Ah fine I'll post somethin. Experimenting with designs and shit is all I'm doin. Nothin new.

(Not posting the colored in versions yet. These are only concept sketches. Keep that in mind)...

The digital "version" of ^this^ is just some lazy color blocking I did. (Pay no mind to the weird light effects); But it does add a little clarity to the original sketch that might be helpful. Note: the values will change to some degree later.

Full body type idea ^here^. The tail is fan shaped from proper perspective.

The basic blocks of his design include an array of different animal features i.e. plucked feathers and skin, goat horns and eyes, coyote skull and body, and lizard scales. Idk if anyone was curious though;

if anyone asks for more detail in the design inspirations and lore I might share it. I just don't really feel the need to post every part of my process yk (especially if I'm not 100% happy with it)

A. Square and A. Faux Line: Damn, that circle kinda a hottie- ...

I had this silly idea after my 29374th time watching Flatland that a majority of the first part of the movie is just A. Sphere watching all the shit go down like the worst telenovela you've ever seen. Also, that A. Line was originally going to be the apostle, but... uh... she can't really do that anymore, so he banks all his money on A. Square.

Also, I thought it would be super funny of A. Square and A. Faux Line both crushed on A. Sphere when he first showed up lol. Crazy smooth priest spawns and everyone swoons.

Older Hex doodles too. I love Hex, they're such a real one the whole time. With all the faults of Sphereland, I do like Hex maining in that one. But I also like picking and choosing which things I take as canon in my own work, so you get young adult Hex with their totally not-romantically-involved-with-at-all partner Punto (P. Octagon).

It's been a bit since Flatland happened in this hypothetical, so A. Square's still around. He's trying to be supportive of his masc-nonbinary kid who likes kissing boys, but still has to be annoying with dad jokes and the occasional backhanded compliment. He means well tho.

A. TESSERACT OH HOW I'VE MISSED YOU POOKIE <3333. She's probably one of my most favorite ocs I've made (and the one that gets the most art <3) She's also the one I feel the least awkward about shoving into the source material lol. I yearn to work on A Heightlander's Escape again, but we'll see.

I just wanted to draw something cute between her and A. Square. She may or may not be the voice at the end of the movie hmmmmmmmm.

looking through the most kudos'd fics in the tag will get you some solid fics, so i'll give you some specific ones i love very dearly... like i mentioned in my end of year review, i've been reading a lot of polyamorous/etc stuff so there's a lot of that in here. i like weird sex stuff though so mind the tags but lol go wild

Friendship!!! is Magic by afrai (rated T) / i'll start out with the less explicit stuff lol. this one is a yoi and ouran crossover. it's very good and very funny and very iconic. classic. great characterization

icebreaker by Cesare (rated G) / listen it's not like i'm into rated G content or pov outsider content but when it's done well what can i say. this fic involves an oc meeting a retired yuuri in school and slowly figuring out who his husband is. i like this viktor here (i like when people write him annoying). very romcom to me. super fun

here on the roof of the world by jibrailis (rated T) / so short and so lovely. prose is simple but beautiful. also a well-known classic

dear true love by cityboys (rated T) / a gorgeous, sprawling pianist/writer au by cityboys, who never misses...

No Less Unthinkable by rageprufrock (rated E) / probably well known by all but so fucking good. in my top 5 fics of all time, definitely. a character study about yuuri and sex and home as an idea and ice skating, obviously. i think it's such a feat of writing... beautiful prose. i love this author. i've read this like 10 times i think

My Old Aches Become New Again by Anonymous (rated E) / this one fucking rules. i love the voices of the characters, i love the situation, the prose is great, it's a well-done emotional romcom that's not very long. basically, a post-canon phichit travels to st. petersburg to be yuuri and viktor's third. thumbs up

here's to the glory still to be by foxfireflamequeen (unrated) / a weirder one that i think about a lot... basically viktor de-ages (more specifically he trades places with his younger self ig) and his younger self appears in a post-canon timeline. which sounds silly (de-aging is a hard thing to pull off and can be questionable, i know) but the prose and ideas are very striking. in this fic viktor bonds specifically with yuri plisetsky and it's a great character study of them both. good stuff

House of Broken Bones by ineptshieldmaid (rated E) / a character study on christophe where he retires because of an injury and travels to be yuuri and viktor's third... idk man i love a fic that takes itself very seriously. i also really like being in the yoi world and this fic delivers that same opulence and emotional depth. interesting!

Like Salt, Like Sun by dance_arcoss (rated E) / viktor and christophe have phone sex because viktor's all nervous about yuuri in the early stages of their relationship... are there other people who think viktor x christophe being fuck buddies is awesome or is that just me

So I focused mostly on finishing up chapter two of my fic which I did YAY. Then I started another fic Idea for something completely different. Because the mind never sleeps ig.

Little thing of Viago and the day that my main rook's parents died and He took her in.

little background info some I have posted like briefly and others is pretty new.

Viago is 19 here. Enzo is an antivan crow from the Arainai house and Aria's father, Vesa is Aria's mother and isn't a crow. Aria is eight years old and it's been currently a month since the end of the blight. (in my timeline)

right before this excerpt Viago found Vesa already dead.

The hairs on his neck stood up as, he pushed his back against the wall and made his way down the hallway, where he saw their bedroom was wide open. Inside was Enzo tied up and bleeding. “Viago?” His voice was quiet and weak as it cracked. The man still lived. Viago moved to his former mentor examining his body. Cuts were all along it some of them were deep others were shallow but all of them had a ring of yellow blotches around the wounds, the blades had been coated in poison. “I don’t have very much time. Do you still have the letter Vesa gave you?” The letter, something Vesa had given him years ago. Viago hadn’t opened it himself, but he remembered how serious she looked when she gave it to him and remember her instructions clearly. “Give this to Ash’anne if something happens to me and Fen'hel” Vesa was always a little more paranoid and he couldn't blame her because he was just as paranoid.  “Yes, but-” “Let me talk, we do not have time for your questions.” Enzo took in a shaky shallow breath. “Aria is in the wardrobe, you remember the knock I taught you? The one we use for the door?” Viago nodded his head, scared that if he spoke he would began his brigade of questions. “Good, use that knock on the wardrobe doors, let her know it’s you…and take care of my girl.” the elf gave him a weak smile. “What? I can’t take care of a child, Enzo-” “Shush, take care of her, you are her family now and she is your responsibility. Promise me you will protect her.” his blue-violet eyes were fading, his gaze turning far away even as Viago was crouched right in front of him.  “I- I promise.”  “Good. Vesa has journals she wants Aria to have.” his words were getting slower as his breath got shallower “they’re in the chest by the shelf….” there was a long pause, Viago stared at him waiting to hear either more of the sentence or his final breath. “You’re a good kid.” with that his body stilled and his breath stopped as his head hung limply to his chest. Viago’s mentor was gone.

Kit's personality is more based off of Kanao, Hinata,Kobeni and Amy. (Especially Kanao) Sumire? I mean I guess so. Kit's backstory is kinda like Sumire's I guess? In my backstory I did write that kit used to have long red hair and used to do gymnastics before finally standing up to her parents and cut her hair and dyed it blah blah blah. In persona sumire had a breakdown about being inferior which is similar to kit as she was pushed by her parents to become a perfect child, a girl with good grades and all that stuff, never having fun and feeling trapped like her only purpose was to be perfect and never messing up. I'm fact the only reason why her parents had her was because her older brother wasn't the 'perfect child's they wanted so they had Katsumi (her real name) and one day kit snapped and had a breakdown, cut her hair and dyed it to look cool. She doesn't wear her glasses anymore which is like what the heck how can you see but anyways..her parents found out and was seriously pissed but didn't really do anything so she still lives with her parents (duh because she's 16) and yeah. I forgot to mention that Katsumi always wanted to be a rudie because it looks fun and she thought that would be the only escape from her parents and was inspired as she watched them skate through the streets and all that bull crap. So uh. When writing her I made her part of the GGs but later I decided to make a new gang called the chaotic cids (it's pronounced kids but spelled with a c so stick with it) tbh I wasn't sure what to do because I want her to be part of the GGs but I also want her to be part of the chaotic ANYWAYS the chaotic cids are basically a group of rookies that can't find themselves in a gang because they kinda suck so they decided to make their own gang :3. Erm I literally can't write so there is a lot of gaps in the story. Like kit has like 4 younger siblings that her and her brother sometimes take care of because the parents are assholes and go on business trips. The reason why kit wanted to be a rudie was because she saw corn tagging on the wall or some shit and it would make sense for her to join the GGs but she decided to be apart of another gang which makes me pissed at myself because I can't pick. Anyways the leader of the chaotic cids is named Bomby (Bfdi reference? 🤨) and she basically hates the GGs guts for being popular and stuff (this is where the OC x canon stuff happens I guess) Kit has a crush on Corn and stuff but she's upset that they can't be together because Bomby doesn't like the GGs. I wanted to write Corn helping out kit through her story and encouraging/inspiring her to do what she wants and not having to listen to her parents anymore. I just don't know how that's going to happen if she's in another gang. I didn't even write her in the chaotic cids I just thought it would be a good idea to have her in another gang and the thing is that I'm stuck with the idea and I like it. I'll just have to figure things out. I do have an idea after kit changes herself she runs into Corn and they talk and Corn is proud of her for joining a gang like she always wanted and they would hang out once in a while and get to know each other more and despite Kit's leader not liking the GGs Corn doesn't care and still hangs out with her AHHH I LOVE WRITING!!!♡ Byeee :3
