i think gale having a highly detailed and specific routine is so character accurate. for all his hygiene needs. this man grew up with a mother who still dotes on him like a prince (confirmed by tara), he was wealthy (had a housekeeper), i imagine quite spoilt (got away with summoning dangerous things as a child without so much as a punishment)........ me thinks he enjoys looking after himself and how amazing it makes him feel and has been like that for a long time. me thinks he cares greatly about that stuff and its ingrained in him since childhood

• no way the god of wind and song’s sibling doesn’t love music- even if you’re tone deaf, or hard of hearing, music is about the pleasure it brings and he’ll bring it to you

• you haven’t seen his archon side a lot, since he doesn’t show it all that much, but it’s so far from venti it’s a little scary; but in a sort of admiring way yk

• you guys visit zhongli sometimes, and it’s a free real estate for blackmail material bc of how terrified venti is of him

• zhongli is like that long lost uncle who visits once a year, and you’re his favorite child so he gives you candy and picks on venti for not taking good enough care of you

ok so im on a bnha kick rn (thanks to tododeku fanfics), so im gonna give my readings on different ships that ive heard im also gonna give a ton of headcanons because i can

this’ll be in multiple parts, so the parts are labeled below ^^ dekusquad, bakusquad, villains, heros

starting it off with the dekusquad

midoriya ships

ok so first off, tododeku. this is my shit. i love this. like, this is one of the ships that i think i could actually ship canonically. their dynamic is really nice, and i think that (if todoroki were to get some more character building) they could be really cute together. i have a headcanon that deku finds out that todoroki doesn't have any hobbies and decides that they’re gonna try to find him a hobby that he really enjoys. thus, they start trying every single one that they can think of. eventually, todoroki finds out that he really enjoys watercolor painting. it takes him a while to actually be able to do it well, but eventually he makes a painting for izuku to confess his feelings and as a thanks for helping him. i have,,, so many scenarios for these bitches pls,,, also todoroki is the little spoon don't even try to change my mind,,,

ok next is bakudeku. im not a big fan of this being a canon ship, considering that it would be extremely toxic, which i cannot get behind. but in fanon, if bakugou hadn't, know, told deku to kill himself and bullied him for existing, then i can get behind it. i do think their friendship has so much fucking potential tho. like pls i can see them getting over their differences and working at neighboring agencies and just fucking with each other and having a mostly friendly rivalry. baku really needs to acknowledge and apologize for what he’s done tho, like quit being difficult little bitch and apologize.

todobakudeku. oh jesus where do i start. i think they'd be less toxic than just todobaku or bakudeku. tododeku combined with bakugou wouldn't be bad, because todoroki and deku balance out the more toxic sides of bakugou, but that just wouldn't be a very healthy relationship. a relationship shouldn't be "people balancing out the more toxic sides of the relationship". it just,,, shouldn't be toxic in general,,,,

ok so, then we have izuchako, THIS. THIS IS CUTE AS HELL. PLS. THEYD BE SO CUTE. like, they're a bit too similar, so i don't think it'd be a very interesting or entertaining ship in canon, but i think it'd be really cute if they date for a bit, then decide they want more and break it off. they're both b i g bisexuals, and im not really into the whole "high school sweethearts" shit,,, like im sorry, but it would be so fucking boring to date the same person from high school to death, no thank you. anyways, they'd probably want to explore their identities more, which is valid, so they'd just become friends after the whole affair.

shindeku. 10/10. very fucking cute. deku telling shinsou that he doesn't have a villainous quirk and showing him how useful it can be in hero work. deku helping shinsou get into the hero course by convincing aizawa, which leads to aizawa basically adopting shinsou. shinsou helping deku study, smiling softly while deku goes on a rant about his newest hero analysis. anyways, very cute, they'd go pet cats with todoroki at a cat café.

todoiidadeku. after the stuff in hosu, how tf do you not expect me to ship them,,, like bruh. i like to think that todo confessed to midoriya at the same time that iida did, and midoriya was like "wait, what if we,,, all dated?" and both iida and todo took some time to digest this bc todo is from a very traditional family and didnt even know that polyamory was an option, and iida is kinda the same way and grew up with the stigma, but eventually they went to midoriya and were like "ok, so we're in, but we're gonna need some time to adjust so could we keep it on the low before we tell the class?" and midoriya was "ofc, take all the time you need babes." turns out, midoriya enjoys being the big spoon s o much. like he refuses to be the little spoon, he wants to hold. todoroki lives to be the little spoon, he discovers, so he's almost always the little spoon. iida doesnt mind either way. so in a spoon train, midoriya is in the back, iida in the middle, and todo in the front. they also watched all of naruto (including shippuden) together and iida got way too into it. midoriya, on the other hand, absolutely loves the series and was more than happy to watch it with his loves. todoroki didnt get it at first, but he eventually fell for naruto. that was his first fictional crush. now, any animes he watches (usually action based ones), he almost always loves the protagonist (mainly bc they remind him of midoriya)

dekuyama. pretty similar to iidayama, except deku is the one who confesses to aoyama and they go on a date and its vry cute. they also go ice skating together :D

todoroki ships

todobaku. oh jesus. where do i start. this shit would be so toxic in canon. like, they'd constantly be competing against each other, and not in the good way. in fanon, i can see some potential, but the foundation they have from canon would always leave a bad taste in my mouth if i saw content for it.

todosero. OK. HERE ME OUT. SERO IS HOT ASF IDC WHAT YOU SAY. AND IF TODOROKI WAS JUST A BIT MORE UNHINGED, THEIR DYNAMIC WOULD BE GLORIOUS. anyways thats all, i do like them a lot tho.

todomomo. i can see this in canon. i think it'd be a bit predictable to put them together, but i can see why. i saw this one fanart of todomomo and kamijirou going on a double date and riding bikes together and it was so. fuckin. cute. like pls. after the practical exam, todoroki takes more of an interest in momo, and momo in him. they end up pinning for a bit, until momo comes up to him with a confession letter and is like "todoroki-kun, please accept my feelings!" in a very nervous shout, and todoroki takes a solid three minutes to try and respond. they do end up dating tho, and they're very domestic. they would probably last even past UA, but would break up because hero life is way too stressful for them, especially since they're from elite families and therefore are given more trust and responsibilities from their agencies. there’s no bad blood between them though, they both look back on their relationship fondly and are still friends.

ochako ships

kacchako. its cute, to an extent. in canon this ship would be too much like the "boy with bad attitude tamed by nice girl" trope, which i despise. but in theory, its not too bad. fanon makes it very cute. their whole relationship is just roundface (affectionate), pomeranian (derogatory/j)

iidachako. i can see this in canon too, if deku were to get another love interest. ochako would help iida break out of his shell and become less serious, and iida would help ochako and support her dreams the best way he could without being over bearing. at the beginning of their relationship, iida thought the best way he could support ochako was to buy her a ton of shit and for pay for everything,,, this caused a lot of discourse in their relationship because ochako would get really upset because she felt like she wasn't keeping her end of the deal of their relationship. it took deku going up to iida and explaining it for him to understand and to back off

tsuchako. Y U H. FROG GIRL LOVES HER TALENTED AND BUBBLY GF. PLS. THEYRE SO CUTE. like jfc pls, they would make bracelets for each other in the others colors and then never take them off. they would go on boba dates and visit aquariums together.

iida ships

iidayama. not in canon, just because this is def a crack ship, but y u h. piggy back rides for days. aoyama does iida's makeup and iida feels so pretty and aoyama is so happy to show his bf the world of makeup. aoyama is also genderfluid and iida absolutely slathers them with complements.

tsuyu ships

tokotsu. tsuyu just kinda went up to him and was like "hey, i like you, wanna go out ribbit?" and tokoyami blushed so much before he murmured a soft "sure". they have really opposing music tastes, so they slowly introduce each other to their own music tastes. tokoyami takes tsuyu bird watching, and she's really good at it. she's super patient, and really enjoys the way tokoyami's face lights up when they see a really cool bird. for their first date, they went to the aquarium (its tsu's favorite place to go), and tsuyu told toko so many fucking facts about fish, it was great. she also bought him a whale shark plushy at the gift shop because she noticed that it was his favorite fish to see.

For anyone who doesn't know: Thecorteztwins has an amazing au where she's collected Haven (thicc angel lady who was possessed by a demon disguised as a baby), Claudine (Miss Sinister),Madelyne (clone of Jean Grey), Pyro, Sebastian Shaw, Shinobi Shaw and sometimes Alice (a clone being tested by Claudine)!

I feel like the first few days are really testy. Everyone's got some bone to pick, the usual. But the biggest thing? The name. A brief encounter with paparazzi ends with their name and the reactions go from Pyro and Claudine scoffing at how silly it sounds and what a rip off it is (Pyro being a writer?? U KNOW he wouldn't stand for Alt Marauders) to Shaw sighing about the fact that he's been stuck on a team with a cliche super nickname.

Then there's personal names because once again, Pryo and Shinobi both agree that everyone needs a name to reapply make them unique! Hardly anyone goes for it, ranging from Haven's soft "no thank you" to Shaw punting Pyro into a wall. Madelyne is slightly soft for Pyro's RPG themed alias ideas for her and less than impressed for Shinobi's idea of "Mad Milf".

Alice....I'm definitely thinking she gets nicknamed "White Rabbit" or "Wonderland" because; 1) no one can leave her out of getting a name. 2) Pyro 100% would give a cheesy media related name and 3) I like the very small connections of white rabbit to the white and red queens in Alice in Wonderland (and 4) rabbits always get experimented on :).

Gamma Gals having amazing duos with the ladies of the Marauders? Absolutely!!

Jen and Haven, being an amazing duo and I feel like they'd be the two who would have that issue where they're the only ones who can save the day and end up learning a lot from each other? Haven is probably thanking her stars that she finally gets to meet a hero who believes in her kindness just as much as she does (S H A W).

Just....Haven being able to meet an even bigger woman and trading stories and being GalPals(TM). Its a really interesting concept to me that Haven is someone who was deliberately used to destroy and Jen is someone who's entire identity is formed around smashing and destruction. It's probably rather cathartic to be working with someone who purely doesn't want to resort to violence immediately and who has been used (Haven by her demon and Jen by different people).

But also learning something from each other? Haven being able to see that sometimes you do need to fight for what you love and Haven proves to Jen that even after all this time, it isn't the muscle or power that can save everything, it's her and her drive and will alone. Catch Red and Shaw scoffing about it.

Speaking of, those two could either REALLY clash or really get along, no imbetweens. Have we found another old man for Shaw to wrestle with, Roman style??? (Ngl that would be hot in a sick way)

Skaar and Shinobi? Both long haired, beautiful, sons of big figures, grew up in abusive environments,,,,its a duo. Just put Shinobi into a mini team with Skaar and Daken and we have the "Black haired brood squad"

Rick and Pyro working together to have a joint production??? FIrebomb productions baby!! My podcast ideas? Absolutely would happen when you combine these two and its hell. Aka; Rick and Pyro gossip on their podcast and give advice to starting heroes as immortals and smack talk. But also outside of that I imagine they can get along a lot in the "had a hard time accepting stuff" and "we were heroes who often did a lot for others and got disregarded and hurt for it".

Red and Shaw....there's a lot there. Both are old men who have been pressed on in their lives and affected by masculine presences in their lives...both are regarded as awful shitbags but they're both MUCH more complex and driven by a need for power and stability...lots of thoughts here.

Shaw and Red are one team you do NOT wanna mess with because two old men who are perfectly willing to do what's needed? Red can respect a man willing to get his hands dirty with clear means and Shaw can probably like a guy who has the drive to do what he believes is the better good. Also big hulk man who can give you endless power.

But also differences in them because Shaw abused and continues to abuse Shinobi while Red neglected and most likely emotionally abused Betty but it seemingly trying to make a difference in it now that she's come back? I feel like these two probably have a SUPER in depth conversation when forced to or alone and then never speak about it again.

Spending of Betty! Her and Madelyne?? What a DUO they're litreally a great mix because Maddie is a clone of Jean, Betty was assumed to be a clone at first and often has to suffer being the "domintrix" she hulk. Both have serious issues with their mental health and identities as well as dealing with their lives being ruled or devoted to men who ruin them. Both want freedom and have such passion! I just....so much to say about these two and the similarities. They're both red.

But yeah Phoenix and Harpy?? Skksks Maddie voice: I'm FIRE HARPY nOW

Am I still yelling for her hero name to be Griffin because of how mystical they are and being a bird and lion??? Yeah.

Also sad thoughts but,,,gals talking about their lost kids (Maddie with Nate and Betty suffered a miscarriage induced from stress), the stress of their lovers and who they've lost to (Jean, Emma, Caiera, Jarella,,,) and being manipulated by men for their power (Maddie by Sinister into Goblyn queen and Betty by Leader into Red She-hulk, Harpy, both died).

Anyway point is I can fully see them two just CLICKING or fighting a lot at first until someone points out just how similar they are. Then? Maddie and Betty out here being the brand new Thelma and Louise. Red and Black styles, willing to use force but protect the innocent, both take Alice and this cute kid that Betty absolutely mother henned in her run and,,,two moms and their talented daughters pls step out the way sir.

Tbh I don't think I have much for Samuel apart form him having a small crush on Claudine (and like,,,,not in That Sense, but Samuel does have a big history of falling for smart women or just...OP women). And then a series of gags where Haven wants to know him because he's like Shaw but also incredibly different in thinking and everytime she walks into the room,,,,Samuel is doing some horrific experiment and she just NOPES OUT. Shaw wants to make use of this but it goes horribly wrong oh God why did he try.

Lyra! I just....feel like there could be a lot for her and Claudine and Alice. Lyra was genetically engineered to be used in a war and was bullied relentlessly for being "half man" which...is rather transphobic and sexist but that's her storyline and it's too deeply embedded for me to headcanon over it so...sighs.

But yeah!!! Lyra taking Alice and giving her a night of being able to just....be whoever that night, not being pressured to have an identity of the sorts from anyone and just being able to fight people with a giant green woman. Probably has a lot of deep talks later that night with Lyra, sitting over a building and eating ice cream because it was one of the first things Bruce shared with her and a first realisation that Lyra could be more than someone's daughter.

100% would picture this with Carmilla (Lyra's sister and...also messy kinda clone) or Laura Kinney hopping along and!! Clone weapon woman team!! I could GET INTO this!!! Just...pls marvel give me a team of women overcoming abuse and forming identities among each other and cool women,,,,

But also Lyra admittedly would respect Claudine for her skills and her...tenacity? Yeah, that. She has strength and guts and Lyra probably actually tells her that she'd rather get experimented on by Miss Sinister than some pig of a man and Claudine just "thhhanks?"

Hulk,,,,funny enough I don't think I have many ideas for him yet? Probably gets into a fair few fights with Shaw and Haven over different stuff, Maddie has a bome to pick for Betty,,,I am,,,blank.

I feel like a lot of things for him would be Haven trying to break through into him, maybe each of the Marauders dealing with different parts of the system? I can imagine Shinobi and Pyro don't have a high opinion of the oversized dad until Bruce turns super ashen pale and immediately Joe starts yelling for some whisky and GIRLS....and a fella or two for matchstick and ghost baby here.

Maddie thinking that he's another Scott and then finding out that Hulk's thing is more complicated than Scott simply looking for Jean again. Also Maddie demands that she will forcefully adopt Hulk's kids and these two bonding over abusive dads???

Akutsu:

you’d be upset at first that you were getting bullied, especially by a group of random people. they would physically and verbally bully you to the core.

obviously you’d keep it from akutsu as long as you could, knowing damn well he could literally kill them

one day, they had stolen the bracelet akutsu had gave you as birthday gift and broke it right in front of you, angering you to bits.

“what are you gonna do about it, (Name)?” one of them said, almost shoving you. they all laughed at your humiliation.

akutsu happened to turn around the corner, the sight immediately angering him. he balled up his fists, not being able to control his anger.

but as he was about to do something, you had punched the bully straight in the face, knocking her out and screamed at the other two in the back angrily.

“you wanna try me now?! ive had ENOUGH!” eventually, they would be frightened and ran away.

akutsu would be internally shocked, but would walk up to you, slapping the back of your head a little too hard.

“don’t be stupid. you’re putting yourself in more danger and im gonna have the trouble to watch over you all the damn time, idiot. i could handle a fight more than you could ever!” he would scold harshly, but you knew he cared for you, “yet i can’t say im not proud..”

he made a mental note to take care of the rest of them himself the next day for hurting his s/o. no one should EVER lay a hand on his s/o or they would never see the light again.

wouldn’t admit it, but would secretly watch you from now on, not wanting the same situation to happen

they never spoke to you again after the incident in fear for both their lives and reputation.

Kaido:

unfortunately for you, a group of people would physically attack you from time to time. this ranged from pushing to leaving tacks in your shoes.

kaido wouldn’t realize at first, always being the busy bee he is, but would notice your change in behavior all of a sudden.

he wouldn’t force it out of you but would question your strange behavior constantly, worried about you.

eventually, he would follow you around secretly to see if something was going on, the pit of worry in his chest building up.

he would catch the scene redhanded and would get furious once he saw the person slap you harshly on your cheek. he winced at the sharp sound, almost wanting to choke them out.

“HEY!” he yelled angrily, stomping towards your direction. “what do you think you’re d-“

but before he could finish or make it to you, you grabbed their neck and slammed them against the wall, almost scaring Kaidō away.

“if you wanna act tough, then i guess you gotta take the hit, bitch.”

you’d pull you hand back and deck them hard, seeing them fall to the ground, unconscious. you glared at the other bullies who slowly backed away, shouting apologies.

he would be utterly terrified to make you angry from now on, but would be relieved seeing that you could defend yourself.

he would touch the red spot on your cheek and you’d wince harshly. when he brought you to the infirmary, he looked at you with a guilty look. “why didn’t you tell me, (Name)?” you explained that you didn’t want to add on to his burden and he shyly brought you into a hug, “don’t hesitate next time. im always here no matter how busy i am.. fshuuuu..”

for the next few weeks, the seigaku tennis team (esp momo, inui & ryoma) would be on their asses for hurting someone important to their teammate

Yuuta:

you would get bullied by a group of guys due to the fact that you rejected the ring leader when he confessed to you.

you thought it was ridiculously they’d resort to physical tactics but tried your best to ignore them, hoping they’d go away.

eventually yuuta would get worried at your sudden quietness. you were always so happy and energetic, but lately you were acting strange. “(Name)-san, a-are you okay?” you’d nod and lean your head against his shoulder, wanting to avoid the subject. of course, he didn’t let that slide but decided to give you time.

one day, as you both were heading home from school, the same group of guys saw you two and decided to mess around a bit.

“Look at (Name),” he laughed harshly, earning a confused but suspicious look from yuuta, “she’s bringing her boyfriend over to protect her cause she couldn’t handle us herself.”

yuuta would realize what was happening and why your behavior changed all of a sudden, almost angering him. he gritted his teeth. “don’t bother her, or you’ll regret even going near us.”

they would laugh at yuuta, and mock him, only worsening that anger. you would pull him away, and he obliged, not wanting you to feel uncomfortable.

but when the guy pulled yuuta back harshly, something snapped in you, seeing your own boyfriend get hurt.

“aw, did we anger little (Name)?” yuuta was about to punch them until you grabbed the arm that touched yuuta and twisted it at an odd angle.

he watched as you kicked him where the sun doesn’t shine and threw him to his bystanders harshly, making them all fall at once. “dont EVER touch my boyfriend again!”

they would all be on the ground, dizzy from the impact. he looked back once more at the group, a venomous tone escaping his mouth, “next time you have an issue, come to me and ill gladly teach you a lesson.”

yuuta would place a hand on your back and guide you away, searching you for any injuries. “next time, p-please tell me. you honestly had me worried sick.” he scolded, obviously worried. “i know i don’t say it a lot but i-i love you and i wouldn’t want anything happening to you.”

he would kiss your cheek, and walk you home with a red beat face.

she was born in henan, china on september 21, 1989. having a son would have been preferable for the couple but they settled for her instead.

spent more time with her mother than her father as he worked in the city.

her parents were pious buddhists and she was brought up with it so she was no stranger to lighting up joss sticks at the altar in their house, observing different special occasions.

on the year she turned twelve, her father had gotten the promotion he wanted. the catch? they had to move all the way to america.

at an awkward age, an awkward time, in a country where she barely knew how to speak the language, she couldn’t help but feel impending doom.

maybe she’s right on the money; she stands out like an odd thumb with her pale skin and jet black hair among the freckled, tanned kids with lighter hair. and that’s just in the small town airport.

she’s not one to let small things hurt her but when it happens everyday, any wound inflicted would be left to fester.

(bullying, xenophobia tw) these things spread and multiply; they start with schoolyard taunts, stinging chants, mocking words, told her to go back to china but the kicker was when one of neighbours suddenly provided them with more material.

it’s a small, christian town where everyone knew everyone and anything different that happens is bound to be noticed. and then shunned.

“she’s a witch. my mom saw her and her mom and dad burning stuff and incense thingies in their backyard. she said they had sacrificial offerings and were worshipping the devil.”

it’s not true, of course, but it didn’t matter if it wasn’t the truth. it only mattered if they believed it to be.

she suffered the brunt of it all, with her father working more often than he was at home and her mother staying at home if she’s not outside shopping for groceries.

(implied violence cw) the only time she loses control is when they make jabs at her mother and the teachers have to call her parents in to take her home.

the scholarship to an out-of-state college is an escape, and she dives into her studies like a fish taking to water. it takes long for her to complete her bachelor’s, medical degree and it takes a little longer for her residency when she suddenly made the decision to complete it in athens, greece.

finished her training and worked at the hospital she was a resident before eventually transferring to a psych clinic her senior opened in kaos.

she’s worked there for a little over a year and has no current plans of leaving.

 here are my thoughts/reactions to this weeks episode that no one asked for, which will include spoilers (obviously) so i’m putting them under the cut. i’ve already watched the episode so these aren’t my first reactions technically but they’ll be the same. 

caution: i’m not a fan of jughead or the core four. so i’ll be poking fun/getting annoyed at them.

- why did betty not go straight to alice with the dna test? why would she give chic, who she thinks is capable of hurting her, the opportunity to last out at her? i also still don’t get why she didn’t just get a normal dna test. like you’re a journalist, get the full truth, not just some of it

- i fucking called it!! why do ya think hal wanted nothing to do with chic? remember when he said “you’re letting this stranger into our house”? he wouldn’t call his own son a stranger

- fp is the dad and that’s the facts (that wouldn’t make bughead wrong don’t even try to defend that)

- chic is such a good creep IM LIVING FOR IT

- if it wasn’t a for-profit prison it wouldn’t be the worst idea. but it is so :///

- southside high was falling apart at the seems. the old students were aware of that and were plenty happy to go away! yes the lodge’s had other intentions with shutting down the school, but overall it was a good thing. there’s other, more valid reasons to not like the prisons that aren’t being talked about!!

- lol we know that veronica running for stuco wouldn’t end up well

- fred getting more screen time <333 (even if i don’t totally agree with him)

- does everybody at this school watch the same tv shows how is jughead quoting scandal (which i had to google) universally understood? i’m actually a sophomore and my friends and i quote vines.

- why isn’t ronnie defending herself? she gave that look to archie so he could defend her. where did kick ass veronica i don’t take no shit’ lodge go??

- ‘hunger strike for southside high’ BOI 

- ‘for it to re-open’ i had to pause this when i first watched this scene. he went there for like 2 weeks. toni was his only true friend for the majority of it. he didn’t like the idea of it and didn’t like what he had to do to survive there. the other students were happy with it closing!! why you gotta be so extra?? and if he really wants to get out of riverdale to be a writer he shouldn’t be trying to go back to a school that had teachers who gave up hope on their students

- ew ethel (i was eh with her all together but i’m still >:( over how she got mad at veronica for what hiram did to her father. veronica was one of the only people who was comforting her and tried to make amends. we can’t forget that when that all was going down veronica didn’t like her dad)

- betty talking about her darkness and saying ‘darkness’ in general is the most cringey thing ever. she has some sort of mental illness. i don’t know what but they shouldn’t have taken this ‘darkness inside of me’ approach.

- i wish V tried to become josie’s friend before asking her for an endorsement. actually, i wish the show resolved their friendship ages ago. they’re the one of the few WOC and overall i’m tired of girl x girl friendships being ruined like this

- it’s got so bad that veronica had to bribe josie to endorse her. i know this isn’t gonna go well
