Part 1

You were on a mission with shinobu and the kamaboko squad ( forgive me if I got the name wrong for the squad :c )

You were patient with zenitsu the whole time as he whined about being scared of the demon. You even protected him from it ! This caused his love for you to increase, he gives you flowers when you guys were done with the mission ! Zenitsu, being the gentleman he is, offered to walk you home !

Of course, you accepted, but what you didn't expect was for muichiro, to be waiting outside his mansion for you. When muichiro saw zenitsu walking with you, oh boy did he freak out, your hand holding flowers too !!

Muichiro ran up to you before throwing an insult at zenitsu ," Get out of here, you nincompoop, before you get whats coming to you. " Muichiro then pulled you into his body as he wrapped his arms around you protectively.

The both of you went inside his mansion as he sat you down inbetween his legs while his head sat on top of your head and asked ," Do you like Zenitsu ? " You were taken aback when you first heard this, it sounded like he was jealous. "Are you jealous ? " You asked as he mumbled "N-no...".You didn't say anything further as you were wrapped in your master's warmth.

It just randomly popped up in my mind, gonna have to squeeze me brain juices to think about what to continue. Ehe~

A/n: Muichiro and the reader are both 14 in this so it’s all light fluff and nothing steamy. Also i got this idea from this prompt generator! It was so cute i couldn’t resist *ugly sobbing*

“Teach me how to kiss.”

You very nearly impaled yourself on your sword. He seemed unimpressed by your near-death experience. His unfocused blue eyes remained glued to your own as you shakily sheathed back your sword in its scabbard. You must have mis-heard, right?

“Pardon?” Your voice came out shrill. You ran a hand through your hair to smooth it back down due to how disheveled it’d gotten from your training.

He sighed. “I asked you to teach me how to kiss. I’ve never kissed before.”

“And why the sudden interest?” You countered. Your eyes darted to anywhere but his face. “And also, what makes you think i know how to kiss?”

He shrugged, nonchalantly kicking away a pebble. “I’m curious to what it feels like. Besides, you’re pretty. Haven’t you had a lover before?”

Ah, now your mind was a jumble of thoughts fighting for dominance to be the one you ought to reflect on. You turned your head to the side and slid your sword into the belt that hung around your waist, doing your best to appear suave and calm. But you could feel his gaze on your fingers. He could see them shaking. And your heart was beating so harshly you were afraid it’d burst out of your ribcage.

“Not to appear rude, Tokito-san, but you’re-supposed to be helping me out with my swings..” you trailed off. He narrowed his eyes ever so lightly at you.

“But they are becoming less and less precise. At this rate you’ll behead yourself.”

He was right, of course, but that didn’t make his statement any more embarrassing to you. It’s been hours since you’ve began training and your arm was just about ready to fall off. At this point you were just delaying what was seemingly becoming the inevitable.

You..didn’t mind kissing him. You’d always thought he was kind of cute. But he was a hashira and you were a Kanoto, surely he wouldn’t have ever taken an interest in you. And it’s not like being a Demon Slayer gave you much leeway to be in a relationship. Besides, your mentor had always told you not to rush in finding a partner.

You are still so young, she’d said. You have a duty to complete.

And the most disturbing part, was figuring out why he suddenly wanted to kiss you. Was he interested in another girl? The mist pillar wouldn’t simply use you to try and woo someone else, would he?

Your cheeks were suddenly being pulled on and you whined, trying to swat away his hands. « Ow! Shtop-«  you grumbled. « Tokito-shan! »

You could have been imagining it, but there was the slightest ghost of a smile on his face. « We made a deal. I’d help you out with your swings and you’d help me out with something. You have to make good on your promise, »

Oh, so you can barely remember my name but you can remember that? If only you could say it outloud.

You resigned yourself to your fate with a strong exhale. « But i don’t know how to kiss. I’ve never kissed before, » the words came out hot and fast. Your cheeks were burnt.

« Oh, » for the first time since you’ve met him, he seemed truly stumped. « Oh.. okay. » his hands fell to his sides and he settled for simply staring you down. It was unnerving to be his main focus of attention, his gaze was soft but also..so intense. You felt like he could see through you. But goodness, he had such pretty eyes. They were like glass.

Then he was leaning towards you and you felt heat creep up your cheeks again. You sucked in a breath and screwed your eyes shut, your shoulders tensed, your fists instinctively clenched. Then there was the faintest smell of daikon, and chapped lips were pressed against your cheek. Your eyes snapped open and for a moment you forgot you how to breathe. He didn’t pull away immediately either, he let his lips linger on your skin for seconds that might as well have been hours and then did he pulled away, just the slightest but he was still pretty much in your face. He wouldn’t stop staring at you.

« I think this is good for a start. » he announced. His voice dripped with undetected smugness. Which you had the chance to detect.

Just when you thought you’d pass out because gosh darn it you were beginning to feel light-headed, a loud thud resonated from behind you and both Muichiro and you looked back to see the love hashira on the ground.

genya regularly receives check-ups at the Butterfly Mansion, thus you tend to bump into him a ton!

this is where things start to take a turn. . . he stops getting so angry and quick to shut you down. . . and instead, he starts watching you train a little more, keeping idle tabs on your schedule, daydreaming of you when he should be focusing on training. . .

then it hits him:

he's got a crush ?!

to this boy love literally feels lethal.

he can't function. at all. he's unable to stand or talk to you for more than a few seconds without becoming flustered and wracked with nerves.

so loving you from afar is the simplest-easiest option.

he stares a ton, and tries hard not to get caught.

daydreams when he shouldn't- and at the worst times- you can only get punched in the face while training so many times before you start to wonder if having a crush is really worth it.

i'm pretty sure anyone could see the reason this quick-tempered boy suddenly turns shy when he's around you.

and he hates admitting it. (what is he supposed to do? he's never been in love before?)

there are times when he's 100% undoubtably sure that you're busy- or far, far away from the scene of the crime. . . he'll sneak into your room (after double checking that the coast is clear, again) he'll leave a few wildflowers next to your nightstand.

just the thought that he's showing romantic affection towards you has his heart palpitating. . . even if it is, technically indirect.

has him paranoid as hell, like somehow even after all his precautions, you'll just know it was him. if you suspect him, or bring it up, he'll vehemently deny everything.

(whenever he leaves flower btw, it'll be up to a week before he works up the courage to bring another bunch, and in between he tries to garner the courage to talk to you. . . without success)

he'd actually get pretty comfortable with this scenario, and eventually saves up enough to produce a small vase to hold all the flowers.

and it feels like the biggest step yet!

its a painfully simple pot, and he feels he could do better, but he's tied a woven red string around the neck to help. . . at least a little.

you know. . . in the future he could tie notes to it. the thought has his ears burning red hot, and he flees the scene just as quickly.

honestly, it doesn't fully occur to him that he is a secret admirer at first.

he just one day happens to notice you because you caught his eye. nothing in particular, there was just something. . . bright about your presence.

your eyes? your smile? who could really say. all he knows is that your very interesting to look at when you're around.

even your voice catches his attention, like the sound of bells to his ears. its calming and also so alluring? how are you able to charm him like this?

the couple times you caught him staring he looked away quickly, then he starts wondering why he's afraid of being caught?

that's when the idea of an idea starts to form in his head.

a crush!

honestly, i think he'd smile to himself at the thought. its all very confusing and all very new and exciting!

he'd stare a ton and try to be subtle. . . but then fail at that too. (at this point he's just standing beside a tree rather than behind it?)

muichiro gifts you things that remind him of you: things that are eye-catching and interesting to him.

. . . something that holds his attention as much as you do. . .

mostly things he's found, like the shiniest shells or rocks, broken ornaments or porcelain he's found. the best would probably be a tiny pearl he. . . acquired.

instructs his crow to deliver them to you, which in turn means you get hit in the head with said object- you don't need a more obvious clue to know that his crow hates. your. guts. (don't worry she's just a little jealous)

at first, he completely forgets that he's sent anything to you at all.

until he see's you holding them and it all connects.

silently hopes you to make the connection too. and i don't think he'd mind being caught at all. (its kind of like a fun game he's playing, that subsequently causes the faintest blush to appear across the bridge of his nose)

thinks about you maybe a bit too much, and starts to get excited at the prospect of being in love or a relationship! what would it be like to hold your hand, or even have all of your attention for once? (now he's just smiling up at the clouds like an adorable idiot)

if he writes anything (a note?) its just doodles and drawings he's done that he then hands over to his crow to deliver.

actually very fond of leaving you snacks too. . . or straight up offering to share while (innocently) asking you what ❛all those things in your hands❜ are.

The sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters. Muichiro stood by the wisteria vines, their delicate petals swaying in the evening breeze. His mind, however, was anything but quiet, his thoughts running faster by the second.

He had been dating Y/N for a while now—though sometimes he wondered if he was truly worthy of her. She was kind, strong, and patient, always there to listen to his ramblings about his techniques and quite random things. And yet, there were moments when he forgot the simplest things.

Like the fact that they were dating.

“Y/N,” he called out, spotting her near the training grounds. She turned, her eyes brightening when she saw him. Her hair was tied back, and her cheeks were flushed from practice.

“Muichiro?” she said, hurrying over to him. “What’s on your mind?”

He scratched his head, trying to find the right words. “I… um, wanted to ask you something...”

Her smile widened. “Go ahead.”

He took a deep breath. “Would you like to be my girlfriend?”

Her laughter echoes his mind. “Muichiro, we’re already dating.”

His eyes widened. “We...are?”

“Yes,” she said, stepping closer. “You asked me out a few weeks ago.”

“Oh.” He blinked. “I did?”

She nodded, her fingers brushing against his. “You’re adorable, you know that? Always lost in your thoughts.”

Muichiro’s cheeks heated up. “I’m sorry. I forget things sometimes.”

“It’s okay,” she said. “I like you just the way you are.”

And then, without hesitation, she leaned in and kissed him. Muichiro’s heart fluttered, and for a moment, he forgot everything—the battles, the demons, even his own name. All that mattered was Y/N and the warmth of her lips against his.

As they pulled away, he whispered, “I won’t forget this.”

She laughed softly. “Promise?”

“Promise...” he replied, intertwining their fingers.

It had been years since he felt truly at home somewhere. It wasn’t just comfort of those around him, he had nezuko and that was all he need. No matter where he was he had her, and his founded family. But here, with you, was something familiar but distant…

The house smelled of cinnamon, he woke up in fresh clothes and sheets under him. He was warm and felt at peace. He had no idea why this didn’t just feel like a safe house. When he woke up he saw his clothes cleaned and repaired, the holes and blood stains no longer in them. And a cute hair pin for nezuko, which she was hopping up and down for.

When they made their way down the hallway the sweet smell got stronger and it made his mouth water. Nez was the first one to open the kitchen door and rush in, with a hum and a brightened look on her face.

He felt his heart warm as you smiled sweetly at her, flour on your cheek and sweat on your forehead from the warm room. “Come sit down,” you move your hands to show a nicely made sitting area with plates already prepared. “Hope it’s to your liking” He looked at the plates, nez couldn’t eat the food and he felt bad to bring this to your attention, until he looked closely. It wasn’t food at all but pretending food, like for children to play with.

You felt so homely to be around, like one his mom used to have. “I’m also making cookies, because you deserve it.” Tanjiro just looked at you for a minute and let his body take in the feeling of warmth. The sunshine in front of him with all its glory..

He was very grateful and thanked you, he shouted at how nice you had been to him and that he would make up for it. But you refused any help he offered around the house. So for the short time he stayed there, he cherished every second.

(Platonic)

He had never met anyone as gentle as you and he wondered how you got into this line of work, or made it this far without being killed. You weren’t a demon slayer, but a doctor for the near by demon slayers. You ran a safe house, cooked and clean and hosted anyone who needed it.

You ran your hands softly along his arm with some medicine that was cold, he just sat there. He could barely feel you, and he knew if it wasn’t for the medicine being cold he wouldn’t feel it at all. Usually, these things sting the wound but that didn’t happen. “You should get some rest when I’m done here, I’ll bring you a change of clothes.” You smiled at him.

He just looked plainly at you and slowly blinked, but speaking to you. “Do you prefer a red or a blue tooth brush?” What kind of question was that? Really, why would he care. A few seconds you realize he wouldn’t crack but that didn’t hurt you in the slightest. People take time, or maybe they never open up at all. It didn’t matter, as long as they are happy.

You patched him up from every scratch to every bigger wound. You never once let go of your smile, or didn’t try and talk to him when he wasn’t comfortable in doing so. The silence wasn’t filled with tension, it was calming to say the least. Your carful touches and your soft breaths, it was almost like being taken care of a mother…

You stood up when you were all done and clapped your hands slightly together and opened a  cabinet. Pulling out a few things, a blue toothbrush, a small towel, a pair of socks and what caught his eyes the most…

A blue lollipop.

“You don’t have to eat it, but all my patients get a treat.” Your voice beamed as you hand him the candy. He stared at it confused and then back up at you. It was very soft, like not even a inch but his lips curled up. “Thank you.” He said quietly.

You just giggled and help him to his room. He didn’t know why you just smiled and acted like a angel. But, it was a nice change.

While tanjiro chopped firewood, something he begged you to let him do and wouldn’t stop asking about, she had a moment alone with you. She sat beside you, the sun had just set and you did some of your work.

You hummed a sweet tune as you wash the clothes, in your own little world. She stared at you and enjoyed the sound, it was nice to her. Maybe it was a glimpse of the passes when her mother would sing to her and her siblings. Whatever the reason, she was loving this moment.

That was until you stop humming the song, maybe it came to a end but she glared slightly, not mean or anything but in confusion. You heard her make a sound and found her staring at you with her head titled to the side.

You just smiled, “What is it, Nezuko?” You asked with a cheery tone. She just inched closer and tried to hum like you had, her nails pointing at you. “Oh, is this about my humming?” You chuckle as she nodded her head at a rapid speed. “Do you want more?”

When she agreed you smiled, continued to hum a new song your mother had once taught you. A weight pressed on your shoulder and your heart flutter in awe. She closed her eyes and listened to you continue to make the sweet sounds, her face happy and calm.

You knew this moment was more important to you. The place got lonely at times but with the siblings staying you couldn’t help but feel a hole being replaced. It was healing for you in a way, to hum for her like your mother used to do when you slept.

The sun shined brightly, as you made your way through the dirt path. Each step you made left dust behind, as you quickened your pace.

Your heart skipped a beat when you caught sight of Muichiro, your boyfriend. The corners of your lips tugged upwards, forming a smile on your face, as you started to sprint towards him, wich made him turn around to the sound of your shoes tapping on the path.

Unfortunately, fate had other plans for you. You tripped over your other foot, and went flying forwards, falling face flat on the ground.

Muichiro's eyes widened in surprise, lips twitching with a hint of a chuckle. He made his way to you, crouching down as he took your hand in his, pulling you back to your feet.

Once you got up, you threw yourself into Muichiro. You gently wrap your arms around him, feeling the warmth of his embrace as you hold him close, cherishing the moment togheter.

“I missed you!” You exclaimed as your grip got tighter.

“It's only been about a week, i think...” Muichiro spoke in his usual quiet and calm tone, lowering his voice.

“It's still too long!” You claimed while pulling away from him, already missing the comforting warmth.

Muichiro nodded his head, a smile making its way on his face. It was rare to see him smile, and your heart instantly started beating faster, a faded blush slowly rising on your face.

“Get up, it's starting to get dark.” Muichiro mentioned, watching your relaxed expression.

“No... Five more minutes!” You whined, head laying back, hitting the tree trunk, making you flinch slightly at the impact.

“No, i'm not waiting anymore. You've been sleeping for what feels like too long!” He replied, his voice slightly higher than usual.

“It's only been like... 3 hours...” You muttered while looking around with squinted eyes.

“Come on, we have to go back...”

“No!”

“Fine then, i'm leaving without you.”

Muichiro began to walk away from the tree you were resting against, as you glanced towards his form.

“What? No! Don't leave!”

You crawled a little, forcing yourself to your feet as you ran towards him. All of the sudden, you tripped over a small stone, and fell hard on the path, making Muichiro turn towards you.

“Ow!” You winced as you made contact with the ground.

Muichiro quickly walked up to you, picking you up and examining you for any possible injuries.

The only thing he caught a glimpse of was a small bruise on your cheek.

“You're fine... But be more careful...” He stated while taking your hand in his, gently brushing his other hand on your bruised cheek.

You started pouting and you looked like you could cry any moment, but instantly smiled and quickly kissed Muichiro's lips, before pulling away and running as far as possible from him, tripping and falling down yet again.

The small town was filled with noises, crowds everywhere, people eager to buy anything.

Mitsuri brought you and Muichiro to check out some stuff there, since you didn't usually go anywhere with your boyfriend.

But, something had been bothering you for some time ever since Mitsuri went to buy food for the three of you...

You glared at the girl who dared to set her gaze upon your boyfriend, heart beating faster.

You didn't know her, and you were sure he didn't know her either. Your face heated up, and you started getting a headache.

Her voice seemed so annoying, and yet Muichiro wasted his breath just talking to her.

You couldn't stand it anymore, and you wandered towards Muichiro, clinging onto his arm.

“Hello! Am i interrupting something? Do i know you?” You asked sweetly, trying not to seem too jealous.

“No, excuse me, i just wanted to know-”

“Ask someone else.” You replied with a kind smile, tilting your head at the girl.

The girl looked puzzled, but shrugged her shoulders and left. Muichiro raised his eyebrows, his eyes setting on you.

“What was that...?” He asked in a quiet voice.

“What was what? She wasn't supposed to be talking to you.”

“She wasn't... Flirting...”

“She... She wasn't?” You started to feel slightly embarassed, since you thought she was making sweet eyes at him earlier.

You felt sorry that you spoke to the poor girl in such a mean tone, and felt the need to go back to her and apologize, but you had other plans right now.

“It doesn't matter, let's go and find miss Kanroji!” You smiled brighter, taking his hand in yours, wandering through the loud crowd of people.

Muichiro accidently injures his tsugko during training.

Hello !! This is my first time writing a fanfic. I'm so so soooo sorry if I make any mistakes ! I prefer writing a character one by one, but feel free to ask for any characters. I'll try my best to write for them !

This fanfic is a short one though, I'm sorry.

You were woken up to the gentle rays of the sun. You were excited as today was the day, your first training as Muichiro's tsugko. You didn't really expect him to agree to train you at first, but boy were you wrong. He accepted you and decided to agree to train you.

That brings you back to now, you were putting on your uniform and got ready to train, you walked outside to Muichiro waiting for you.

"Let's begin training shall we ?" Muichiro stated, you held your wooden sword and put on a stance in prepare to block his slashes.

In the midst of the training, he accidently hit your head with the sword as blood started trickling down. Muichiro panicked as he carried you and bought you to the butterfly mansion in a flash. You lost consciousness when you were being carried.

Shinobu treated your wound and bandaged your head before telling Muichiro that you need to rest for 2 days at most. Muichiro stayed by your side all the time as he held your hand saying ," I'll be more careful next time, I swear." while you were sleeping, before kissing your forehead and falling asleep by your side.

You woke up later on, seeing muichiro by your side sleeping. You felt bad as he slept uncomfortably, you called out his name while shaking him lightly. "Your gonna get a sore back if you sleep like that..." you sighed as you watch muichiro slowly stir awake. "Your awake ? I'm sorry i hit your head" you heard muichiro mumble as he apologised to you. You pat his head and told him that it was fine, muichiro then hugs you. You feel happy to be embraced in his warmth as you enjoy this moment of bliss shared between you and your master.

"Ok" that's his reaction, he was surprised but doesn't seem to show it he said "You were born with something special, if you were born with a gift you need to strengthen it, right?"

He isn't surprised when he finds out you couldn't even wield a nichirim blade.

Eventually, if he ends up seeing objects floating by dark magic, he'll think he's a demon.

When he realizes it's you, he scolds you saying you shouldn't use your powers for your own good.

Obanai Iguro

Asks a bunch of useless questions about your powers.

Him seems interested, if you tease him about it he will retaliate with sarcasm.

Eventually he just watches you and fixes it in his mind away from you.

•He’s going to follow you everywhere.

•He doesn’t know why he does it. He doesn’t remember you that well either, only little glimpses here and there of your training, your teachings, your kindness towards him..

•He can’t quite put his finger on it, but you remind him of a certain someone, you remind him of home.

•So you’ll be going everywhere with him following behind like a puppy, as long as he hasn’t been assigned any mission.

•The other hashiras have started to joke that you adopted him, rather than just take him in as a student but he strangely takes pride in that.

•He’s protective of you, too. It isn’t overwhelming, he know that as a Hashira, you are more than capable of defending yourself.

•But he is always there whenever he senses that you may be even just slightly in danger.

•If any of your colleagues try to so much as throw an insult your way, he might just end up chucking rocks at them like he did with Tanjiro.

•He doesn’t talk to you much, honestly. He’s fond of your presence and just being close to you and doesn’t find the need to make small talk.

•But if you do engage in conversation, he won’t ignore you either. It might not seem like he is listening, but he is and he takes note of every small detail.

•Since supposedly, Muichiro likes origami, he’ll definitely be making you lots of those.

•Your room will have small jars or bowls filled with origami swans, stars, etc..

•His personality, to you, isn’t much different from what he projects onto his comrades, but he is slightly warmer and more expressive with you.

•If you are kneeling down doing anything, he might just end up plopping down next to you. He’ll then just rest his head on your lap. Fully expects you to stay there and let him sleep, too.

•If you move, he’ll be pouty the entire day.

•He doesn’t really like other people touching his hair, but you’re allowed to braid it. You use that to your advantage, dear reader.

•He’ll try to compliment you at times, since he thinks he needs to do so to be a good friend to you, but his compliments will end up being the bluntest, and sometimes least expected ones.

•Please learn to take it in a good way, however, because he doesn’t mean bad and really, he’s doing his best.

•He sits by your side during pillar meetings. No questions asked.

•Another one of his hobbies include cloud-gazing during which he’ll try to show you all the shapes he can see.

•He’s quite sad over the fact that he doesn’t remember your name very well and to make up for this, he comes up with simple titles like sensei to remember you by. On rare occasions, specially on days when he’s feeling content, he’ll unconsciously refer to you as nee-san.

•His favorite dish is apparently radish simmered in broth, and he appreciates it a lot whenever you make it for him.

•He sends you notes via his crow while on missions, sometimes accompanied with a paper plane if he has additional paper and if he doesn’t, a flower will suffice.

•You better not die on him, or his behavior will take a turn for the worst.

Their first initial reaction is being upset; not at you but rather at themselves.

Did they do something? Did they make you uncomfortable? Is it their smell? Did they hug too tight?

All of them are unique in their response. While the much older and stronger Hashira’s will respect and follow your decision, however, like Mitsuri, Muichiro, and Uzui will be bummed out.

They’re all touch-starved (even Uzui!), and they love to touch and smother you in loving embraces; even Sanemi and Obanai.

Though, they will be respectful of your decision and try to keep their distance.

However, under certain conditions, such as going out in public with a lot of people or protecting you from something, they will touch you and guide you somewhere else.

The most understanding ones are Gyomei, Obanai, and Shinobu; at times, Rengoku. They nod at you and simply try to stay away from touching you. Even if you're not listening to them.

Sanemi, Mitsuri, and Uzui are also respectful. But at times, they will push the limits or simply forget about it.

Sometimes they'll grab your hand to pull you along the journey with them or pick you up over their shoulders as they want attention.

Muichiro and Giyu are 50/50 on it. Muichiro, will at times forget and simply grab your hand or pull your haori.

Though, Giyu would simply respect your boundaries and wouldn't even touch you; only throwing you like a bag of potatoes when you're in danger.

Overall, they all respect your decision. But there may be some ups and downs about it.

Genya was always flustered around women. It was just in his nature! He would blush any time a girl would speak a word to him.

And Muichiro hated that.

He didn't care about Genya, not at all. Well, that is, until he decided talking to you.

“It's cause i noticed Genya!” You forced a smile, feeling nervous.

“So? That doesn't mean we have to stop walking.” He changed his tone, his voice now sharper.

“I just wanted to greet him-”

“You could've greeted him while we were walking.” He interrupted, jealousy lacing in his words.

Genya stood there uncomfortably. He was forcing an embarassed smile, his back uncomfortably straight, pretending to look somewhere else.

“You love me, right?” That didn't sound like a question. “You love me more than anyone. Don't you?”

“Of course..” You replied, gaze softening.

“What do you see in him?” He asked sharply, now glancing away from you.

“What?” Your voice quieted down, looking at him in disbelief.

“He's not a Hashira. He doesn't even have a breathing style of his own.”

That hit, low.

Genya's brows raised as his fists clenched. He then looked down at his feet, jaw tightening in shame.

You expected Genya to bark back, but he didn't. He was surprisingly quiet.

“Muichiro!” You scolded, your boyfriend's attention now fully on you.

You grabbed his wrists, bowing slightly down to Genya.

“I'm sorry, he didn't mean that! Bye, Genya!”

“But i did-”

You put a hand over his mouth, walking away in a faster pace. Once you got far enough from Genya, you stopped in your tracks, eyes upon Muichiro.

“What the heck is wrong with you?! That's not something you just say to your girlfriend's friend!” You argued.

His eyes widened, looking flabbergasted. He took a step back, before his eyes narrowed again, lips forming a frown.

“Are you... Jealous?” You asked, voice barely above a whisper.

His brows furrowed togheter, before his gaze softened once more.

“Jealous? Me?” He asked once more, lips quivering, indicating a held back laugh.

“Don't lie...” You glared at him in annoyance, before sighing, pinching your temple.

“Listen... This, it's...”

You wanted to say 'stupid', but you understood his jealousy. You don't like it when Muichiro gets too close to another girl either.

You also understood that he needed assurance, he needed you to assure him that he's your one and only.

You placed your hands on his cheeks, pulling him in for a quick and short kiss on the lips.

His eyes widened as his cheeks were now a tinted pink. He still complied, closing his eyes before you pulled away.

You smiled at him, yet Muichiro's face still looked emotionless.

You then kissed his right cheek, then his left, then his forehead, nose, jaw, everything...

He blushed harder, before his lips started quivering again, then letting out a chuckle.

You loved that sound more than anything. At moments like these, seeing Muichiro smile... It was rare yet just so adorable to see...

“I love you, Muichiro... I love you a lot, more than anything or anyone.” You assured him, his gaze softening, a small smile displayed on his perfect lips.

“More than Genya?” He spoke quietly, Genya's name coming out of his mouth like venom, it was almost like he hissed out his name in disgust.

“More thank Genya.” You smiled, placing a soft kiss on his nose.

Muichiro's smile widened. He pulled you into a warm embrace, so meaningful and perfect. You didn't want to pull away, ever.

“I... Love you too.” He spoke quietly, still hugging you, his grip tightening around you.

You knew it was hard for Muichiro to say such a thing, it was so pleasing to hear those words coming out of his mouth. Not just his mouth, but his heart, too.

“Tokito!” You heard a recognizable gentle yet energetic voice call out.

It was none other than Tanjiro. Thanks to him for ruining such a perfect and romantic moment... Yet you could never be mad at him!

“Tanjiro!” Muichiro's voice lightened up, pulling away from you.

Oh how you wish his voice would always sound like that when he's talking to you...

Now, it was your turn to be jealous.
