In all honesty I haven’t been keeping up with the Obey Me + NB lore because I can’t autoskip the gameplay levels, but there are potions and stuff in that universe, right?  Now, I checked NileRed, and played some of their videos in the background; for those unfamiliar an example video title is “Extracting DNA from strawberries and eating it”, so yeah crazy science stuff.  You also requested the brothers, but I did have Solomon introduce the general concept because I feel it would be most lore accurate.

Now we can have a chemist MC, who in the human world worked in a lab or whatever, but then they go to the Devildom and all of a sudden there’s so much more to learn! So much more stuff to make and test!  And, wait wait wait, Solomon did you say potions?

Screw chemistry you’re a full on alchemist at this point.  Where’s the nearest lab safety equipment?

Realistically Lucifer wouldn’t let you have any lab extracurriculars or let them be on your schedule.  You only need to do what you came here for, besides how can he know of your intentions?  For all he can know you’re cooking up some demon-killing madness.

Once you get him to crack or Solomon vouches for you, walkie talkie voice; we’re in.

It’ll start with just the classes and some silent longing on your end, dramatically sighing about how you miss your work back in the human world.  Patience is a virtue because once you worm your way into the demon brother’s hearts, they’ll literally remodel a whole room in the HoL as an ideal lab for you.  Anything you want; beakers, materials, fancy machines, you name it.  

For the brothers, spoiling you in such a way was both a blessing and a curse. Seeing you happy was great, but you spend so much time holed away doing your little experiments… they miss you after a while.

oh my, brainwormmm… imagine needing something from them to make your thing, a gift or otherwise… needed like a feather or some keratin from their horns.  I cannot for the life of me think of something cool or unique to make, but hear me out Love Potions.

There’s a soft knock on the door before it cracks open, but you pay it no mind, continuing your intent focus on the bubbling pink liquid on the bunsen burner.  

Lucifer cringes back at the smell as he walks in, sickly sweet and filling the air.  His long strides lead him to your side and he huffs a sigh, “what do you want to try with this batch?”

“A feather,” you say after a moment of deliberation.  “Preferably down.”

With a hum of agreement and a soft woosh one of his large wings spreads for you to take your pick of any of the feathers there.  

“Do you have high hopes this time around?”

“I never have high hopes when it comes to making stuff for you,” you say lightly, filtering your fingers through the soft inner feathers.  He’s immune to almost everything.  “But, higher than usual.”

“I eagerly await your arrival to my chambers, and now I will leave you to it.”

Something that has so much potential but I don't think ive seen anyone talk about is scientist!MC. Like yeah it arguably doesn't match the game thematically but since when does obey me have cohesive themes to begin with. Idk where im going with this I just needed to yell.

But like since I imagine the science curriculum at RAD is rather lacking, I'm cackling imagining that MC running around like "what do you MEAN you people have had millions of years to study and still don't know VSEPR theory???"

It is SUPER fun thinking about the intersection between science and magic, in my opinion. I feel like that magic should work better if you understand the scientific theories behind how things work. If you know why ice is formed, you can be more specific in what you make water do to magically create it.

Also I feel like some of the boys would find it SO HOT to list to you go off on tangents about things they don't know anything about (aka Mams, Levi and Asmo especially). Satan I feel like would get a little competitive in a playful way, wanting to be able to understand what you talk about.

Ok so some updates on the Obey Me Dark Lab au I'm working on:

First, I have decided to redo the main summary to in fact be gender neutral. However, this means I won't be having smut in the main story for a while because I'm still not used to writing gn smut just yet. I'm still testing out and changing things in the first chapter to now fit this gn reader/mc. And specific gendered smut will be for side stories or certain head cannons. (It still will be heavy angst, gorey, and have a lot of yandere men who are touch starved, the main story that is, the first chapter doesn't dive too much into all of that.)

Second, I'm going to eventually post a Yandere! Beelzebub x gn! Mc fanfic before I post the first chapter to get some feedback about me writing gn! Mc so I can improve for the main story release.

Third, I am also working on the brothers designs for this au. (I still haven't fleshed out how I want Barb or Dia to look yet.) So far only Beelzebub is done (I'm currently working on Satan's). I'm mainly just using their in game sprites and adding things to their demon forms + different clothing. (I will actually draw them out myself in my horrible art style whenever I get the time to do so, probably do some on the camping trip i go on next week. Also for the clothing, think more like insane asylum clothes... kinda like season two of American Horror Story. Or just comfy clothes like sweatpants and a t-shirt.) (The demons will look more like demons, I am determined to try.)

Fourth, I'm going to make little character files (like how doctors keep records of patients.) They will show the information about each of the characters. (This will not only include the brothers + Dia and Barb, but also head scientist Solomon and lead director Simeon.)

Finally, I'm going to try and eventually make a masterlist once I get all these stories rolling. I just have to post the content and learn how to make a masterlist first...Anyway you all have an amazing day and I hope to have the story posted sometime soon. (College is a pain in my back.)

I know this isn't something I'd usually post, but I would really appreciate reblogs because I think people should read this.

Ok - so - I like to listen to very old radio shows, especially mysteries and thrillers. Some are very good, and some are hilariously bad.

There is this one that I listened to the other day that was such a perfect prediction of the future it scared me.

And so, Spoiler warnings if you want to listen to it for yourself.

And it's important to note: This is a story from 1942

It is Episode 20, "Beware of Tomorrow." The basic gist is it follows a scientist, the scientist's compatriot, and the main character, another scientist invited to the mansion/laboratory. The head scientist has created a giant, 300 pound robot, named Alber capable of "solving problems," but also, "obeying commands" as well as things like walking, talking, situational awareness, etc. It can "think" and solve problems you ask, but it still follows the orders of what programmed it to begin with.

Sounding a bit familiar yet?

Well, the very night the MC arrives, Alber kills the scientist and flees into the woods. The lab assistant says that it is too dark and dangerous to chase a robot through the forest with just the two of them. He explains for a while now that the doctor was planning to create an even better version of Alber, and that would eventually render Alber obsolete, and because "Alber can think on his own," he suggests that's why Alber killed the doctor.

They plan to contact the police in the morning, and will be able to take Alber out of commission because Alber needs to come back and charge his battery by the end of the night.

Well, morning comes, and the assistant guy is way, way too calm about this. He's just making breakfast, while the scientist's body is still just ... there. The MC returns to the lab, and just as suspect, Alber has returned and is in a sleep mode, charging. He takes this chance to look into what is going on and finds that the robot did not "think" about killing the doctor, rather, it was programmed to. You probably know where this is going by now but the lab assistant is revealed to be the one who did it, because he wanted to create stronger, more weaponized robots (at this point in time, America is still involved in WW2), but the doctor wanted robotics to aid people, not harm. Then the assistant had Alber kill the MC because MC refused to work on more "weapons," was going to tell the police, etc, end of story.

Once again, emphasizing - 1942.

They already knew the bullshit that was going to take place, hence "Beware of Tomorrow."

Now I'm telling this story because I'd like to talk about this in the modern day. There's tons of content, movies, books, theories, tons and tons of things that talk about the fears, issues, etc, of androids becoming sentient, conscious, and emotional beings. And just what they might be capable of. But what we see less of is what the REAL worry is, and what this story was trying to convey.

Truly, I do believe that technology, robotics, mechanics, were developed with good intentions by their originators. I think it is a good and wonderful thing - in the right hands.

But then ... It lands in the wrong hands. And that's when technology becomes dangerous.

We should not be worried about the progression of science and technology in itself, but the people behind it. Those that seek to control humanity by different methods, and you can name countless entities of such. That is what "Beware of Tomorrow" was saying.

A few things, one - the application of human emotions to Alber. The doctor's assistant was easily able to create a believable story that Alber must've killed the doctor out of jealousy and fear. So MC said, "Yeah, that makes sense." Because Alber can think, right? Yes, he can - but he does not think with emotion. We as humans are emotional creatures, and so we apply emotions often to even the most inanimate of objects. So it was quite easy to fool the MC with this explanation. Alber is a robot, but they, the characters, apply humanity to something that is not human. The doctor even gave Alber pronouns, he/him.

Often, we've come to fear technology out of this belief that they are human, and think as humans do. We fear that they will think for themselves. But truly, their "minds" are what they have been programmed to be, and the data they collect. They can obtain the logic of millions of people via the Internet, but remember, those are still our brains, not things it came up with on its own.

Two, as mentioned in the story, Alber's creator had good intentions. It was those (the assistant) that saw the potential for other things. We should be less worried about technology gaining sentience, and be focused on who is running the show, because they are the real problem, and they WANT you to disassociate the robot from the creator. For instance, say you're faced with a killing machine, like the hounds from Fahrenheit 451. It's dangerous. It needs to be stopped. Destroying it will solve the problem at the moment, but it is the people who are the problem, and nothing will stop until they are.

Three, the MC dies for refusing to collaborate with the assistant. This is a theme we see almost everywhere in situations where people are trying to make a change. For instance, ACAB. The police are a system, and those individual officers who want to "change" the system, to uphold what SHOULD be the purpose of serve and protect, well, what happens to them? They get fired, hazed, chastised, etc. Three things can happen from here - they can't beat the system so they join it. Or, they quit being a cop and move on to something else where they can actually do good. And third ... they die. Those who actually went out of their way to protect people end up dead.

While the story was about a robot, its real focus was society and its systems. Of the people in charge and the real problems we face. Robots wear the face of their owners. The good are shoved aside in the pursuit of progress. Safety isn't the number one priority. Money, greed, power all become the focus, and that's why we suffer. Which, I'm sure you already know. This isn't anything new - and that's what a story written in 1942 proves. And stories before that - stories all the way back to before man could even write. So keep your eyes on the real enemy. Don't let their ploys blind you.

Welcome to a new series of posts kinda. I thought it would be a good idea to write down official OC intros somewhere so y’all would have something to look to for information.

I won’t give you all the information, some of it is for y’all to find out via asking questions or stories I may or may not finish, but I will give you all the basics and things you need to know.

Please note that this is currently a massive WIP, so there’s not much here yet! You can at least see what my plans are for the future right now.

Asterial / Entropy Cirque OCs

Asteria is the name of my fantasy universe. Takes place in modern day, in a universe parallel to our own. We used to live in harmony with magical beings, but after the Great War, they fled our half of the world and build a new home in a realm invisible to humans.

Entropy Cirque is an interdimensional circus (made by my friend @aetherphobia) where characters from all sorts of different universes can meet and interact. Many Asterian characters find themselves in the Cirque.

Charles Duras

Head CEO of Duras Corp. and one of the most famous Asterian figures. One of the few royal angels left in the world, he runs pretty much the entire transportation industry. He’s also the richest man in Perzion City.

Twisted Wonderland OCs

Takes place in an AU similar to canon, with Comet Yuusonya as the main character.

Scientist MC; Mirror Realm

Inspired from @boozye 's writing, "MC is trapped in the mirror realm but isn't worried about it"! (Older Brothers) (Younger Brothers)

However, this focuses more on scientist MC inside the mirrors- they are a menace and I love them all the more for it. Not as joke-y as usual, tried for an unerved, slightly paranoid feel so heads up.

GN MC (switches from 3rd PPOV to 1st ppov)

MC dries off their hair and looks around their room, still a little unnerved by the silence. Everyone was long asleep; even Lucifer had come to check up on MC one last time over 4 hours ago. The side effects must be lingering, because MC was reluctant to even lay in bed. So instead they went to their coffin bookcase and pulled out the notebook taped under the lowest shelf. They walk back to their desk, open it to a clean page and subconsciously choose a pen in their most comforting color.

Experiment Catalog 17: The Mirror Realm

Preliminary Notes:

This is what we in the field would report back as "impromptu experiment conducted under less than ideal conditions". Uhh so long story short, Solomon and I were fucking around with portals and when we tried to physically combine 2 spells it backfired pretty bad. Solomon was forcefully pulled into the 7 circles of hell and when I tried to grab him I was yanked into the mirror realm. Luckily I found my way to the House of Lamentation pretty quickly, and when I told them what was going on they were able to summon Dia, Barbs, and the angels.

Since I seemed okay, Barbatos and Simeon went to help Solomon in the 7 circles. He may be a strong sorcerer but even the 7 circles were going to push his limits, and with Barbatos and Solomon both gone, I was stuck in the mirror for a few days until they got back and recovered. I tried to find out as much as I could while I was on the other side, but since I didn't have my notebook I'm just going to try to write down as much as I remember.

Observations:

I could jump to, and appear on, any mildly reflective surface. Spoons, glass, mirrors, even water bottles under the right lighting. But the thing is, the clarity of the surface directly correlates to how I feel being in that "spotlight". A foggy mirror would make me disoriented, elongated and curved surfaces like spoons would make me dizzy- like vertigo.

There mirror realm is... flat. I couldn't go left or right, only turn in those directions. It was like I was walking a long, pitch black corridor with random spots of light surrounding me- these lights were the surfaces I could appear on.

There was also no "floor" or gravity for that matter. If I confidently took a step up like there were stairs, I would move upwards and reach higher spots of light.

Everything was kind of topsy turvy. The location of the spots of light didn't correlate at all with the location in the real world- there was a bathroom mirror and the planetarium glass right next to each other. I could jump from Asmo's hand mirror to Lucifer's study in 3 steps but need to walk for 10 minutes to reach my room again.

Speaking of Asmo, that first day he carried around a gilded hand mirror with roses and vines so I could visit him at any time. I was kinda loving my "Barbie and the Diamond Castle" moment.

I could speak normally but they said there was an echo to my voice.

The reflections of the brothers would only appear next to me when they were in sight of the reflective surface- accurate to height even if I could only see their faces through the "mirror". The reflections felt like real people- soft and squishy, made of skin at the minimum- but they were cold, quite literally. They didn't breathe and they didn't have a pulse. I made sure to check for mine, so I was never technically dead. That should count for something, right?

I tried watching TV with Levi for a while but there was something alluring about the shows he would put on. I could have sworn the characters were looking right at me. Since the show reflected into the mirror as well, it felt like I could just walk right in...

Beel tried to feed me, and while the food did appear as a reflection next to me, I couldn't taste it- I still pretended to eat because he seemed really worried.

I wasn't hungry, I was never tired and I didn't need to sleep in the mirror realm. The first night, they tried to stay awake with me, but they all eventually fell asleep. I walked around for a bit and watched them sleep peacefully.

I wonder if this is how Lilith felt.

When I got bored I went back to my room. I stayed there for a while, fiddling with items to see if I could get them to appear in the mirror or affect them in the real world, when I became acutely aware of someone watching me. I could have sworn I felt breathing on my neck, but of course there was no one there. The darkness and silence must have been making me paranoid.

I don't know where my reflection clone was.

I don't understand the logic of the mirror realm. People would always show up of course, but when animals were reflected, they were always scaled up (I hauled ass to a different mirror when a spider crossed the mirror, that bitch was 3 times my height 💀 Im never going to the attic again if Belphie isn't there)

There are gaps in my memory. Whenever the brothers thought it would be funny to cover the surface I was in and send me into the darkness, there is a little gap. Do you know in a videogame, when the character dies and they disintegrate, the screen going black before the character reappears like nothing happened? I know what that feels like now.

I think I'll try harder to keep my game characters alive.

I lost my concentration once and "fell". I really thought I was going to die. I must have fallen for over 10 minutes before I ended up on the lake by Diavolo's castle- I had recognized the reflection of the gazebo and that had stopped my fall. I wonder how long it would have gone on if I hadn't seen it.

Text looks weird but I don't have trouble reading it. It felt like one of those visual puzzles where as long as the first and last letters were in the right place, your brain automatically fits the right words to the image. The one thing I couldn't read where numbers- everything would go fuzzy the harder I tried.

Oh, and there was something else. It wasn't exactly a corridor. There were layers to the path- portals of light I couldn't reach and would require going in directions I could physically not move in. I thought I saw my human friends in one of those. In another I thought I saw the Celestial realm.

Dark surfaces were fine to cross, but when I crossed a black mirror, voices started whispering threats and loving promises in the same breath. I climb around those now.

I didn't want to ask for help, and I knew they didn't forget about me, but I really wish Solomon and Barbatos would hurry up.

One night I tried breaking the mirror from my side, just to see if it would do anything. Sometimes the entire room was reflected, other times only items I tried to grab. I never found the pattern. Mammon eventually came to find me, I told him I was just wanted to see how noisy I could be within the mirror. Mammon said it was very faint, even though he was only one room over. So if I was killed, I guess they wouldn't hear me...

Theoretically of course.

There was nothing in there with me after all.

MC stares at the last line until their eyes burn. They look back up and catch a glimpse of the mirror across from their bed. They'd never been the superstitious type but ever since coming back they threw a blanket over it every night and when they were in the room alone. They close the notebook and tape it back into place before deciding to sleep with Belphegor in the planetarium. They've had enough of confined spaces for a while.

"I don't think I like the mirror realm all that much."

I’ve started watching the Backyard Scientist on Youtube and I cannot stop thinking about MC and Solomon, or MC and the First Years, or MC and some of the more irresponsible second years doing really really stupid and irresponsible science experiments. Lucifer hearing MC utter “Oh my god the table’s on fire” and no one’s ever seen him move that fast before in all his years of living. Riddle hearing “I’m wondering why I’m pouring molten aluminum into a watermelon?” And he’s offing heads before he can even see what’s going on. Jamil overhears MC going up to Kalim like “You know what’s really cool? Fire tornados” and he just about kills MC on the spot Give me irresponsible science experiment MC I’m gonna fuckin’ write it myself. Human Shenanigan Hour just got a new source of inspiration.

Obey Me! MC Teaches Lucifer And Satan About Lovecraftian Lore

Lucifer prided himself on being able to teach you all the different things about the Devildom.

While people often hung off his every word when he spoke about things, especially Devildom trivia, it wasn’t always fulfilling speaking to them as most of them already knew about it. So being able to tell you, someone who knew nothing about the Devildom or it’s culture, was definitely a stroke to his pride.

He had been noticing though, that you were talking a lot about stuff from the human world. Though he didn’t find it boring, he didn’t necessarily find it interesting.

Until one day, when you were both in his study talking….

You had brought up lovecraftian lore in reference to a new sea creature that was just discovered in the human world.

As you kept on talking, explaining the similarities and about some of the lore, he was intrigued.

Gets you to tell him more about the subject.

He just listens and asks questions when he has them.

At the end of it, he’s just sat there taking everything in.

He finds the eldritch element to the lore the most intriguing.

Starts to wonder if the people that first came up with the lord were even human.

You probably think he’s forgotten about the whole thing, until one day he just starts talking to you all about it.

He ends up telling you about all this stuff he found out about the lore.

He secretly appreciates you telling him about it. It allowed the two of you to have a nice bonding experience.

Satan had been dazzling you with all of his knowledge of the Devildom during your stay.

Knowledge is a great gift, one he loves sharing with you.

You had been trying to teach him stuff in turn but, he pretty much knew everything you had told him.

While you guys where hanging out together in his room, you saw a book that made you think of the books by H.P. Lovecraft, and lovecraftian lore in general. So you decided to ask him if he knew about it.

He hadn’t heard of those books before, or the author, or the concept of lovecraftian lore in general. And now he was so intrigued.

As you tell him all you know on it, he becomes more and more intrigued and amazed.

Thinks the premise of the whole lore is amazing. And quite like a lot of Devildom myths and stories.

You guys spend hours talking about it, and he just fires off more and more questions.

At some point you end up buying him books on it.

He locks himself away for like a week straight, just reading them all.

Once he’s finished reading the books he comes to you beaming!

And you guys talk more on the subject as he starts to tell you all about what he read.

For weeks you guys just keep on talking about it, coming up with your own theory’s on it, ect. Much to the chagrin of everyone else.

It’s an experience he cherishes.

Ends up finding books from the Devildom that are similar and showing them to you.

Probably writes his own story based on what he learnt.

MC carried two centrifuge buckets with blood to spin and sperate. Though, when they took a step towards the megafuges, a bright and brilliant light engulfed them - breaking the laws of physics and everything MC knew. They were in Devildom.

Lucifer

The human showed even less skin than he did - he noted with some amusement

He watched as they looked around them in shock, but taking everything with a calculated eye

The human was smart - he just wasn't sure if they were too smart for their own good or if it would benefit their studies. Both, probably

Also a bit relieved that the human has and can hold down a job - they should be responsible

Mammon

Eh? This is the human he's supposed to be helpin'?

They look weird in that get up - why do they have to wear all of that weird stuff? Is it normal for a human?

Why does the human also act like they don't know what to do with their hands? Because they could have blood on them? Does the human really think that a demon hasn't been around blood before?

Honestly doesn't get that it could be infectious

Does think that he could make money off of human blood

Will steal the lab goggles and try them on, both on top of his sunglasses and without his sunglasses.

He looks like a dork - no one looks good in lab goggles

Leviathan

Low key disappointed they don't smell like medical equipment

High key thinking of all of the tropes about scientists in anime

Are they a mad scientist that will experiment on the demons to try and learn more?

Wants to use the lab coat for a cosplay - but it could be contaminated and MC wants it destroyed or thoroughly cleaned. He grabs it before it could be destroyed.

Is excited that they look like a scientist

Scientists are well read, right?

Doesn't realize that in order to work in a lab the person sometimes just needs a high school degree

Wants to learn more about what MC does

Finds peer reviewed articles on a regular basis and shares with MC

Also likes to compare the history of phlebotomy to current medical practices

Oh my goodness, that PPE is not flattering

Low key excited to see what they look like underneath - the mystery is alluring~

Wants to just get that PPE off them as soon as possible

Cringes at the idea of getting blood and other body fluids all over MC's clothes

Helps MC take care of their skin - washing their hands so often and constantly wearing a face mask has left damaged skin

Has probably eaten a person before, he's a demon that's hungry

Wonders how the blood tastes

Doesn't really care if there are additives to the blood like lithium or potassium phosphate

Doesn't really want the hemolyzed stuff, though

Isn't too upset when he is told no - he was more curious. There wasn't that much blood in the tubes anyways

Belphegor

When he learned about it, he wished he was there to make fun of MC for being a nerd

Would have said they're even more afraid of showing their face in public than Levi

Realizes that their profession could be why MC forgave him for killing them, they deal with death and blood on a regular basis

Feels a little thankful that MC worked in a lab

Diavolo

A human that's into their science? He's excited that the human may have a good amount of knowledge when it comes to humans, at least their bodies. He thinks it could strengthen the bond of the realms of you teach the demons and angels on humans.

Has a morbid curiosity on how the human will cope with realizing magic, demons, and angels exist. It will flip their world of science upside down.

Will be disappointed if they struggle too much and goes into denial

Will be overjoyed if the human seizes the opportunity to further enrich their understanding the different worlds

Barbatos

Is amused when they try to protect him from touching their lab coat and blood samples for him to dispose of

Informs them that demons are not affected by human ailments

Takes some notes on the PPE they're wearing for when he's cleaning and torturing Diavolo's enemies

Will prepare archives on demon biology at Lord Diavolo's library in the event they want to browse them

"No! You're not supposed to eat that!"

"Why?"

"It's uncooked!"

"Cupcake, no?"

"MC, that's just raw batter."

"Ba-ter... is cupcake!"

"No, not yet! You'll get stomach pain if you eat it at is!"

Simeon, who'd been preparing the chocolate icing at the workbench, watched the exchange and let out an amused chuckle. "Calm down, Luke," he advised. "While I did say that this is the MC that we know, I think her current state is making her behave like a human child. You ought to simplify your sentences to make her comprehend what you said."

Before the toddler could dip her finger into the mixture, the said angel quickly shoved the baking tray into the preheated oven. Shutting the door, he turned around and exasperatedly said, "I know, but what happens if something happens to her while I wasn't looking?"

"Don't worry about it," assured Diavolo, who was standing next to the oblivious toddler with an apron on him. "I don't mind looking after her while you're preoccupied."

"My Lord," called Barbatos nonchalantly. "I'm certain that what he meant did not involve dabbing each other's faces with cupcake batter."

"Aw... But MC and I had so much fun!" The young Prince then glanced at the toddler and winked at her as he drawled out, "Right?" To which, she placed her small hands on her mouth and giggled. Luke could only sigh in defeat while Simeon let out a sheepish chuckle.

"I see that you're all having fun here."

Everyone's head snapped into the source's direction. The first to react was Luke, who seemed relieved to see the person standing at the entrance.

"Solomon!" he greeted. "You're finally here!"

"Hey," followed Simeon with a wave. "Or should I say, 'Welcome back.'"

If Solomon hadn't been so busy that he wasn't able to sleep and eat properly, then the past few days had truly tested his perseverance; and Luke and Simeon knew this better than anyone. As soon as the entrance to the Purgatory Hall swung open, the sorcerer went straight to his room, barely even greeting the two angels who'd been expecting him for dinner.

Once the wooden door shut behind him, he marched towards his table where he placed the outlandish plant and spellbook. Like a mad scientist, he rummaged through his large archive, pulling one spellbook after another and leaving them wide open on the table, and made concoctions from the plant extract.

At first, the two concerned angels thought this was very strange. Perhaps it was another one of those weird assignments his teacher delegated, they'd think. So while he was preoccupied inside his room, they would take turns dropping by his room to bring him food, and then returning to collect the empty dishes left outside.

Luke was especially worried, for he felt like it was his first time witnessing this side of Solomon. But Simeon would have to assure him that the said sorcerer was probably involved in something urgent and hectic that he could only sacrifice mere minutes for food and rest. It did help ease the younger angel a little, but Simeon would be lying if he were to say that he wasn't worried about their friend either.

And when Solomon finally left his room and told them the truth, they weren't sure whether they should feel relieved that they at least got a transparent answer behind the hecticness, or be very concerned that MC had been transformed into a human child in a place like Devildom.

MC's eyes lit up, and she babbled, "Solomo'!" She scrambled down the chair and dashed towards him.

The said sorcerer, too, gleamed. He knelt down with his arms out, and right when she hugged him, he wrapped one arm around her waist to pick her up, holding her by his waist as he stood.

"Good to see you, too, MC," he greeted. "It has been a while since we last saw each other. I must say, you've been getting prettier by the day." A shy smile broke across her face. She shoved her face into the crook of his neck, letting out a meek coo.

"Oi, Solomon." Mammon's voice suddenly chimed in. "What's your big deal flirtin' with her? Has hanging out with Asmo turned ya into another creep?"

The champagne-haired demon scoffed. "How rude!"

"Well, I don't see any harm giving a young lady a compliment or two. Besides, I'm here mainly because I need to give MC the antidote."

At that instant, everyone stopped what they were doing.

"Th-That means...!" trailed off Luke.

"Yeah," confirmed the wizard, while his gaze was on the stuffed crow that the little girl was trying to befriend him with. "MC can finally return to her normal self."

When he said that, Solomon was expecting a few sighs of relief and some cheers. While the former might be the case among ones like Lucifer, very surprisingly, murmurs of reluctance reached his ears.

"Eh?" Leviathan was the first to say something. "That means no more The Magical Ruri Hana: Demon Girl marathon?"

"That's a shame," sighed Satan. "I thought we could read one last Grimm's fairy tale tonight."

"Aw..." whined Asmodeus. "I'll miss playing dress-up with our little Sheep-chan!"

"You guys," sighed the Avatar of Pride.

"Well, I certainly wasn't expecting such anticlimatic responses," Solomon remarked playfully. "However, I do see why some of you are rather reluctant, given how adorable MC is at her current state. But putting aside the fun and games, I think it's time she should return to her normal self."

"Yeah," agreed Beelzebub. "I kind of miss MC's cooking."

"And using her lap as my pillow," chimed the younger twin. "I dare not do that while MC is a human child."

"Is that all you are worried about?" muttered Simeon with a sheepish smile.

Placing the apron on the workbench, Diavolo couldn't help but allow his gaze to fixate on a certain white-haired demon. "You seemed rather neutral about this, Mammon," he remarked quietly.

"Huh?" The said demon glanced at him initially, before he looked back ahead. "You can say that. But, I mean, she'll be MC regardless of which state she's in. So to me, it doesn't really matter as long as whatever's best for her."

The young Prince let out a low hum. "I see," he responded. A smile then broke across his face as he said, "I must admit, Mammon. I didn't think you'd be the philosophical one here."

"What's that s'posed to mean?!"

"It's time," announced Barbatos. "Let us join Solomon and the rest in the living room."

With everyone else standing around a few feet away, Solomon placed the toddler on the sofa, stepping away from the yawning girl who was still hugging the crow plushie. He knelt in front of her, holding up a small test tube half-filled with transparent seafoam green liquid.

"Would you like to drink some of this, MC?" he offered. "It's sweet, like syrup."

"Can-y?" The girl babbled out of curiosity.

Solomon merely nodded in response. "Yeah, it's something like candy. You'll love it."

MC needn't be told twice. She reached out, to which Solomon helped tilt the glassware to her lips, and began chugging down the substance down to its final drop. Everyone else watched in anticipation.

The sorcerer stepped away, and then, all of a sudden, the toddler was shrouded by a bright green light. It was so glaring that everyone had to shield their eyes and squint, trying to see past the glare to know what was happening, only to no avail.

But at last, the wait was over. The light faded, and instead of a human toddler, there sat a human woman dressed in a grownup version of the maroon gown, donning a pair of matching-coloured pumps and a shiny tiara on her head. The crow plushie dressed in its red cape and tiara was still in her grasp.

"What...?" was the first thing she said, looking very disoriented.

"MC, you're back to normal!" cheered Luke before lunging in for a hug.

"MC~!" Asmodeus joined him clinging to her side while Luke hugged her waist. "I missed you so dearly! Do you miss me? I'm sure you did!"

The said woman was even more confused at this point. "I don't get it. What happened?"

"It's a long story," was Solomon's answer. "But I'm sure the rest are willing to tell you all about it in a while"

"But first," joined Beelzebub, adorning a look of anticipation. "Let's eat some of those cupcakes that you made with Luke and Simeon."

"Cupcakes?" MC repeated.

"Oh, yes," Simeon said with realisation. "I almost forgot about them. Come on, Luke. Let's finish up the cupcakes. After that, we can have them with some tea while MC finds out what had transpired."

"Ah!" The said angel instantly released her. "I better go check on them before they get burned! We'll be right back, MC!" With Simeon trailing behind, he rushed into the kitchen, praying that the cupcakes would still be alright after who knows how long it's been inside the oven.

"Ya heard them," Mammon said. "We've got lotsa explaining to do. Anyway, let go of her, Asmo! How many times do ya need to touch her in three days?"

"Why, Mammon!" sighed the Avatar of Lust. "You should know the answer by now~"

"I can already tell where this is leading to," muttered Satan, shaking his head.

"For once, I agree with Mammon," voiced the youngest sibling.

"That's it!" Leviathan chimed in. "Release her at once! You've had spent far too much time with her!"

"Don't wanna!" The champagne-haired demon whined, clinging onto MC tighter.

"Let go already, ya creep!"

"Who do you think you're calling a creep?. Maybe you should take a look at your scummy self first before opening that mouth of yours!"

"What'd ya say?!"

"Enough!" snapped Lucifer.

Although, as expected, none of the brothers were paying attention to him. They were far too involved in their own business to even be intimidated by the eldest.

"Don't worry," assured Diavolo, placing a hand on Lucifer's shoulder for comfort. "Give them some time, and they'll all calm down."

"I think you're forgetting these are my brothers we're talking about," muttered the eldest demon, heaving an exasperated sigh. Just when he thought the headache would be over once MC returned to her normal state.

The said human, who'd miraculously escaped Asmodeus's grasp before he could drag her into the sibling squabble, turned to Solomon who was watching the exchange with a mild look of amusement.

"Did I really miss out a lot?" she asked.

To which, he merely said, "Oh, rest assured. We have all the time in the world for stories over cupcakes and tea. Anyway, shall we join Simeon and Luke in the kitchen?" With that, the two humans left to join the angels, leaving the demons in the living room to settle down their altercation before they were called over to the dining hall.
