sick, revolting at the idea that the love of your life, the man you married and swore to love till death do you part, was the Antichrist himself.
How oblivious could you have been? How blind could you have been, to not realise that it was Michael all along?
He’d kept it so well hidden from you, so discrete about his movements, and the thought of deceit pained you like no other.
You remained still, frozen by the revelation, you couldn't bear turning around to confront reality.
Your eyes immediately swelled with tears, your body remained rigid from fear.
The thought that you’d loved him, the entirety of this time, and the fact that he had left you to perish under his notice, was gut-wrenching beyond any emotional pain you’d ever felt.
The ignition of your anger, revolted through you, as the chattering and arguing surrounding you, simply sounded all too muffled. Your head gradually turned, instantly spotting the familiar figure of your husband.
He was alive, and yet it seemed he had no intention of seeking you out.
His eyes immediately fell onto you, and you could sense how shocked he’d become. Perplexed by your sheer presence, he couldn’t fathom the reality, as you both stood there silently unable to speak a word against one another.
“Y/N. Ho-How did you- I thought you were-”
“Dead? Think again, Michael. Your plan to rid me, your own fucking wife, the only family you had left, the only person you knew loved you from the beginning, left to die...How could you?” The rage imminent in your voice, as the rest of the Coven remained in awe of the truth, still attempting to grasp who Michael was to you.
“It-It’s not like that, it was never like that. I tried to bring you here, bring you home to me. I had my men searching for you day and night. When I heard they still hadn’t found you, it was too late...I-I thought you were dead, everyone convinced me you were gone...I mourned for you.”
He began to walk his way down the steps, ever so cautiously, as though not wanting to frighten you away. It pained to hear that Michael had given up so easily and yet a part of you, was ungrateful for the witches finding you first before Michael.
He was your husband, and you should’ve known better. After Cordelia had confided you with the fate of the Antichrist, you should’ve searched for Michael, and just as he said...It was already to late.
Whoever was in charge of dismissing the nuclear attacks did so during a time, where you made the haste decision to regroup with your fellow Coven. They were there first, when they found you, seeking you out first, trying to claim as much helping hands as they could get. It was all to coincidental: pure fate that you felt was beyond your mundane control.
Here you stood amongst your Coven, Michael standing before you as the Antichrist, and you completely torn between the two.
You both were in the wrong, both in complete bewilderment of each other.
Should he have told you that he was the Antichrist, perhaps circumstances would have changed, the Apocalypse may not have ever happened.
You fell in love with Michael, the humanity in him, his innocence was compelling enough to convince you to want to remain by his side as time went on.
Should he have told you earlier on, you would have sought to change him, reassured him that this path his so called ‘father’ had set out was unnecessary, if he simply had told you the truth.
And yet, here you stood, realising that this was much more than a coincidence that the Coven found you before he ever could, that you both had survived and were now face to face, and yet still madly devoted to one another.
You couldn’t deny it… Michael was your husband, and you’d promised to love him since. You simply couldn’t rid that foundation of endearment you both had sought in each other now.
“Y/N”
Instantly, he fell to his knees, crumbling before you with fear of rejection.
You knew Michael: you were aware of his past and the ordeal he’d faced having been disowned by everyone he ever truly loved. All he ever wanted in life was forgiveness and more so, redemption.
The familiar, reassuring grip of his arms instinctively wrapping around your waist, pulling you tightly in, wanting nothing more than to embrace you, his wife. It was overdue and definitely, comforting.
“Please forgive me, my love-”
His sobs beginning to sound, desperation and despair alive in the sheer tone of his broken voice.
“I’m sorry, I’m so so sorry, Y/N.”
As though out of instinct, tears began to streak down past your cheek. You had never seen Michael in this state, having only ever heard of his past experiences. You couldn’t bear to witness how miserable he must have been. Your hand gradually began to pat his silky hair, the other caressing his cheek, trying best to wipe away his tears.
Kneeling down to face him, you felt was a terrible mistake, as now you were completely helpless from resisting the urge to cry.
“Of course, my love. Of course, I forgive you.”
Your arms wrapped instantly around his head, embracing him in a heartfelt hug, as he continued sobbing against your chest, his cries muffled, his hot tears soaking against the fabric of your dress.
This was the Michael you’d grown to know, and had inevitably grown to love: surely now the witches, and Cordelia would realised that if Michael was essentially capable of love, redemption was a viable option for him still.
He was no Antichrist in your eyes...He was simply Michael Langdon, the love of your life, your dear husband.

Because I Like You
Word Count: 1670
A/N: this is a touch of Jealous/Protective!Jughead, but I have one more coming out here fairly soon that will be even more jelaous-y and protective-y and possessive-y than this so yay! *squeal* I hope you all enjoy lol!
Tumblr media
MasterList
"Juggie, I'm going to be gone for a few hours so don't wait up!" Y/N yelled down the hall, half expecting her best friend to completely disregard what she said.
"Where are you going?" the beanie-less boy yelled, bursting out of his office slash bedroom, his hair falling over his face. Y/N chuckled slightly at the concerned boy, and picked up her bag off the counter.
"Out...?" she replied, and Jughead rolled his eyes, leaning against the wall and crossing his arms over his chest in an attempt to play off his worry.
"Out where? With who?" he asked, trying his best to make his million questions sound as casual as possible, but ended up ultimately failing because Y/N smiled at his concerned tone he was trying so hard to conceal.
"Why does it matter?" she asked, putting her hand on her hip and eyeing the raven haired boy.
"Because there's a killer on the loose," he quickly shot. Y/N followed Jugheads eyes as he gave her a glance over, and she melted for a split second under his gaze, shifting on her feet. "And I don't know if I want you going out dressed like... that."
"What do you mean? Do I not look good?" she asked, looking down at herself. She thought she looked pretty good, she was wearing her favourite (black skater skirt, a white lacy crop top, a flowy nude cardigan, and short black booties/black plain tank top, skinny ripped jeans, and plain black sneakers).
"No, I think you look beautiful as always," he started, and Y/N felt as her heart skipped a beat, and tried to fight the blush creeping up her cheeks. "It's just... you look too beautiful, you're gonna get a lot of attention from guys if you're going to be out in public." he said, and Y/N rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.
"I'm going to the club with Ronnie and the Pussy cats, I'm sure I'm going to be getting attention either way, being surrounded by drunk men and all." she teased, but that only seemed to upset him more.
"All more of a reason for you to go change, do you want to borrow one of my jackets? That'll cover you up better, and maybe scare a few guys off." He offered, and Y/N chuckled.
"No Jug, I'm okay I-" she started, but Jughead shook his head.
"Yeah, I'll go get you a jacket." he interrupted, backing up slowly to his room, digging around for a spare and baggy coat for the (y/h/c) girl, but before he could find one, he heard the front door open.
"Bye Jughead, don't wait up!" Y/N called, and Jughead rushed out of the room and to the front door, where Y/N winked and slammed the door behind her, leaving Jughead to his own burning thoughts and feelings.
•••
Y/N opened the front door slowly, trying her best to avoid the squeaking noise the hinges made every time the door was used, but like clockwork, the door cried out.
"Shut up you stupid door, people are trying to sleep!" she whispered angrily at the inanimate object, closing it behind her.
"You know it doesn't understand you, right?" Jughead asked, turning on a lamp in the living room, revealing him sitting on the couch of their small apartment. "It's a door, just because you verbally abuse it doesn't mean it will do what you want."
"Yeah whatever, I can still try. What are you doing up?" Y/N asked, tossing her bag on the ground and taking her (booties/sneakers) off.
"Waiting for you." He replied, standing from the couch. "Do you know what time it is?"
"I don't know? 2 maybe?" Y/N guessed, and Jughead shook his head.
"5:30 in the morning, I was worried sick!" he slightly yelled, and Y/N rolled her eyes, making her way into the kitchen.
"You had no reason to be, I'm fine." She said nonchalantly, pulling a mug out of the cupboard and (hot chocolate/tea) out of another.
"You've been gone for 7 hours with no word to me, the only way I knew you were alive was from your instagram, which by the way I have a few questions about, like where'd you go after the club and who the hell were those guys you were with?" He asked angrily, and Y/N threw her hands in the air in surrender.
"I went back to Josie's with Ronnie, Melody, Valarie, and some guys from the club." she said, taking a sip of her (hot chocolate/tea) and jumping up onto the counter.
"Why?" he asked, and Y/N shrugged, kicking her feet slightly as they dangled off the edge.
"Did you really think I was going to be in a crowded club for 7 hours? I'm surprised I even survived the 3 I was there. Honestly if you ask me it was 3 hours too many, there were-"
"That's not what I was asking. Why did you take guys back to Josie's with you?" Jughead asked, and Y/N giggled. "What's so funny?"
"You're so angry, it's kinda cute." she said, and Jughead did his best not to look affected by her comment, which wasn't too hard, he was pissed.
"You didn't sleep with any of them did you?" he asked, and Y/N choked slightly on her drink, taken aback by the question.
"No, I'm very much awake right now, and I was very much awake earlier, and I'm not in a strange bed with a man I don't know," she said, and Jughead huffed out in frustration. "At least I don't think I am, this could be just a dream. This would be a very weird dream to be having, although I've had weirder. One time, I had a dream that you got kidnapped by aliens and I was chasing around this shiny purple UFO trying to get you back and-"
"Y/N, you know what I mean." Jughead said impatiently, but she just kept on rambling.
"They refused to give you back, and I was pissed, so when they landed I snuck into the ship and beat the shit out of like three ugly grey aliens who had guns that shot out energy cells, and I was dodging all of their bullets-"
"Y/N!" Jughead yelled, effectively shutting the girl up. "How drunk are you?" he asked, and she giggled and shrugged again. "Did you have-"
"No I didn't sleep with any of them." Y/N cut him off, jumping off the counter but leaned back against it instead. "I don't see why it's any of your business if I did though, why should you care?"
"Because I'm your best friend, and I only want to protect you." he said, and Y/N scoffed, now getting slightly annoyed with Jugheads over protectiveness.
"I can protect myself Jughead, I don't need your supervision." she argued, and he glared narrowly at her.
"Obviously you do." He spat. "I'm only doing this to make sure you don't end up like Jason Blossom-"
"I still don't understand why you care so much, you don't care about anything half the time!" she yelled, throwing her hands up.
"BECAUSE I LIKE YOU!" he yelled, not thinking over what just came out of his mouth, but it didn't matter too much, because neither did Y/N.
"WELL I LIKE YOU TOO!" she screamed back, staring wildly at Jughead, who just processed what Y/N had said to him and was taken aback.
She paused for a second, taking her eyes off the boy in front of her to think about the argument that just went down and the words that were said. She stared off confused into space, a panting mess as she tried to catch her breathe and process the fact that Jughead had just admitted his feelings for her, or maybe she was so drunk she imagined it? But she just admitted her feelings to him, she knew that for a fact so if she imagined him saying that and she just yelled that she liked him that-
Her thoughts were cut off when Jugheads lips crashed into hers, and without missing a beat she kissed him back, her hands flying up to his face. She quickly pulled away from him, staring him in his eyes and he looked slightly panicked, worried he had done something wrong.
"Please tell me I'm not passed out somewhere drunk as all hell and dreaming this." she breathlessly asked, and Jughead smirked.
"Is that what you think is happening?" he asked.
"God I hope not." she replied, pulling him back down for another hungry kiss to which he happily complied. He picked her up and threw her on the counter behind them, moving from her mouth to her jaw, trailing kisses from there to her collarbone as Y/N tugged on the hem of his shirt.
"I've liked you for so long..." she said and he smiled against her skin, standing up straighter to look at her.
"Ive liked you since you moved here." he said, and she blushed and rolled her eyes, leaning down to peck him on the lips.
"Damn I've wasted so much of my life not doing that." she said, smirking down at Jughead, to which he chuckled slightly.
"Let's make up for all lost time right now, what do you say?" he asked smugly, and she nodded her head, crashing her lips with his again, continuing to tug on his shirt until he pulled it off himself. She reached to her own and pulled it off as well, and Jughead picked her up off the counter, and she wrapped her legs around his waist. She giggled as he made their way to her bedroom that they both knew was going to be shared after tonight's events, which by the way, totally made up for lost time. ;)

Like I want you honest opinion, the only wigs I've bought are from arda and I love their fibers and color blends. They are a but pricy at times, so I was wondering if it worth buying or looking for cheaper wigs like on eBay is better. Like quality wise I want your opinion, on eBay wigs vs arda, like on their shine, quality, thickness, etc. Also what about epic cosplay wigs, I've never tried one but I've heard they are nice but shine a lot. Want to know if it's worth it
“Like is the price for am arda wit worth the quality I am paying for or not in your opinion, sorry for the long ask.“
It my honest opinion it really depends on the wig. NON-lace fronts are easy to find in good quality on Ebay.  You can even find lace fronts there too. I have a whole write up on TIPS for Buying from Ebay.
But generally my rule of thumb is that I only buy SPECIALTY wigs from Arda I wanna splurge on. Our Hux lace front, our Elsa lace front, etc etc. Mostly because of cost. But also because Arda is great to depend on for a style/color thats ESSENTIAL to the look of the cosplay.
But basic bobs, or basic long hair wigs like for Miku, or Mercy or Mystic Messenger, etc, I can normally scout out a 15 dollar wig from ebay thats just perfect. Especially when the hair ‘is what it is’ and isnt anything unique aside form color.
EpicWigs is great, we have a couple from them, but yeah they tend to be shinier. That might be from the fibers.
But HEY heres a tutorial to take shine out of a wig.

In A Crowd Of Thousands (Part VIII) —  Steve Harrington
Series: In A Crowd Of Thousands (other parts here)
Pairing: Steve Harrington x Reader, side Billy Hargrove x Reader
Words: 1781
Summary: Steve gets a visit from Nancy and she helps him figure some things out.
Warnings: none
A/N: !! PLEASE READ THIS !! I don’t even know where to begin... i’m so so so sorry for taking so long to update. i’ve been very busy and i genuinely didn’t even have time to sit and write this properly. this was written on the notes in my phone whenever i had a little free time, so i’m just hoping that it doesn’t suck. as always, feedback is appreciated and the tags are below the cut (tell me if you wanna be tagged!)
Tumblr media
It was Friday night and Steve was once again laying miserably on his bed staring at the ceiling, just like he had been a week ago. The only difference was that, this time around, Y/N wouldn’t be coming into his room. She wouldn’t lay on his chest and fall asleep. They wouldn’t go to a party the next day, only for him to get drunk and confess his feelings for her. Nope. Instead she’d be going on a date with Billy Hargrove and just the thought of that made him sick to his stomach.
He was so lost on his thoughts that he almost didn’t hear the doorbell. Almost. Panic and hope filled his chest as he got up from his bed and ran downstairs. His parents weren’t home so he didn’t need to worry about the doorbell waking them up or bothering them, but he also couldn’t help but assume that it was Y/N at his front door, and that thought managed to fill him with excitement and dread at the same time, making him leave his room and run downstairs in record time.
Steve hesitated for a second as he gripped the door handle, not having a clue of what he would do or say if it really was Y/N. Saying sorry for bitterly ignoring her for a week was out of the question, and trying to explain his actions for the past few days sounded even worse than that. He took a deep breath and decided to take a leap of faith, opening the door and coming face to face with Nancy Wheeler. He looked her up and down and frowned.
“Try not to look so disappointed.” Nancy said sarcastically and rolled her eyes.
“No, it’s just...” Steve stopped himself, trying to choose his words right and not sound like a loser. He might be over Nancy but he still dated her, he wants to keep some sort of class around her. “I was expecting someone else.”
“I know.” Nancy replied, smiling sadly up at him. “And that’s exactly why I’m here to talk to you.”
“Uh... ok.” Steve relented. He didn’t have it in him to protest, and something in the back of his mind told him that having company didn’t sound so bad at that moment, even if it wasn’t the company he really wanted.
A few minutes later, Steve and Nancy were sitting next to each other, Nancy awkwardly sipping a cup of water Steve had given her as they both stayed silent.
“So...” Steve sighed out, hoping Nancy would just say what she came here to say and be done with it. He knew this was somehow about Y/N.
“I’m worried about you.” Nancy said quickly, as if she had been preparing herself to say that for a while. Steve let out a sneer miserably.
“I’m serious.” she snapped, turning her whole body to face him. “Look, I can’t say that I know what went on between you and Y/N. I know what happened but I don’t know the story behind it and I know the rumors that have been going around in school can’t be true.”
Steve remained expressionless, only the ghost of a self deprecating smile showing on his face. He knew about the rumors. He knew that everyone had been saying that Y/N had cheated on him with Billy. As much as it stung to hear people whispering how he wasn’t able to satisfy her and hear quiet laughter following him around the hallways, it felt worse to see people patting Billy on the back and congratulating him as if Y/N was a prize to be won.
“Thank you for that, I guess.” Steve mumbled to Nancy, fidgeting in his sit.
“Steve, I’m gonna be completely honest with you because I think that’s what you deserve right now.” Nancy declared and sat a little straighter. “And I want you to listen to me.”
Steve only nodded anxiously in response. It didn’t matter that Nancy broke his heart once, he knew she would give it to him straight. Nancy knew how he dealt with relationships and he could just feel a flicker of happiness in his stomach, hoping she could help him get out of this mess.
“I always knew you felt something for Y/N. Even when we were dating. I guess that’s why I didn’t feel so bad when I broke up with you.” Nancy said meticulously but with determination, as if she had been planning to say that for a long time. “I knew that you’d still have her no matter what. And now that you don’t, I’m worried, Steve.”
“Nancy...” Steve started, not sure where he was heading but not wanting her to get any wrong ideas. “I never used you to get to her or anything, I loved you.”
“And I know that.” Nancy smiled and placed a comforting hand on his knee. “But you were never in love with me, at least not how you’re in love with her.”
Steve cringed, the words coming out of Nancy’s mouth making his heart beat faster. “What are you trying to say?”
“I’m trying to say that you shouldn’t give up on her.” Nancy squealed out, startling both herself and Steve. “Steve, you two are good for each other, ok?”
Steve rolled his eyes at that. “I’m serious!” Nancy continued on, her voice higher and her words faster than normal. “I’m tired of seeing you two dancing around each other and just being completely oblivious.”
“Like you and Jonathan?” Steve chuckled out, bumping his shoulders with hers. It felt good to have Nancy around, he had missed her.
“Well, yes. Like Jonathan and I used to be.” she answered, blush rising to her cheeks. “We now got our shit together and we’re both happy. You deserve to be happy too, Steve. Both you and Y/N do, and she’s not gonna get that being with Billy.”
“And she’s gonna get it with me?” Steve asked self consciously.
“Don’t you see the way she looks at you?” Nancy fixed her bewildered eyes at Steve.
Steve didn’t answer her, choosing to look down at his hands instead. He knew there was no point at trying to appear tough before Nancy, she would be able to see it through that no matter what.
“I can’t tell you what to do, only you can decide that.” Steve heard Nancy say softly and shut his eyes tightly in response, as if that would be able to make all his problems disappear.
“You two need each other.” Nancy continued, placing a comforting hand on his knee. “And she loves you, more than I think you believe she does. And I won’t stand here and watch you do nothing about it.”
Nancy stood up from her seat, making Steve open his eyes and look up. “Do you really think she’d still give me a chance?”
“She’d be crazy not to.” Nancy smiled warmly. “I expect you to bring me good news the next time I see you, ok?”
Steve started laughing at Nancy’s words. “You want me to do what? Confess my undying love for her by Monday?”
“Well, that or that you two eloped and got married during the weekend.” she joked. Or, at least, Steve hoped she was joking.
“How can I ever thank you enough, Nance?” he asked, half joking back and half actually meaning those words. If it wasn’t for his ex-girlfriend coming over at that moment, he’d still be in his bed moping around and feeling sorry for himself.
“You know exactly how, Harrington.” Nancy smirked, winking at him. Steve started to get up, but before he could even get out of the couch, Nancy was pushing him back and shushing him. “Nope, I’ll walk myself out. You have a lot to think and figure out.”
Clearly pleased with herself, Nancy gave Steve one last grin before turning on her heels and walking towards the front door, saying something about how she could convince Jonathan to go on a double date.
Steve stayed on the couch, his stomach churning with both excitement and fear as he wondered what the hell he could do to get Y/N back.

Anywhere With You (Harry Styles) - Part 1
word count: 1468 requested by: none pronouns: she/her warnings: none fandom: one direction au type: royal summary: harry finally puts the plan he’s been thinking about for a long time into action inspired by: @my-imagines-moonlight53 (x) authors notes: basically it's a differently worded version of runaways which no one read anyway so it’s chill other parts: one / two
❀・・・❀・・・❀・・・❀・・・❀・・・❀・・・❀
"Why is it that whenever I can't find you, you're always out here?" you heard someone ask, their shoes moving the gravel beneath them. You tilted your head back on your forearms to watch the Prince you worked for coming toward you.
"Probably because you haven't learned to check here first," you mentioned as he laid down on the grass beside you.
"Fair enough," he chuckled.
You and Harry had known each other for practically your entire lives. You were about the same age – he was just a few months older – and you grew up in the castle together. Your mother got a job at the castle as a Candler a few months after you were born as a way to be able to provide for you after your dad left, and you would often – once you were old enough – help her make the candles as well as walk around the castle when she needed to light or blow them out.
Harry didn't have many friends outside the castle – sure, there were the servants and his older sister, but he didn't really have anyone his age until you. You were told that your only 'duty' – so to speak – in the castle was to simply be Harry's friend. And you happily obeyed until the two of you got older.
You were still Harry's friend, of course, but you were now acting as his servant as well. Though your work was mainly attributed to making sure Harry's needs were met and he made it to whatever he had to do that day on time, you did also continue to help out with candle making. The castle hired a new Candler after your mother had passed – although you knew how to do it, the Queen insisted that you only needed to be with Harry, so that was what you did.
But things changed with him not long after that...
You were both in your 20s now and, while you were still as close as you were when you were kids, you couldn't deny the fact that you had feelings for him. You'd had a crush on Harry since you were 6-years-old, but the fact that you still felt the same nearly 20 years later...? You didn't know what to do.
Though, the day he told you he was engaged to be married kind of made that decision for you.
Princess Eloise was a nice and respectful girl...around other people. But to Harry – and especially to you – she was the worst. She was incredibly rude and threw a tantrum in the same way a toddler would when she didn't get what she wanted. She demanded that Harry spend less time around you and when he told her that wasn't an option, she immediately began insisting on firing you.
And that was what led you to where you were now – lying on the grass in the garden and looking up at the stars.
You weren't exactly sure how long you were outside before Harry came out, but you knew it hadn't been too long because the moon was still in the same spot. You heard him sigh as he copied your position and put his arms behind his head so it wasn't directly on the ground. It was silent between you two – a comfortable one – for a few moments until it was broken.
"I'm sorry she's so awful to you," Harry murmured.
"I'm sorry you have to marry her," you scoffed jokingly, making him laugh again. You heard him take a deep breath once his laughter had calmed down.
"Have you ever thought about running away?" he asked you randomly, making you turn your gaze away from the stars and onto the side of his face.
"Running away?" you wondered where the question had come from.
"Yeah," he replied, still staring up at the sky, "You know, just leaving this life and making a new one."
"You mean one where I don't have to wait on you hand-and-foot every single day?" you smirked.
"Y/N," he couldn't help but smile, knowing you weren't being serious.
"I guess so," you shrugged, looking back at the sky.
"What would you be doing if you weren't working here?"
"I'd be a photographer," you answered without hesitation.
"You sound very sure of that," Harry pointed out, looking at you now.
"I tried to find a job in that field last summer, you know," you said, "But when that fell through, I kinda just decided to stay here. And this job pays better than anything I've seen so far and it gives me a place to stay and food to eat every day, so..."
"Oh, I get it," he sighed, "This was your last choice."
"You've always been my first choice, H," you giggled, looking at him again.
"Always?" he repeated.
"Always," you barely nodded, your voice coming out as a whisper.
"Hypothetically speaking then," he murmured, never taking his eyes off of you, "Does that mean if I asked you to run away with me, you'd say yes?"
"Harry..." you said slowly, propping yourself up on your forearms.
"Would you?" he asked simply.
"In a heartbeat," you replied without hesitation, making Harry smile. He turned his attention back to the sky, making you huff softly. "No follow-up?" you asked, "Just cryptic silence?"
Harry suddenly turned his body toward you and grabbed your sides, starting to tickle you. You squealed loudly, desperately trying to escape as you involuntarily laughed, but it was no use – Harry had obviously always been a lot stronger than you.
When he finally stopped, his arms wrapped around your waist, bringing you into him. He pressed his lips to your forehead, leaving them there for a good 30 seconds before speaking.
"Thanks for choosing me," he murmured into your skin. You responded by winding your own arms around his neck, hugging him tightly.
"Always," you whispered back.
~
Two weeks later
"Hey, Y/N," Harry suddenly broke the silence that had been floating around his bedroom for the last few minutes.
You'd woken him up for the day and he was now getting dressed while your back was turned to him. You hummed in response as you pulled his blanket up to his pillow before grabbing that and fixing the pillowcase.
"Do you remember when I asked what you would say if I asked you to run away with me?" he asked you.
"'In a heartbeat'," you replied with your answer, seemingly not even fazed by the question.
"It's time," he said.
"For...?" you asked, leaning back upright and grabbing his crown from its spot on his dresser where you put it every single night before he went to bed.
"We're leaving."
It was then that you really started to pay attention. Your body froze up for a moment before you slowly turned toward him. And the serious expression on his face as he gazed back at you certainly wasn't helping your racing heart.
"H... What are you talking about...?" you asked so lowly that he barely even heard you.
"We're leaving," Harry repeated, "We're running away tonight."
"W-We?" you swallowed lightly.
"Yes, Y/N. We. You and me. Us. Together."
"Why?"
"You said you'd run away with me if I asked," he reminded you.
"I didn't think you actually meant it!" you squeaked softly so no one passing by would hear, "What if they catch us before we're even outside? What if they come looking for us? I'm gonna get in so much-"
"Y/N," Harry cut you off, grabbing your shoulders to make you stop moving around. He then took your chin in his hand and tilted your head up so you would look at him. "You're not going to get in trouble," he assured you, "I've thought about doing this for so long; I just needed to make sure I was really ready and could actually live life in the 'real world'. And if you're by my side, I know I can do it." You blushed a bright shade of pink at the comment, making him smile slightly.
"But what if-"
"Y/N, as your Prince, I am ordering you to run away with me," he said firmly. You finally cracked a grin – well... Harry did give you direct orders... And you were simply obeying them.
Harry smiled yet again when he noticed you were, releasing your chin as you leaned forward. You buried your face in his neck as you hugged him, making him wrap his arms around your waist and hug you just as tightly.
"You really do want to go, right?" Harry mumbled into your hair, "I don't want to make you leave if-"
"I'd go anywhere with you, H," you whispered, causing him to blush brightly.

the memory | jughead jones x reader
Tumblr media
request
anonymous said: hi :) I’d like to request a jughead x reader. but it’s a bit sad. Like he tells someone about the reader, that she was great and he loves her and stuff. And when the person he’s talking to asks where the reader is, he tells them, that she disappeared a few years ago, but no one really bothered looking for her( for some reason, idk😅) And maybe they could all start to search for her? Thanks already 🤗

I had to move the prompt around a little bit to make sure it didn’t sound like a few other writings out there. Anyway, this is becoming a somewhat shared account and I hope you’re okay with me writing it. I am turning it into 2 parts as I feel one didn’t do it justice. Hope you like it.
Warnings: mentions of physical abuse. Do not read if easily triggered.
Looking at the window, I couldn’t help myself but be fixed on the date. June 16th. It had been a year.
It had been a year and I still hadn’t found her - no one had. For a little while, the town and Sheriff Keller were all too focused on Jason’s killer. Y/N wasn’t as an important to them because her last name wasn’t Blossom.
It’s why I dived into the mystery surrounding Jason Blossom myself. If I had figured it out, in any way helping, the police would go back to her case. Even if they thought it was a lost cause. What I didn’t expect, was where solving Jason’s case would leave me. Or my father for that matter.
There wasn’t a body to be found like Jason’s - and with a lack of evidence, the investigation of her disappearance remained at a stand still.
Sheriff Keller seemed to be set on the idea that she had just ran away. And while I knew she had some reasons to do so, I knew she wouldn’t have done it without saying goodbye to at least me.
“Juggie…”, my thoughts and stare out the window came back to focus with my ginger haired friend in front of me. There I was, tugging at the sleeves of my leather jacket - tired from a lack of sleep. My eyes were red but I didn’t care.
I just blinked while I looked back down at the half drunken cup of coffee.
“Are you alright?”. I saw worry in his face but resisted in telling him where my thoughts were.
I shifted my focus back outside. “No”.
“Look dude…I know what today is. I was trying to get you out of the house for a reason”. He started to play with the fries on his plate.
“Not like it will help any…no one cares enough”.
“Don’t say that. Her case is still open”, he was trying to give me something to hold onto. But he didn’t know everything.
My body slumped as I played with a loose strand of hair that came loose from my beanie. A habit that she would say showed off my anxiousness.
Her smile was still hammered into my brain. “I failed her”.
“What could you do Juggie?”.
“I found out enough about Jason…why couldn’t I do that with her?”, my eyes finally latched onto Archie’s as I held back the tears that began to water.
He shook his head. “There was a lot more people and dealings involved to what happened with Jason. There’s nothing anyone seems to know about Y/N and why she…”.
“She would have said goodbye”. My hand clutched the mug, tightening in grip.
Silence lingered between the two of us until Archie finally spoke again. “Why won’t you tell me?”.
“Tell you what?”. I was becoming agitated.
“You knew her for almost a year but I never really hung out with her. It was just you two in this booth every weekend. What do you know about her that would help her case? I know you didn’t tell Keller everything”.
I leaned back, a little amazed that Archie was perceptive in this manner. “She became my friend when I felt I didn’t have any. Or don’t you remember ditching me for freshmen football?”.
“I thought we were passed this…and what happened with the trip over that summer”.
I felt a little guilty as he said this. “Yeah, no we are past that. She just helped me through that time. And for a little bit, I helped her”.
“What was it that you knew Juggie?”. The arch of his shoulders leaned forward over the table.
I sighed. Reluctant to tell him as it felt something that she only trusted me with - as if telling him was something of betraying her.
“She was being hurt…”.
His brows furrowed in confusion, I knew I would have to go more into detail.
“Her mom. Was hurting her. Had been for years. And not with just words. She didn’t tell me for months but it turned out that’s why she kept coming here in the first place”. I looked to the counter that Pop was wiping down with a cloth. Recalling the night I met her. “She was here at 2am that first time. I was still living at my Dad’s but I couldn’t handle the sight of him that night”, I gave a soft laugh recalling the encounter. “I didn’t realize she was finding refuge here - not that night anyway”.
I walked in with the bell dinging above my head. The autumn rain falling from the wet locks in front of my eyes. I expected the diner to be mostly empty - but then I caught sight of her to my left. Her nose in a book but her eyes were barely focused on the page. As if her mind was somewhere else.
I noticed the title and approached her - I could have used the distraction from my own thoughts that night. “The sun,–the bright sun, that brings back, not light alone, but new life, and hope, and freshness to man–burst upon the crowded city in clear and radiant glory”.
She looked up and smiled. A smile that radiated through her entire body - it was something that was infectious. It was as if her entire demeanour changed - a light that sparked in her. Soft words then fell from her lips, “Through costly-coloured glass and paper-mended window, through cathedral dome and rotten crevice, it shed its equal ray”.
I smiled. “So you’ve read it before?”, I found a confidence within myself and sat at the swiveling stool next to her.
She gave a small chuckle, “I had a big thing with Dickens in 7th grade. Tried to work through whatever the library had quite quickly. But I always find comfort in this one. Something about a runaway and a new world to explore”. She gave her smile again.
That was the start of our friendship. Something we both needed. And while it may have been a friendship that was only featured on Saturday nights - I welcomed it. I welcomed that smile that still played in my head every day.
She didn’t know my darkness yet - and I hadn’t known hers. But we found a similar humor in each other, a love of books and escaping from our own thoughts. I just didn’t realize how grim hers were.
“Didn’t she go to Southside?”, Archie spoke up as it woke me from my memories.
I gave a nod. “Well maybe you can learn more now. We can find out what happened. I know you’ve tried before - but I’m here for you now”. He tried giving a reassuring smile.
I looked down at my coffee. She deserved better. At the very least she deserved an ending.
“Alright. As long as you’re okay with being my partner in crime this time?”.
He gave a laugh. “No chance I’m letting Betts go two for two”.
And so the investigation of Y/N restarted for me. I just wanted answers. For myself as well as her.

A Visiting Future, pt. 1
Steve Rogers x Reader
A/N: A commissioned series for @girl-next-door-writes . There will be FOUR PARTS, all written.
Summary: Someone from the future comes to visit Steve and you, and they have a message.
Part 1    Part 2   Part 3   Part 4
Tumblr media
There were two things going through Steve Rogers mind as he fought off a pair of Hydra agents; the first was that if it was ever going to be possible to finally rid the world of their presences, and second, was fighting all he was good for? It had been nearly six months since Wanda and Sam had joined the team, and he had still been searching for his old friend, Bucky; and while he would never give up on any leads to find him, Steve was growing tired. The fighting was never ending and often he ached, when alone, for downtime or even a chance to amuse himself with thoughts of something more – like the boy from Brooklyn used to do. Was there more to life than being an Avenger, and would the work ever come to an end? Of course, he was grateful for the team and cared about them like family, because they were, in fact, the only family he had left. Yet, a man was only human; he was only human and longed for things many did.
“Cap, I got eyes on the prize,” Sam echoed through the comm. Steve looked to the sky and saw the wings of the Falcon, and ordered him to take down those he could, while the rest of the group ran to help him. He immediately brought down the two agents swiftly with his shield and raced alongside Wanda, who was using her own abilities to take down whoever came toward the duo. Steve smiled at her and thought how far the young woman had come, and he felt a sense of pride when she nodded to him before taking off ahead of him. He did that sometimes, let the others take the lead – he realized it was important to do so, and that, maybe, he was setting them up for the future. A future that didn’t include him, at least not when it came to the Avengers – and maybe that’s why he recruited Sam and Wanda, and the newest member: you, a woman who held a strong sense of leadership that won him over the day Maria Hill asked the Avengers for help locating you.
You were a former SHIELD agent, who was captured while out in the field -another Hydra experiment gone wrong or right, it all depended on how one looked at the situation. Long story short, they injected you with some serum that gave you the ability to burn things with your hand; your hands would glow this yellow fluorescent color and warm whatever you touched. It had taken some time and training to get things under control, and eventually you learned how to turn it off and on. Bad guys? They got the grunt of your heat, would be burned on the spot, heat seeped through what part of them you touched – it was enough to weaken them if you were feeling generous. Good guys? Well, you developed a fun party trick with popcorn that Clint most of all enjoyed.
Steve caught up to Wanda, who fought alongside you, as Sam took to the sky again.
“Steve, my heat radar showed six different bodies,” you said to him, looking down at the holo-watch on your wrist. He noted your confusion and asked what was wrong. “They just disappeared.”
Wanda shook off the last of the agents and turned to you. “How could that be?”
Looking to the Cap, you examined his face and noticed his lips pursed in thought, but only for a moment. He looked to you and nodded. “You two check the perimeter, I’m going in. And Sam? Keep an eye on all exits from above.”
“Be careful, Cap,” you advised, motioning for Wanda to follow you. Steve watched as the two of you disappeared around the building, and took a deep, preparing breath before racing toward the building. He kicked opened the door of the Hydra hide out and took slow deliberate steps as he approached a long hallway – it was dark, but he kept going and looked down at his own holo-watch. There were no warm bodies or any sign of life, as he scanned the building from where he stood until something popped up on the radar.
“I have eyes on someone,” he said.
“Wanda and I are heading in from the back,” you said.
He didn’t reply because the figure seemed to move toward where he stood; holding up his shield, Steve took a fighting stance and waited for the person to come through the end of the hallway door. The anticipation was killing him as he heard footsteps approaching and then the door sliding open – Steve was ready to fight expecting to see a Hydra agent, but that was not who came through the door.
It was a young man, a kid no older than twenty it seemed. His eyes were wild until they landed on Steve and it seemed his entire demeanor relaxed, and what confused Steve the most was the smile – the smile on the young man’s face.
He looked relieved and it seemed odd to Steve as the young man approached him cautiously, yet the smile remained.
“I’m glad my timing is right,” he explained, eyeing the stance Steve had taken. “You can relax, I’m not trying to fight – believe me, I know how you fight, and Aunt Nat had plenty of stories to tell.”
He stared at the man in disbelief. “Aunt Nat? You know Romanoff?”
“She was my number one babysitter whenever Mom and you needed a night off.”
Steve’s body seized as his shield moved down to his side, he looked at the kid and wasn’t sure what to say or believe. Millions of thoughts ran through his head, unable to wrap his brain around the fact that this young man is suggesting something he couldn’t even apprehend. His chest heaved and before he could ask for confirmation, the kid took three steps closer to him.
“I’m going to take a picture out of my pocket, don’t kick my ass,” he joked but Steve didn’t break a smile; he just waited to see whatever evidence he had to show. “Man, you have definitely lightened up over the years.”
“You’re catching me on a trying day,” Steve said, swinging his shield to his back where it locked onto its strap. He watched as the kid pulled out the photo and held it out.
“I know whatever I say you won’t believe until you see this photo,” he said. “I need your help, so please look at it.”
His words seemed genuine, so Steve took the folded photo but before he could open it, you came rushing into the room. He looked up from the folded photo and saw you standing behind the kid, fists glowing.
“Steve! You didn’t respond to my call on the comm, shit, are you okay?”
“I’m fine, I’m sorry, but we have a situation,” he said to you, eyes on the young man, who looked as though he had seen a ghost. His eyes were watery, and Steve could see his body shaking as he slowly turned to face you.
You stared at the young man in front of you, the color of your fist dimming down to your regular skin tone as the kid attacked you with a hug. Eyes wide, you looked to Steve, who just stood there with a piece of paper in his hand – calling out his name, your hands fell to your side as the young man held you tight, mumbling something you couldn’t understand.
Disregarding your calls, Steve glanced down at the photo and slowly unfolded it. The picture was wrinkled in the middle, but it was clear as the morning sun – the first face he recognized was his own, standing in front of a sign that read Yosemite Park. He was holding a boy, maybe five, on his shoulder and with his other arm, he held a woman close to his side.
“Steve,” you called his name again, but his eyes couldn’t take them off the woman’s face until Wanda and Sam came running into the room, the latter demanding to know what the hell was happening. Steve ignored his friend, eyes searching the room for yours – a lump in his throat, unable to speak as he looked into the eyes that matched those in the photo.

                                                            —-
“That’s not a good bet”.
“How would you know? They’re my cards…”, Luke’s words slurred a little as he questioned Grizz.
“Is that why you keep nonchalantly motioning them to my view?”, Grizz kind of joked as Luke looked dissatisfied.
Grizz looked around the younger gentlemen of the Guard, seeing the "flop” on the table before them - cards being one of the few ways to pass time in New Ham. Grizz unwillingly sipped at his one beer, as he watched the other three get rather drunk.
He looked at his two cards in hand, noticing the pair of kings- tapping his foot out of habit - trying to keep his bluff away from his face. But Grizz was always good at bluffing - it would not be as if his friends would know anything different.
Luke slapped the next card down, noting it as the River as Clark’s eyes rattled with the pain of what had just transpired.
Grizz’s mind was elsewhere as he thought back to the last week - to his team’s exploration and its successfulness - to coming back home to a mob that was rising against Allie. Grizz knew who was behind this, but also knew - that too big of a move on the matter would cause more chaos. Just like cards that night, Grizz was playing the long game for New Ham - but with it, he had to get his friends back.
As a round of betting circled the table, Grizz then thought back how to Sam welcomed him home - with glee. Lingering nerves still being between them both, knowing one was at fault for the anger that still persisted. Yet, he knew Sam was with him, in the fear of what would happen to Allie now.
“Hey man, are you going to bet or what?”, Jason interrupted Grizz’s thoughts.
Grizz looked to the table at the final card, not really noticing how long the rest of the boys were still waiting on him.
“Where’s your head tonight? You’re not even drinking?”, Clark was a little angered as he saw the same bottle Grizz opened an hour ago, still placed on its coaster everso perfectly.
“I’m just elsewhere I guess”, Grizz said timidly.
“Well do you think you’ll actually play? There’s only so much liquor left we can bet with. I can’t believe Lexi is still making us do rations even though we’re the guard…”.
“We all do our part Clark, otherwise it’s just anarchy”, Grizz’s voice got deeper, making it a point to not give Clark any eye contact.
“Yeah yeah…anarchy…”, Clark finished off another beer, a type or ring hitting the wood table as he set his bottle down.
“I don’t think Campbell would mind that…”, Luke threw another chip on the pile.
“Don’t you mean Harry?”, Grizz gave a taunting eyebrow as his sarcastic tone followed - placing a point of who he really thought was in power at the moment.
“Nah man, we can trust them with our lives. They’ve treated us the best so far”, Jason took a shot of what was ever closest to him, not really caring what went down his throat.
“We’ve known them all our lives - maybe that’s the problem”, Luke was still contemplating his mind with his recent decisions.
“That doesn’t mean you really know them”, Grizz was still treating the table with his disappointment in them all. He blurted his words, as his mind was still on Sam. As much as Grizz had given Sam a hard time for being truthful about Becca - he had been keeping a secret to his closest friends for years. Granted, six months ago, Grizz didn’t think he would still be friends with the table that surrounded him now. How did he want to live?
“Circumstances have changed”, Grizz messed with the cards in his hand, choosing his words carefully as he was debating to divulge something for about the fifth time in a matter of months.
“What is that supposed to mean?’, Clark’s words were slurrying heavier now.
"It just means”, Grizz gave a sigh mid-sentence, “that we aren’t the same people we were six months ago. This whole town isn’t. And I don’t think any of us were to going to be anyway before the night with the buses. We were all going to change after this summer…”. Grizz finally made eye contact with Luke, as he knew Luke had more of an understanding of life than the others at the table.
“I’m still the same person”, Jason gave point to his voice of bellowing.
“Are you sure you would have done the same things you would have six months ago?”. Grizz had taken the week, learning what had happened to Lexi to spark such a change of power in the first place.
“For the right reasons I would have”, Jason tried to cover a hiccup.
“Sure…sure you would have”, Luke had disdain in his voice, but mostly for his own actions.
“What matters is that we’re all still here now”, Clark gave a jeer with his bottle attempting to make a toast.
“What’s going to change that if not a different…universe”. Jason seemed proud of himself getting the explanation right.
“Exactly what you said”, a pause lingered as they all looked to Grizz. “who we really are”. Grizz locked eyes with all of his friends as the pause went further, them all assuming Grizz meant the state of things in New Ham.
“And what do I not know about you Grizzman? I’ve known you since you were 12”, Luke tried to cut the tension.
“What you expect to know of me, yes”, Grizz began to shuffle the cards as the game didn’t really seem to matter anymore. “Just like them. Clark there, his girlfriend hasn’t been his girlfriend in months, all to keep rations and a room to share before this whole Harry thing…don’t worry, I don’t care. My point is, we have bigger problems than worrying about people in the same house”.
“Harry isn’t going to change that back anyway…”, Clark mumbled under his breath.
“No no, hold on. Why are you talking about all of this anyway? Is this about you?”, Luke tried to get where Grizz was coming from - or for what point.
Grizz’s gut was overwhelmed, mostly nerves trying to get the better of him. “I’m…gay”.
“Huh”, Clark said under his breath.
Silence lingered on between the table, Luke prepping his throat. “Were you going to tell us…before all of this I mean?”, he gave motion to the room but Grizz knew he meant New Ham.
Grizz gave a calm look, “I don’t know. Before all of this, we were going different ways, I don’t know”. Luke gave a mild nod to the answer.
“Didn’t you have, RELATIONS with other girls though?”, Jason was trying to recall the past years.
Grizz nodded, “yes but if I was with a girl, I was always drinking, and it never….well it never felt right. Or was right…”.
They all pondered their quietness, somewhat hoping another would speak next.
“So….”, Clark moved his chips around on the table, “which one of us did you have a crush on?”, he quirked his eyebrows in jest to Grizz.
Grizz laughed quietly as the others roared with the question. “Trust me, none of you”. The rest of them kept their laugh.
Luke took the deck of cards from Grizz, shuffling them while giving some thought to his next words. “Is there…someone?”.
Grizz gave a nod, finally opening a second beer and taking a large swig. “Sam…”, saying his name out loud was still a little hard as nothing had been resolved since he left for the expedition.
“Doesn’t that guy have a baby?”, Jason blurted his words, never being one to have an internal filter. Clark gave a shove to his shoulder for him to shut up.
“It’s complicated”, Grizz’s nose went up as he thought back to the last several weeks. “But I care about him”.
Luke nodded, “well then, that’s all that matters in the long run. Especially for a place like here”. Luke gave a pat to Grizz’s back. Grizz thought back to his worry over the years with his friends. What they would think of him, their reactions. But he looked over the table, another round of betting going, seeing that nothing had really changed. At least, not when it came to himself.
