The zine showcases exclusive creations from 10 French artists from diverse backgrounds, all contributing their talents to support Palestinian families.

Aware that many of you would like to contribute providing humanitarian aid in the face of the atrocities Palestinians are enduring, we've chosen to create art. This way, you can still be a part of it –essentially, you make a donation by purchasing, and in return, you receive cool art made with love while helping a great cause!

Applications!

Applications for both Zine Contributors and for Graphic Design Mod* are now open!

General Rules are as follows:

➵ All applications will be open from November 24th to December 24th at 11:59pm EST

➵ You MUST be 16+ at the time of application. We will not be accepting any applicants younger than that, even if your birthday falls before publication as this project is also open to adults

➵ A viable discord and email address, as they are crucial for all communication regarding this project

➵ A portfolio of at least 3 pieces of your work. Your examples don’t have to be just for The Magnus Archives, we just ask that most of them be. If you are applying for any specific character(s), you must have one piece depicting each character. They do not all have to be in the same piece. You can submit either one large Google Drive file with all of your work, or up to 5 separate Drive links. We recommend the first option, but either is fine. 

➵ For those who want to apply to create for a specific character, that character can be as obscure as you want. nobody is off limits for this project.

➵This is a SFW project, but examples may be NSFW IF YOU ARE 18+

➵ The creation period is January 1st to March first, with three “official” check-ins during this period

Heyy, living with disability really sucks, and making money while in a bad living situation to boot feels downright impossible.

Well, I'm asking for donations so I can visit my girlfriend for the very very first time! I can't do it on my own, and being able to escape, even for a little, and see her would mean literally everything to me. Every little bit helps

This might be lost in the sea of praise but I still want to say my piece:

@re-dracula is SO GOOD. Like ON SO MANY LEVELS. It is expertly crafted and we'll thought out.

The acting is incredible, like hands down you can hear how everyone is on top of their game, and yeah with many of these performers we already knew how good they are but this new adaptation brings the best in them. And we still have so many more to hear yet!

That brings me to my second point: the directing is so precise, the way the text is interpreted and laid out makes you reconsider stuff about the source material you had never thought of before! From the directing in the soundscaping to the acting there's clearly a vision of what to bring to the audience and it is so well executed!

The soundscaping, editing and music are *cheff kiss* at every moment that you could think a sound to be pertinent it is there! The wolves howling, a struck match, a door, everything is of an incredible quality and you can clearly see(listen) that it was planned and executed to perfection. And the music is just sooooo good they both set the mood perfectly.

And so many little details like the sensitivity and inclusivity stuff they do, the casting was on point, you can very clearly see that this is a work of love. Dracula Daily already made an impression in all of us and made much of last year so enjoyable but you can see(again, listen) that everyone involved here is so in love with the idea, the source material, the work that's needed for a podcast like this.

I am just so enamoured with this, not only do I believe it is perfect for a gothic horror novel to be adapted to audio because as a medium it works so well! But it is also SO WELL DONE.

Just, incredible work, INCREDIBLE work on the part of EVERYONE. If this post gets to anyone on the team please let as many people that were involved in the show (production, cast, moral support, anything and everything!) To know that we are ALL so thankful for everything that you've done and our lives are richer (if only simply as entertainment 💜) by what's a labour of love and you all deserve so much praise!

Building community intentionally is the key to progress.

Look for your local libraries and your state and county representatives and your utilities companies on social media and stay in touch. Go onto social media and go out walking with the intention of finding people and connecting to them. Look for opportunities to build your support network and to find people who crave connection, because that is how we learn about our society and find systemic issues we individually never would have reason to care about otherwise. Doing this gives us ways to improve our lives personally and communally.

I spent the whole day deep cleaning and tidying and sorting the flat. A tidy environment makes me so happy. And now I deserve internet enrichment time.

Gonna start streaming some Skyrim here in a bit hopefully, and unlike other streamers, my goal is to have a run that is chosen and essentially run by Tumblr users. Of course, being a tumblr user myself, this allows me to start the game fresh and ready whenever. However, once this post gets some notes with suggestions on what to do, I will sort through them and make decisions based on the notes entirely on this post.

This will all start the 16th of this month of April. Giving this post plenty of time to take off and give everyone a chance to be involved in it.

Keep in mind, you will control it all, character creation, decisions made, quests taken, major results of storylines, and even down to things like stealing a particular piece of cheese from a particular shelf in a particular building. As well as all the dlc. If you guys suggest it, I do it. And if only one person suggests it, I will do it. However, if two people counter a suggestion, I won't do it. That is the level of control you will have.

And the more reblogs this gets, the more suggestions I get for the stream, as a result, the more fucked up shit I will be forced to do. You could make my character build be an Ork Nord supremacist that ends up fighting for the imperials in the Civil War questline. For shits n gigs. Or you could make me reasonable and essentially just be a graybeard pacifist that only kills out of necessity. Or make me a Goblin Slayer knockoff with falmer.

Streaming whenever I'm able to and have the motivation to here On Twitch and when I have the channel set up, on YouTube. In the mean time I'll be streaming when I've got the time. But when I start streaming this actual plan, I'll have a regular schedule and be able to more often. However that's likely to be early morning so I'll need the youtube channel set up. Once I'm able to dual stream I'll end up doing that. Which may be sooner than I thought. I just need a new ssd for my old desktop as it turns out. So my needed pc budget just got brought down to about $300. I'll have that on Wednesday. And the new ssd in the following days. Sure, that's my spending money for the month, but that will bring me a lot of joy over the next few years so I'd consider it worthwhile. The local computer shop is unfortunately closed on Wednesday and Thursday, though honestly, good call for their workers' sanity.

Why let this poll run for a week when the last few only ran for a day? Especially when the result seems pretty easy to call?

The first thing is that Tumblr doesn't have enough time options for polls. It's annoying and makes running the bracket difficult, because making the decision on which option works best is never going to feel good as is. The first weeks needed to run long enough to get the word out there, especially since this blog was starting from scratch. But then for later weeks, a week can start to drag on. So balancing which to pick when always feels like there is no right decision.

The second thing is that I don't think the result is at all set in stone right now.

I mean, yeah, there is a likely result that I think no one will be surprised by. But I meant it when I said every reblog and every vote counts. Just in this first bracket we've had a ship circulate the poll consistently for the entire week and get a win by less than 20 votes. Look at the tags on some of these polls. The winning ship isn't always the 'bigger' ship. Sometimes it's the fandom that pulls together that wins.

So good luck to both ships! It might not seem easy or even possible to everyone right now, but I don't think the result is in just yet. There's still plenty of time to get those votes in.

Just five things? Not easy, but I'll try.

- Hot chocolate. I always make myself one when I'm writing, only in my spooky mugs (one has dancing skeletons on it, and yes: they're all dishwasher safe!)

- I walk our family dog at dusk, that's when the bats come out. You can only make out their silhouettes, but that's enough. They are small and rotund and fly all over the place, it's mesmerising. If you get lucky, they'll fly right above you, and you can see their fluffy little bellies.

- Reading out loud to my cat. He's so attentive I could swear he understands what I'm saying. Also singing to him. Singing is... really comforting. My cat always makes me happy though, no matter what he's doing.

- Complimenting people. I do my best to get specific with it, and seeing their eyes light up is just the best feeling. (And I always mean what I say. I don't want them to doubt my words)

- Appreciating nature. Maybe that sounds cheesy, but I don't care. Watching the leaves sway and dance in the wind, all the bugs crawling through the grass and weeds, all the different textures of bark, looking for mushrooms or four leaved clovers (I've found three already in my life! One hangs framed above my desk). Seeing how different it all looks in the sun, when it's foggy, during a storm. Taking a moment to take in the scent. Sometimes, I even see bunnies and foxes here, that always feels extra special.

So there we have it! A very incomplete list of the things that bring me joy. I'm finding it hard to breathe today but thinking of this stuff helps, so thanks for giving me the opportunity to talk about it :)
