The Letter for the King propaganda:

1) It’s Dutch! (De brief voor de koning)

2) In 2004 it was chosen as the best Dutch children’s book of the last 50 years (it was published in 1962!)

3) It was finally translated into English in 2013, leading to a recent - very non accurate Netflix series (There’s also a Dutch movie from 2008, which is more accurate)

4) I just really really really love it and it’s sequel, Secrets of the Wild Wood is one of my favourite books of all time. It has some really great characters and a very fun setting that leaves space for so much headcanons. I love it so much that I even made a uquiz about it and try to write fanfic because there’s a big lack of it
