The thousands of voices that filled your ears and the sharp glare from the sun against your closed eyelids were the first things you noticed. Slowly, you opened your eyes and took in your surroundings. You were in the middle of an arena with hundreds of foul creatures in the stands, cheering and throwing taunts when they noticed you were awake.
You tried to look further, but as soon as you moved your head a sudden sharp pain shot through it, making you wince. You didn’t remember getting a blow to the head, which meant it was probably a pretty bad one. As you stood tied to the pole with chains against your wrists, you watched a few guards drag a figure between them. They tied it to the pole next to you, and left it slumped against the ground.
That’s when you remembered.
The fight. A lightsaber. Obi-Wan fucking Kenobi.
You two had been ambushed by the very targets he’d been hunting, and you only got caught up in the crossfire because he had asked for your help. He hadn’t needed you, and you didn’t have to accept, but something compelled you to and now you were stuck in this mess. If only you were smart enough to be able to walk away.
Unfortunately, Obi-Wan was your weakness.
You watched his unconscious figure lean against the poll, and you couldn't help but let your eyes trail over him. They jumped from the way his strong hands hung in the handcuffs (something you definitely had thought of before, just in a different situation) to the way the sun hit his smooth skin and highlighted his cheekbones. You watched his muscular chest rise and fall steadily with every breath, and how his golden hair seemed to shine even brighter. You even let your gaze travel even more south, but it quickly jumped up again from the guilt.
You blinked and redirected your gaze before his force, or magic—something—somehow notice your staring, but it was already too late. Obi-Wan grimaced as he opened his eyes, licking his lips and clearing his throat. The dry desert air did nothing but evil to your lungs.
Finally, he looked over at you and said, “I know I’m handsome, darling, but there may be a time and place for that.”
Your eyes immediately moved to his and you found him smirking smugly at you, which you couldn’t help but roll your eyes at.
“Oh, please, you wish I was admiring you, Kenobi. I was just wondering how the hell I should get back at you.” Every word from your tongue was drenched with faux venom.
Obi-Wan lifted an eyebrow. “Oh, really? And what might I have done to upset you this time?”
You laughed humourlessly at his words, gesturing around the both of you. “Is your skull really that thick? I’m stuck here because of you.”
He looked at you sceptically. “Me? Weren’t you supposed to be the look out and keep an eye on my back?”
“No, well—yes, but it wasn’t my fault.” If you had to be honest, you had been distracted by him. Obi-Wan had sat and talked with you, always being his charming self. So, really, it was his fault you hadn’t noticed the ambush. “You dragged me into this in the first place.”
He shook his head with a smile and tried to stand up straighter. “If I remember correctly—“
“You probably don’t, you took a pretty ugly blow to the head,” you interrupted. He fixed you with a pointed look, but it only made you more amused.
“—you weren’t forced to come with. You wanted to be with me.”
You grimaced at his choice of words, but were determined not to let him in on your feelings.
“And if I remember correctly, you begged me. So technically, you wanted to be with me.”
His smile told you he was enjoying this just as much as you were, and had no plans on stopping. “Oh, you know me so well, darling. I always want to be with you.”
“Exactly what I wanted to hear,” you smirked.
Even though you loved the words coming from his mouth, they were filled with the same sarcastic venom as yours. If you had to be honest with yourself, it hurt. You tried to ignore the feeling when your eyes moved to a movement in the further end of the arena. Two convoys were starting to move towards you and Obi-Wan, with two people inside of them. Obi-Wan straightened when they were within earshot.
“I was beginning to wonder if you’d got my message,” he said.
A younger man and woman was being led out by guards and you could see the boy was also a Jedi, but one in training, from the robes he wore to the braid in his hair.
“I retransmitted it,” he said, “just as you requested, Master.” The couple were being tied to a pole each, the same way you were tied. “Then we decided to come rescue you.”
Obi-Wan rolled his eyes as the corners of his lips tugged into half a smile. “Good job.”
You almost laughed at his sarcasm and managed to let out a snort instead. That was the first time the man seemed to have noticed you. His eyes studied you from top to bottom and then turned to Obi-Wan.
“Who is this you are with, Master?” he questioned.
Obi-Wan glanced at you, sending you a quiet question. Who were you to him?
“They—“ he began.
You interrupted him before he could finish. You were dreading to hear the words ‘they’re just my friend’, even though you knew you could never be anything more.
“I’m his amazing partner,” you smiled. “The one who always gets him out of these messes.”
The man raised an eyebrow and glanced at his Master. “Really?” he asked.
Obi-Wan threw you a pointed look. “No, I’m the one who always gets you out of messes, not the other way around,” he said. “If you had just done your job and kept a lookout we wouldn’t be here.”
You feigned offence at his remark. “Excuse you, you were the one distracting me, which means it was really all your fault,” you said.
“So you do admit I am a distraction to you, darling?” Obi-Wan smiled smugly.
You choked on your words and felt your cheeks burn. You knew he was unaware of your feelings, but that only made it hurt more. Maybe entertaining this sort of flirty banter wasn’t a good idea. It only made your hopes for something more to happen multiply. And that wasn’t fair—to either of you.
“No,” you bit out before you looked away from him entirely. He frowned, but turned away to converse with the other Jedi as you tuned them out.
Obi-Wan Kenobi was confused.
He had asked for your help on his mission because he knew you were in a nearby town, and because you knew how to handle your blasters. Really well. He had always admired that about you, even though he considered them a bit uncivilised, and he would never admit it. Instead Obi-Wan always decided to send a snide remark or comment your way, even when you were shooting perfectly.
“Maybe you should try hitting the target one day, y/l/n,” he shouted the one time you had missed your practice target.
What he didn’t know was that you had missed because you had been staring at his training with his lightsaber. You couldn’t help it; because, come on, Obi-Wan doing sword practices? He looked hot as fuck. It had made you glare daggers at him and you’d thrown the blaster his way.
“Why don’t you try it then? See if you’re so much better, Master Kenobi,” you challenged.
His smile only widened as he studied your approaching, crossing his arms over his chest.
“I’d rather not, darling,” he said. “You know I have no luck with those things.” You picked up the blaster and pressed it against his chest, leaning in closer to him.
“Oh, come on, Obi-Wan,” you purred. “Don’t tell me you’re afraid.”
His mind went blank at your words. You were so close to him now, he would only need to lean down a bit and your lips would be touching. Oh, how he wished to feel your lips on his. He shook the thought away and smiled at you.
“Yes, I am very afraid that you might be better than me at something.”
You moved away and chuckled, taking up your shooting position again. “I’m better than you at a lot of things.”
Obi-Wan quirked an eyebrow. “Oh, yeah? Care to enlighten me?”
“I can think of a few things,” you had winked at him.
The insinuation was enough for Obi-Wan’s cheeks to redden, but he turned away and left the subject at that. That was how you two always were. A few insults thrown in here and there, and even though he cared not to admit it, there were some flirty elements as well.
And that was why he was confused as to your sudden cold exterior. He replayed the conversation in his mind, trying to figure out why it had gone south. Did he say something wrong? Had he done something wrong?
He was brought out of his thoughts by the voice of Anakin.
“Master?” he asked, and Obi-Wan only blinked at him.
“Yes, Anakin?”
He sighed and shook his head. “That was the third time I tried to get your attention. What is going on?” He glanced at you on the other side of his master, at you, and lowered his voice. “Is it your partner? Who are they, really?”
“It’s nothing, Anakin,” Obi-Wan replied. Anakin seemed to ponder his words for a moment, and Obi-Wan was completely content on letting the conversation go.
Anakin frowned. “Why haven’t I heard about them until now?”
Obi-Wan quirked an eyebrow. “There are many things you do not know about me, Anakin. I like to keep some things private.”
“I understand,” came his voice, a bit too smug for Obi-Wan’s liking.
Obi-Wan turned to him. “What exactly do you ‘understand’?”
Anakin inclined his head to where you were standing. “I just want to let you know that it’s okay, Master.”
“Anakin, I have no idea what you are talking of.”
He rolled his eyes, leaning as close to Obi-Wan as he could. “I’m talking about the two of you,” he said.
Obi-Wan’s cheeks immediately burned. “y/n y/l/n is an old friend,” Obi-Wan whisper-shouted. “We’ve known each other since we were kids.”
“Come on, Master, I heard the way you were talking to each other. Frankly, it’s quite obvious.”
Obi-Wan glared at Anakin for him to shut up. He glanced at you beside him, trying to keep the younger Jedi’s words from sinking into him, but to no avail. He was aware of the insinuations that often existed in your conversations, and the way your words were too often far from strictly platonic. He knew you were good looking in the standard way, as he often saw heads turn in your direction and flirty smiles sent your way, though he had never allowed himself to think of you that way. It was dangerous territory for a Jedi and he wasn’t sure he’d be able to resist if he allowed himself to give in.
But now, when the both of you stood at your death row, almost out of options, it put things in perspective. Maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if he—
A sudden cheer went up in the stadium, bringing his attention away from you. A voice sounded, in a strange language he couldn’t understand, and four doorways opened at the end of the arena. Out walked four creatures, each one horrific in its own way, and led by guards with spears. They were careful to not walk too close.
“I’ve got a bad feeling about this,” Anakin said beside him. Obi-Wan hated to admit he agreed, but forced himself to think rationally.
“Just relax. Concentrate.” He directed the words to his padawan, but they were for himself as much as for Anakin.
“What about Padme?” he asked, drawing Obi-Wan’s attention away from the oncoming monsters. He glanced behind Anakin, seeing that she was using her chain to climb the pillar.
With a smile he said, “She seems to be on top of things.”
Anakin glanced behind him, nodding, and forced calming breaths to release through his lungs. Obi-Wan looked your way, afraid he’d worry for you. Instead, you stood still, almost like a statue, looking directly in front of you. Your gaze was calculating, deadly calm, like a soldier’s calm, and your breathing was even. He didn’t know how, but you seemed to not worry even one bit at the oncoming creature.
He didn’t have time to think over it more when a creature with long claws closed in on him, throwing a leg against his chains, severing it. Obi-Wan threw himself to the side, narrowly avoiding the attack. Shouts and cheers went all around him, making him more dizzy than he already was. He tried to focus on the creature as he kept tumbling out the way, every time closer than the first. He went behind the pillar to take cover, but the monster felled it, causing it to tumble down in a load crash towards him.
Before he could understand what was happening, Obi-Wan was tumbling against the ground, rolling in a heap. The only thing was that your weight was on top of him, holding him down. He was too aware of every place you touched, shivering even through the chaos that was going on around you. You quickly glanced down at him before jumping to your feet, extending an arm for him to drag himself to his own feet. You kept ahold of his hand, tugging him along as you ran out of the creature’s path. Obi-Wan was afraid to think of what would’ve happened without you there.
He looked to the side, seeing one of the guards with a spear, taking it to throw at the monster behind you. For a second, he thought it’d worked. But then, it snapped the spear in half and continued its chase for the both of you. Thankfully, right then, Anakin and Padme appeared atop one of the other creatures, a massive horn at its front. He gestured for the both of you to get on, and without thinking, Obi-Wan grabbed your hand again and pulled you with. He helped you up in front of him. He hesitated, just a moment, before letting his arms snake around your midriff. You felt it, tensing against the feeling of him. You realised this was the wrong moment to be shy about contact, but you also realised the meaning of letting him fall against you so.
Obi-Wan let his head lean against your shoulder, ignoring the warning shouts put there by the Jedi’s so-called ways. He was tired of keeping distance from you only because of formalities. Seeing you in danger as he had done earlier, it scared him more than he dared admit. He needed to make the most out of the time you had left together.
“I—“ he began, but was interrupted by the tumbling of droids appearing, pointing their guns at the four of you.
You turned to look him in the eye, searching for any signs of reassurance there. You found none. Obi-Wan did not have a second plan, something to get them out of this major mess. He was finally out of ideas. Your lips tugged downwards at the sight of his hopeless gaze. You understood as well as he did how fucked you were.
And that’s when it happened; when dozens of lightsabers appeared in the crowding stands; they were lit in varying colours of blue, green, and, one particular, in purple. Their light reflected onto their bearers, revealing countless Jedis ready to fight. The rest of the crowd began to flee, previously cheering for the slaughter of the four of you, now cowards to the fight that would inevitable ensue.
A smile lit up your face, gazing onto the new turn of events. Maybe it wasn’t over for the two of you.
It quickly faded when more droids appeared, running over the arena to get a good shot on you. The Jedis were just as quick, jumping from the stadiums to meet the blasters with their sabers. Obi-Wan grabbed a nearby lightsaber and freed first himself, and then you, from the chains. You ran to pick up two blasters, lying nearby a fallen droid. You didn’t have time to think about the others before fire was upon you and it was all you could do to fire off shot after shot, fell enemy after enemy as your aim found its marks. Obi-Wan was soon beside you, twirling his lightsaber in beautiful circles and cutting down every droid in his vicinity. If you weren’t in mortal danger, you’d say he was enjoying himself with the way his lips formed in the faintest smile.
It was difficult keeping track of everyone and everything when all your surroundings were filled with was the light of blasters going for their mark and the glowing of lightsabers cutting into metal. Your ears were ringing, shouts and blasting muffled by the concentration of keeping your head connected to your body. All you could focus on was the next droid to appear in your path. One at a time, to keep you from losing hope and getting overwhelmed. But even you could admit that it was seeming bleak. The numbers on your side were dwindling and you felt a faint thudding in your left arm, which you had conveniently managed to ignore until now.
A sudden shriek called for your attention when the creature from before was charging for you again. You could feel your muscles locking up, the fear setting into them, while your mind was screaming for you to run. Instead, you stood there with a gaping mouth, awaiting the blow that would inevitable come upon you.
Before it did, a lightsaber cut into the creature’s path and sent its head rolling to the dirty ground, its body dropping in a lifeless heap. You turned, seeing Obi-Wan with his lightsaber raised, panting hard. His gaze turned to you with widened eyes. His legs moved before you did and managed to catch you before you fell to the ground, your legs folding beneath you. The paralysing fear was gone and in its place had an overwhelming sense of dread settled, causing your body to finally catch up with your mind. You almost wept against his robes, holding onto his shoulders to steady yourself. Obi-Wan’s arms circled you, his eyes searching you for any fatal injuries. When he couldn’t find any, he allowed his hand to smooth against your cheek, tilting your head to look at him.
“You okay?” he asked.
You nodded absentmindedly. First now you realised the closeness of him, and how vulnerable you both were in the middle of the battlefield. You turned at the same time, ready to cut down any droids, but it turned out unnecessary as the remaining Jedis had formed a protective circle around all of you, their lightsabers raised against the onslaught of droids. They stopped in their tracks as Count Dooku’s voice rang out, loud and clear, calling for a cease of fire. He was telling you how the fight was over; you were outnumbered; to lay down your weapons in arms; you were practically dead.
The Jedis looked around, uncertain on whether it was possible to win this fight. You met the droids with a steeled gaze; you’d rather die here, on the battlefield, than in some dungeon of the Sith’s. Obi-Wan looked to you and you saw the same determination reflected in his eyes. You wished to rather not die at all, but it was the lesser of two evils.
As if by reading your thoughts, suddenly battleships descended to the arena — stormtrooper ships. You let out a breath of relief; however ready you were to go down in battle someday you were glad today wouldn’t be that day.
With the help of the stormtroopers, your numbers were suddenly in the majority, felling the droids quickly and swiftly. The fight was far from over, though. Obi-Wan nudged your arm, nodding to one of the ships. You ran after him, with Anakin and Padme in the lead, onto the hovering ship and it lifted in the air. You looked around to see other stormtroopers on the ship, with only God knows what thoughts swimming behind those helmets of theirs.
“Dooku is making his escape,” said Obi-Wan, pointing ahead of him. You looked to see two slender ships  and a speeder-bike flying at full speed.
One of the troopers nodded, and the ship picked up in speed. Your feet stumbled at the change, unprepared for the sudden jolt in the metal beneath you. Obi-Wan’s arm instinctively reached out and snaked around your waist, pulling you close to him.
“Hold on,” he said.
You ignored the warmth of both his body so close to you and the sudden rush of it in your cheeks. Miles of sandbanks stretched beneath you, only fleeting with the quick speed you were travelling. Ahead, you noticed that there was only one spacecraft left in your pursuit. Hopefully, you’d be able to get this mission done with and go back to your not-so-peaceful abode; all of this were definitely more than you’d originally bargained for.
With another jolt of your ship, it threw all of you off-balance and a shriek sounded. You turned to see Padme fall out of the open door. Anakin reached for her but Obi-Wan was there within a second to snatch away his wrist, pulling him from the opening.
“Put the ship down!” Anakin cried.
“Anakin, don’t let your personal feelings get in the way!” Obi-Wan shouted back, effectively ignoring your gaze. He turned to the front and called, “Follow that speeder!”
You turned Obi-Wan’s words over in your mind. Of course he wouldn’t stray from the Jedi way, not even for you. Had you then only imagined his lingering gaze and touches that existed a moment too long? Had your mind created the delusions of Kenobi’s want to protect you during the fight, or had he only happened to be nearby to help you?
Whatever the matter, you felt it smartest to not be present for the coming fight. You called out to the two Jedis.
“I’ll go after her, you handle Dooku.”
Obi-Wan turned. “No, wait— y/n!”
Before he could take hold of you, you had dropped out the opening with bent knees meeting the sandbank, landing with a compact you were not ready for. You rolled, tucking your head into your chest and quickly jumped to your feet. You had jumped out of the ship a little later than Padme and had to walk back the distance to find her again.
She laid on the sand, outstretched, with her head resting to the side. You ran to her quickly, letting her head rest under your hand and shaking her slightly in a careful attempt to wake her up. Her eyelids slid open carefully, before blinking wide up at you. Her limbs hurried with panic in an attempt to stand up and she almost tripped herself.
“Hey, hey, calm down!” you said, disentangling yourself from her. “You’re okay, you’re safe.”
She stopped struggling but stayed wide-eyed as she let herself take a few calming breaths. Eventually she had found her voice enough to ask, “Where’s Anakin?”
“Still pursuing Dooku. C’mon, we gotta get back to camp.”
Padme’s head shook before you finished your sentence, looking around. “No, no, we gotta follow them. We gotta help.”
You swallowed, nodding absentmindedly. You wanted to help Obi-Wan but you were afraid how he would react to seeing you after the fighting was done. Would he turn you away, and ultimately let the Jedi’s ways steer his life? Or would he allow you to get close to him, invite you into his life as something more than just a friend?
You pondered these questions as you managed to find a troop of stormtroopers and commandered a spacecraft to follow the pursuit of Count Dooku. Soon enough, a castle of some sort, made of a reddened stone with high spires, reached towards the muddied sky. Your craft landed and as a ship departed, speeding faster than you could react, towards outer space.
If that were Count Dooku escaping then that meant Anakin and Obi-Wan hadn’t managed to stop him. And that meant…
Your legs started to move faster than your mind could catch up, praying that what you feared wouldn’t be true. Your feet echoed against the ground as you ran into the cave, Padme following right behind you. When you entered the hollow room your eyes immediately landed on Obi-Wan’s form.
He was alive—barely standing and taking shallow breaths—but alive nonetheless.
His hand was grasped around his knee, barely being able to keep himself up. It looked as if it took everything in him not to slump to the floor. You hastened your steps in his direction, ready to just about sling yourself against him. You catched yourself in a moment, remembering the Jedi’s modest ways.
His eyes met yours as he let his hand let go of the lightsaber. His eyes softened, almost unintelligibly, and his lips quirked into a tired smile. Obi-Wan took the barest step toward you, his leg folding beneath him. You were there in an instant, letting your weight support his as much as his was supporting you. Your arms snaked around his waist, letting your head fall in the crook of his shoulder. His head laid on yours, his hair tickling your skin. As tired, and muddy, and miserable you were you couldn’t keep from the warmth spreading in the pit of your stomach.
Obi-Wan didn’t seem to mind any of the other Jedi’s in the room as he let his embrace pull you even closer to him. He pulled back the barest inch to whisper against your ear, “Don’t you ever dare scare me like that again.”
“What, when I dropped out of the spacecraft, you mean?”
You felt him shake his head against you. “Just today in general.”
“Afraid to lose me, Jedi?”
You tried not to chuckle, but it was difficult when you felt the dangers of the day receding from your mind and all that was left was an immense relief that elated your entire body. Obi-Wan pulled away entirely, letting his hands grip your shoulders for support. Your hands had a hold of his waist.
“Losing you would affect me more than you could ever imagine.”
You grinned as you tugged him into a hug again, pressing him even more intimately against you. There was no longer any doubt as to what Obi-Wan meant to you, and as to what you meant to him. He didn’t care what the council or the Jedis thought; he’d have you as yours. And you smiled at the thought.

Sith!Obi-Wan x Reader // Headcanons
Tumblr media
Pronouns: gender neutral
/Sith!Obi-Wan x Reader/
A/N: Ok, so these are a few quick headcanons I have for Sith!Obi-Wan, because I'm obsessed and I have a thing for bad guys lol. Anyway, my asks are open if you got any suggestions! Should I write more? Let me know xoxo
Warnings: manipulation, ooc Obi-Wan (he's evilll). Song Rec: Lana Del Rey - Cherry
Obi-Wan probably knew you from his time at the temple, far before he became a Sith
He would become fascinated by you, watching you train from afar. He got to know all your routines, meticulously observing your day-to-day life.
His obsession soon became part of the reason he turned, couldn’t bare being apart from you. The ways of the Jedi not being enough to appease his needs.
Obi-Wan soon joined Anakin on the Dark Side and made it his mission to have you for himself.
He would seduce you slowly, using your weaknesses against you. Insecure? He would praise you and make sure you felt like the most important thing to him (because you were). Lonely? He would spend quality time with you, becoming your shadow wherever you went. Touch-starved? He would touch you constantly, caressing your face, smoothing your arms, and drawing circles on your skin, making you shiver every time.
Obi-Wan would make you feel seen and understood, manipulated you so the only option you had was to be his. And because he was so persuasive, it worked.
Now that you were his padawan, he could have you all for himself.
Obi-Wan would act stern outside his quarters, but when you were alone he would melt. Pampering you and making sure you felt like the most loved person in the galaxy.
And oh he would kiss you. Now that nothing could tear you apart, he would pull you into a kiss whenever he had an opportunity. His kisses were deep and possessive, reminding you who you belonged to.
But he was protective, extremely so. Growing excessively angry whenever anyone tried to get close to you, and turning aggressive if they managed to touch you.
(And I mean that! On bad days, he would force choke anyone who dared to even look at you.)
Obi-Wan would get super jealous too but never get angry directly at you. He was too afraid to lose you, so he would take the anger out on others.
Day by day he would grow even more possessive, controlling the places you were allowed to go (always with him by your side) and especially the people you were allowed to talk to (not many at all).
Obi-Wan had you all to himself and he wouldn’t let that slip, he couldn’t take any chances. You were his, only his.
He made sure you knew how much he loved you, and that he was the only one capable of loving you the way you deserved (his way). All he did was for you and to protect you. He could give you everything you wanted, and all he asked in return was your love.
Part of you was afraid of him, but the other loved him so much it hurt. You were stuck with Obi-Wan but there was no other place you'd rather be.

Hi, i hope doing good. Can i have a Romantic Star Wars matchup please. I'm genderfluid, bisexual with male preference. A Libra, Infp, 5w4 if you interested. I have long black wavy hair. I have thick black eyebrows, brown eyes. I always have rosy cheeks. My body is curvy with very big chest and little tummy. Also i'm 172 cm. I always have poker face. Those who know me for the first time describe me as cold, quiet, scary and distant. I'm only close to two or three people. They describe me as cold, soft inside, calm, resourceful and knowledgeable. They say I make clever jokes and I'm the mom-friend. And i hate phsyical touch. My love language is words of affirmation. And I'm a switch in a relationship. If I talk about myself, I've always been on my own. I have family problems, I was never close with my father. Even though we are side by side with my mother, we are distant. I'm just my own mom and dad. That's why I've always focused on academic achievement for salvation. And I think I'm very good at it. My hobbies are drawing, sewing, writing and researching, especially about mythology, cultures, history, fashion. I always wear my headphones and listen to music. I like silence, soft colors, being alone, flowers (especially honeysuckle), spring and breeze. I don't like crowds, noise, children, loud talkers and shiny things. I always wear colorful clothes with floral prints. I also wear interesting earrings and different printed socks. And finally, I don't really have an ideal type. I love every person. I like the fact that there are different people.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm doing well, rinkutakime! Thank you for your request, and congrats on being my first matchup for this account. It was a tough battle deciding who to pair you up with considering how vast the world is, but I think Obi-Wan suits you quite well.
Hope you like it, bare with me, and may the force be with you.
Tumblr media
Whether you're a force user or not, it's safe to say you and Obi-Wan would be quite the infamous couple. (Granted, if he's still a part of the order when you get together your relationship status might not be public, but your reputation in helping him execute strategy certainly would be.)
He's a fairly balanced individual, and while his dedication to the order might not always be the most pleasant, causing him to likely butt heads with you from time to time? There isn't going to be any issue that goes unresolved with him as your partner.
One of the things he admires most about you would be your knack for research and overall knowledge. It comes in handy in the least likely circumstances, and it's safe to say he'd be fairly interested in whatever you had to say even if it weren't related to work.
Believe it or not, knowledge of history, culture, and mythology is quite handy in their line of work, especially with how many planets they venture to on official business. If you were to apply this knowledge to learning languages or battle tactics? You'd become practically invaluable. He's perfectly aware of this.
Besides- someone who's capable of competing with him verbally? Oh, he's treasuring every conversation, debate, and meeting with you he can possibly get in.
Another thing he'd certainly love about you is your wit. Anyone who's watched the Clone Wars knows that this man is the absolute king of one-liners, and having someone capable of making clever jokes and retorts- even if he is the butt of them- would make him the happiest Jedi around.
He's most definitely fantasized about what life with you outside of the war would be like. Attachment is forbidden in the order, so the fact that he's committed to going as far with you as he has means he's ready to go the whole nine yards if he has to. If he has to leave, he has to leave. This is something he's come to terms with.
Another pro of being with Obi-Wan is that he isn't afraid to compliment you. I feel like words of affirmation is something he'd lean into regardless of whether or not it's your love language, but the second he becomes aware of how much you appreciate it he's doubling down when he can.
Not engaging in physical touch isn't much of a problem for him either. On the off-chance that you were okay with contact at any point in time, he'd be delighted, but he isn't exactly needy in that department. He'll treasure what he can get all the more- after all, it is from you. The rarer it is, the more valuable.
I feel like he's certainly poked at that colder exterior of yours a few times, teasingly. He knows you're not all fire and brimstone (your love for bright colors and floral patterns, for one, help to make that more obvious), but the way people tend to perceive you as spooky has amused him on more than one occasion.
You've startled more than one shiny on several occasions.
It's gotten to the point where bets may or may not have been made with Cody and his men regarding the very issue. Will they scare the new recruits this time? Or will the newbies pass this rite of courage?
I only jest, though this is certainly something about you that Kenobi doesn't dislike.
He's a fairly busy man, so you'll get plenty of free time where he's involved.
He looks forward to coming back and seeing you if you don't end up on missions with him, but perfectly understands if you're not recharged enough to hang out.
Furthermore, if you happen to run out of your social battery while you're out with him, he's going to be looking for an opportunity to get you out of there as soon as possible.
An odd thing to note, but your habit of wearing patterned socks and earrings entertains him.
He looks forward to the next time he sees you because he's curious as to which pair you'll end up wearing next.
Has snagged you a pair of earrings or socks at least once while he was out because they reminded him of you and he thought you'd enjoy them. It's one of his ways of showing you he was thinking about you while he was out.
He likely leaves you notes to update you on things going on, like where he was headed or what he'd done that day. This is both a for when you're not in the mood to hang with people thing and a you were asleep and he wanted to keep you posted thing.
Quite frankly, I don't think he minds you being a switch either. He's totally cool with it.
He's probably let you sew up his uniform a few times when it gets damaged, assuming you showed interest in doing so.
Overall, it's a pretty solid, healthy relationship built on communicated boundaries and mutual respect. He's in it for whatever the force may bring, so treat him well and he'll give you the world. Or perhaps the universe, if you're into that.

Dear me, this was rather fun to write. With all the groundwork and deliberation that went into deciding just who would be selected for the official matchup (there were more than five candidates at one point, dear lord) it's really satisfying seeing it all come together in a coherent manner. I certainly hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. May the force be with you, and your day be as pleasant as the ocean's abyss is deep.
For those of you who are new here, I take requests. You can find the rules here.

Attachment of a Child [part 1]
Pairings: Obi-Wan Kenobi x child!reader (includes Kit Fisto)
Imagine: one of the children in the Jedi temple seems to have formed an attachment to Obi-Wan and follows him around all over the temple whenever he’s there
Warnings: fluff, Obi-Wan hugs, Obi-Wan taking care of a child (that needs a warning for real), Obi accidentally adopted you, otherwise none, I think, it’s just fluff, Not proofread
A/N I couldn’t stop myself from writing this, it just came to me randomly and I had to write it, I don’t even know if it’s good or not I just had to write it bc just imagine Obi-Wan being followed by a child who copies his movements, that’s so adorable 🥰 <3
If you have any ideas for Obi-Wan x padawan!reader (platonic obviously) please feel free to send them to me, I love writing Obi-Wan x padawan
Tumblr media
The first time Obi-Wan had stepped into the room filled with younglings after “defeating” Darth Maul, he wasn’t too surprised when he saw all of the children’s eyes light up. Big eyes stared at him with amazement and wonder, as well as curiosity and excitement.
The now Jedi master had gained some kind of fame with the younglings ever since he became a master and defeated a Sith Lord. Not to say that the children didn’t love him before (they sure did), but now they all seemed to look up to him as some sort of war hero. Look at him for wisdom more so than the other masters, Yoda being the exception.
One youngling in particular had taken a shine to the newly made master. You. Obi-Wan had nothing against you, he quite liked taking care of you from time to time, it was a distraction from all the chaos in the galaxy at the moment. He found it rather calming and he would never say no to teaching anyone something new, especially younglings who had the curiosity that could go on for forever. You were no different from those younglings except you didn’t ask your questions (too shy to do it) but rather listened intently to any information Obi-Wan would tell the class. It was one of the reasons why you loved classes with Master Kenobi. He was calm and could talk for hours and had most of the answers to all of your classmates questions (therefore your questions were answered as well, for the most part).
Nights were often spent with the younglings as he told them one of his many stories from another planet. He lulled them to sleep with his calm voice as he talked about facts he picked up from his reading about the planet, or missions he had with Anakin or his former master. Obi-Wan hadn’t stopped you when you crawled up onto his lap, nor did he stop any other of the younglings as they cuddled into the warmth he radiated to their sleepy forms.
More than one time you had been the child to sit on his lap, for some reason the Master nearly always picked you up and placed you on his lap, or he just let you plant yourself on his lap without a single complaint. He knew he made your anxieties calm down as he let you cuddle into his side. If he could help the younglings in any way, he would to the best of his abilities. He was once one himself after all and knew how the life of a youngling could be. The anxiety that could be brought to any of them at any moment if they failed, the strict rules or the doubt they felt, the rumors of danger. Especially with what everyone knew was an upcoming war and the betrayal of Dooku and the death of Darth Maul. Along with those rumors and facts they were supposed to study and become a future Jedi while not forming attachments and nor were they allowed to act on their emotions, especially the fear and anger that they felt. So yes, Obi-Wan would gladly let you sit on his lap if it helped you calm down while he told you and the other children a story before they were supposed to sleep.
It’s safe to say that it wasn’t uncommon for any one in the temple to see any of the younglings run up to Obi-Wan for help, especially if something troubled them. Nor was it uncommon to see you walking beside the master. Which was what happened today.
Obi-Wan had just walked past the room in which you and your classmates had just finished up your first lesson of the day. Some of the younglings had already rushed out of the room before Master Yoda could even finish his sentence, you were one among them. You had felt Obi-Wan’s force signature and you saw him through the slightly opened door walk past the room and you had sprinted out of the room not willing to lose him in the many halls of the temple. Luckily for you the temple was relatively empty at this time in the morning so it didn’t take you too long to find the brown cloak and his auburn hair among those walking the corridors.
The Jedi Master heard small feet sprint towards him but he made no indication of turning around towards the person or to wait for the child to catch up, he already knew it was you, how could he not, he was way too familiar with your force signature. He knew where you were at any time of the day, your force signature rather strong for a child.
If he had turned around he would have seen that you had mimicked his actions. You put your hand behind your back like he had done, you tried to walk in his pace as well as in the same way he walked. This proved quite hard even if the master had slowed down a tad bit for you as he felt you walking beside him, but the long strides were still too fast for a child to catch up entirely to. Any Jedi master that walked past the two of you thought they saw a mini kenobi as you mimicked his every action, even when he rubbed against his beard (even though you didn’t have beard yourself you still did it)
“Hello Master Kenobi” In watching Obi-Wan and trying to mimic him you had completely forgotten to look at where you were going and so you didn’t notice when Obi-Wan stopped in front of Kit Fisto.
“Hello Master Fisto” Kenobi answered politely, giving a smile back towards Master Fisto who gave his signature charming smile. By the time Obi-Wan said that you had looked up and the Nautolan turned towards you as he noticed you standing next to the jedi master you were still mimicking. He studied you for a second, a puzzled look grazed his future before his smile was back.
“And hello to you too youngling, I see you’ve taken a shine to Master Kenobi” A blush spread itself over your cheeks as you got called out by the Jedi in front of you.
The words stumbled out of you as you quietly said “Hello Master Fisto”.
After the words left you, you hid away behind Kenobi's robes not wanting anyone to see your embarrassed state. To this Obi-Wan, like a natural instinct, put his left arm to shield you. Kit Fisto’s reaction to this was what every jedi had told you and Obi-Wan a lot of times before.
“Be careful with the young one Obi-Wan, they might become a bit too attached to you otherwise”
The master like everyone else knew you were already attached towards the master that you hid behind. He could have stopped it all, right there and then, so could Obi-Wan and the rest of the order, but somehow they allowed it, they let it slide by them, if they didn’t see anything then it wasn’t their problem, and if they saw they opted to ignore it. You were like a bright shining cyber crystal in the temple as you cutely followed the auburn haired master around. And it seemed like everyone needed something bright at the moment, with the darker times that were approaching. No, Kit Fisto wouldn’t be the one to stop your attachment towards the newest member of the council, but what he could do was give a warning. He did not want an innocent child or Obi-Wan to fall, not that either of you would, but he could still give the occasional reminders, like Master Windu seemed to give away way too many times.
You were attached, and nothing would stop that. Obi-Wan noticed when he looked down at you, that you were still mimicking his movements. He gave you a fond smile as he studied your stance. You stood in the same posture as him and frankly you looked like a mini him, not that he complained about it, Obi-Wan found it quite amusing how you seemed to want to act like him any chance you got. Not only was it amusing to him but he found it adorable. But so was the thought of every other person in the Jedi temple who had seen you walk after the Jedi master any chance you got since you got old enough to walk.

It was one of those days at the Jedi Temple where nothing in particular was going on. Except for the fact that you were getting a new Master to complete your Padawan Training. It would have been a big deal to you if it weren’t for the fact your previous Master had recently been killed in front of you only a few days prior. So, you sat anxiously in the council room, awaiting Master Yoda’s decision on who would be your new Master.
The old Jedi was walking around in a circle in the decently-sized council room, stroking his chin and lost in thought. You watched him as he hobbled about, thinking about who he could possibly pick to be your next mentor. It wasn’t before long he stopped in his tracks and hummed to himself, which could only mean one thing.
“Perfect choice for you, I have thought of.” Yoda said cheerfully. You stood up abruptly from the seat you sat on prior. Yoda slowly walked over to you and grabbed both of your hands. “He too, lost a Padawan. Help each other recover, I know you can.” Your eyes widen at his words. A Jedi Master has lost a Padawan? Isn’t a Master supposed to protect their Padawan’s at all cost? Which Jedi Master could be so reckless? “Sense your conflict, I do. About your new Masters old Padawan, yes?” You nodded and looked away from the older Jedi. Yoda chuckled and let go of your hands before heading to the door. “Master Skywalker didn’t lose a Padawan to the Force, young one. His Padawan left the order, she did.” You silently gasped. Master Skywalker? As in, Anakin Skywalker? The famous Chosen One? Yoda once again chuckled and shook his head.
“Didn’t expect Skywalker to be your new mentor, no?”
“N-no, Master. I didn’t.” you stumbled on your words. Yoda reached the door and opened it, revealing the Jedi himself, and his own previous mentor.
“Master Kenobi and young Skywalker, glad to see you, I am.” Yoda announced. You examined the two jedi and gulped when your eyes met Anakin’s. Not only was he taller than you expected, but way more handsome than any holograms you’ve seen of him in interviews. You could feel your jaw slightly dropping open, but immediately clenched it when you noticed Anakin was examining you too.
“Master Yoda, we came here to announce the-”
“Master Kenobi, hear about the War later, I will. Right now, we will discuss young Skywalker’s new Padawan.” Yoda interrupted Obi-Wan mid sentence. You notice that both Jedi’s mouths dropped, but not as far as Anakin’s. His jaw practically fell onto the floor; and his eyes widened so much, you were positive they would pop out of his skull.
“New Padawan? But Master Yoda, I didn’t request-” Anakin began to argue but Yoda didn’t have any of it and hit his leg with his cane, to which Anakin winced at.
“Any complaints about this arrangement, not have, I will. You will train young L/N and ensure her success as a Jedi Knight. Then after her training, become a Jedi Master, you will.”
Anakin seemed to calm down a bit when he heard about his stepping up in ranks to become a Master Jedi. He once again looked at you but with an unreadable gaze. You attempted a small smile to perhaps change his cold demeanour, but he only scowled at you before looking away and re-focusing his attention at Yoda.
You shrugged at his attitude and assumed it had to do with his mission he just got back from. But boy, were you wrong.
+++
“Padawan, why are you late?”
You stood up straight from your slouching position and locked eyes with your new Master, Anakin Skywalker. You looked over to the wall at the entrance of the massive training room  where a clock was displayed.
“Master, I am on time. Unless you count those-”
“You’re two minutes late, two minutes of valuable time that I could be training you to be better. Remember my rules, Padawan?” Your master interrupted to continue his rant, to which you rolled your eyes before replying.
“Every one minute late, equals-”
“-ten laps around the training room. So, at the end of our usual training, I expect you to stay afterwards and do your twenty laps. Then you are free to do whatever you want.”
You huffed. When you found out your new Master would be Anakin Skywalker, you thought your life was going to change. You were correct on that; but it wasn’t how you expected. Anakin was incredibly harsh on you and was always going all out on your training. You usually found yourself too exhausted to do anything in your free time, as you normally went to your chambers to have a nap.
The missions you went on were even worse!
Since Anakin Skywalker was a general for one of the biggest Clone Squads, you constantly found yourself on missions that were much more dangerous than the ones you and your previous master went on. People were constantly dying all around you and some deaths could've been easily prevented.
On top of that, the trauma from your previous master haunted you like a lost soul. Your nightmares about them got so bad that you often didn’t sleep at night in fear of having those dreams. An endless cycle of your master getting stabbed by Ventress over and over and over. And as previously mentioned, Anakin did nothing but make you dread things more.
“Padawan, you sure are in Lala Land today, aren’t you?” your thoughts were interrupted when you suddenly tripped and fell over, and met face to face with your Masters chest, to which he stumbled back from and nearly fell over too.
“Oh my! I am so sorry, Master. I didn’t-” you tried to apologise but he waved his hand in dismissal.
“Save it Padawan, I don’t need to hear your excuses. Just, please, try and focus or you’re wasting both of our time.” You nodded your head and began to practise sparring with your Master once more. But it wasn’t before long you once again were knocked from your feet and you fell flat on your back with two lightsabers pointed at your chest.
“What is it, Padawan? You’re usually not this bad.” Anakin said smugly with an evil smirk gracing his features. Oh how badly you wanted to punch the smirk off of it.
“Wow Master, you could at least ask me if everything is alright. Yet again, you never did care for me enough did you?” You said through gritted teeth. Anakin raised his brow at you before deactivating your sabre and handing it to you.
“I care for you, I just don’t frolic around and make you feel special like your previous Master. This is the real world; it’s not nice. So you need to grow up and get used to it.”
You just about exploded with tears right there and then. How dare he talk about your old Master like that? The one person who made sure you were standing here, alive and well today. You stood up abruptly from the ground and stormed out of the room, ignoring Anakin’s orders to return to him immediately.
Once you were a bit ways from the training room, that’s when you let your thoughts cloud your mind. How could such a beautiful man act like such an arse? You will admit, you had a massive crush on your Master. He was tall, handsome, and not to mention, fearless. He was very intimidating, which you loved.
When he first became your mentor, you fantasised about him nearly every night, which often led you to blushing madly when you were around him the next day. But you knew he would never like you the way you liked him. From how he presented himself as a Jedi, you knew he would never break the code for someone like you.
You sighed in frustration to where your thoughts were spiralling your mind into. You clenched your jaw tightly and began to pick up the pace to where your chambers laid.
Why do you like Anakin anyway? All he does all day is insult your technique, and how you could try better. You do try! You began to mumble angrily at yourself, and before long, you found yourself projecting each of your thoughts with no shame at all.
“How could he? That stupid. . .goodie-two-shoed Jedi–”
“Who are you cursing about?” a voice interrupted your small tantrum and you turned around quickly on your heels and noticed it was Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin’s previous Master. Oh, what joy.
“Oh, I’m sorry, Master Kenobi. . .I-I was just–”
“Is Anakin being difficult on you, Padawan?” He asked as he stepped closer to you so you could hear each other better.
You sighed heavily before nodding your head quickly.
“Y-yes, Master. But I think he’s sorta right on some things.” You sniffed and crossed your arms to hug yourself.
“Anakin says things he doesn’t mean sometimes. And, you also need to consider he also just lost one of his closest friends, Ahsoka Tano. He feels like he failed as a mentor. I’m not trying to say what he said was right; maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. But you need to try and be more–how do I put this. . .” He trailed off, stroking his beard as he thought of the correct word. You watched him for a moment before understanding what he was trying to get at.
“I think I understand what you are trying to say. Master Yoda was right, I think we could help each other get over the pain that was left from our past ‘partners.’ But, Master Kenobi, I am not sure how I can start being better for his standards. He thinks I’m weak and not capable of being a Jedi.”
Obi-Wan raises a brow at this and also crosses his arms.
“What makes you think that?”
You inhaled deeply before looking down at the floor.
“Well, he’s always. . .”
“I don’t think you’re incapable of being a Jedi.” A familiar voice interrupts your train of thought, to which you whip your head around and see the man himself that was causing all the problems.
“Hello, Anakin. I think you better make up with your Padawan. And y/n, I think you have some things to tell him too.” Obi-Wan said before nodding his head at the both of you and walking off down the hallways to wherever he was heading originally.
Anakin watched him for a moment before turning his attention back at you.
“Hello, y/n.”
You froze in place at his simple greeting. He has never called you by your real name before. It was either ‘padawan’ or no name at all.
“You called me by my name.” you said quietly, the corners of your mouth threatening to smile.
Anakin raised his brow. “And? Last I checked, it’s normal for someone to have a name. In fact, it would be abnormal to not have one.”
Your face dropped into a neutral one again. Of course he went back to square one where he acts like a complete arsehole for no reason at all.
“What’s the long face for? I didn’t say anything rude to you.”
You sighed, he was right. You were just overreacting over small things. Maybe you did need to grow up and start acting more mature.
“Nothing, just–ignore me. I am going to head to my chambers now, good-bye Anakin.” You began to walk past him but a hand reached out and grabbed you before you could go any further.
“I need to tell you something, but in a more private place. C’mon.” And with a harsh tug, he began to pull you towards wherever he wanted to go to ‘talk’.
“Hey, you can’t–”
You decided it was no use arguing, as his grip only tightened on you arm and you were now being dragged instead of guided. You noticed he was leading you to where all the Jedi Knights rooms laid. You eventually stopped at a door and you caught your breath.
“Um, where are we?” you asked your Master, to which you gained no reply. The door to the room opened and you got pulled into it.
“Hey, you can’t just drag people like that, I think you dislocated my-”
“Shut up!”
His voice started you and you flinched at it. You backed up towards the door and pressed yourself against it. Anakin watched you and followed your slow movement. You soon found yourself pressed against the door and Anakin’s broad chest. You inhaled quickly and tried to get past him.
“I have some things I need to tell you, y/n.” He whispered in your ear. Your breath hitched at the close distance between you and your Master. Isn’t this a bit inappropriate?
“Master Skywalker, please move back a bit. I can’t breathe.” you said, attempting to push him away. But to no avail, he only moved closer to you. You could feel his breath on your neck and you shivered. It was a similar scenario to all your dreams, only you were shoving Anakin against a wall. You felt heat begin to rise to your cheeks.
“Call me Anakin when it’s just you and me.” he said, and your ears perked at this new side of him. Your strict Master was asking you to call him by his first name? That’s a new one.
“What?”
“Anakin.” he simply replied. You rolled your eyes and exhaled heavily.
“No, I know what you said. But, why? It’s part of being a Padawan–” you were interrupted when he shoved you even further against the door and felt his lips brush against yours. At this point, you knew you were a blushing mess; all the butterflies in your stomach were now roaming freely, much to your dismay.
But nothing could compare to the shock you felt when Anakin’s lips met yours. The kiss was soft and passionate, and his lips moulded against yours perfectly; like you were always meant to be together. Then reality came crashing in: your Master was kissing you. All the warnings of the Jedi Council and the Codes filled your mind, to which you disconnected your lips from Anakin. You attempted to once again push him away, but you failed miserably. This man was like a mountain; unmovable.
“A-Anakin, we can’t. It goes against the Code of the Jedi.” Anakin ignored your pleas and began to kiss your cheek and jawline. You felt his hands move to your waist and goosebumps formed on your skin. What was he doing to you?
“Y/n, I don’t care what the Jedi Code says, or the council. It’s all nonsense.” At this point, his kisses were trailing from your jaw to your neck to which you inhaled sharply at the contact.
“A-Anakin. . .this isn’t right,” you tried to hold back a moan but failed when he began to softly suck and lick at the most sensitive part of your neck.
“Shh, don’t talk so much, y/n.”
His hands moved up to your back and he nestled his head into the crook of your neck and inhaled your scent. You moaned quietly when he began to bite at your collarbone.
“Anakin, please kiss me,” You finally gave in, to which he obliged. You felt his lips reconnect with yours once again and you sighed into it. Your hands soon found its way to his long hair and you buried it into his curls, tugging on it slightly. You heard him moan into the kiss and you smirked at it.
“Do you like that, Anakin?” You asked with a playful tone. Anakin nodded his head and continued to kiss you with more passion than before. You then decided to take matters into your own hands and turned him around a full 180 degrees. Now you were the one pinning him against the door.
“W-What are you doing, y/n?” Anakin stuttered, clearly flustered at how fast you took control.
“You have some explaining to do, Anakin.” You said with a harsh tone of voice. Anakin swallowed hard and looked down at the tiled floor of his chambers.
“I-I am in love with you, I think.” he said, barely above a whisper.
“Skywalker, that’s not an apology for how you treated me since I became your Padawan. Do you need me to tell you how to apologise?” You moved your hand into his hair and yanked it, to which Anakin cried out in pain. But you could tell he was enjoying it by the way his breathing had picked up.
“C’mon, Master, I’m waiting for a proper apology.”
“S-sorry, my dear Padawan for being an arse to you. Will you please forgive me and kiss me some more?”
You stared at his sapphire eyes and noticed how needy he looked. It was almost pathetic how your Master, the ‘Hero with no Fear’, was being an absolute child. You sighed heavily and an evil smirk crossed your face.
“No, I don’t think I will kiss you. A wise Jedi once told me the world was cruel and things don’t always go your way. But, I will forgive you, Master.”
Proud at how you used his own words against him, you unlocked the door to his room, and ran out; heading towards where your own chambers awaited.
A/N
Y/N is a freaking badass 😎 Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the story! And, I am taking requests! So feel free to ask for a story :)

The Cyborg's Apprentice Part 2
Summary: Reader finds a way out of serving the Sith. Or so they think.
Warnings: Reader goes on a mental health/self discovery journey, neck wounds, and trackers
Notes: Part 1 and part 1.5 here
Gn!reader, teen!reader, Sith!reader
Word Count: 4,031
Light rain pattered against the window, occasionally broken by a violent crack of lightning. They didn’t go together. The rain was barely more than a drizzle, one that children could dance in, but the lightning was fierce enough to make some adults cower in fear.
Ahsokah was neither an adult, nor a child. So instead of dancing or cowering, she studied. She’d found some interesting writings on meditation, and was trying her best to follow the steps. The soft rain helped her get into the zone, and the lighting was a good test of concentration.
One thing kept nagging at her. It had been quite a few days since she’d heard from you. Maybe you’d been found out, and Grievous had ordered that your conversations stop. There was another possibility, one she dreaded even more than the last. What if you had sunk even deeper into the dark side, and decided to cut off communication all on your own? You could be devotedly fighting against the Republic on some far-flung planet.
A peal of thunder rumbled outside, and she pulled herself back to her meditations. If you were countless parsecs away, there was nothing she could do.
Little did she know, the two of you were mere miles apart, and you were growing ever closer. Your hood stayed up over your head, concealing your face. With help from the Force, you managed to circumnavigate the security measures, and began ascending the side of the Temple.
When you reached the right window, you could see Ahsoka sitting there cross-legged on the floor, eyes closed, with a scroll unrolled in front of her. The lights were on, just enough to read by. It was shockingly sparse. Only a bed, low to the ground, and a small table.
Hesitating, you raised your fist to knock on the window. What if this was a mistake? You coming here could endanger Ahsoka, get her in trouble with the Jedi Council, kicked out, even.
But… You needed her right now. There was nowhere else to go, no one else who could understand. So, you lightly tapped your knuckles against the transparisteel.
Her head darted towards the unexpected sound at the window, and when she saw you, her face was filled with confusion. She said something you couldn’t hear, and when you tried to tell her as much, she motioned for you to wait.
Turning, she picked up one of her lightsabers, and drove it into the window. Within a moment, a circular chunk was missing.
“Y/n?” She said, just barely loud enough to be heard.
“Hey 'Soka.” You said, then promptly tumbled through the hole. She grabbed you a moment before you hit the floor, and helped you sit against the wall.
“What are you doing here?” She asked. “It’s not safe for you!”
“I… I didn’t know where else to go.” At that moment, Ahsoka noticed that blood was trickling down your neck.
“Maker, Y/n.” She said, pushing your cloak out of the way so she could see the cut. “How did this happen? Who did this?”
“I did.” You said. “I had to. Grievous had a tracker implanted in my neck.”
Once she had stopped the bleeding from your neck, Ahsoka’s eyes darted over the rest of you. Your clothes were dirty and wrinkled, like they hadn’t been washed in a few days. You had a few minor scrapes and bruises, but you were tired. Every breath took effort, and your eyes were filled with fear.
“Y/n,” Ahsoka started, “How are you going to get back to Grievous’s ship?”
“I’m not going back.” You said. “I can’t go back.”
“Well, I can’t hide you here.”
“Tano, I would never ask you to.”
“What do you suggest I do?” She asked.
“Turn me in.” You said, and Ahoska gave you an astonished look. “It’s the only way you don’t get in trouble with the Council, and I stay safe from the Sith.”
A moment passed, one in which the two of you just sat, inches apart, taking in the gravity of the situation.
“Can we just have a few more moments?” She finally asked.
“Of course, ‘Soka.”
When Ahsoka called for the guards, they clapped specially-crafted Mandalorian manacles onto your wrists, and brought you to the medic, who patched up the back of your neck. They locked you in a small cell until the Council could be assembled. Waiting there was the worst part. It gave you plenty of time to sit and reflect.
Ever since your encounter with Ahsoka at the ruined temple, the two of you would avoid each other on the battlefield. One night, you received an encrypted message. It was just one short question.
Why did you let me go?
And you replied with the simple, honest, answer.
I don’t know.
From that point on, you become each other's confidants. Strategic information was never shared, since the consequences of espionage were much worse than simply fraternizing with the enemy, but more personal matters– doubts, dreams, dreads– were all fair game. Because of this, Ahsoka knew things about you that you wouldn’t dare tell anyone else and vice versa.
She first suggested you join the Jedi a few months after you started talking. Deep down, you knew what the Sith were doing wasn’t right, but years of conditioning and propaganda with just enough truth sprinkled in was hard to break away from. So you declined her offer.
Again, when you were stranded on a planet with her, she brought up the idea. She even suggested you could fake your death and go back to the Temple with her. It was tempting, and she had convinced you that the Sith were doing more harm than good. Ultimately, the idea didn’t pan out.
You were pulled out of your reminiscing when the guards came to escort you to the Council Chamber. The twelve Jedi Masters were seated in a circle, and you were guided to the middle.
“Y/n y/l/n.” Began a man with dark skin and a bald head. “We know you are a Separatist, and the apprentice of General Grievous. You have fought against the Republic and the Jedi Order for years, taking down waves of our troops and foiling countless missions. Today you are brought before the Council in a strange turn of events including but not limited to breaking into the Jedi Temple.”
“Your side,” Said a short shriveled green man, “You now must tell us.”
“I was a Separatist,” You said, “But I have turned against Grievous and the entirety of the dark side of the force. I wish to study at the Jedi Temple, but I understand you have your reservations, and that it is a real possibility that I will spend the rest of my days in a cell.
“For now, the CIS are unaware that I have defected, but when they do figure it out, they will hunt me down. I have only one request: Wherever you lock me up, make sure it has the best of security.”
“We will see.” The bald man said. “We have further questions. Why did you go to Ahsoka Tano?”
“She and I met before, during multiple battles.” You replied simply, casting a glance towards the door, where Ahsoka was standing with her master Anakin. “And I felt that our similarity in age would help me gain her trust.”
The questioning went on for a little while longer, until, satisfied with your answers, the green man spoke.
“A moment we must have,” He said, “To discuss. Back to your cell, you will go. Call you we will, when a decision we have reached.”
On your way out, you exchanged the briefest of glances with Ahsoka. A look of thanks passed between the two of you, like Ahsoka grateful you did not bring up your secret correspondence.
Not too long later, you were called back to the Council Chamber.
“It has been decided that you will be welcomed into the Order,” Said the bald jedi, who you learned was Mace Windu. “You will live here, and be trained in the light side of the force.”
“Thank you!” You said, a smile spreading across your face.
“Padawan Tano and Master Kenobi, you should thank.” Said Yoda. “Spoke on your behalf, they did.”
“Understand that there are caveats to this agreement.” Master Windu continued, “You will stay on the Temple grounds with supervision at all times. You will not be allowed access to your lightsabers, or communication to anyone outside the Temple.”
“Of course,” Obi Wan jumped in, “You will also provide us with any and all future CIS plans.”
“Of course.” You nodded, just happy they weren’t shipping you off to a prison planet, or executing you here and now. Once the rules were all laid out, they had the guards show you to your room. It was as bare as Ahsoka’s, except it was equipped with a security camera, and the windows were too small to fit through.
A short time later, Ahsoka joined you. She brought some robes and some scrolls for you, along with dinner.
“Honestly,” She said as the two of you sat cross legged on the floor, “I was surprised they let you in.”
“Me too.” You said, scooping up a bite from your bowl. “I thought the whole ‘fighting against you all in a war’ thing would’ve given them a bit more pause.”
“Yes, that,” Ahsoka agreed, “But also, you’re really old.”
“Excuse me?” You raised an eyebrow at her. “I am, like, a few months older than you at most.”
“I know that, Y/n,” She scoffed, “What I meant is that Anakin is one of the oldest people they’ve agreed to train, and even then there were some grumblings about it.”
“Well,” You shrugged, “They already agreed. Can’t go back now!” You had another bite. “How old was Anakin? I can’t be that much older.”
“He was nine.”
“Oh.”
Ahsoka left to go to bed, but said she’d be back in the morning to take you to breakfast and show you around the Temple.
“I’ve got a few day’s shore leave,” She said as she was leaving, “But after that I’ve gotta keep kicking Separatist butt.”
True to her word, the next morning she was in your room right as you finished getting dressed.
“Do you know where I should put these?” You said, holding up your old Sith robes. The red and black patterning stood out harshly against the soft neutral colors of the room.
“The laundry basket’s in the closet.” She said, nodding her head in its direction. “Let’s go, we’re burning daylight here. The sun’s been up for nearly a half hour! By the time we get to the Refectory, all the good food’s gonna be gone.”
Just as Ahsoka predicted, there was no good food left. After breakfast – which wasn’t all that bad – Ahsoka brought you to a quiet, dimly lit room, then left. Inside was a small group of people, mostly children, seated in a circle around an older Jedi.
She beckoned you to an empty cushion on the ground, and briefly explained that they were practicing silent meditation, and that the goal was to completely quiet your mind and body.
One of the conditions of your staying here was getting some training to combat the Sith teachings, so here you were, meditating cross-legged with a class of children. The silence sank into your bones, at first you tried to fight it, but when it eventually settled, you found yourself with a strange sense of peace.
You did as the instructor said, and whenever a thought or feeling entered your mind you acknowledged it, and let it drift away. For a moment you felt the anger and pain drift away, too. It was like a weight had been eased off your mind.
But when your concentration wavered, the weight settled on you once more.
After meditation the older Jedi led your group to the refectory. Ahsoka met up with you there. In the afternoon neither you nor Ahsoka had any obligations, so you spent it in the gardens. There, you saw a Jedi digging through the dirt holding a plant with wide heart-shaped leaves. The edges faded to green, while the rest was a pleasing pinkish red.
“Oh hello!” Said the Jedi, straightening up from his work, “Have you come to help out in the garden?”
“Uh…” You glanced at Ahsoka, unsure what to say.
“We would love to.” She said. So that afternoon was spent working peacefully in the garden. The Jedi you were working with was old, like your meditation instructor. He had the odd tendency to be silent for many minutes, state something completely out of the blue, and immediately go back to silence.
“Gardening used to be a popular activity among the Jedi.” He said, “Everyone from Younglings to geezers like me would be up here, digging through the dirt.” He said wistfully, “But that was before the war. Now we’ve got children out there fighting. It’s just us old folks holding down the fort here. Keeping the Younglings learning and such. You two are the only teenagers I’ve seen around here in a long time.”
“I will be here for a while.” You said, “If that’s any consolation.”
“Hm.” He grunted, and pleasant silence descended again.
And so went your days. Dinners with Ahsoka cross-legged on the floor, classes in restraining anger, teaching morality, and afternoons in the gardens, and weekly check-ins with the Jedi Council. You were still getting into the groove of things, when one night Ahsoka told you she had to leave.
“Wait what?” You asked, nearly choking on the bite of food in your mouth, “Already? It’s only been a few days!”
“I know,” Ahsoka said, “I know, but this war still needs fighting.”
“Do you at least know when you’ll be back?” You asked, eyes downcast and voice full of sadness.
“No.” Ahsoka saw the look in your eyes, she continued, “But your information has been invaluable. We’re winning, Y/n. The end is in sight. Soon no one will have to fight.”
“Yeah.” You said. “That’s… Comforting I guess. I just wish that I could talk to you, while you’re gone.”
“We could ask the Council to make an exception to the ‘no outside contact’ rule,” She suggested, “Say that you need someone your age to talk to.”
“That might work,” You said, “I’ll still miss you though.”
“I know. I’ll miss you, too.”
You were granted permission to talk with Ahsoka while she was gone. Nothing about her locations or missions, and they read all your messages before sending them, but it meant you got to preserve the friendship.
When she finally returned, it was like you were a different person. You happily wore the brown robes, tended the gardens, meditated, and lived without fear. The lessons you had been taught were sinking in, and the peace that came with them washed over every aspect of your life.
The moment she got back, Ahsoka started looking for you. She found you in the gardens, watering and digging. Your entire demeanor had shifted. You carried yourself like you knew you belonged, and yet humbly. You dutifully attended to your work, and Ahsoka felt more at peace simply being in the same room as you.
“Y/n.” She said. You poked your head up from the bushes, and smiled at her.
“Hey Tano.” You said, brushing your hands off against your robe and standing up, “I’m glad to see you again.”
The two of you walked through the Temple together, talking for hours.
“You…” She started, “I’ve only been gone a few weeks, but you seem so different now. Happier.”
“That’s because I am.” You said, “Happier, that is. I’m finally discovering peace.”
“Good.” She smiled at you, “Because you deserve it.”
The night before Ahsoka left again, she brought you dinner.
“Hey Y/n.” She said, holding a greasy bag up, “I brought you some food from Dex’s, since refectory food is all nutrition, hold the flavor.” Just like that first night, you sat on the floor of your room, and talked late into the night.
“Imma miss you.” You said as Ahsoka was just about to step through the door.
“I know,” Ahsoka paused, “But I have some good news. My friend Barriss Offee’s gonna be here for a bit. I think you’ll like her.”
And sure enough, you and Barriss hit it off. She was a little older than Ahsoka, and was able to give you some guidance. She often joined you in the garden, or for meditation.
She was interested in your swap from the Seperatist’s side, perhaps a little too interested. She often asked about what you were taught as a Sith, which made you uncomfortable. Whenever that came up you steered the conversation away.
It was probably just her naturally investigative personality. That's another thing you liked about her, she was smart. You could point to any plant, painting, or carving in the Temple and she knew something interesting about it.
Occasionally, she would share her doubts about the Order with you. It reminded you of your secret correspondence with Ahsoka, back before you joined the Jedi, so you indulged her. Her concerns were similar to those Ahsoka had, mostly centered around the war, but they were different. These weren't just lamentations that the world was messed up and the Jedi Order needed reform, they were more like subtle hints that the Order itself was the problem.
It was almost like she was probing you to see if you shared these beliefs. You brushed it off the first few times, but as the hints became less subtle, and her ideas less like ideas and more like plans, you resolved to tell the Council at your next weekly check in. It was just a few days away. In the meantime, you compiled all the worrying things you’d heard Barriss say so you could show them to the Council.
The day finally came, and as you walked down the hall to the Council Chamber, you had your head buried in a tablet, going over what Barriss said one last time. You tucked it away just before entering the room.
It was dark. The room was empty, except for one man lurking in the shadows. He stepped forward, and you saw it was Obi-Wan.
“They thought it would be better if you heard it from me,” he said. You were close with Obi-Wan, and often sought him out for advice. He stuck up for you during the Council’s private discussion, since he truly believed in you.
“Master Kenobi,” You said, “Is everything okay? Where are the other Masters? Is Ahsoka in trouble–”
“No,” He interrupted, “She’s fine. I’m here to return these to you.” He opened a small box, which contained your Sith robes. They seemed familiar and yet out of place. Just a relic of a part of your life that was long gone.
“Why would I need these?” You asked. Kenoi stayed silent. Searching for an answer, you looked at his face. His eyes were filled with regret and resolve.
“I’m so sorry.” He said.
“Why would I need these?” You asked again, voice more serious.
“You are part of a prisoner exchange.”
“No.” You shook your head, “No, I can’t go back. I’m not going back! They’ll kill me! Master Kenobi please-”
“They don’t know you defected.” He said, once again interrupting you.
“Then where do they think I was?” You questioned.
“As far as they know, you were imprisoned by the Republic.”
“How is this fair?” You spat, “I betrayed the CIS, the Sith, and everyone I used to know for a chance at joining the Order, and this is how it repays me? By manipulating me to get all the information it needed and then sending me back to the very same evils I fled?
“The Jedi Council never manipulated you.” Obi-Wan said, his voice infuriatingly serene and steady.
“Really?” You scoffed. “You imprisoned me, and didn’t even bother to let me know. I trusted you.”
Your voice lowered to barely above a horse whisper.
“You let me believe I had a future here.”
“I thought you did, too.” He said, “I’m sorry.”
“Can I at least say goodbye?” You asked after a moment of silence. Tears started to gather in the corners of your eyes, but you blinked them away.
“No.” He replied. “We have to leave now.”
You nodded, and followed him to a transport shuttle. It took about a day of travel to get to the exchange point. First you took a small shuttle, then a larger ship, a landing pod, and finally you rode on the back of Cody’s speeder. The whole time you didn’t utter a single word.
It was a remote planet. Just farms with little to no strategic value. You were wearing your Sith robes once more, and your arms were shackled behind you to align with your ‘prisoner of war’ story. You’d gotten there before Grievous, so you leaned against the bike while the clones and Obi-Wan sent out snipers to stay hidden in the surrounding hills’ shrubbery. The long grass rippled in the slight breeze, and the sun beat down. A few wispy clouds drifted lazily across the sky as the minutes ticked by.
After what felt like an eternity of waiting, the CIS finally showed up. Their speeders kicked up a storm of dust, which could be seen from miles away, even with the rolling hills. They slid to a halt on the other edge of a dusty clearing in perfect formation; Grievous at the center, flanked by a v shape of commando droids.
The metallic General dismounted, pulled a tied-up Jedi from the back of his bike, and shoved him to a droid. Cody started to grab your arm to lead you forward, but you shoved him off of you and affixed a look of disdain to your face.
Back when you first met him, this attitude would have come naturally, but now, after learning empathy, you actually felt bad for the clones. They didn’t ask to be soldiers. They never had a choice. But you couldn’t think about that right now. You had to keep up the guise of a disgruntled young Sith, complete with eye-rolling and sneers.
Cody walked you halfway across the patch of dusty ground while a droid brought over the captured Jedi. After confirming that the Jedi was alright, Cody signaled to Obi-Wan, and the exchange was confirmed. Before you left, Cody passed you a box containing your lightsabers. As you were rushed to the Separatist speeders, you dared to cast a final glance back at the Republic forces.
They were too busy welcoming their returned friend to even look at you.
“Each time you find yourself scooped up by the Republic reflects poorly on me.” Grievous continued berating you as the commando droids loaded the bikes onto the shuttle. “Have you learned nothing? When will you stop allowing yourself to be snatched by these pieces of Republic scum?”
“Those reflections are deserved!” You spat back. “You seem to forget that it is your job to teach me to fight. Instead you’re too busy chasing down Kenobi for some personal feud that he doesn’t even seem to know (much less care) about.”
Those words hung in the air for a moment.
“Ha.” He laughed hollowly, “Perhaps you have learned something.” He then climbed into the shuttle. You knew he expected you to follow, but you could tell your emotions were reaching a boiling point. Instead of thinking about leaving Ahsoka without saying goodbye, or how the council betrayed you, you changed the sadness into blind rage.
The wood of a nearby tree splintered as though an invisible hand crushed it. You looked at your hands, squeezed into fists so tight that your nails broke the skin, and realized that had been you. You had unintentionally channeled the Force. Slowly, you loosened your fists, and a few splinters fell away from the tree trunk.
From that day on, anger would be your fuel, and it would serve you well.

Good Night (Platonic Obi-Wan Kenobi x Padawan!Reader)
As Obi-wan Kenobi's padawan, your life was never short on adventure. Unfortunately, that meant you were always short on sleep. You were pretty sure the bearded man could see that when he asked you to stay on the ship while he, Anakin, and Ahsoka went ahead on the recon mission.
You tried to stay awake, knowing that despite the low impact of the task, it was all too important when someone or something actually did try to take or destroy the ship.
You only closed your eyes for a moment, and when you opened them again, you were against Anakin's chest, being carried to the quarters that, for the time being, you were sharing with your fellow Padawan.
You mumbled something that was probably supposed to come out as, "Master?" It sounded more formless than that, you were sure.
"Shh," he said quietly. "Ahsoka's already asleep. I was trying not to wake you."
"Thanks," you whispered once he set you down, feeling the tension in your neck from falling asleep in your chair release.
"No problem, kid. Sweet dreams."
It was only a few minutes before you heard Obi-wan's light footsteps announce his presence.
He walked over to Ahsoka's bunk first, seeming to check her for injuries once again. The mission must've been more dangerous than they'd been expecting.
"Oh, Padawan," he gave a quiet sigh as he settled down by your bedside. "You know, sometimes I wonder if I go... too easy on you."
He thought you were already asleep.
"But, as much as I hate to admit it, I'm glad you weren't with us this time," Obi-wan whispered. "It was nothing serious, nothing to worry about now, but there was one moment, where Ahsoka--oh, my heart nearly stopped. I can't imagine what it would be like if I had both of you to be worrying about.
"And I know you'll have to be in danger plenty before this war is over... ha, Qui-gon would not have had a problem with this," he shook his head, laughing faintly at himself. "For Forcesake, I didn't even have this problem with Anakin. I wasn't raising him in the middle of a war."
He sighed again. "Anyway, it doesn't matter. This is something I have to figure out on my own," he rubbed a hand across his beard before leaning over and pressing a light kiss to your cheek. "Sleep well, my dear. See you in the morning."

Nonverbal reader x Obi Wan Kenobi
let's get some things straight first. I am a neurodivergent person who occasionally gets to points where I can't communicate verbally. No idea why. I call this being non verbal because I don't know what else to call it.
This fic is based on my own experience and my own need for comfort. If you don't like it, don't read.
Tumblr media
Maybe it was the fact that you couldn't remember your life before them but you couldn't imagine a life outside of the Jedi order.
You'd grown up surrounded by love and support from your creche-mates and teachers and eventually your master and you knew knew not to that for granted— or at least you knew now.
When you were a young padawan going out on assignments with your master and you would become nonverbal you didn't think much of it. It been a part of your life since you could remember but the galaxy at large wasn't as aware or accepting. Sometimes when you'd suddenly switch to Galactic Basic Sign would freak people out sometimes. Not everyone could wrap their heads around why you didn't always have the ability to speak. Your master would tell you to heed them no mind. He would say that they were simply small minded and they were.
As you grew into a Jedi knight this bothered you less. But not always being able to communicate as easily as you wanted still bothered you.
You sat outside the temple trying to concentrate on your meditation. You'd been feeling blocked lately and didn't know how to fix it. Soon your eyebrows furrowed and you kicked out of the sitting position you were meditating in. This wasn't working. "Something wrong?" An elegant voice asked and Obi Wan sat beside you, his buzzed hair and padawan brain flowing slightly in the gentle breeze.
You nodded and he could feel you project your frustrations out into the force.
"Nonverbal?" He asked and you once again nodded.
"Did something happen? perhaps I could help" He insisted but you shook your head. Instead slumping your body into his.
I'm tired. You signed as your face fell into his shoulder and he chuckled.
"Did you sleep enough?" He asked and you nodded.
"Eat something?" He asked and you nodded. again.
"Then what is wrong?" He asked and you sign the words force block in the simplest of terms. You'd been doing so well it had been a while since you last had to use Galactic sign and you had gotten a bit rusty.
"Ahh" He hummed and took you hand in his.
"Maybe if we meditate together it would help" He suggested but you rolled your eyes.
"Humor me, please?" He asked and you exhaled tiredly. Fine. You'd try one more time.
"Don't worry darling, everything will be alright. We'll find it" He said

Summary: Your brother fell to the dark side, now you must watch him die.
Warnings: Angst, death, fire, choking,
Did I miss some important parts of his and Padme's talk? Yeah, probably. Do I care? No.
But now, as you ran down to talk Anakin out of the dark side you realized, it was real.
~☆~
You begged for this to not be real. You pleaded with the air, hoping that you would wake up and everything would be normal.
Padme was crying, staring into the eyes of the man that she loved, only to realize that this was no longer her Anakin.
He caressed her, holding her as she too prayed this was a bad dream.
"Anakin, please, this isn't right!" You cried out, hoping that the man you considered a brother would finally show.
"I did this for the both of you." He revealed, smile on his face.
"You, Padme, and our child." He started, staring into her eyes. "And you, Y/N. Now we can all be together, rule the galaxy!"
He took both of you into his arms, pressing you into a suffocating hug. You and Padme made eye contact, tears were leaking from both of your eyes.
Padme pulled back, "You're breaking my heart," She swallowed. "You're going down a path I can't follow!"
"Because of Obi-Wan." Anakins demeanor changed. He was no longer proud of his victory. He was colder, his expression was harder.
"No because of what you've done, what you plan to do!" Padme cried. "Stop- stop now, come back!"
"I love you!"
"Liar!"
Padme was now holding her neck, and Anakins hand was raised towards her. Obi-Wan was yelling, you couldn't hear him, you couldn't hear a thing.
You knew Anakin was yelling but all you could focus on was Padme's unconscious body.
This was no longer Anakin.
You had heard the way he used to go on about Padme. You were the only one to know, the only one they trusted. Padme had rushed to you as soon as she found out she was pregnant, and you urged her to tell her husband, who was more than thrilled. It was all going so well. Things were finally going right in Anakins' life. His wife was pregnant, the war was ending, then.. Palpatine. Anakin was warned.
You looked back up and Anakin and Obi-Wan were gone....Oh Maker...No...
~☆~
You finally made it to Obi-Wan's side, falling down to your knees as you heard Anakin's wails of agony. You attempted to crawl down to where Anakin was writhing. However, your movements were stopped. Obi-Wan was holding you in place.
"You were the chosen one!" Obi-Wan yelled, pain leaking into his words.
"It was said that you would destroy the sith, not join them!" He cut himself off to breathe, "Bring balance to the force, not leave it in darkness!"
Your screaming mixed into Anakins cries. No matter how hard you tried, you couldn't escape the force.
Obi-Wan forced you to stand and pulled you a little further up the hill, stopping so that he could reach down and grab onto Anakins lightsaber.
"I HATE YOU!" Anakin yelled, still writhing in pain.
Obi-Wan stood staring at Anakin, taking in another breath.
"You were my brother Anakin!" He told the dying man, "I loved you."
Anakins screams got louder as flames engulfed his body, the lava finally reaching his cut-off legs. Obi-Wan had to look away, not being able to bear the sight before him. So instead, he looked at you, watching as you attempted to break from the invisible force holding you. He listened as you repeatedly pleaded out against the universe.
Obi-Wan lifted you from the ground again, this time holding you over his shoulder as you tried to reach out for Anakin, him doing the same for you.
"ANAKIN!" You screamed, tears rushing down your face. "NO, ANAKIN!"
You had to accept that Anakin was dead.
Your brother was dead.

=============
In the middle of a war, finding time to sleep is far and between. You sleep where you can and when you can; much like your early medical residency. Now is one of those times where you’re trying to get as much sleep as possible, however challenging it may be. The bed dipping beside you and a feather soft kiss to your bare shoulder rouses you out of a light sleep causing you to let out a tired yawn as the kisses continue. “Obi-Wan. What are you up to?” You turn around on your bed and face your secret lover, still in his robes and armor.
“I just missed you, darling. Is it so wrong that I want to show you my affection?” You both know the actual answer to that because yes, it is wrong, however, do either of you care? Not really. “Come on, get up.” He gently takes hold of your arm and pulls you out from underneath the covers as you groan in protest.
“Obi, I need sleep. I have an early shift in the infirmary tomorrow.” He doesn’t acknowledge your words as he pulls up a song from his holopad and shucks off his armor before pulling you into his arms. Letting a sigh fall from your lips, you look up to your lover before licking your thumb and trying to wipe away the grime from his face. “You couldn’t have taken a shower first?”
Obi-Wan rolls his eyes as he spins you out from his body before pulling you back in, mindlessly swaying to the gentle music while the rest of the Temple sleep. “I figured you could join me in the refresher after our impromptu dance session.” The thought of sharing a shower with Obi-Wan and washing away the dirt and sweat to reveal his gorgeous gorgeous body does make your head perk up slightly, causing Obi-Wan to laugh. “Not so fast, my love. I want to finish this dance first.”
“Fine, but I get to do whatever I want with you, deal?” Obi-Wan nods in agreement as his hands wrap around your waist and your arms wrap around his neck, tugging the ends of his hair mindlessly as the two of you dance together to the music, just basking in each other’s presence, though you could tell something is wrong. “How long are you going to be here?”
“Always straight to the point,” he tries to joke but taking a brief look at your face he realizes that there’s no fooling you. “I leave tomorrow for another month.”
“But, you just got back.” Even though you’re both Jedi, you still can’t help but to feel heartbreak at the prospect of not seeing him for another month. Obi-Wan’s lips downturn as he hangs his head, the music in the background changing as if reflecting the mood in the room.
“I know (Y/N), the Council needs me though. With Anakin on his own mission, they need someone that can get the job done. However; I am talking with the Council about bringing more medics. The ones that we have aren’t enough to deal with all the injuries that the clones sustain. Perhaps I can convince them to allow you to come on the mission with me. Would you be willing to go with me?”
You pull away for a brief moment as Obi-Wan prepares for rejection. He knows that the work that you’re doing in the Temple is important and he doesn’t really want you to join him on the warfront, but he does want you by his side and he feels like that weighs more than anything.
“Yes. I’ll go with you.” Obi-Wan lets out a sigh of relief as you bury your face into his chest, listening to his heartbeat while he kisses the top of your head, savoring the feeling of you being so close to him. “Now, how about that shower?”
Laughing, Obi-Wan doesn’t hesitate to strip out of his robes before dragging you over to the refresher. “I think that sounds wonderful.”

Being trapped on a separatist cruiser as you were forced to wait for reinforcements was not the way you had wanted to spend your day. Nothing about this situation was ideal, especially not the searing pain in your side that was slowing down you and Obi-wan down as you attempted to regroup with Cody and the 212th who were on the other side of the ship.
Usually, you would be able to just push through the pain, but this time your wound seemed to be particularly bad as you could barely walk on your own. Your arm was slung around Obi-wans neck and his arm was wrapped around your waist while the other held your hand allowing you to lean your body weight onto him.
The clanking of droids came from down the hall, interrupting your thought process and putting you into a state of panic when you realized that the sound getting closer and closer. You mumbled curses to yourself frantically looking around for any place to hide.
“You don’t suppose we could fit in the vents, do you?” Obi wan asked, bitter sarcasm leaking into his tone.
“Even if we could I don’t think I’d be able to get in like this,” you replied through gritted teeth, eyes still darting back and forth the corridor.
“There!” Obi-wan exclaimed suddenly, and you didn’t even have time to register what was going on before you were pulled into a small room. The sudden movement sent a bolt of pain shooting up your body, and you clamped down on your cheek to suppress a loud groan.
Just a moment after the doors had closed you could hear the droids turn into the hallway you had been in and walk past the room, if it could even be called that, you and the dirty blonde Jedi were hiding in. The two of you let out a breath of relief as they walked past you uneventfully.
You opened your mouth, looking up at Obi wan to tell him that the two of you should probably get going again but the words died in your throat when you found him already looking at you, your face inches apart, so close that you could feel him breath on your lips. Your cheeks flushed a deep red as you realized how close the two of you were, despite the fact that he wasn’t carrying half your weight anymore and you pressed yourself into the wall behind you, a pointless attempt at distance.
“You know, Cody and the rest of the men are probably waiting for us, so we should probabl-” You started, gasping as you felt his fingers wrap around your wrist, stopping you from opening the door.
“I think they can wait just a little longer,” he cut you off, eyes meeting yours as you looked up at him. You swallowed heavily, feeling the air become thick with tension. His other hand came to cup your cheek, and your breath hitched in your throat, eyes locked onto the others as he inched closer to you until he you were just centimeters apart.
His breath fanned across your face as he spoke in a whisper, “How's your side?”
“Fine,” you breathed in reply, watching as his eyes flit down to your lips. He hummed in response, and you opened your mouth beginning to speak, “i really don’t think-” You weren't able to finish as he cut you off, pressing his lips against yours making you whimper as you melted against him.
You’d wanted this for so long, but you’d never even entertained the idea of it being a reality because it was wrong, and risky and dangerous. None of that seemed to matter to either of you though, because even with all that, it felt so good. The feeling of his lips pressed against yours and his hands on your body, leaving a blazing trail of heat in their wake had all your worry's flying out of your mind. Leaving you thinking about nothing but him.
You weren't sure whether it was the need to breathe or the clanking of more droids passing by, but one of the two had you whispering his name and pulling away. You couldn’t meet his gaze as you spoke, to flustered to even spare a glance in his direction.
“We should probably get going,” you said, clearing your throat awkwardly. Thank the Maker that the room was pitch black because from the feel of it, your face was probably as red a tomato.
“Yeah,” he swallowed heavily, taking a step back, “We should.”
“We can – uhhh – finish this later,” you mumbled, regretting the words the minute they were out of your mouth. You glanced at him for the first time since your kiss, hoping he hadnt heard you as he wrapped his arm around you and slung your arm around his neck. You watched as a small smirk grew on his face. He’d definitely heard you.
“Later,” he repeated.

too close
Tumblr media
Pronouns: gender neutral
/Obi-Wan x Reader/
A/N: yay I'm here once again, now with some Obi fluff! I love him so much and I hope I made him justice... usually I tend to make my imagines look like fanfics, but it's a little rushed this time... I hope you don't mind. But yeah, would guys like a sequel? Let me know! xoxo Warnings: use of "y/n", reader is Obi's padawan but they are around the same age, pinning, a little bit of angst but lots of fluff :D
The truth was, Obi-Wan was desperate
The Jedi master was the only one trying to deny what most had already picked up. Even his superiors were now warning him about “remembering the Jedi ways” for he was “getting too close”
Because he was. He was too close to you, his newfound padawan.
Older than most, you were almost your master's age, for you had been found later in life, not being able to train as a youngling. And for that, most masters declined to train you.
But Obi-Wan felt an immediate connection between you. He knew you were supposed to be his apprentice.
But as time passed and the two of you got to know each other intimately, the dynamics between you two got a little… confusing
You were inseparable, and Obi-Wan occasionally would catch himself looking at you for too long, admiring your face and mapping out your every feature.
What he brushed off as just an innocent crush, had developed into something far greater. He longed for your presence, for the way your eyes met his with such adoration, for your wittiness that ever matched his own, for your voice, your smell…
Obi-Wan felt like he was going insane, not even able to meditate without his thoughts moving away towards you. Especially now that you were going on your first solo mission, he couldn't help but worry.
Later that day, you knocked at his quarters, ready to say goodbye for the time being as you headed for your mission.
What you found was a defeated Obi-Wan, worried to the bone. Which did not exactly help as your own nervousness picked up.
But in a way, seeing your master worried about you made you feel… special. Little did he know, but you felt the same for Obi-Wan, feelings too great to deny and increasingly hard to conceal.
As emotions grew in your chest, you moved to give Obi-Wan a tight hug, which he returned warmly, selfishly savoring the moment in your arms.
After a few moments, you both stepped back to touch foreheads. You were so close now, faces inches away from one another. You could feel as the other breathed, could feel the heat from each other's body…
"Y/N…" a whisper, a short and silent acknowledgment. All he needed to say was your name, for you now knew.
You kissed Obi-Wan suddenly, a chaste peck on the lips that lingered for just a moment, and you immediately regretted it.
"M-Master, I'm… I'm so sorry, I'm…" Panic. You knew all too well about the Jedi Ways, and the last thing you wanted was to disappoint your Master. What if you misinterpreted it all? "Please, forgive m-"
Obi-Wan kissed you with sudden desperation, cutting your sentence for it did not matter. He had tasted you and now couldn't get enough.
Quick but gentle, Obi-Wan cupped your face with his hands, guiding you through a deep, passionate kiss. Both of you were high with the feeling, hearts beating fast inside your chests.
As you stepped away to breathe, foreheads resting on each other again, you couldn't help but wonder after a few moments.
"What now?" your voice shaky with the current events, couldn't hide the fact you were afraid. You loved him, and that scared you. Would you be able to stay away from him?
"What would you like it to be?" his voice steady but gentle, just like himself. It grounded you, reminding you he was right there.
"I… I don't want to be a stranger. I don't want this to end here." No, you couldn't afford to stay away. Not after you tasted him, felt him. You needed Obi-Wan, and he felt the same.
"Then… so be it." a smile grew shyly on his face, which you retributed happily.
Obi-Wan didn't know how this would work, but he would make it work. All traces of guilt and doubt vanished the moment he was in your embrace, the only thing left was you. And that's what mattered at that point.
Was he… in love? He felt the dangerous feeling creeping inside his chest, overwhelmed by it all. But the look on your face reminded him, everything was going to be alright. In the end, in your arms, he was going to be alright.
Maybe it was time he talked to Anakin about all of this…

Late Night Talking
Pairings: Obi-Wan Kenobi x gn!jedi!reader (romantic)
Imagine: you and Obi-Wan confess your feelings for each other
Warnings: nearly kissing, talk about the Jedi code, fluff?, not proofread, none else I think
A/N so I don’t really like this one but decided to post it anyway… this is actually part of a story I’m working on with one of my ocs but thought why not remake this part into a x reader fic… so enjoy! <3 (at least I hope you will)
Tumblr media
Obi-Wan looked out at the view before him, staring at the life that seemed to fill Coruscant even late into the night. His beige robes, and large dark brown coat moved slightly from the light breeze. He fingered his lightsaber as a habit from the warzones he usually found himself in. Obi-Wan sighed as he felt your calming force signature fill the room.
As you approached Obi-Wan, you couldn’t help but to let a smile grace your features. Obi-Wan remained staring at the life in front of him as he spoke in a sorrowful voice.
“Hello”
“You okay my dear friend?” You asked just moments later as you felt the sadness through the force and watched the solemn look that graced Obi-Wan’s face.
He turned to face you, expression remaining the same as he let out a slight sigh. You walked to stand beside Obi-Wan and looked out at the landscape as you leaned against the railing. “What's bothering you?”
Obi-Wan exhaled with a slight frown as he spoke. "Just thinking about.... the past."
You didn’t speak for a moment as you focused on your hands as they started to fiddle with the hem of the cloak you’d stolen from Obi-Wan not that long ago. “Obi-Wan you know as well as me that we can’t linger on the past”
A slight nod came from the older man, his voice still holding the same sorrow "I know, I know. It's just... hard to forget."
“Obi-Wan I’m not asking you to forget, I simply just ask you to remember our code, don’t let the past control your emotions”
The man nodded once more as he glanced at you, he still wondered how someone so young could hold so much understanding of people. "I know, I know the Jedi Code, I know its rules, I will be mindful of it. I'm sorry, it's just hard not to get emotional when thinking about one’s past..."
“I get it” You placed a comforting hand on Obi-Wan. You couldn’t help but to think back to your early days before becoming a jedi knight, the emotions that always followed with each memory, the sorrow. You understood Obi-Wan and it might have been hypocritical of you to tell him to not let the emotions control him when it was exactly what happened to you sometimes. However you only wanted what was best for your friend.
Obi-Wan couldn’t help but to smile as he took a quick glance at the hand placed on his shoulder, he could feel one of your many rings press down onto the material covering his shoulder. He dared a quick glance at you and saw your eyes twinkle back at him in understanding. He couldn’t do anything other than nod and let out a small sigh once more.
"Thank you”
“You don’t have to thank me” there was a comfortable silence for just a few moments before Obi-Wan spoke once more as he looked out towards the beautiful city again.
"This view... “ he glanced at you before he quickly looked back “ it just helps calm me down ?" his tone was filled with a sense of peace this time around, a nice change from the sadness before.
“It does” a smile graced your face once more as you let go of Obi-Wan’s shoulder and leaned against the railing once more, shivering slightly from the cold. Obi-Wan couldn’t help but to miss the feeling of your hand on his shoulder, and he desperately just wanted to tell you to keep close to him so that he could feel your warmth.
"And having you here... it helps as well." His voice took a slightly shyer tone as he spoke, and you tried not to react to the uncommon shyness of Obi-Wan. Instead you turned towards your friend with a warm smile. However, not knowing entirely how to answer, you turned back to watching the speeders pass by and the flickering lights of the many billboards in Coruscant.
The two of you stayed like that for several more minutes before Obi-Wan finally got over his shyness and spoke again "Do you ever wonder what it would be like… not to be a Jedi?" His voice carried a feeling of curiosity as he turned to face you once more
You couldn’t help but to let out a breathy laugh and yet another smile. “I think we all do” you knew for certain that you would most likely end up as a farmer somewhere, that or you’d probably have followed your older brother in joining death watch as a way to make your family proud of you for once.
Obi-Wan smiled slightly in return, and nodded for probably the tenth time that day. "Yes, indeed…” he paused, unsure if he wanted to ask his next question or not. “Do you ever wonder why we can't have attachments?"
“I think it’s not so much attachment itself but the fact that if you focus on one single emotion or person to the point where it gets unhealthy-“ you paused not knowing entirely how to explain it but hoped Obi-Wan would understand what you meant anyways like usual “Yes I do wonder why we can’t have attachments”
As always Obi-Wan understood what you meant. He had always loved how your force and minds worked in such a simple harmony together. They’d probably always understand what the other meant and neither of them would ever be seen complaining. "I have thought about it too” Obi-Wan paused as if afraid to admit it “the fact that we cannot have attachments, or fall in love..."
You shook your head slightly in acknowledgement “it isn’t against the code to fall in love, but if that love becomes your obsession if you get attached to the love you have for another being… if you get attached to the person to the point where you can’t let them go then you have strayed from the code”
"Yes, I suppose that is true, but have you ever wondered how easy it would be for one to attach themselves to the love they have for” Obi-Wan looked down slightly at you “someone?" his eyebrows raised slightly in thoughts, his eyes and focus remained on you curious for a reply.
“Obi-Wan I-“ you stopped yourself before you would say something you might regret. Obi-Wan looked down at you intently with anticipation, a slight smirk and playful expression formed itself onto his face
You sighed “do you”
His eyes remained locked on you as he spoke "Do I have attachment to someone, is that what you’re asking?”
You looked up at Obi-Wan as you heard his teasing voice “yes”
"Yes... I believe I may have attachment to someone." Obi-Wan's voice once again got filled with that shyness which was so unlike him.
You looked curiously at Obi-Wan as you turned your entire body to face him “may I ask who?”
Obi-Wan tensed up and turned his head away, thankful that his beard covered his face as embarrassment seeped through him. His voice was nervous, slightly quivering. “you know who”
You couldn't help but to chuckle as you came closer to the slightly older man. “I want to hear you say it”
"You.... you are the one I have attachment to... I know you might not feel the same but-” he got cut of by you who carefully placed your hands on both his cheeks and turned his head to face you again as you looked deep into his eyes “I do”
Obi-Wan's eyes remained locked on the person he’d wished he’d called his since you first met, and the small blush on his cheeks deepened. His focus remained completely on you, as he lifted both his hands toward your face. Moving you head to look up at him in a better angle he moved forward closer to your face. He stopped right before your lips touched and his beautiful blue eyes shined in the light from the city as he asked you for permission.

𝙱𝚎𝚌𝚊𝚞𝚜𝚎 𝙾𝚏 𝙻𝚘𝚟𝚎
Welcome! This is the first drabble of my Cancer free Celebration and the first drabble of the month! If you enjoy please consider to like and reblog, it is greatly appreciated and it helps for other people to see my work! (Don't repost without permission or plagiarize)
Warning: character death-siblings death...lmk if I missed any (prob did) (also I tried my best to make this gender neutral lmk if I failed)
Pairings: Anakin x GNsibling!reader
Type: Angst (sorta?)
Summary: Anakin turns into Darth Vader trying to save his twin from a deadly illness
Listen to: TV by Jmusikk on youtube
Sometimes, in trying to fix something, you only make it worse. And sometimes it leads to your own demise.
.
.
.
In trying to save someone's life sometimes you forget to save yours as well. But sometimes to the “savior”, it doesn't matter. Because the person's life is so worth saving, saving yourself is no longer important.
.
.
.
Anakin only had a tiny amount of people he trusted. Within that amount you were his number one. His twin, his own flesh and blood. His other half. Anakin loved you with all his soul. With every ounce of the force he carried. He would die for you, and you for him.
Being twins meant having each other's back. It meant being there for each other no matter what. Through thick and thin. From the core of earth to the heavens itself. Without hesitation. Without a limit. It's a pact. A part both siblings play, forever, all because of love.
You were plagued with a disease no one knew how to cure. Maker, no one even knew what it was. Nevertheless, Anakin being the stubborn boy he was raised to be, he was hell bent on figuring out how to cure your illness.
That's how he found himself talking to palpatine. Seeking out his help. Seeking out his knowledge in the force. Believing he could help save you. The bare lies Palpatine fed Anakin, led him to kill innocent jedi younglings. They led him to choke his expecting wife. Hurting the love of his life and his future child. The ugly repulsive lies led him to fight his master. Led him to turn to the darkside. And in the end, because of Palpatine's repulsive lies, only left him with a heart in pieces.
All he had, a secret bride, a hidden future child, a family. All gone. In the end the things he had left were a heart shattered into oblivion, a dead wife, and a long, lonely path down the dark side. Alone.
All because of a simple emotion.

Pairings: Obi-Wan Kenobi x reader platonic
*not my gif*
Summary: After reuniting with an old face from his past, Obi-Wan must come to a decision that will change the course of the rest of his life
A/N: Yes, this is short. Yes, I am going through a writers block. Yes, I just wanted to get this out bc I love the show sm so far
Please don’t plagiarize my work, you may reblog if you like but I’m asking that you don’t steal my hard work
Tumblr media
Obi-Wan’s footsteps came to a halt as he froze in his place, staring down at the small red screen on the machine, with wide eyes, knowing that it meant that somebody had entered his makeshift home.
Hesitantly, he crept in through the opening, glancing around the corner as his instincts that he had worked so hard to push away kicked in.
Subconsciously, he began reaching for something that no longer was hanging on his belt. Something that hadn’t hung on his belt for years.
Peering around another corner, his slightly narrowed eyes landed on a hooded figure who had their back to him, but they straightened up as if they heard his silent footsteps.
The man braced for whatever was about to come, only to falter when he came face to face with a person he thought he would never see again. You.
“Y/n.” He breathed out, eyes going wide.
You smiled gently at him, lowering your hood, “Hello, Obi-Wan. I figured you would’ve sensed it was me, though.” You teased playfully.
“I don’t go by that name here, it’s Ben now.” The man mumbled, ignoring your last comment as he shuffled by you and discarded his robe on his bed, refusing to make eye contact.
He heard you sigh, “Listen, I know that I shouldn’t be here-“
Ben whirled around, months of bottled up anger finally getting the best of him, “You’re right. You shouldn’t be here.” He seethed, “It’s dangerous for the both of us.”
You glanced down at your feet, biting your lip as you felt guilt slowly begin to pool up in your stomach, “I know.” You said softly, now being the one to refuse to meet the older man’s gaze.
The ex-jedi felt his features soften as he looked over at you, a person he once knew, “It is good to see you, Y/n.”
You took a deep breath, lifting your head up to face him again, “You know why I’m here.”
“They sent you?” His right eyebrow raised even though he didn’t even have to ask to know that Leia’s adopted parents had sent you to try and convince him to help find her.
Nodding your head, you took a step forward, bringing your hands up almost in a begging manner, “Please, Mast- Ben.” You caught yourself, “If not for me, then for him.”
Ben stiffened even more, “I left that life behind me long ago, and if you knew what was good for you then you would as well.”
“I loved him too, you know.” Your statement caught him off guard as he looked at you, startled, “He was my brother just as much as he was yours.”
While Anakin had been Obi-Wan's apprentice, you had been Anakin’s.
“I can’t.” His voice broke, hands trembling at his sides as he tried to calm himself down.
With a sad shake of your head your eyes found their way back to the ground once more, “The Obi-Wan I knew would never back down from helping a person.”
“The Obi-Wan you knew has been dead for a very long time.” Came his shaky reply.
You allowed your head to nod slightly, sighing a bit, “I understand… I suppose I just didn’t want to do it alone… I just wanted it to be like old times.” He wasn’t meant to hear the last part as your voice quieted down, but the words were clear as day to him.
“We can never go back to the old days, Y/n.”
You let out a small, sad laugh, “I know.”
Allowing your eyes to lift back to the man you had once looked up to more than anything, you let yourself give out one last shaky breath, “Goodbye, Ben.”
With that, you strode past him and made your way towards the door.
“Wait.” The word appeared to have startled both you and Obi-Wan, who hadn’t been expecting himself to say that, “I… I’ll come with you.”
A small smile made its way onto your face, “I knew I could count on you.”
As he gazed upon your face, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of responsibility, one he had felt towards you when you were much younger and still a padawan learner, and no matter what he knew he couldn’t let you face whatever lied ahead by yourself. Not anymore.
