🌸 the blog/s that most inspires me.

there's a few blogs that inspire me that i have gotten to write with, and it's just because i am enjoying the content that's being put out. there's also a lot of people here who are just so downright creative whether that pertains to character graphics, the way they write their characters ect. @sm4llville (once again sorry for the callout big, is one of those people who really gets that clark kent interpretation, y'know?? also i have only gotten to know them briefly but @loisl4ne with her interpretation of THAT lois lane from that show?? we love smallville here, i will tolerate no hate. jks you can be critical of the show but smallville has importance here.

going over towards the marvel side, it's been really cool seeing all these different takes, the way people have tailored all these characters in a way that's true to them but also adding a touch of themselves. gonna say just say point blank that i am still new to comic books so the mcu has honestly been my gateway to marvel but seeing @startaxian (astro) and @kingspartax (eli's) take on peter quill / star-lord has been such a joyride. i really love peter quill and i'll always get excited about new portrayals that take him further and beyond with what the mcu originally did for him because he such a fun character that deserves the world. @fntstic, @soulbarer and @diam1nd are also always just a positive space on my dash. like i said, don't know much about marvel characters outside their visual media appearances so i have been learning a lot just through their portrayals and dior (i really am loving all the fluffy shenanigans booster and emma are going through even if they are really slow and drawn out from my end)

taking it over to the dc side of things, @rotinto's take on poison ivy is so much fun with all their aesthetics and the prose being used in their writing. there was a lot of thought there with your portrayal and she's just so great, cunning, sultry and all those things i love about her and i do love the little horror you have incorporated all around. i am just having a blast with the little thread thing we have going on. it's campy, and a very booster coded encounter. few blogs that i also follow / have just started following but will get a shoutout because: @supurman, @identitysolved, @themiscira, @bruz3r i actually dont follow many dc blogs?? rip. the fandom is pretty tiny.

they've had such a long tiring day and they miss you terribly. all they want to do is lay on your lap while you play with his hair. his day perks up when he sees you though.

he sneaks up behind you and you're unaware he's there, that is, until he grabs a hold on your plush tummy and squeezes you, causing you to squeal. you've never really liked having someone pinch or grab your stomach, most people wouldn't and you always slap people's hands away, these people meaning your boyfriend. who takes immense pleasure out of the situation feeling your soft round body spill between his fingers, heavenly.

he could listen to the noises you make out of surprise when it happens all of the time. when you grumble afterwards about how he's such a meanie. you'll grumble and complain about it halfheartedly but never straight up tell him to stop, if you did he would. he just grins every time. a laugh escapes their mouth every single time, you yelp and jump away from him. every time he greets you the same way. he always making up any excuse he can to be able to get his hands on you. grab, pull, pinch, squeeze, squish they're doing it, they can't get enough of you and your soft body, they love you so much.

Whoops, there went the fake-posh accent. Oh well: Vanellope, waving her hands for the other to slow down, was far more curious about what was being said here. As far as she was concerned, there was only Sugar Rush and... well, that was it. Wasn't like they were a franchise, least as far as she knew.

Or was this another thing that she'd missed the memo on while she'd been branded a glitch, and that no-one had thought to fill her in on? The game had been around for like a decade by now at least, after all.

"Lemme see those..."

Leaning dangerously far over the edge of her branch, she stretched to try and grab the phone and take a closer look, found it still beyond her limited reach. Frowning, Vanellope glitched down to the ground besides her visitor, doing her best to snatch the phone out of her hands in passing.

(She'd give it back, of course. She just wanted to flick through it at her own pace.)

Of course, the glitching alone might clue the other into the fact that something wasn't quite as she was expecting. After all, it wasn't exactly like she was your typical version of the character: there wasn't a Vanellope in all the other Sugar Rush cabinets of the world who was quite like her, Vanellope was certain. No other game's version of her would have the experiences she did, or her glitchy superpower...

She might be about to get some sort of reaction, the little racer was sure.

Random Drabble - Rock Musician AU has me VERY intrigued :)

Hiii and thank you for your kind ask @ultrarebelheart/@illegalcerebral! <3 This is in response to this WIP Game.

It's an Adar/Celebrimbor (silverscars) Modern!AU oneshot, with Celebrimbor as an A&R rep for a music label and Adar as the lead singer of a band Celebrimbor wants to acquire for the label.

Fun fact: I started this one-shot, got distracted by my current multi-chapter fic, and continued it about 4-5 weeks later, something I haven't done very often before.

Second fun fact: What this was meant to be was a small PWP one-shot. What it ended up being - so far, since I haven't gotten around to editing it yet - is an incredibly long PWP one-shot. Oops?

And of course I can share a small snippet as well, hope you like it! :D

And then there was Adar himself; with his dark, long hair, scarred body, the way his top clung to his torso and how his all-black clothes complemented his pale skin, he cut a striking figure already – and he had the attractive face to match it –, but this guy also had a stage presence that could rival the best of the business.

He appeared self-assured, smug even, in his performance, but there was also a fragility underneath, a sense of vulnerability that Celebrimbor could not deny was intensely alluring. All this drenched in an inherent sensuality that permeated every single performance, be it an aggressive song that spoke of rebellion, a ballad grieving the mistakes of the past, or indeed a song that spoke of romance and of unfulfilled desire coupled with a need for beauty and companionship.

By the end of the performance, Celebrimbor had understood both the appeal of the band itself and the reason why Gil-Galad had sent him out here to try and win them over. This group was almost guaranteed to make it big one day, as they had a real talent that could be harnessed, encouraged and improved upon.
