TxT and Fluffy Hair: a wonderful relationship~ Part 3: The Pure Bunny 🐇

Hello and welcome back on this amazing series where I try to convince you that curly hair/perm hair (aka The Floof) are the best haircut ever made.

We finally reached our third TxT member to analyse and this time we'll talk about someone who, uhm, seems to don't like The Floof. Don't get me wrong, for me he's perfect for The Floof, it's just him who prefers different haircuts than that.

Who am I talking about? Well I'm talking about...

SOOBIN!

Ah, my dear Soobin. Our precious leader, Odi's father and Bebe Rexha fanboy. Now, you wonder why I made that intro about him right? Well, let's say he made my pics' research very and I mean, VERY, difficult.

Seriously, finding pics of him with The Floof it's more difficult than finding the Saint Graal. It looks like he hates this haircut (affectionately).

"Well, maybe you didn't find too much pics of him because maybe this haircut doesn't fit him at all." You might say. And maybe you're right BUT, in my opinion, Soobin has a perfect shape for The Floof. It's just the hairstylers who don't want to use it too much (maybe to preserve his hair condition but I'll talk about it when I'll talk about the hair colour).

Don't believe me? Well, let's find out, then.

Starting from the face shape, Soobin has what it is seems to be an oval shape, which is one of the best shapes for The Floof.

His jawline is a little sharp, especially if you notice his profile, where it seems he has a V shape jawline. BUT don't be fooled by this. He's still soft and his rounded chin is the best proof of it.

His eyes have an almond shape, which is a good shape for The Floof but the bangs should not be too long. Again, I need to see the eyes, don't cover them, please! 😭

The full cheeks? He has them! He has the cheeks, especially when he smiles and the dimples come out!

So yes, as you've noticed, Soobin has the perfect face shape for The Floof. Let's celebrate with him being this happy and precious.

Now, let's go to the haircut and the hair colour.

Soobin is not used to long hair, which is something that I completely understand. His face shape shines the most with short hair BUT there's only one thing that I ask: his forehead must be a little uncovered. Not completely, because The Floof might not work with him, just a little.

Having the forehead a little uncovered works perfectly especially with the long bangs. Believe me, I will not complain if he'll have long bangs and the forehead a little uncovered.

Imagine him with floofy hair and the forehead uncovered like this. My gosh, how beautiful he would look 🥴

And the colour?

Listen, I understand that Soobin prefers to stick into basic colours/dark colours because he's worried about his hair condition. It also explains why he doesn't stick with The Floof too much. Perming your hair might damage them terribly if they're not good for it. And I'm glad he knows this and he choosed to save his hair condition instead of becoming bald before hitting his forties.

But I can dream and if one day Soobin will decide to go crazy and choosing one bright colour for him, in my opinion, he should come back to what is His Colour ™.

Ahem. AHEM.

I think we can all agree that the Blue Hour MV and the Minisode was a cultural reset, right? It was too much iconic, MOAs will never forget it for sure.

Blue is Soobin's colour. Every shade, even the most dark one fits him perfectly. Imagine him with The Floof and this colour on him. Don't wake me up if it'll happen 🥹

That's the end of this post. Probably this post might be the shortest one, but again, Soobin doesn't always show many different haircuts. His relationship with The Floof is a little complicated as you've noticed.

He doesn't show it too much, but when he does, he surely leaves a mark on us and our memory.

As we build up towards the release of HS3, I wanted to set out what has gone before and what Harry has already said - basically so when the inevitable happens we can try it make sense of what they are trying to sell us!

Harry Styles (May 2017)

Recorded in chunks LA and Jamaica 2016. Before and after Dunkirk.

Narratives - ha*lor, Kendall, Townes all as part of RS interview and Apple documentary. He talked about Townes for apple and the today show and in a crazy turn of events, was able to use the lyric for the song about her finding out he wrote the song! Amazing!The Kendall one they even brought back just as he went to Jamaica to record (literally two days before) Harry went on to say it wasn’t about a women but about himself. There was a book about pride and Harry wearing a dress in the album artwork. Also note, for SOTT promo which included RS, he posted the milkshake tweet not long after the article was released.

Plus papped with the chef the week of album release (lol) complete with shared Gucci shirt and photo from the kitchen of Erskine House. She posted on the day of his london show herself outside his house in a very distinctive jacket … which she then wore to the show. This was quickly walked back “he only met her a couple of times” and in came CR. In time for Dunkirk promo and then tour - lasting exactly one year.

Fine Line (Dec 2019)

Recorded during tour (according to post it’s) WS, Cherry, FL; in Malibu (Sept 2018) golden, falling and in Bath (Spring 2019) TPWK, Adore You, LU. How he wrote a break up song on tour… well 😝 also just to note CR had a documentary with her in it called cherry and she posted a pic of herself in the “canyon” and wearing cherry earrings - handy.

Lead single LU released on International Coming out day (Oct 2019) discussing themes of acceptance and the MV including both men and women.

Then Another RS interview, this time with Kid Harpoon dishing up the gf stories sold as about having sex and feeling sad - a heartbreak album with clear ref to CR and Harry referring to his “ex gf” for the apple interview (rare for him to use this wording) just to hammer it home, a voice note of her voice included and a pineapple on the artwork (she has a pineapple on her IG profile and a pineapple ass tattoo) on the CD the liner notes say it was included “with her permission”. This is omitted on the vinyl. In an interview she denied knowing. He was seen with her in the May showing her something on his phone. And after a year of it being missing, her ring and cardigan reappeared in time for promo … which is lucky as there is a line in a song about wearing her clothes. 🤪 Promo also included interviews where he talked about his sexuality and gender and dress pics/beauty papers and the SNL Sara Lee sketch. Liner notes included a pride flag in the studio and Harry wearing a shirt about blowjobs.

So. HS3 rumour has it will be Friday 12th Feb. Expect a single in January. With the cancelled Miami show and the Italy stunt it looks like they are carrying on keeping his name in the headlines before the launch- text book winter gf stuff - complete with insiders talking to People and US weekly.

Harry has said he was working during lockdown 1. He was seen at the same FL studio in Bath Aug 2020.

Kid Harpoon said early 2021 that not much had been written. The Sun, in autumn 2021, had articles about it being released “imminently” which was then denied - suggesting it wasn’t yet finished.

Harry arrived in LA mid July after MP filming and the Italy trip and was seen in a studio and with Tyler Johnson (place your bets that he is in the RS interview this time) before then doing the pleasing shoot and tour rehearsals (leaving not loads of time to record an album?)

In Dazed, interview done sept and at the Boston show, Harry said he’d assumed he wouldn’t do any writing while filming and yet he found that exploring the characters on screen helped him to see life through the “lens” of other people and he wrote loads. (Can we expect to see songs written through the lens of Tom - a closeted man who has to hide his love and pretend to love a woman??????) Dazed also continued the conversation about identity, the binary existence and saw him continue to wear what he wants. We also have My Policeman (which is obviously still in post production but will be released in 2022) promo on the horizon.

So what can we expect? I can’t see how there won’t be a narrative around the director. But in Dazed Harry shut down all talk of it (keeping his private life separate to work lol) and she was only allowed to allude to it - with all the subtlety of a baby elephant admittedly- but the reps wouldn’t confirm. Will it be, once again, something for all groups of fans? He’s never actually been in a proper “relationship” during promo. I find it hard to believe, given how it’s gone before, he’d want to talk on camera about it. They must know the fan reaction is VERY mixed. But there will be some hints - Italy? Friends to lovers themed? Settled? Some ref already hinted at? (My money is on board games or something that was on that Bode bag… something totally ham fisted that gives the game away)

Edit to add - Rob Sheffield was at the NYC shows - wouldn’t be surprised if he did an interview then.

It’s also very likely he recorded a Beats interview with Zane Lowe in November in LA (when his mum was around)

"A look into the future at what's to come."

I am not sure if I ever shared these here, but I was looking at them again the other day and I noticed something. The text on TOP's shots from the unreleased Still Life photoshoot says, "A look into the future at what's to come." I can't make out the rest. But now I have to wonder: was TOP's Still Life moon scene not set in the past, but in the future? Showing us the year(s) ahead?

Before Still Life's release YG prepared us for the song by describing it as being "about the members' past times." This was confirmed when we saw in the storyboards that parts of the music video covered BIGBANG's hiatus years from 2018-2022. However, in another press release on April 5th, YG elaborated on the contents of the music vid, saying the members "hinted at past, present, and future all at the same time on their respective sets."

Past. Present. And future.

The past-oriented parts of the MV are not hard to parse. Where they exit their lonely sets toward the end, singing "la la la," I think many of us thought marked the present as of April 5th, 2022. BIGBANG finally stepping out and becoming active again, the members regaining their momentum, just beginning to move as a group for the first time in a long time.

I think there was an especially strong tendency to interpret TOP's part on the moon as his past self, showing himself stuck in a state of intense isolation since the tragedy of 2017 -- physically, emotionally, and creatively distant. We thought April 5th marked the day he was removing his mask and beginning the journey home. Back to Earth, back to VIPS, back to BIGBANG. I certainly saw it that way. And maybe there is some truth to that.

But now I can't help thinking... could it be that TOP was altogether somewhere else on the Still Life timeline? That his time on the moon as shown to us was never past or present; always future.

In his rap TOP gave us a glimpse into his future, telling us of his fresh start. April 5th, 2022 was months ago. What is now our present was, at the time of Still Life's release, the future. And for the first time in years the profile pic on TOP's personal, private Instagram has been changed. That future lunar mission he foretold coming to fruition:

When I noticed this some months ago (in June, I think), I was confused. "Didn't he leave the moon?" I asked myself. No, he didn't. He's out there right now, embarking on a brand new adventure, blasting off on a long-overdue journey of self (and space!) exploration. BIGBANG's voyager T.O.P

Perhaps the moon setting in Still Life was TOP's way of showing us that he will be away from BIGBANG for a while, not that he has been. And him making his way back to Earth at the end signals an eventual reunion with the group at some unspecified point in the future. The "round-trip ship" returning from orbit after his "very first journey of sharing who I really am," per his interview with Prestige. Reentry after removing the mask.

This could also explain why they scrapped the idea of Daesung watching footage from the moon on his TV. Had the moon represented TOP's past as we believed, then past Daesung watching over him while he was absent would have sent a beautiful message about their friendship. What reason was there to abandon it? But if the moon was meant to show TOP's future, then it wouldn't have made sense to pair past Daesung with future Seunghyun. It's a problem of conflicting timelines, and the concept was left on the cutting room floor.

The reason I bring this up is because, now that a few months have passed since the comeback, I believe the purpose of Spring Summer Autumn Winter was to reassure the fans that TOP's exclusive contract with YG Entertainment coming to an end did not mean BIGBANG was ending. I'm sure the members knew how that news would sound to us VIPs. They must have known we would fear for the future of the group, uncertain of his place in it. Remember, BIGBANG's spring comeback was announced by YG in February in the same breath as TOP's contract expiration. The two were closely connected.

So they created Still Life, The Four Seasons, for us. "Like the permanence of the seasons, BIGBANG is forever," it was said. "Our spring, summer, autumn, winter were beautiful," BIGBANG sang, and promised us they will be beautiful again. Future tense. The chairs with photo backdrop, the spotlights on the stage... they showed us that a place has been prepared for the four of them, ready and waiting. And when the time is right, they will be together again.

But for now, for the time being, one of their members is on the moon 🌕

As Watermelon Sugar climbs towards the number one spot on the charts, HSHQ is there to push it across that finish line, dropping behind the scenes MV footage unexpectedly last night along with limited edition vinyl, cassette, and download editions of the single plus a funky instrumental version. So, a few minutes of giggly Harry goofing around with the girls plus collectible singles for us, and a number one for Harry coming right up! And where is the moustachioed noodle himself? Unknown but the fans who were following him around Rome suddenly started posting all their stuff from last week (ie sweaty running pics holding his phone with a map open) so if one were to think maybe he wasn't there anymore it might make sense.

In contrast to Harry's out of the blue drop, Zayn is building up to something with some warning. Probably new music! Very exciting! First the family pics, then today a selfie (zelfie), posing with traditional kohl lining his eyes. Is he in the UK for Eid? Is Gigi there too or are they merely implying that she is while she keeps her heavily pregnant self at home? Zayn's mom posted an old pic of herself with Zayn and Gigi yesterday, and today Gigi posted a pic of her and Zayn smooching captioned "baby daddy." But wait, there's more! Zayn has changed his profile pic and archived all his old Let Me promo posts! So is the big one coming, like not just a single but maybe Z3??? I mean for context ztans think literally everything portends Z3 but not for nothing: there's been reason to think it's ready and could come out whenever for a very long time now and he's certainly up to something- maybe Z3, maybe a single, maybe something else, but zomething.

Niall posted a, uh, nelfie, and fans got sick of waiting for his commentary and just asked him about the new Taylor Swift album and he said "so beautiful the lady is a genius" which is unsurprising but honestly less gushy than I would have expected from him! And Louis added another NYC date in April which is... a choice. Ticket sales for the spring shows are great, most of the tour is sold out at this point, but... shows in the US in the spring? Really? I guess we'll just see what happens.

Ok so, reading 寒舍 again and wow do I recommend it even if you’re a weak beginner-intermediate reader like me. It IS hard to read but it’s also so good. It’s a supernatural pingxie au, where Wu xie became a photographer after college, went traveling, went broke on the trip, crashes in a small town at the humble abode Menyouping rents out. Wu xie is the only tenant, paying day by day rent, Zhang Qiling basically gives him free room and meals because Wu Xie sucks at getting a temp job. Wu xie keeps saying he’ll pay, but Zhang Qiling is like “not an issue.” Finally wu xie gets a job at a clothing shop, but a ghost ends up attached to him thinking he’s her missing daughter that was murdered. She tries to smother wu xie to death. Zhang Qiling intervenes, they don’t quite address what happened. The clothing shop meanwhile gets less busy after tourist season and lets wu xie go because he missed work without notice (aka a ghost tried to kill him, got in his head and trapped him in her past life memories and tried to talk her through moving on and grieving, as Zhang Qiling fought the ghost in real time). So wu xie is jobless again living rent free at the humble abode, Zhang Qiling worries wu xie is going to get killed because he seems to attract monsters, and wu xie just went to take photos of the crab apple blossoms. Turns out, a movie is shooting, and someone tries to yell him out of the park. Then who arrives, the gorgeous actor? Why XIAO HUA of course.

Also, it should be noted the way the story is told is So cool... wu xie gets dreams/weird dizzy spells and sees flashes of ghosts memories, and of things happening he’s not a part of... then at other times the narrative bounces between wx or Zql to the case-oc plot scenes like last one was a flash of comments on a handsome man’s profile pic, and wu xie dreaming himself/a man is reaching out to touch that man - and now I’ve realized it’s Xiao Hua. Just the way the writing mixes close character perspective narrative, with the slightly eerie blur between what’s real or a hazy dream or happening somewhere else, is so cool.

Anyway here’s where Xiao Hua shows up, because I’m loving it. Then below is a machine translation from DeepL. 1. Because I don’t have time right now to translate it myself (but it IS better in the original, it flows so GOOD I love this writing style). 2. I heard DeepL does much better machine translations then the other sites so I’m testing it out compared to what I actually read.

带上了STAFF的工作证，吴邪突然有一种似乎回到了两年前的感觉。自己已经很久没有过‘同事’这个概念了，看着身边忙的满头大汗的工作人员，吴邪无所事事的站在遮阳棚下四处张望。

刚才那个汗衫男果然是场务，大家都管他叫邱哥。虽然表面上大家都对他毕恭毕敬的，但是吴邪能看出来大家眼神里的鄙视。另一个给解语花补妆的女孩子叫小七，是解语花的助理之一，看上去年纪虽然不大但是做事很细致，小小年纪就能跟在一线明星身边，看样子应该有些本事。

Hi again. About Do popularity during CB and Boss, I kinda merged my impressions on K-twt and I-twt, so apologies for the confusion.

I lost memories of some details already but what I remember about K-fans is that CB did chart higher than Boss on Melon. There are other music charts too but GP pay most attention to Melon so I cared more about it. CB got 127 music show wins too. Perhaps K-fans prefer CB to Boss like you said but overall (SK plus international), Boss still helped Do (whose high note video went viral among I-fans) and NCT with popularity. Boss MV got more views and reached 100m before CB and ppl love the concept the most (until MAW took over). NCT 2018 Empathy album sold better than CB too, tho it could be a natural progress as the group grows and NCT 2018 has more members than 127, hence more stans and higher purchasing power.

Btw, how come I forgot to mention Inkigayo. You're right. The purple haired and beret Do pics from fansites were from Do's MC gig and that exposed him to GP too.

And since you brought up the Grazia photoshoot, let me add Jae's love for Poetic Beauty concept photos. He chose the photos as his fave for Elle interview and even uses it as his ig profile pic. This guy prefers the softer, dreamier concepts. I have no problem when Jae played the boss and hot guy roles and I support anything as long as it's his own choice. He does look hot and in the same Elle interview, he picked Regulate album cover (kinda bosslike) along with T7S concept photo. It's obvious from his interviews and the way he acts tho what kind of aesthetic he like.

Quick first thoughts on the first ep of the Hypmic Anime. Spoilers beware (and im writing this as I watch so :p)

Otome’s speech is.... questionable from a persuasive point of view. Manga did a great job of introducing her (which you can read here) but they really cut out the more terrifying parts of her speech and how she uses force to show people that she's not to be messed with

Its cool seeing everyone in their respective environments though. thats cool. Though they could have added Sasara and Kuuko (shhh i know why they didn’t let me dream)

I love how poppy the typography is. Its amazing how the visuals just leap out at you. The OP does a great job of this. The first few seconds before the title really gives me Persona 4 OG OP vibes with the influx of information given. The rest is a clear concise and streamlined way that still gives character. Animation is sparse but still carries across a general idea of each character and shows off each character object. Rendering is really nice and pays a bit of homage to the posing artwork thats done for the MVs. They also do their division hand signals and thats cute

Love how the OP has blatant HifuDoppo and DRB matchup foreshadowing

so far I really like what theyre going for. BB is about brotherly familial bonds and they show the goods and the bads. Jiro and Saburo bickering right out the gate really cements the fact that they get along like cats and dogs but you can still see that they love each other, working together when the situation calls for it

Now the 3d models. Theyre... not great but usable if you don’t look too hard. They serve their purpose and don’t actively detract from the viewing experience.

Visual typography in the rap itself are fun and poppy but they dont.... speak to me? like theyre there yes and I appreciate them but the only ones that got me excited were from Ichiro’s rap

I love how they interpret the Hypnosis Speakers though. Esp. Saburo’s organs. That was super creative and I love it! If there was one thing that I felt was missing from the franchise was a deeper exploration of the speakers but the anime puts a new and fresh spin on it! Love it, especially with their attack patterns!

If the production team ever feels inclined to, Id love to see those info sheets on Otome’s desk released. There seems to be very interesting info and stats written out about each member (like capabilities, personal status etc.) They all seem unique too so I really really really hope they release images of those sheets

Rio striking out on his own is interesting. Out of everyone in MTC hes the biggest team player yet here he trusts his teammates to go ahead. This either displays Rio’s willingness to trust his teammates or it becomes very OOC if the anime wants to set him up as a lone wolf like character

I love how they specify its a drug deal. It means that Jyuto surely will show up and it also shows that Samatoki knows Jyuto’s motives and willingly gives black market info that he knows aligns with Jyuto’s goal. Thats A+ detail writing there and a great establishing characteristic for both of them

OOohhhhhhhhhhhhh man Asunama-san’s voice acting is god tier his work as Samatoki is phenomenal. He pulls of Samatoki’s threatening voice so well with those almost calm words before his voice becomes loud and confrontational. Those rolling syllables in contrast to Komada-san’s almost lyrical and airy speech and Kamio-san’s strict and enunciated words is such a delight to hear. It just speaks to how amazing and great these Seiyuu’s are in order to pull of such amazing work

Im so biased but MTC has such a better rap than BB im so sorry. Just by watching Samatoki’s part, the imagery is amazing. Even the arrival of his Hypnosis Speaker was awesome and sent a shiver down my spine. using the lyrics to form blades and blood was such a great thing to do. Theres so much more variety that just him standing there and shots of his hypnosis speaker. The old fashioned vignette shots, the four panel spread, the nods to old Kurosawa era films are great and I love these small details. Even the typography looks better.

Again, the interpretations with the speakers is fresh and new. Its great and I love the different imagery and attack patterns. Each one is so unique but carries across each different style of rap.

The 3d modles aren’t any better tho lol

(Hi this is Astro who is reading over their assessment again and making a note. Yeah I’m a bit harsh on BB’s rap. I’m not going to change it since I still stand by it and this post is supposed to be a documentation of my first impressions. I think one of the reasons why I’m so harsh on BB is because of their dynamic as a trio of brothers. They Have to have a more uniform approach than the other divisions. Which in of itself isn’t a terrible thing, it just doesn’t catch my eye as much as MTC did. Thats all! I definitely don’t hate BB, they’re maybe my 3rd favorite division out of the current lineup [not including TDD era teams like Kujaku Posse, MCD, and Naughty Busters] its just that their rap was pretty meh)

Samatoki crouching like a real gangstar and the cigarette kiss killed me

But also my initial assessment of Rio possibly being characterized as a lone wolf is very much jossed and im very thankful for that. It seems that Rio was simply trusting his teammates to carry out their part of the plan while he carried out his own. I like that, it really shows how much of a team these three are and that they genuinely trust each other. He’s also comfortable enough around them to invite them to dinners after work casually and not just for special occasions.

Oooh! we get Ramuda on his design process which is really cute. the inside of his studio is super cute and retro and i love it. the poppy old music you would hear in a cafe or 90′s resturaunt is also really cute (astro note: yeah i know that in ARB you see the interior of Ramuda’s office but its kinda different seeing it animated)

the translation i have has gentaro speaking in early modern english (Shakespearian english for those who aren’t english nerds like me) but from what I can hear, he doesn’t speak in a particularly old fashioned way? Its more formal than old? and hes speaking without any of his character persona lying thing that he likes to do (as he refers to himself as “Shousei” throughout the segment where hes in Ramuda’s office which is kind of his default pronoun of choice). so its kinda odd for the translation to go in that direction but im not complaining

Gendice banter is gold but it feels... flat? a little? it doesn’t have the same impact as in the drama cds or in the manga? i feel? Also Ramuda using gratuitous english is??? idk how to feel about that

FP’s rap might be my favorite in terms of tune and lyrics though. It’s a nice laid back bop and really gives of chill vibes. the integration of 3d and 2d is really nice and i love how they play off each other in the rap. The wordplay is so fun with little nods here and there and the beat is poppy too so it really energizes me.

Ramuda’s rap concerns me slightly since he makes very subtle and small nods towards his past (being created in a laboratory, warfare, and his overall very unpleasant life experiences) but spins it into something cutesy. It could be a coping mechanism, it could be me overthinking it. But it does make me worry a bit. Gentaro and Dice’s rap really play off each other with Gentaro sticking to stories and Dice taking up the baton by carrying on that same imagery but putting his own spin on it.

the self awareness of how scattered they are as a team is interesting though. It doesn’t seem like something you’d speak about in a rap? but i guess since its not really a do or die situation they can afford to be looser on things like this.

Right off the bat, i don’t like how they handled Hifumi and Doppo in relation to Hifumi’s fear of women. Slug made a post once talking about this and I echo many of his sentiments. Hypmic has never been very tactful about tackling this particular issue and while I didn’t have high hopes that the anime would be any better it hurts to see Doppo take away the one thing that allows Hifumi to function within society.

Doppo’s breakdown mirrors a lot of my own mental state when I spiral though its shown a lot quicker than what happens to me oof. that hits close to home. though Jakurai’s advice is. Questionable. Its not the best advice to give to someone but we have no idea what kind of doctor Jakurai is so ill let it slide

I don’t have many thoughts about the rap though again. How they visualize the rap is interesting. the different imagery is quite interesting for each of them and the typography is nice a distinct but im still on the fence about the visuals here

The sound is in the same boat. The sound effects either drown out the rap or are too quet but some parts are nice at least. When they talk about Tokyo’s beating heart, the heartbeat sound is a but distracting especially since its only played once. But the imagery is at least nice

I wonder if for the eds they’re going to take a similar approach to what Enstars did and have a four different endings, one for each division. I love the blend of styles here and it really accentuates that although they’re different they mesh well together.

Ramuda’s silhouette though is hilarious. Love it.

:p and thats it. Uh not bad for a first episode. Established all 12 characters really nicely and their dynamics. I had some problems with it but then again nothing is perfect. I look forward to what they show us next week

Before we get into this, please keep it in mind that all these information are collected by BYJX couple fans and should only be taken as rumor/conspiracy theory ect., NOT as facts. 

Recently, there’s an weibo account, 炖鸡Rose, has been posting rare backstage photos of The Untamed in BJYX forum. The cp fans rejoice with such quality content, but also wonder how the person managed to take photos from such intimate distance. Here are some examples: 

Rationally, one could say 炖鸡Rose might be among The Untamed staff. However, we could also take some uncanny coincidences between 炖鸡Rose and Wang Yibo into consideration.

Clue 1: Most recently, there’s a subtle change in both 炖鸡Rose and Wang Yibo’s profile pic. And in case you don’t know, rabbit is most often associated with Xiao Zhan in the fandom

Clue 2: Wang Yibo has “accidentally” liked some Wangxian/BJYX’s MV multiple times with his account only to unliked them soon later. It’s a possibility that he forgot to log out from a minor account. During his stay in Thailand for the fanmeeting, he did openly like a Wangxian MV though. 

Clue 3: Last year ( 29/11/2019) Wang Yibo posted his “Happy New Year” one month earlier than the actual New Year Eve, then deleted it. The point is, “Happy New Year” is kind of a slogan for cp fan to express their joy when they found some hints. 

But hmm, what could make Yibo so happy that day?  On the same date, Xiao Zhan made a post: “Today I’m a crying mouse, I won’t scold anyone I will just cry”. Wonder whom he acts a bit spoiled to?

Later on, a video of Xiao Zhan welcoming the first snow was uploaded. There’s a part of that clip where the sound is muted. But his lips could be read as “Lao Wang” Take it as what you like.

Clue 4: A fan once posted in BJYX fandom, “If Wang Yibo is among us, please made a post that contains the number 55″. The next day Yibo made a post at 13:55

Clue 5: On 13/04 炖鸡Rose announced that she would take a pause on this account. That’s also the day Yibo came back to filming for “The Legend of Fei”

Hi! Same anon as before, do you have any idea how the actors are chosen for the intvs? Obvi as a Tyler fan I would have loved to see him in an intvw so I am wondering why he's not there? Do actors need to get paid for an interview and maybe he charges too much? Is that a thing? And from a strategic standpoint, I get Jeanine, I get Vlamis, but tbh H's reception has been lukewarm at most and after 2x6 backlash (w/c apparently taught her nothing) downright hostile. So why not some1 ppl like?

My guess would be that they were chosen bc they signaled availability. In this case, I assume that EW contacted CW pr, and JM, HH and MV agreed to do the interview. 

The actors are not paid for interviews. When they do official PR for RNM (like filming little clips to promote the show, photoshoots for official promo pics, or interviews during an official press day), that’s probably part of their contract, anything beyond that (attending events like NYCC or aTVfest), is voluntary tho. Expenses like travel cost/hotel etc. will be paid by CW, but CW can’t “order” them to attend these events.

Interviews in general (video or print), being on podcasts etc., is also voluntary. It’s probably a mix of the actors’ management/pr teams looking for interview opportunities, and The CW getting requests for interview availability. 

Jeanine and Vlamis have both done numerous interviews during S2, RNM was often mentioned, but not always the plug. The other actors barely did any interviews tho. I guess Jeanine and Vlamis both asked their teams to pursue opportunities, and also told the CW pr team that they’re open to media requests.

Tyler’s only somewhat “official” interview was the CW Pride IG live he did with Jeanine (the other IG lives the cast did during S2 were for fun and fans tho, they were not part of CW’s pr efforts, i.e. not mandatory), it was still a voluntary thing tho.

It’s hard to imagine that it’s bc of a lack of media requests that there haven’t been more interviews with Tyler, maybe he’s just not up to being interviewed atm, or he only agrees to an interview when it feels right and meaningful for him (he doesn’t have to hustle as much as the others too - like Vlamis f.e., who’s still a newcomer in the business - he’s already made a name for himself over the last decade and can afford to keep a much lower profile these days).

I don’t think the media at large is aware of the extensive backlash 2x06 caused, and those who became aware were either team “we loved it”, or they turned a blind eye. There’s no way a publication like EW or People would pick up on the backlash and write a “negative” article, or ask CAM and Heather “hard questions”. Media and entertainment industry need each other, and unless there’s a good reason for “open war”, the media will do softball interviews in return for “exclusive set visits”.

I doubt that anyone outside of fandom perimeters paid much (if any) attention to what Heather said in that interview. Our fandom bubble is also a rather small one, so it’s really a very small number of people who noticed. And while those who are aware might be more wary of Heather’s interviews in the future, she’s a highly respected and well liked actress across the board. So of course they asked her and were happy that she took part in the interview.

Oh my where do I start about Buffy? 

- Real name: Kim Juhyeon; Buffy was his stage name when he was with madtown and he loved that nickname! He attached it to all his old accounts (previously a variation of “bufonmusic” on IG and soundcloud, but not anymore)

- Instagram account: hennessy_beat

- currently doing military service but he will be finished in a couple of months according to his IG post today, 02/15/19. Check it out 😆✨. He also tagged his madtown members like he was a little kid!!!

- But technically he is (a little kid in madtown). Buffy is second to the youngest in the group, born June 15, 1995. Jaeho (H.O) is the maknae, born June 18, 1995 but since the 2 of them are only 3 days apart, buffy and jaeho are like, uh, twins born 3 days apart lol. So buffy and jaeho are equally babies in the eyes of their older members in madtown.

- Buffy debuted with Moos as part of the hip hop subunit Pro C in late 2013. Check out these Pro C songs, and I just wish we had more. I linked them to official MVs or audio clips :)

- Um, Buffy has been writing / composing / producing songs since…forever. Here are some of the songs he released while with madtown.

Ok, I’m getting a bit teary-eyed listening to this stuff again, lol. Personally, I like Buffy’s music style and his sound. Incredibly talented, I just want to hear more new songs from him when he comes back from military service.

- He’s the most obedient in the group according to moos. I giffed that somewhere in my blog, moos said that in an interview.

- He’s the eldest of two boys in his family and very sweet to his younger bro! They went on a trip to Japan together, just the two of them and he used to post a lot of stuff/pics with his brother in his old IG, but that account has since been deleted.

- When Seungho of MBLAQ was injured and couldn’t perform for one of the end-of-year-performances, Buffy filled in for him. This was for “It’s War” (i think this was 2012?) . But Buffy was still a trainee then, so he perfomed in a mask. (but Buffy’s side profile/nose is so distinct you can tell it was him even if he was in a mask … )

- He’s probably more on the quiet half of madtown (jota is like the quietest one) … except when he’s with Jaeho because then the two just bounce off of each other and create havoc. These two’s interactions are cute, kinda like they push each other to be silly.

- He’s pensive and thoughtful, hilariously balanced out by his sweet brattiness to moos. I mean that in the most loving way possible! Moos is just really soft, and gives in to buffy a lot.

- Lee Geon + Buffy = Guffy. Check out that “guffy” tag for unrelenting sweetness. They are a good balance, and complement each other well. And my favorite hyung-maknae pair ❤️This is just tip of the iceberg of Buffy’s gloriousness! I hope it helps :)

Seungwoo (24.12.94): leader, rapper and also a vocalist. a multitalent uwu 💕 he’s the dad of the group 💝 he’s really hardworking and once said that he feels like he needs to stay strong for his member bc he’s the oldest 😭😭💔💝 //  the youngest in his family but the leader so basically a little brother in charge 😂💖 also he’s very annoying  😂he’s always screaming in a very high-pitched voice (someone stop him..). Super Athletic,, like.. the other members are scared of him bc of that…. he needs to chill 😂 also w e i r d (watch the mole story video (put on eng cc))

Seungsik (16.4.95): main vocalist. he’s the mom of the group 💓 also the official potato of the group (i think subin was the one to first call him that)😂💖 a silly dorky baby uwu 💕💝💞 king of smiling (honestly his smile lights my whole universe up) and being weird 💗💗 the Iconic otter face. Just a happy sunshine boy we don’t deserve 😭😭💗

Heochan (14.12.95): Main dancer and a vocalist 💞 he’s the uncle of the group  😂💖 weird boi… he’s always standing at the back looking straight at the camera like he knows something we don’t 😂😂 he has a signature hand gesture that makes him look like either a tour guide or a teacher lol 😂 the #1 subin fanboy 💗💗 A dork like the rest of them uwu 💕 his childhood nickname was dinosaur bc “he looks like one” lol (he does a dinosaur style peace sign in every pic fdhurfjdsgh) 😂 his role models are beast/highlight (he’s a fanboy uwu) 

Sejun (4.5.96): vocalist, visual, face of the group. he’s the oldest son of the group. LOUD AF!! always making weird noises… 😂😂 LOVES eating 😂💗 too extra for this world,,, someone save him pls.. // lowkey cursed highkey an angel uwu💗💓💖 in reality shows seems shy but irl is a big mess 💖💞 

Hanse (25.9.97): Main rapper. he’s the second oldest son of the group.  okay so… we don’t even know.. this bitch is weird af….. usually silent but when he opens his mouth you’ll wish he hadn’t. Like. Why. what’s wrong with him?? also this creepy baby aegyo. he’s like the laziest person ever ( i mean relatable but still.. honey..) always judging the other members even tho he’s as weird as them (if not the weirdest member lol)  💕😂😂 never even tries, he’d just rather be home chilling than doing anything else 😂💖 Also loves subin very much and is now competing for the #1 subin’s fanboy title 💞💞 another boi doing weird noises,,, yikes what’s wrong with victon?? also another Extra boi (we do love those extra ass babies 💕💕) hanse being himself and the other members dying of laughter.

Byungchan(12.11.97): vocalist, visual. he’s the second youngest son of the group. tall skinny legend 💝💝 Also weird af (at this point who in victon isn’t..) kind of uncle-like. The king of gg dances AND sexy dances 💕💕 Honestly by his looks you’d think he’s normal but no. 😂😂Almost never seen in victon videos.. where is he???? Always gets what he wants, like he knows he’s cute and uses it for his own good 💓😂 Super weak, also uses that for his own good lol 😂 needs strong leader seungwoo’s protection uwu 💞💞 a cutie 

Subin (5.4.99): vocalist, maknae. he’s the youngest son of the group. talk about maknae on top,, sigh 💔💔 Like the other members love and adore him So Much and he knows it 💗💗💗 pretty done with the members 24/7 lol 😂 he’s used to their shit but still the most judgemental member 😂 sorry for the viewers in behalf of his older members lol // made the other members kiss for his bday wish UWU!! 💕💕 The pink prince of victon (the other members gave him this nickname during unbelievable era and isn’t that like the cutest thing??)💖💖 THE CUTEST BOY UWUWUWU
