I honestly can not stand the fact that in order to keep up on the lives and what's going on with my RL friends and family and stuff, I have to use Facebook and scroll through a wall of posts that is 75% sponsored/"suggested" posts, most of which are just random AI generate images and galleries just to see if any of my friends have posted in the last couple of days.

Even pages I've been following forever have slowly just becoming random AI posts and it's so uncanny and so wildly upsetting. "Oh damn, someone made really good fanart for a thing I like? I can't wait to-- oh it's AI."

Literally sucking the love and joy out of me rn, I can't lie. I miss seeing people actually create, I miss seeing my friends. It feels like I'm being fed a fake world of fake people and fake art and I'm just supposed to accept it for... what reason? Advertising? What is this selling me on?

Sorry for the rant, but especially as I'm getting into the holiday season and this is like, the one way I can keep up with my friends casually, it's just super getting me down.

How do I stop my cat from like getting aggressive when we play wikihow

#like there's a point where he gets aggressive and instead of playing with the toy he aims for my hand #he goes for my hand and I either run away which he will follow me trying to attack me #or i have to wrestle him #and i usually have to grab his scruff with a lot of force to restrain him #he obviously fights back which is why i usually just step out of the room and leave him alone till he calms down #but today i inmovilazed him and let go multiple times but he got even madder #so i had to geab him down by his butt and scruff till he got tired #he just forced his way out and finally chilled #like is either way i can't be in the room i want to be in or i literally have to show him that he cannot take a person that is six times #his size #vent #anyways now I've got a lot of scratches #i just hope this is not a thing with a new cat we have to introduce him to #plus i don't like to wrestle him I'm pretty sure i am too much of a brute and he hurts me pretty badly

fun fact about me I used to be OBSESSED with the Cinderella movie (like, the cartoon 1950 one) at like five or six. I think it was the first DVD my family owned and I watched it on our garage-sale tube tv over and over and over again when I was allowed to. probably the most glaringly obvious sign of autism I had at the time.

got access to Disney+ recently because of Circumstances and watched the whole thing today and turns out yep, I still remember every beat of that movie.

#actuallyautistic #houston we have a problem #it was funny to me though little-kid me focused on such specific details #and i could easily recall and point them out when i watched it today #but watching it as an adult (or just. someone older than six)#the pacing of the movie/plot/whatever is WAY different #i could also feel myself getting... anxious? or like feeling the ghost of an old anxiety #when parts of the movie that bothered me as a kid (the stepsisters singing off-key/the fight scene with the cat/the shoe breaking)#were about to happen #kindergartener lise was. high strung #anyway #nostalgia. probably wouldn't watch it again of my own volition

Today is definitely NOT my day 😓

#misc #work was awful my entire right arm from hand to shoulder blade hurts #the left part of my neck also hurts and is tense #plus the bottom of my back #and obviously my eyes duh #came back home to find that my cat is sick #starting to get used of his stomach sickness every six months because of his fur but it still stress me the fuck out #im brushing him with a good de shedding brush but still he manages to vomit shit ton of fur #i mean tbh ive never seen a cat spend this much time grooming their self with that much saliva #had to go collect a basket of vegetables to save for low price which im very happy about #but i was so not focused on my walk that i made a big detour lmao #came back home my cat is still not ok but a bit more reactive #he's not moving but he's a in more relaxed position and he's not panting anymore #he's not yet aware that he won't have food till at least tomorrow because he can't restrain himself to wait for his stomach to be better #also my phone is having connection issue today of all days #and i have to cook but im tired #but like i saved the vegetables for a reason lol #im gonna make stewed peaches and and cook local vegetables and normally everything is gonna be ok

#personal #still don't know what's wrong with my cat #blood tests came back today #his red and white blood cells are normal but his protein is low #we need to do a urine test next #he's still not really eating that much #i just feel like i've spent the entirety of the last six days in fight or flight mode i just. cannot handle it anymore #i hate being at home because the atmosphere is so tense and bad but i can't focus at work either #i just want him to be okay #he's only seven for fuck's sake
