Bookblr please help me find this book. I’m getting desperate

I only remember one scene and very little else, which really really sucks, but i remember this scene so vividly that I hope if you’ve read the book you should hopefully know what I’m talking about. The scene involves the protagonist using a computer when something else takes it over and the words “what goes around comes around” fill up the screen, repeating over and over.

I would’ve read this in 2008-2014, and found it in my school library. It was definitely for a younger audience, probably for tweens, had chapters and was not illustrated. I believe the genre was mystery with paranormal elements but I could be wrong.

Ive literally been searching for years. I’ve asked friends and family. I’ve posted on Reddit multiple times, on Discord servers, in private reading groups, I’ve been looking so long I was asking on Yahoo Answers. I feel like I’m going crazy, I remember this so vividly, I don’t think it’s a false memory but nobody else seems to remember

I don’t want to clog up any tags with an irrelevant post but I’m going to tag this with a few other books/authors I remember reading at the time. I can’t say if they’re anything alike but hopefully appeal to the same demographic and can put this on the right person’s feed. This is the only time I’ll do this promise.

Neil: Maybe if you watched Jaws, you would understand what we were trying to do

u ever think about how andrew has never been alone? going from group homes, to foster families, to juvie. to tilda and aaron, to nicky and aaron, to palmetto with kevin and neil. his deal with kevin means he, too, essentially has the raven partner system introduced to him up until kevin enrolls in the university and starts classes. and then neil too - jean says in tsc they’re never out of each others orbits for long. he’s never been alone, even when he has been; there’s always been people there talking to each other, filling the air, to the point where he has to break on to the roof for a few minutes piece and quiet. and even then, when neil joins palmetto, he starts joining andrew on the roof (even if they sit in silence he’s still not alone). makes me wonder how he’d react to graduating and having a place to himself for the first time. would it be a relief or would the silence set him on edge?

Thinking about my demon au, specifically Renee and Andrew and how her religion and his parantage affects their relationship (with all the boys tbh).

Like... would she see them as a proof of her faith? Would she fear them? Are they proof of the divine to her or just another window into the darkness of humanity?

She would be hesitant I think, but still a good Christian and focus on their humanity too... After all they are half-human too.

I think she'd bond with Nicky over some aversion to the boys. When they're all relaxed and having fun and one of the boys looks a little too different (maybe an eye flicker, maybe Neil's fingertips turn black, maybe Kevin stretches out his wings...). While other foxes might join them in rituals, Renee and Nicky would be far, far away...

And dont get me started on Jean...

OH YEAH FOR REAL i think for all of their sanities kandreil should not have children (though i often reminisce about that fic where they did and neil was a deadbeat father for like a month) but they would be an UNIT when it comes to spoiling aaron's girls. even kevin someone who i believe is remarkably awkward with children would be swayed by them. he claims he's still as hard as ever and hasn't mellowed out at all in the years but andrew has more than once caught kevin ignoring them doing something they're not supposed to. he just lets children walk all over him

i feel like this is dropping too much dayurno lore but i taught kindergarten for a good part of this year and i have to say i'd DIE to see these three weird men interacting with children. because children are SO WEIRD. they have no heed of social expectations yet. statistically speaking children are the perfect friends for kandreil
