Why are pole dancers usually mostly naked (and why am I usually not)?
I get this question from both directions, depending on how familiar people are with pole. In truth, I prefer the chrome for dancing, but silicone is better for videos.
Follow me on Patreon for more pole and/or archery content!

Gimme the Loot!
Welp, it's been one thousand years (almost 5 months) since I planned to restart my fitness journey and it has not occurred as well as I had wanted, but that's okay. Time to get back at it. The next step in the mindset module is all about assigning rewards to your goals in order to incentivize completing them. I've assigned one reward to each pair of goals I came up with in "The Art of Goal Setting" and will be keeping track of these goals in a spreadsheet because spreadsheets are the best.
If I can record what I eat every day and consume two or less sodas per day for an entire month, I will buy myself a new cookbook or cocktail book, or perhaps ingredients for a very fancy recipe.
If I can walk at least 5 minutes per day and work out three times a week for an entire month, I will buy myself a monthly membership to the local rock climbing gym.
If I can set aside at least 20 minutes for reading and 20 minutes for creative projects per day for an entire month, I will commission an art piece for my current TTRPG project.
If I can not make any impulse purchases and back one or less Kickstarter projects for an entire month, I will buy myself something from my list of "Things I'd Like to Buy."
If I can call my parents and grandparents at least once per month and set aside one night per week for a date night with my partner for 3 months straight, I will plan a small out of state trip for myself and my partner.

Day 4: Not able to squeeze in anything between end of shift, funeral visitation, and bedtime.
Day 5: 15 minute walk and light weight usage. Definitely starting to feel it in my back. That's exciting.

Mindset. Lifestyle. Look.
Tumblr media
What is a tried and true way to transform? Full disclosure: transformations of any type are different for everyone and different every time. For me, I have figured out a simple process that I can follow and make the small incremental changes that I want for lasting commitment.
Mindset. Lifestyle. Look.
It’s a simple as those three words. First, Mindset.
Your mindset is everything. What comes through is “Save the Cheerleader, Save the World.” And in much the very same way, you can change your world by simply changing your mindset. Your mindset is what got you exactly where you are at, and it will be what pushes you to where you want to go.
Now, you can obviously stay exactly where you are But most of us search for growth, and growth takes commitment to self and commitment to the practice. That’s where changing your current mind to be a committed mind!
Let’s start a personal example that we can use throughout to explain it all. For me, I jumped on the scale yesterday and saw that I weighed a whopping 187.50 lbs. Whoa! I have not weight over 180 since I moved to New Jersey back in 2012. For the last five years, my weight has stayed roughly around 150. Now, I also had a drug problem and an alcohol problem before that. Now, I am healthy and it has been over a year, so I have to assume this is my stabilized weight.
The Secret by Rhonda Byrne talks about putting your energy towards being thin. Do not think dense heavy thoughts. And for her, that may work just fine. But for me, I need to create a plan to help me change. This is what I mean by mindset. It’s creating the plan.
I need to eat McDonalds less. I need to do more yoga. And I need to drink way more water.
Now, this is where your really hone into your mindset because if the “End Goal” is to be skinner and healthier. I need to start with one of those things. I am going to drink more water, then cut out the fast food, and finally do yoga. These will be the changes I make over the first three months of 2023 to accomplish this.
Let’s move into the Lifestyle portion. This is taking the action that’s needed. Mindset is putting all the lego blocks you need onto the table to build the Star Destroyer, but the Lifestyle is where you actually put it together.
I have a red Starbucks cup that I carry around with me. Generally, I fill it with coffee in the morning. Every day for the month of January, I am going to fill it up three times a day with water and finish it. This will give me plenty of more water.
In February, I will make plans with my husband to make dinner every day we are home together, and eat my $11 a day salads when I am at work. No extra candy, no Starbucks, and especially no soda.
Finally in March, I will be finishing my Kundalini Yoga Teachers Training around the same time we are going to Savannah. I will start teaching yoga three times a week at 12:00pm.
I have created a plan, I have made subtle adjustments over the next few months, and now, we move into Look.
Look is the final part. By the time you move through the mindset and the lifestyle, I have always felt like a new person, and a new person needs a new look.
No, I do not have the money to just go out there and buy a new wardrobe, but I do have enough money to go out there and buy a pair of pants and a new shirt. Summer is right around the corner and would be perfect for me to start shopping for.
The look brings home all the changes that you have made and gives you a physical representation of that. It also feels good to wear new clothes that fit you different than your old (because by then I will be close to where I want to be in weight).
Mindset. Lifestyle. Look. This is my own personal guide to transformation. And I wanted to share it. It’s not fool proof, and I have stumbled as many times as I have succeeded, but that too is part of the journey and it’s all part of the greater journey that is living the superhero life.

On his way to meet-up with his Grindr date. One thing Jeff likes about his life nowadays is the fact that he can swipe right to the most vile or even unattractive person, and with the premium paid version of the Chronivac seamlessly weaved into his Grindr, he can adjust that person to his liking. This seemed like a beta version that is not yet released to the public, or so he thought as he didn't even know to whom this phone actually belongs to. He just found it randomly in the club one night, tinkered a bit with it and then find the Grindr app looking a bit different from his usual one. That self-exploration lead him to find out about the built-in Chronivac, which he abused to sculpt himself into God's perfect image of a human being. He packed himself with muscle in all the right places, get rid of all the shortcomings like his poor eyesight, scoliosis, his partial color-blindness and all the small yet annoying sparse body acne to leave himself a nice, taut and smooth body. He increased his height substantially to 6'4" from his previous 5'6" form and rather than staying as a mixed Lebanese-Mexican man, he went on full Caucasian as he renamed himself as Dominic Groth, a German-Australian self-obsessed bodybuilding content creator. With such discovery, now he's excited to share this blessing to more people, of course with him as the one bestowing the transformation and the receiving end mostly unaware of the changes, at least for now
As he knocks on the door of his date, instead of a boring 5'7" fat fuck of a middle-aged accountant that clearly couldn't pull anyone, a towering 6'7" confident muscle beast answered the door
Tumblr media
"Glad you ain't no catfish,"
"Same goes for you, Daddy,"
The massive guy smirked, his cock stirring in his pants after being called like that by a hulking 6'4" jock. Memories of his past life seemingly vanished into thin air as he grabbed Jeff into his house with such ease and confidence, as if this is just another day in the life of this bonafide muscle stud.

Big Name Feelings - 8/16
Tumblr media
what are they looking at? find out (with a second drawing!!) at the end of this chapter :)
As far as Aziraphale was concerned, Crowley didn’t gift him a bowtie, not really. He gifted him that smile, that smug little grin as he slid his visa across the counter and tapped the receiver without so much as glancing at the price tag. It made him shine with pride, for all the work he’d done to earn that shiny black card, and palpable satisfaction for the small opportunity to share his wealth. Azirphale wanted to kiss it off him, and had to concentrate to bury his sigh deep where neither of them would hear it. “I have one stipulation,” Crowley announced once the ties were officially theirs. “Oh good, a condition for the gift I don’t want.” Crowley continued as if he hadn’t heard, “You have to wear it now. Don’t make me carry it around all day.”

Is Pole Dance the same as Stripping?
I get a lot of comments saying something like “bro is a striper” (usually when a post breaks containment), so thought I might as well address the topic!

The Epic Quest
The next step in the mindset module is called Start Your Epic Quest. It involves taking the goals and steps created in the previous step (The Art of Goal Setting) and building a larger and more expansive path to completing them and becoming the idealized version of yourself, and then sharing that Epic Quest with others.
My epic quest is broken down into several categories each with a set of incremental goals. Eating and Drinking is all about maintaining a food diary and hitting calorie and sugar goals, as set by the MyFitnessPal app. Unlike my last go around, I specifically avoided setting goals to not consume fast food or soda, because I love my stupid novelty Mountain Dew flavors too much.
The Fitness category is mostly about creating consistent fitness habits. Walking every day, working out three times per week, and going to the rock climbing gym at least once per week. After all, consistency is key. The second half of the Fitness category is rock climbing and bouldering milestones because I want rock climbing to be the cornerstone of my fitness journey.
The next category is Finance, which is primarily about digging myself out of the debt hole I've put myself in. One of my new identities is someone who considers his spending habits and makes smart financial decisions, and these quests will mark my progress on that front.
The Creative Endeavors category is mostly about reading and writing. There are steps to build consistency with dedicating at least 20 minutes per day each on reading and writing. Then there are more specific goals, like writing and selling a novel or a screenplay. The most specific goals are about TTRPG projects I'd like to finish and put on Kickstarter eventually. As I work on more projects, I'll update the quest list to add them too.
Travel is full of places I want to visit and things I want to do while there, in no particular order, and certainly not comprehensive. My ability to do this is, unfortunately, tied intrinsically with my success in the Finances category so hopefully I can get my shit together and start crossing things off of my travel list.
The final category is Becoming Jack Danger, which is a miscellaneous category of adventurous actions and skills that the fictionalized version of Jack Danger is capable of, and that I think would bring me excitement and joy to learn to do myself. I've been debating putting "Get a degree in History/Archaeology/Museum Studies" on the quest list as well. Perhaps it will make its way into this category, or perhaps I'll create a separate category for Education.

Long time no post.
Thought I'd dust this thing back off and see if I can actively incorporate it into my routine. Kinda like a quest log tracker or something, I don't know. Anyway.
Day 3 complete of minimum 15 min walking, light body weight, and light strength training. Wanted to aim for longer like the first two days but a hypo said otherwise.
Overall not bad. I can already tell I feel much better afterwards and I hope I can build some momentum. Just need to figure out an actual plan or something to follow so I don't feel like I'm winging it.
