exactly. And that’s all just some parts of it too. People pretend they’re so on top of things but it’s just because they don’t want to seem out of touch and offensive. I've only ever bothered with settings I need, like sourcing, make unrebloggable, edit text sometimes. and then when adding a source link to a previous post, I Just registered that the date part says "set a publishing date to a time in the past" but thought, there's no way that actually works right. and it does. what the hell lmao. why can you do this. I just looked at the price on the back of a book I’ve had for a bit over a decade and it was four. fucking. dollars. Just four with no taxes. No extra 97cents or something before taxes. Just a round number that you would add taxes to.

I googled the price of a new edition and it was almost thirteen! Not an even thirteen, it was like 12.96 or something. Close enough that it’s basically thirteen but if you’re adding multiple items together to try and get the price on a purchase with more items it would add more confusion.
