thoughts of doing things.

things so perverse i hardly know how to voice them.

things... maybe... you haven't ever done before.

i'll beg you to let me do these things, though.

because i need to do them.

i need to wash you in a hot shower, my hands scrubbing away the cares of your day. i need to massage away your aches, until your muscles melt under my ministrations. i need to caress away your stresses. i need to nuzzle a smile back onto your face, and kiss the laughter back onto your lips.

i need to cook you a nourishing meal. i need to pour you a drink and sit with you on the couch and listen to you vent your worries, until they are released. i need to make you laugh with dumb jokes, and i need to see the weight of your world lift from you because here. because you know that with me you are safe to let it go, you are cared for, you are taken care of.

i need to refill your drink and kneel at your feet, cockwarming you while you rest and be still, and just feel the warmth of my mouth and the tickle of my hair on your skin and the twinkle of joy in my eyes...

as you let me take care of you.

this is a really great article about oregon state gymnast Lauren Letzsch and her journey with a POTS diagnosis last year. i find that a lot of times articles about POTS will really downplay the severity and extent of the symptoms but this one does a really great job (along with Lauren’s openness in her interview) of not sugarcoating what it actually entails and how difficult and rare her ability to return to the sport has been!

It had been at least a millennium since the last time they'd met the immortal Wizard. Zygorguk the Imp had received hir mercy and had their entire existence changed. For a start, they could never go back to the Plane of Torment.

Demons could not return to their origin realm if they appreciated kindness. It's all about the relativity of experiences.

There had been centuries of thought about the subject, but Zygorguk had come to peace with their situation. It helped to attach themself to a Wizard, or even a Wizarding school. Both of those options were unavailable. Zygorguk had disguised themself as a Gnome until another avenue opened up.

“Be curious about what you’re writing about” is not stock Common Writing Advice but it really, really should be. There are a lot of written works that fail due to the authors just being obviously incurious about what they are writing about.

I want to be able to hold my hand against yours. Palm to palm, fingers aligned; the heat of our skin the least of what we exchange. My hand moving up to match my fingertips with yours, fingers curling just so against one another, before coming together once more, as if separation is our unending torment.

I want to look into your eyes as our fingers entwine. I want to see the storm begin to rise there, as you pull our tangled digits to your lips and smell the scent of our prior sins still clinging to them. I want to see the smirk swell like a wave in your eyes long before it crashes upon your lips.

I need to feel you move over me. I need to feel your body cover mine, my hands bound in yours. Skin to skin. Desire, dark and dripping. Needs wordlessly aligned. Fucking will be the least of our exchange. Feeling the storm of need crash over us, our bodies coming together once more...

The secret Dungeon Meshi sauce that's getting people to eat better is that it's so non-judgmental. Senshi and the rest of the gang never talk about what not to eat besides things that taste bad and literal poison. They don't even talk about "health" that much besides the importance of a balanced diet. It's so much easier to eat well when you think of food simply as something your body needs, and that it's often worth the extra effort to make it taste good, especially when you understand how to connect "things your body needs" with "things that taste good"
