Word count:2.1k
Warnings: !SPOILERS! for Ahsoka Ep. 6, minor injuries, canon typical violence, you can maybe notice that I was a bit pissed at Sabine-

Part I (you are here), Part II
Masterlist
Tumblr media
“Ezra…please, don´t go”
“We will see each other again, I promise.”
“Ezra…”
“I love you, Y/N”
Your head was pounding, as you slowly came back to your senses. Memories of conversations long ago haunting your dreams and making you want to wake up again.
“Ezra…”, you mumbled, as your eyes slowly opened, the world before you still blurry.
“Easy there, you hit your head pretty hard”
As you finally managed to gain your full consciousness again, you realized that the person in front of you, very much wasn´t Ezra. It was Sabine. You looked at her with confusion written all over your face, as you slowly sat up.
“Sabine? Where are we?”, you mumbled, taking in your surroundings. It looked like you were in a small prison cell. Only a bench adorned the dimly lit room. Taking another look at Sabine, only confirmed your suspicion.
“We were captured.”, Sabine finally said, after a few moments of silence, “By Baylan. We are currently on the way to the place where Ezra is.”
“And Thrawn.”, you mumbled to yourself, as bits and pieces of what had happened on Arcana came back to you…
Fear filled your eyes, as you arrived at the battleground. Ahsoka was fiercely fighting Baylan Skoll, trying to obtain the map.
“Ahsoka!”, you yelled, as you grabbed your own lightsaber, joining in to the battle.
Just in time, you jumped forward, preventing Ahsoka from being cut in half and pushing Baylan back a few inches.
“Get the map!”, Ahsoka instructed and you nodded at her, ready to sprint towards the small orb, but before you could reach it, a blazing red blade appeared right in front of you, blocking your path.
“Not so fast”, Baylan mumbled, preparing to strike, but you managed to block him beforehand. Your lightsabers colliding in an explosion of colors, as your green blade pushed against his red one. And those few moments were already enough for Ahsoka to lunge forward and grab the map. A scream of pain left her lips, as the glowing orb burned her skin and she dropped it to the floor.
Momentarily distracted by your companions' actions, Baylan managed to push you back. You only had seconds to react, but you were too slow. You felt the burning pain in your hand, as Bayllan hit you with his lightsaber, causing you to drop your own. You looked up at him, thinking that he would kill you right then and there. But instead of impaling you, he used the force to send you flying against one of the gigantic stone pillars, knocking you unconscious almost immediately.
You heard Ahsoka yell your name, but what happened afterwards was not known to you.
“Where is Ahsoka?”, you finally asked, after a few minutes of thinking. Sabine looked at you with sorrow in her eyes:”She…She was fighting Baylan, when I arrived, but he knocked her over the edge of the cliff. I don´t know if she's alive or not.”
“And then what?!”, you pressed, trying not to think about the possibility of Ahsoka being dead,”Did you just give them the map and left her behind?”
“I had no choice!”; she tried to defend herself, walking up and down the small room, even if that were only a few steps.
“I thought she was dead! You were laying there, also possibly dead. I was alone and this was the only way to ever see Ezra again!”, she explained, finally looking at you, still sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall.
“Sabine…”, you began, taking a slow breath in,”Believe me, out of all people that you know, I am probably the only one who understands how much you want to see Ezra again, but preventing Thrawn from returning to our galaxy is more important. We can´t let him start another war. That's not what Ezra wanted. He made this sacrifice, so that Thrawn would forever be exiled and now, we have to make sure, it stays that way.”
Before Sabine could say anything, the door to your prison cell opened and two Storm Troopers entered.
“Time to get up!”, one of them said sternly, as he grabbed your arm, harshly pulling you to your feet, while the other grabbed Sabine.
It took you a few seconds to gain your footing, the blunt force that had caused your knockout on Arcana still affecting you. As the Trooper realized you were struggling to stand, he pushed you forward, causing you to stumble to the ground again.
“Get going already!”, he yelled, as you slowly stood up again.
“Hey, she's injured!”Sabine yelled, but the Troopers ignored her. As you were finally standing on your feet again, the Trooper grabbed your arm again and they both started escorting you and Sabine out of the prison cell.
After a few minutes of walking in silence, you finally reached your destination. You couldn`t believe your eyes, as you took in what was in front of you.
Grand Admiral Thrawn himself was standing there, waiting for you and Sabine. He looked exactly like you remembered him. His red eyes bored into your skull, as he looked you both up and down.
“Sabine Wren”, he said, as you came to a halt in front of him,”And Y/N L/N”
“Thrawn…”, Sabine said quietly, looking at him with the same disgust in her eyes, as he held for her.
“What a delight it is after so long to see familiar faces.”, Thrawn continued, not one ounce of emotion in his voice,”I understand it is you I have to thank for my escape from exile.”
“Where is Ezra?”, you finally spoke, ignoring his question entirely.
“Ah yes.”, he smiled, looking down at you,”The desire to be reunited with your long lost Lover…”, he briefly turned around to Sabine,”...and Friend.”
He paused, looking to the ground for a second:”How that singular focus will reshape our galaxy.”
“Just answer the question.”,Sabine interrupted him, anger lacing her voice.
“No need for hostility.”, Thrawn smiled, as calm as someone who was about to start a new war, had ever talked.
“I´m aware of your agreement with Baylan Skoll, and I intend to honor it.”, Thrawn continued to explain as he turned away from you. You eyed Sabine from the side, as she had never told you about any agreement.
You watched how a Storm Trooper with a patchwork armor of white and gold walked over to you, taking off your cuffs.
“You shall have provisions, a mount, and our latest intel on Bridger´s whereabouts.”,Thrawn revealed.
You furrowed your brows in confusion:”So, that's it? You´re just gonna let us walk out of here?”
“You two helped my cause. Now I shall help you.”, Thrawn explained with a little bow of his head,”You should know, though, that once my starship departs, you´ll be stranded here forever. It's also quite possible that your friend…is dead.”
You shook your head, a sarcastic grin lacing your features. You knew that he had to be up to something. He would never just let you walk out of there.
“If you survived, I'm sure he's doing just fine.”, Sabine suddenly said, her voice sounding like venom.
Thrawn seemed to be agitated by her statement and stepped towards her concerningly slowly:”You have gambled the fate of your galaxy on that belief.”
“You wouldn't understand.”, Sabine countered, staring up at Thrawn with nothing but hate in her eyes.
Even though you knew what she meant, you couldn't help but agree with Thrawn. You had to find Ezra now or else, everything would be lost. You needed to turn this battle to your favor or the galaxy would fall into darkness.
After a few seconds of silence, Thrawn looked over to you, inspecting your face for any signs of disagreement, but you didn't let him see your concerns, so he finally looked back at Sabine:”Perhaps not.”
“We'd rather not waste anymore time.”, you interrupted their little conversation,”What kind of ride you got around here?”
After being given back your belongings, you were escorted to your ride. Much to your and Sabine´s dismay, it wasn't a speeder, but a domesticated creature called Howler. It apparently went by the name Tota.
You looked at the creature for a few seconds before stepping forward and petting it´s snout. Tota happily licked your hand in response.
“You're injured. You ride.”, Sabine said, patting your shoulder, leaving no room for protest. You only nodded and mounted the Howler, as Sabine grabbed the leash.
“Be warned”, One of the Troopers instructed,”Nomads wander this wasteland and prey upon each other for survival. Here are your weapons.”
He first handed Sabine her two blasters and then her lightsaber, before walking over to you. The man pulled out your lightsaber and you were relieved to see that it was still intact.
He stepped back, ready for your departure:”Die well.”
You eyed him for a second before turning around, as the door in front of you opened. Sabine led the Howler outside and the doors closed behind you. Now, you were on your own.
Tumblr media
To say that your ride through this wasteland was eventful, would be an understatement. You were out for maybe an hour or two, as you were attacked by those nomads the Trooper had warned you about. Much to your dismay, Tota jumped in panic and threw you off before running away.
Luckily, You and Sabine had managed to defeat the attackers, before  anything worse could happen. It also didn't take you long to find the Howler again. Sabine was heavily against taking him with you again, but after a bit of convincing, she accepted him and you continued your journey.
Which led you to where you were right now. Following a small creature you had encountered, hoping they would lead you to Ezra, even though you didn't understand a word they said.
You had grabbed Tota´s leash firmly, to keep them away from the small creatures.
“It's alright, Tota.”, you mumbled, staying back a bit to calm the Howler down. You smiled as one of the people gave you an unknown fruit. You took it, thanking them before trying to feed Tota with it. They smelled it first, before finally taking a bite, judging that it was tasty.
Your eyes widened as you were led to a village. You saw lots of small tents, at least a hundred people running around doing Maker knows what, but most of them were looking at you curiously, as you entered their home.
“I knew I could count on you.”
Your Head shot up as you heard his voice. A few meters in front of You, Sabine turned towards a small hut, presumingly staring at a Person you couldn't see from where you were standing. You watched how a smile unfolded on Sabine´s face before she stepped forward.
And so did Ezra.
You only took in his form as they started conversing. He was much taller now, his long hair hanging around his face, that was adorned by a beard. You watched how the two of them hugged each other,  you finally decided to step away from Tota and closer to them.
“Ezra?”, You said quietly, your voice trembling, as his eyes finally landed on your form. The smile on his face dropped, as seriousness that you never seen on him before, took over.
“Y/N.”, he mumbled and only seconds later, he ran towards you, engulfing you in his arms.
“It's really you!”, You exclaimed, tears in your eyes as you wrapped your arms around him. Ezra happily lifted off your feet, spinning you around.
“It's really me!”, he smiled, as he let you to the ground again. You looked up at the boy you loved. He had grown into a man. You smiled as your hand cupped his cheek. He immediately leaned into your touch, closing his eyes.
“Maker, I missed you so much.”, he mumbled, putting his hand on top of yours.
“I missed you too.”, You smiled and looked into his eyes. His appearance might have changed, but his eyes were still the ones you fell in love with.
“I'm gonna kiss you now”, Ezra muttered and you only nodded, before his lips collided with yours. And that's when you finally felt the relief of having him back again. His beard tickled against your skin, as he poured all his emotion into the kiss and you felt connected to him even through the force.
You were gasping for air, as you finally parted again. A soft smile now adorned Ezra´s face and he leaned forward to give you another kiss on the forehead.
“I love you, Y/N”, he said firmly. And this time, you got to reply to him. Finally, after all this time.
“I love you too, Ezra.”

A Padawan's Confession
Pairings: Obi-Wan x padawan!reader
Warnings/Tags: drama, hurt/comfort, age difference, no (further) romantic interaction
Summary: G/N reader! You and your master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, rest by a campfire overnight during a mission. As your thoughts get heavier each second he senses your trouble and you take the opportunity to announce your decision to leave the order. Because feelings far beyond the boundaries of the Jedi slowly turn you insane as your heart craves for the man who's both the furthest and closest to you....
Words: 1.7k
A/n: This short story is inspired by a one shot I've written many years ago. I hope you like it! Also English isn't my first language so there might be spelling and grammar mistakes in this story!
~~~~~~
The quiet camp fire marked tonight's resting place from your stressful mission. You and your master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, sat on broken trunks, your cloaks pulled around you tightly to keep the warmth of the fire around your bodies. But as quiet as the night seemed to be, your mind was the exact opposite. Hundreds of thoughts raced around and kept your pulse high and your tension at a maximum. It was at the time you eventually should be honest with your master and talk to him about your decision to leave the order. Your thoughts have been resolving around this topic for months now and with each day passing you felt more certain to pervade your decision, as the pressure and pain got worse and became almost unbearable.
While you tried to think about the best way to tell him, your master sensed your inner tension. "You seem troubled, Y/N," he observed. "Is there something you'd like to talk about?"
You hesitated for a brief moment before you nodded. "Yes. Kinda..."
"What's wrong?" Obi-Wan asked, his neutral facial expression slowly turning into concern. He didn't want you to feel bad. He in fact despised it when you were sad or troubled and that is why he always wanted to be there for you, support you and help you through bad times. Of course it was also his responsibility to care for you but through all the year's you've been his Padawan you grew to be so much more for him, something similar to the daughter he never had. And that is a fact he never actually said out loud but it was a silent truth between the both of you.
You let out a deep sigh but it didn't release any of the heavy pressure pushing down on you. To leave the order was a life-changing decision that couldn't be undone. It could be a big mistake—or the best decision you'll ever make. But after all it hurt a lot to even think about saying goodbye.
"I-" you started but a heavy lump in your throat interrupted you. "I can no longer do this." You automatically lowered your voice and turned your face towards the darkness behind the trees to avoid his glance. You felt tears form in your eyes, so you closed your lids and held your breath. There was almost nothing else as awkward as crying in front of your master, a Jedi in accordance with the code. 'There is no emotion, there is peace. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. There is no passion, there is serenity. There is no chaos, there is harmony. There is no death, there is the Force,' you quoted in your mind realizing you've broken at least half of the five key principles. What a shame it would be if you'd shown your master how much you were guided by your emotions. "I'm sorry master," you said.
Obi-Wan frowned in both confusion and concern. "You're sorry? For what? What is it you can no longer do?" he asked with a calm voice. He was trying hard to hide how much he worried about you right now.
"All of this," you replied. "I made the decision to leave the Jedi order." Out of a sudden, relief flooded your veins as the heavy weight of those words left your soul with every syllable spoken.
Obi-Wan paused. He didn't even realize he forgot to beathe while the shock of your announcement washed over him. "Y/N," he finally managed to press through his lips. "Leaving the Jedi order is a significant decision."
"I know," you replied.
"May I ask why you've come to this conclusion?"
You hesitated. It made you uncomfortable to talk about the reasons. Then again, informing him was the least you could do. You still didn't manage to make eye contact. "I've broken the Jedi principles. Or, to put it better, it gets harder for me to follow them everyday. I can't no longer distract myself from my emotions and act as if I don't feel any affection. My mind starts to think in ways the doctrines of the Jedi dismiss and I'm afraid I'll and up in demise." The tears lingering in your eyes got more but you still managed to hold them back. It was obvious that your master could feel the bunch of emotions cracking through all of these walls you've built up since the beginning of your training. But there was one you could still hide. One particular emotion you hid so well from the outside and the force sensing abilities of the Jedi that you were sure, no matter how many your master could sense, that one particular emotion wasn't one of them.
"Affection, you say?" Your master responded and you nodded. "May I ask what kind of affection troubles you?"
You wish you could say that it was only a deep friendship that guided you to paths different from the force. But it was more. Something way deeper. "It's love," you said.
"Love," Obi-Wan repeated. As he turned his gaze towards the camp fire, you dared to look at him. He was obviously lost in thought. Maybe he was searching for the best response or he was thinking about you, wondering who the person might be that made you struggle this hard you considered to leave the order. "The Force guides us all on unique journeys," he then said. "And there are many that aren't consistent with the Jedi ways. You're correct, affection—especially love—is a bond that leads you on a path in-between dark and light. What could be a strength might at the same time become a weakness. Where love blooms, passion lingers. And where passion lingers, darkness awaits."
You listened to his words. It was the same doctrine you had internalized for years but the way your master chose his words made it sound different this time. You suspected that he hasn't finished his monologue yet so you stood quite, examining his side profile while his attention seemed to be caught be the dancing flames. He in fact hasn't finished yet. "As you should know I won't judge you. It's not your decision if you fall for someone. It's your decision how you deal with it. And if your feelings affect you in a way they could harm you and the Jedi order this might no longer be your journey. So don't be ashamed."
You took a deep breath and turned your gaze to the fire as well. "Thank you," you said and a tear finally released itself from your strong hold and rolled down your cheek.
"For what?"
"For your understanding."
Your master chuckled. "Let me tell you a secret. When I was your age I've been in love as well. Twice. So I know your struggle. But it was my decision to lock those feelings up and stay in the order."
You blinked in shock. Your master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, has once been in love? Well, that was something you would've never expected. But at least he's managed to keep his mind straight. And with that thought you replied: "I don't think I'll ever be able to do the same. It's so hard and the person I'm into is almost always around me." You hesitated, afraid you've said too much. But in the end, it wouldn't matter what you've said the day you announced your decision.
Obi-Wan turned his head to look at you. His blue eyes shimmered in the light of the dancing fire that made his gaze seem even warmer than it already was. "Is it your friend Anakin?" he asked in curiosity and you took a deep breath before you shook your head.
"No. It's not Anakin." And with the words spoken out loud you've finally let the last of all the walls you've built to hide your emotions break into pieces. A warm wave of the force rushed over both of you and the campfire, making it dance uncontrollably fast for a brief moment. You noticed Obi-Wan shift but couldn't certainly say what exactly changed as you allowed him to find out about your feelings for him. Your cheeks immediately turned red and you felt shame rush over you. The emotion behind that wall was the exact reason you wanted to leave. Love for your master, the one who would—and should—never return your feelings. The one who was supposed to care for you, to train you, and who played great value on the Jedi principles. He wasn't even just your master, he was a Jedi master and a member of the high council as well.
Obi-Wan didn't turn his gaze away, his blue eyes now filled with a harsh realization.
Another tear ran down your cheek but you tried your hardest to not look away and keep the eye contact. In the perfect world of your fantasy Obi-Wan would've leaned towards you and captured your lips in a passionate kiss. But this wasn't your fantasy, it was reality. And in reality all he did was sit right in front of you, obviously shocked and speechless—but at the same time comprehending many details of your (probably strange) behaviour in the past. Your stares, the way you laughed particularly often in his presence, you distancing yourself from him after you made a mistake... The ways you've tried to impress him when fighting in battles....
"I'm sorry, Y/N", Obi-Wan finally said with a low voice. He was obviously still speechless.
"I know," you replied with a cracking voice. You still watched his face, his expression, the small wrinkles on his skin that were a subtile proof for the big age difference between you and him. You studied his blue eyes that still kept all of the warmth he's met you with during this conversation. His beard, the neatly cut hair... You tried m to memorize his face as best as you could because soon you'd never see it again....
You shook your head. "No. Please don't say that as if it was your fault. It's mine. And I'm gonna leave as soon as our mission's over."
"It is your decision how you want to spend your life. But I can't offer you what you want."
"I know," you replied with a cracking voice. You still watched his face, his expression, the small wrinkles on his skin that were a subtile proof for the big age difference between you and him. You studied his blue eyes that still kept all of the warmth he's met you with during this conversation. His beard, the neatly cut hair... Everything inside of you screamed for his affection, his love, his heart. You wanted him to touch you, pull you to his chest and kiss you gently. Obi-Wan was everything you've ever wanted and the one thing you'll never get. So you tried to memorize his face as best as you could because soon you'll never see it again....
You wouldn't believe how long Leon has had this one tucked away. Until recently, it had been virtually collecting dust on her procreate app without anyone to admire its craftsmanship. I now have the grand privilege of posting it to our wonderful chaos site 😁 I think you'll all really enjoy the Domino Twins in this 10 panel story! K, that's all, see ya later👋
in another life {d.d}
Tumblr media
plot: you meet the mandalorian when he comes to your home planet and all of a sudden things seem right. that is, until, he has to leave.
character: din djarin x reader
Tumblr media
He truly had thought that he could've started a new life here. He honestly thought that this time things would be different, that they could be safe. Slowly, he began to let his guard down and then they came and destroyed his plans, his hopes and crushed his heart.
For a few months, everything was fine... it was nice. It felt nice to have a place to call home. Din hadn't had that in a long time. For a long, long time, Din had nowhere and no one and then all of a sudden he met the Child and then a short while later, when he came here to this new planet, he met you.
At first, he was cold and distant but you were stubborn (almost as stubborn as himself) and you were persistent. You sought him out, forcing him into letting you help him out as her helped the townspeople do various jobs and tasks. At first, Din was annoyed. He wanted to be left alone. He was annoyed that no matter what he said or did, he couldn't seem to shake you. To make matters worse, the Child loved you; cooing and babbling every time he saw you and you were just too good with him to say no to.
It took a few weeks until Din began to warm up to you and began to laugh at some of the things you'd say. His dry sense of humour was something you liked and he liked making you laugh; the sound of your laughter filled him with an emotion he'd stopped himself from feeling a long time ago - hope.
You were warm and kind and Din smiled secretly every time he saw you approach him. Though you never saw his face you had grown attached to the stubborn Mandalorian and his little green Child. He was different - a mystery and yet you could read him so well. He liked people to think that he didn't care, that he was strong and didn't care about anyone but actually, he cared a lot; he cared almost too much.
He had planned to stay out of the way of everyone but after befriending him, you got him more involved with the town and slowly, you transformed his view of the town. It wasn't just somewhere to hide for a while, no, it became home. He liked the nature around here, the forests being his favourite. He liked the village, the way everyone knew each other and smiled whenever they saw him. He liked you. He had tried to stamp those feelings away, push them down and stomp on them until they went away but it did nothing; in fact it in turn made his feelings for you stronger.
Din wouldn't let himself imagine what a life with you might look like. He wouldn't let himself... until one day, he did.
It was as he was trying to sleep, the heat keeping him awake, that the thoughts of you began to creep into his brain. Din rubbed at his face tiredly, trying to wipe the thoughts away. Nope, not going there. But god, he couldn't stop himself. The thoughts of your laughter, your smile, the way you looked after him and the Child... impure thoughts. His mind began to wonder to what a life with you would look like; showing himself to you, being one with you... He groaned, rolling over and opening his eyes, he was caught up in your web bad and he wasn't sure he wanted out.
He could tell you felt similar for him. The way you smiled, the way you would playfully nudge him, the way you glanced over at him thinking he wasn't looking or playing attention; it became obvious to him the more he fell for you that you were also falling for him.
And just as he was warming to the idea of telling you how he felt, of opening himself up to you... they came for him and the Child.
Carnage befell upon the village. The reinforcements he had put in place held them back but not for long. The fight was long and tiresome and the village lost a lot of people but the one thing that screamed in his mind was your name. He hadn't seen you, hadn't heard anyone call on you... were you alright? Were you hiding? Were you safe? Were you alive?
It was half way through the battle when he saw you, a flash of hair and then you were gone again... That was until he needed you most. He was down on his knees, the Child captured and a blaster to his head and it was you who saved him. He'd actually forgotten that he'd given you a blaster the first week he got here. You had saved him and rescued the Child.
But as you stared down at him, you were crying and he knew why; he had to leave.
"More will be coming," he said as the two of you hurried to his home, "I need to go."
There was a question burning your throat slowly creeping upwards like bile rising. A question that you already knew the answer to but you needed to ask anyway. You managed to contain it until he was gathering his things, various weapons and baskets, to take back to his ship.
"Can I come with you?"
He stopped.
A few seconds passed and he turned, all sense of hurry and urgency lost, "(y/n)..." The tone in which he said your name was your answer; dejected and sad sounding, "It's not a life... It's not safe. I'm sorry."
You stepped to him, "We could make it a life. Yeah it won't be safe and we'd be on the run but... we'd be together."
His heart screamed yes. God, Din had never felt so much pain before as he had to force himself to listen to his head, "Sweetheart..." It was the first time he'd ever shown you any sort of verbal affection and it seemed to destroy you in front of him. Your eyes welled up and your lip wobbled as you desperately pleaded with him to let you come, "I'm not going to destroy your life."
"And yet that's exactly what you're doing, Mando-"
"Din," he cut over you, turning away slightly, "My name is Din Djarin."
You blinked a few times, staring at him, trying to figure him out, "What?"
"Over the last few months, you've got to know me more than anyone's ever come close... You should know my true identity-"
"But the Creed?"
Din gave a bitter chuckle, "What can I say? Over the last few months, I began to picture my life with you, what it would look like, what we would do... Had me rethinking my whole life and my training because I'd give it all up in a heartbeat if you asked me to."
The tears spilled onto your cheeks and Din's heart ached, "So why won't you let me come with you?"
"Maybe in another life." Your heart shattered, crushed under his boot, as the tears poured. You didn't know what to say, didn't know what to do. Din reached out, his gloved hand finding yours, "For what it's worth, I loved the life I conjured up in my head with you." You whimpered, hugging him tightly.
When he let you go, he did something that surprised you - he reached for his helmet to take it off, "What are you doing?"
"You deserve to truly know me; to know who I am."
You shook you head, hand resting on his helmet at the cheek, "I already know you; I don't need to see you to know that... Save it for our other life, Din Djarin... May we meet again." You reached up on your tiptoes to press a kiss at about roughly where his forehead would be and then, he and the Child were gone leaving you alone in his home.
You sat on his bed, crying quietly, as you heard his ship power up and begin its journey. It didn't take long before the noise faded completely and he was gone. It was once he was in hyperdrive that he threw his helmet off to the side, wiping hard at his eyes, "May we meet again."
You fell asleep that night curled in Din's bed and he fell asleep sitting on his chair dreaming of a life that could have been.
Plushie Problem
Tumblr media
Pairing: Starburst (Wrecker x OC: Khea) Warnings: None Tags: Domestic, Modern AU Fluff Word Count: 2.3k Summary: Wrecker and Khea have a problem. A big problem. They've got too many damn plushies.
Tumblr media
You knew your relationship was a good one when the biggest problem you faced as a couple was the fact that there was no room for the both of you in bed due to the sheer amount of stuffed animals you’d been collecting together over the years.
It was a problem that might’ve been rare, but was very much a reality for Khea and Wrecker.
“Damn,” Wrecker muttered with a small frown as he scratched at his stubble and looked down at their extra large Full sized bed that was half covered with stuffed animals; courtesy of their tendency to collect any kind of plushie they came across, if given the opportunity. Already, with Wrecker’s size, they needed a bed big enough to accommodate him, but it was looking like they were going to need to get an upgrade, cut back on stuffed animals, or just save them elsewhere other than the bed if they were both going to continue to fit.
Thankfully, Khea didn’t take up too much space. Already on the smaller side, she tended to sleep curled up in a ball, either wrapped around Wrecker or one of their bigger plushies, so for some time it wasn’t difficult for them to both fit on the bed with their plushies. However, that was nearly half a year ago and now their collection had nearly doubled in size and didn’t seem to be getting any smaller. They had plushies from all over; odd sea creatures from the aquarium, flimsy poor quality ones from fairs and claw machines, cutesy, fluffy ones that were gifts to and from each other on special occasions, and a whole assortment of various others purchased on a whim.
“There we go,” Khea announced with a grin as she came out from behind Wrecker and climbed onto the bed before ceremoniously placing down the djungelskog bear and the snuttig polar bear they’d just gotten from their recent trip to IKEA next to the rest of their plushies.
She sat the snuttig polar bear next to the steadily growing collection of stuffed polar bears she had and put the djungelskog bear in the corner of the bed, up against the wall, next to the rest of their oversized stuffed animals where it sat slumped against the Godzilla plush Wrecker had found at Miniso.
“Now you’re all nice and settled in,” she mused with a grin as she patted the two new bear plushies affectionately, giving them the proper welcome with pets and quick pecks to the tops of their furry heads.
Wrecker couldn’t help but grin at the sight, finding it endearing and cute, especially since it came from Khea who loved to put on the ‘tough girl’ act in front of everyone else. She’d let herself become more vulnerable with others over the years, but Wrecker had yet to see her let his brothers or their partners know that she still slept with stuffed animals and treated them all as if they were actual animals or even children.
It made him not want to bring up the topic of what they should do about the growing plushie problem, knowing Khea would probably tell him that there was no problem and they were fine even if they risked being swallowed alive in their sleep by the mountain of bears, dinosaurs, bunnies and sharks Khea and him had collected over the years. It was a problem, yes, but Wrecker figured there were worst things.
As she dotted over the new additions, Wrecker sat down on the bed, the mattress sagging slightly under his weight, and he grabbed one of the polar bears from Khea’s collection and smiled softly down at it.
It was a polar bear Khea already had in her possession before Wrecker started dating her, but he never asked how or when she got it. He could tell that it was probably from a while ago, as it was lumpy from being hugged so much and had a few crude stitches hand done by Khea here and there, but one thing was for certain; it was loved by her just as every other stuffed animal currently occupying their bed.
It was cute, really. Such a tough and independent woman who was stubborn and reckless as all hell cuddling up with a bunch of plushies at night. When Wrecker first saw her collection he was over the moon and quickly showed her his own collection, eagerly introducing her to all of his own plushies. That was just one of the handful of moments for Khea that had shown her just how right Wrecker was for her while it just made Wrecker love Khea all the more.
“Why do you have so many polar bear plushies anyways?” Wrecker asked, tilting his head with a small smile as he turned his attention away from the plushie and pulled himself out of his thoughts.
She shrugged, fiddling with the ear of a yellow rabbit plush before she scooted over on the bed to get closer to Wrecker. “I like polar bears,” she answered, “They remind me of you.”
“Really? Not a grizzly bear?” Wrecker joked, teasing her with a nudge, “C’mon, I’d like to think I’m pretty grizzly.”
Khea snorted and rolled her eyes. “Sure, I guess that makes sense, but I say polar bear because I think they’re cooler, no pun intended, and cuter!” She grabbed her latest polar bear plushie and held it up to him, as if to say, ‘See, look how cute it is!’
Wrecker laughed and booped the polar bear plushie with his own, making them touch foreheads and making Khea chuckle softly in the process.
“Well, I’ll give you that…these guys are kinda cute,” Wrecker agreed with a nod.
“Right? And, besides, polar bears are the largest type of bear, they can get up to nine feet in height when they stand up on their hind legs,” She informed, pulling the plushie into her lap as she gave its cheeks a squish while Wrecker bit back the need to call her a nerd for knowing such a fact.
“And since you’re a big guy, I just put two and two together,” she shrugged, her reasoning making Wrecker chuckle softly in amusement.
“Okay, but I’m not white, e ipo,” Wrecker pointed out with a teasing grin, wanting to joke around with her some more.
“Thank god, you aren’t,” Khea replied with a fake sigh of relief and shake of her head as she put the plushie aside. “I’d be disowned by my family if you were,” she joked, shooting Wrecker a playful look which made him laugh and roll his eyes.
“Really?” Wrecker snorted, raising an eyebrow at her with a small smirk. “Your family is like that?”
Khea shrugged and nodded, “Yeah, but like hell I’d be with a white guy or girl, for that matter. So I don’t have to worry about them disowning me.”
Wrecker laughed and rolled his eyes, giving Khea a playful nudge. He knew how Khea felt about white people, with them being people of color in Texas, they had their fair share of less than ideal encounters with them; but Khea just had dealt with more being half Mexican and having grown up in Texas versus Wrecker who only moved there later on in life. Even still, it was amusing to see her get worked up like this sometimes.
“C’mon, they aren’t all bad,” he defended with a teasing grin, “I don’t think dating one would be that terrible.”
“Oh yeah? You think so?” Khea chuckled, raising an eyebrow as she turned to look at Wrecker, her hands on her lips as she jutted her lip out in a mocking pout as if observing to see whether or not he was joking or being serious.
When she determined he seemed to be serious she laughed and shook her head, putting up her hands in mock surrender as she got up from the bed.
“Fine, suit yourself. Have fun eating cabbage soup and…hamburger helpers and casseroles,” she teased with a giggle, “Say goodbye to 삼겹살, 김밥, enchiladas and just…spices and spicy food in general.”
Wrecker burst out laughing and rolled his eyes before scooping Khea up in his arms in a bear hug as he brought her back down onto the bed, making Khea exclaim and then laugh in amusement as she pretended to get away from him.
“What?!” She asked between giggles, half-heartedly trying to push Wrecker away.
“I know you’re only dating me because I’ve got easy access to good cuisine. The best in the world actually. Y’know, right next to Indian food,” Khea joked with a grin, her mouth already watering at the mere thought of goat curry.
Wrecker rolled his eyes as he laid her back down on the bed and got settled in right next to her, laying on his side as she laid on her back, his cheeks flushed and his jaw hurting slightly from laughing and smiling.
“I’m not just dating you for your food, y’know?” Wrecker asked as he grabbed one of her polar bear plushies and playfully hit her with it.
“I know,” Khea confirmed with a nod before snatching up the polar bear and bringing it close to her chest as she nuzzled it, “But you might as well be.”
Wrecker snorted and grabbed another polar bear from the pile before turning on his back as well, the two of them squeezing together as best they could as their mountain of plushies threatened to bury them under.
He hummed in response as he began to toss the bear in the air and catch it, smiling softly to himself as he thought about Khea’s words. He was glad she didn’t take these jabs or jokes personally, earlier in the relationship would’ve been a different story as Khea always thought Wrecker had ulterior motives for trying to get with her, but now she knew just how much he loved and cared for her to the point where these jokes didn’t make her self-conscious or wary.
“Okay, yeah,” Wrecker nodded in agreement, catching the polar bear once more, “The food’s pretty good. It’s a good bonus. Not why I’m dating you though.”
“Sure,” Khea responded sarcastically with a grin as she rolled over onto her stomach, her arms still wrapped around the plushie.
“If not the cuisine then it’s because of my super mega awesome awe-inspiring stuffed animal collection, huh?” She joked with a grin, wiggling her eyebrows playfully.
Wrecker couldn’t help but laugh, shaking his head as he shifted so he could kiss Khea’s forehead. “Mmh, yeah, no it was definitely for that reason,” he teased with a hum, grinning as he pulled away and sat back up.
Khea faked a gasp and mocked a look of surprise before exclaiming, “I knew it!”
With a snort, Wrecker pulled Khea up into his arms again, shaking his head as he grinned and nuzzled up into her neck.
“You’re so silly, taku aroha,” he chuckled, kissing her neck softly, “Yeah, I saw your big ol collection of polar bears and thought, ‘Wow, I’ve got to get into her pants.’”
“Oh, shut up,” Khea snickered, rolling her eyes as she pulled away and put the polar bear plushie between them.
Wrecker chuckled softly and pulled away, giving the plushie a kiss too for good measure before he playfully squeezed Khea with a grin.
“But how do I know that you didn’t start dating me because I reminded you of your favorite animal?” He asked with a hum, tilting his head as he pretended to give her an accusatory look.
Khea’s eyes widened a bit and her cheeks went a little flushed at his question. She quickly looked away, opening and closing her mouth as she tried to come up with some kind of response but found herself at a loss for words.
While that wasn’t entirely true, she didn’t eventually start dating him because he reminded her of a polar bear, but now that he mentioned it…Did she? Was that another reason why it was easy to love him unlike any other partner before him?
“That’s…that’s ridiculous,” Khea huffed, shaking her head as she glanced back at Wrecker who was grinning in amusement.
“It was after I started dating you that I started to associate you with polar bears,” she explained, trying to defend herself, “You’re just trying to tease.”
“Maybe,” Wrecker chuckled with a shrug, “but I still think I should be a grizzly bear.”
A laugh slipped past Khea’s lips as she rolled her eyes fondly at Wrecker and traded the plushie in her hands for Wrecker’s cheeks as she gently cupped his face.
“Hmmm…Okay, okay, fine, maybe you’re more like a Kodiak bear,” she responded with a small smile, “they’re pretty big too, second largest actually, and they’re a subspecies of the brown bear so you can be brown and grizzly, I guess…”
“So…” Wrecker started with a smirk, finding it amusing how much his girlfriend knew about different animals, “why don’t you have more plushies of a Kodiak bear then?”
“Cuz I’ve got my own right here,” Khea replied with a grin, squeezing Wrecker’s cheeks.
Wrecker laughed softly and shook his head fondly before flashing Khea a teasing and playful grin, “Nah, just admit you like the white bear better.”
“Wrecker!”
Wrecker broke out into a fit of laughter as Khea wrestled him into their pile of stuffed animals, knocking them out of place and surrounding the two as they laughed and rolled around in their bed. A plushie pillow fight hadn’t been on the agenda for the evening, but neither of them were complaining. The mess they’d have to clean up afterward was a problem for future Khea and Wrecker.
As of right now, they were going to have some fun.
A good Feeling
Ezra Bridger x fem!Jedi!reader Part II
Word count:2.9k
Warnings: !SPOILERS! for Ahsoka Ep. 7, minor injuries, canon typical violence
Summary:After finally seeing Ezra again, You barely have Time to celebrate, as Thrawn and his goons are still hot on your tail…
A/N: Decided to make this into a series, so here is Part II :)
Part I , Part II (you are here)
Masterlist
Tumblr media
Merely a day had passed, since You and Sabine arrived on Peridea. The sky was still tinted in a cold gray and the landscape looked exactly as uninviting as before. The only thing alive seemed to be the small tribe of hermits that had led you to Ezra.
Speaking of the young Jedi, he had decided that it would be safer to get moving again and so you were back on Tota the Howler, protecting the little flock from the back, while Ezra and Sabine lead them upfront.
You watched from afar, how the two of them talked. Sabine was probably catching Ezra up on what had happened in the last ten years. You were happy to see the two of them talking so freely again.
While the first few hours after your arrival were filled with hugs and small kisses between You and Ezra, you had realized that him and Sabine deserved some time to talk alone too. They had known each other much longer and were like Siblings to each other.
Your thoughts were interrupted by a strange feeling that spread within you. A feeling of dread and restlessness. You turned around for a second, looking out for something. Anything, that might have caused this feeling.
And then it was gone.
And a new feeling arose. A familiar feeling. The presence of a person. A Person close to you. You let your eyes flutter shut and concentrated on that feeling, pulling it closer and closer, until it felt like you could almost stretch out your hand and touch it. And then, all of a sudden, you heard it loud and clear. Saw it before your inner eye.Felt the fabric of her clothes under your touch. Her smell that you had known so well from combating against her.
It was Ahsoka. She was calling out to you and Sabine.
Immediately, you grabbed the leash of the Howler tighter, making your way towards Ezra and Sabine.
“You felt it too, didn't you?”, You asked, upon reaching the two. Ezra only gave you a confused glance, but Sabine nodded.
“It was Ahsoka.”, she said plainly, “She's alive.”
You couldn't help the grin that spread over your face. Ahsoka was alive and she was on her way to you.
You didn't have time to answer, as the small shuttles of the Noti surrounding you suddenly came to a halt and several of the small hermits pointed towards the hill, located in front of you. You followed their gaze and spotted two small figures standing on top of said hill. Upon seeing the two of them, the feeling of dread you had felt earlier returned.
“They have been following us.”, You said, looking over to Ezra and Sabine.
“Friends of Yours?”, Ezra asked, looking back and forth between Sabine and You.
“No.”, Sabine said coldly and you couldn't agree more with her. You weren't exactly keen on facing Baylan and Shin again, after how your last fight with them ended.
You watched how Ezra slowly turned his shuttle around, directing the flock the other way, away from Baylan and Shin. You followed close behind, but had your eyes still on the two Sith standing on the hill.
“We're having company”, you yelled, as the flock gained speed again. But it was useless. Shin and her group of murderous nomads were close on your heels.
You watched as Sabine grabbed both of her blasters and started shooting at the nomads. You nodded at her and let yourself fall back, as you grabbed your lightsaber to deflect the enemy fire.
While you were busy protecting the Noti shuttles, you saw from the corner of your eye how one of the Nomads was closing his distance towards you.
“You gotta stay real still for me, okay Tota?”,You mumbled to your Howler, as you let the leash fall out of your hands. You continued acting like you didn't notice the nomad sneaking up on you, but when he was about to attack you, you quickly jumped up, aiming your lightsaber at him.
Merely a second later, you landed securely on the back of the howler where the nomad had been sitting just a few seconds ago. But he was now laying on the soft grass behind you, a hole in his chest.
But the moment of victory only lasted a few seconds, as the Blaster fire of the other nomads was directed at you again, after they realized what you had done to their comrade.
“Tota!?”, You yelled out to your Howler. Upon hearing your voice, they immediately ran over to you, ready to be mounted by you again.
“Good Howler.”, You mumbled, as you jumped onto Tota´s back again. You deflected the incoming shots as good as you could, pushing a nomad off of their Howler here and there. But as you saw one of the shuttles malfunction and crashing to the ground, You quickly grabbed Tota´s leash, slowing the Howler down. You quickly jumped to the ground, as you saw the rest of the flock turn around, coming back for the shuttle.
“Are you alright? Is everyone okay?!”, You quickly asked, waving at the Noti. You didn't understand a word they said, but they seemed fine, so you just gave them a thumbs up.
You watched how Ezra directed the rest of the flock back to where you were standing next to the broken shuttle. The nomads were following close behind and started to circle you, as all the shuttles came to a halt.
“Get inside. I'll handle this.”, Ezra said to the Noti and they followed his directions without much hesitation.
You quickly jogged over to him and Sabine, your lightsaber still drawn and resting in the palm of your hand, as the nomads were still very much surrounding you.
But you couldn't help the smile that rose to your face, as you recognized the familiar outlines of Ahsoka´s ship quickly closing in on your position.
“You two alright?”, you questioned, looking up at Ezra and Sabine. Both of them nodded quickly, but upon following Ezra´s gaze, you saw that Shin and what seemed to be the leader of the nomads, were now making their way over to you.
“Who´s that?”, Ezra asked, looking down at you for answers.
“She's like you, but lacks your sense of humor.”, You described Shin for him. Looking back at her, the young Sith apprentice was staring holes in your head, like she wanted to kill you right then and there.
Ezra nodded at your answer,”Lightsaber?”he asked, not taking his eyes off Shin.
“Oh yeah.”, Sabine tuned in. You slightly winced at her annoyed tone, as you remembered the injury she had suffered from an attack by Shin.
“Great.”, Ezra mumbled, clearly understanding the emotions Sabine and You had towards Shin,”We better get ready.”
You watched how the leader of the Nomads lifted his spear into the air, shouting in a language you didn't understand, while Ezra and Sabine made their way out of the shuttle and over to where you were standing already.
“You okay?”, Ezra asked, slightly touching your forearm. You nodded at him, giving him a warm smile, before turning back around.
The nomads were now closing in on you. You calculated that your odds were about even.
“What´s the plan?”, Ezra asked, glazing over to you and Sabine.
“She only pulled out her lightsaber, wanting to hand it to Ezra:”You and Y/n. Do your thing.”
“What thing?”; Ezra asked, about as confused as you.
“Your lightsaber. Take it”, Sabine explained, her eyes still locked on the enemy.
Ezra pursed his lips at that:”You keep it.”
A small smile spread on your lips, upon hearing his words. This was so typical for Ezra. He always did something unexpected.
“I don't need it.”, Ezra explained further,”Besides, you´ve been training.”
“Very funny.”, Sabine mocked, still holding the lightsaber out to him.
Ezra only repeated himself:”No, I´m serious.”
“Take it.”, Sabine persisted, slightly slapping the lightsaber against his chest.
But Ezra refused again:”I gave it to you, it´s yours now.”
“At least take a blaster.”, Sabine groaned, but Ezra only grinned at her:”No, the Force is my ally. That´s all I need.”
“For God´s sake! Are you two finished?!”, You finally butted in, spinning around and cutting straight through a nomad that had been sneaking up on Ezra and Sabine,”Now is not the time for Talking!”
“Sabine started it!”, You heard Ezra yell, as the three of you dispersed into different directions.
You rolled your eyes at him, a small smile pulling at the corner of your lips, as you engaged another enemy that rounded a corner in front of you. It took only a few swings from your lightsaber before he was down.
You kept moving around the shuttles, looking for the nomads, as you heard Sabine near you,”I did not start it!”, she answered to Ezra´s previous statement.
“You two are like children!”, You exclaimed, as you took a stance back to back with Sabine, fighting off the few Nomads that had surrounded you.
From the corner of your eye, you saw a Nomad that was about to jump Ezra from behind. You quickly stepped forward, reaching out your hand to use the force to send him flying towards the nearest shuttle.
Upon hearing the Nomad crash to the ground, Ezra quickly turned around. As he spotted you, he gave you a soft smile. But you had no time to return it, as You felt a sharp graze your shoulder and you quickly jumped back, raising your lightsaber in defense.
The Nomad that had attacked you wasted no time and jumped at you, his spear raised over his head in an attempt to stab you. But before you could do anything, the Nomad was thrown against a Noti Shuttle, just like his comrade a few seconds ago.
Your gaze lingered on his unconscious body for a second, before you looked up and saw Ezra sprinting towards you.
“Are you okay?”, he quickly asked, his gaze directed towards the small cut on your shoulder.
“I´m fine. Thank you, Ezra.”, You smiled and leaned up to quickly press a kiss to his cheek. The boy´s grin only got wider, but your small moment was interrupted, as you saw Shin behind Ezra coming closer.
“Look Out!”, You shouted and pulled Ezra away by his arm, as Shin swung her lightsaber at him.
A hand flew to Ezra's hair, as he grabbed a strand that had been grazed by Shin´s lightsaber.
“Close.”, he mumbled before jumping at her. You watched in awe how he managed to push her off, before also joining into the battle. Right as Ezra dodged one of Shin´s attacks, you stopped in, her lightsaber colliding with yours, as you pushed her back. The look of surprise that she gave you was unforgettable.
You continued to fight together with Ezra, as You suddenly saw Sabine from the corner of your eye. She had drawn her lightsaber and joined your battle against Shin, swinging at her with full speed. Upon realizing that she now had to fight with three Jedi, two of them with lightsabers, Shin took a step back.
“It´s not looking good for you.”, Ezra stated the obvious. But he was interrupted as you could see several troop carriers closing in on you.
“We need to take her, now!”, Sabine exclaimed. Ezra nodded and was about to attack, but this time, Shin was faster and sent him flying against one of the shuttles.
“Ezra!?”, You yelled, but he wasn't reacting. You hoped that he was just unconscious and turned back around, locking eyes with sabine. the Mandalorian nodded at you and together you stepped forward to attack Shin together. The Sith managed to dodge your attacks, but you were able to slowly push her back, until you realized that Ezra had gotten up again and joined your side once more.
The fight stopped as you realized that Storm Troopers had surrounded you and each and every one of them was pointing their weapon at you three.
“Destroy them.”, Shin finally ordered and you heard the safety of all blasters around you lock off.
“Wait!Wait!Wait!”, Ezra yelled, lifting his hands to the air,”We could…talk. Or we could just…We…Don´t you wanna take us as prisoners? As Prisoners?”, He pointed his hand at Shin like that would help in any way.
But she didn't seem amused at all, her face was not showing any sign of emotion, as she yelled:”Fire!”, towards the troopers.
But they didn't have the chance to do so, as three of them were thrown off their feet and flung across the field. Mere seconds later, a Howler approached your group and from their back, Ahsoka jumped in front of you, her lightsabers drawn, ready to fight.
You, Sabine and Ezra quickly looked at each other, before dispersing into the field again, while Ahsoka took on Shin.
You saw Ahsoka´s ship flying above you, probably steered by Huyang, as you started fighting against the Troopers. It wasn´t particularly hard to take them down, the problem was the number of them. They attacked you from every corner possible.
You were in the middle of a fight against three Troopers that had been shooting on you for a few minutes, while you tried to get closer to them, as they suddenly stopped and started to retreat. Rounding the closest corner, you joined the rest of your team again. Shin was standing in front of Ahsoka, clearly surprised by the sudden order to retreat.
“Surrender your weapon. I can help you.”, Ahsoka ordered calmly. Shin only looked up at her, the fear on her face as clear as day. But instead of following Ahsoka´s orders, Shin turned around and ran off to her Howler.
“Ahsoka.”, Sabine finally said after a few seconds of silence. Ahsoka turned around and smiled at her apprentice.
“I thought you were dead.”, Sabine explained, sadness lacing her voice.
But Ahsoka only smiled, clicking her tongue:”And miss this reunion?”
She  looked over to Ezra, who also had a smile on his face, before the two shared a heartfelt hug. As the two parted, Ahsoka looked up to Ezra and a genuine laugh left her lips.
After a few seconds, Ezra turned around towards Sabine and You:”Wait, you thought she was dead?”
“Clearly. We were wrong.”, Sabine answered, with a smile on her face. You only grinned, raising your hand to pat her shoulder:”I´m glad, we were.”
The sound of Huyang landing the ship behind the four of you, interrupted your little conversation as you all turned around.
Your gaze wandered over to one of the Noti, that had left their shuttle and waddled over to Ezra. Right behind them was Tota, who upon seeing you, Immediately ran over to you, rubbing the snout against your hand.
“Hey Tota.”, You mumbled and petted the Howler, as you watched Ezra reassure the small hermit;”Hey, it's okay. These are friends. All friends.”
You looked around you, as all of the other Noti now also started to come out of their shuttles, chattering away about God knows what.
Yeah, this feeling was pretty fucking great, you decided.
“Guys. I´m getting a feeling.”, Ezra finally said,”I think I might be going home after all. "
You smiled at him, patting his shoulder, as the four of you gazed back towards Ahsoka´s ship.
Bonus:
A small squeal left your lips, as you suddenly felt Ezra´s arms wrap around you in a tight hug. You didn't have any time to react before, he pulled you off your feet spinning you around in circles.
“Ezra!”, You scolded him, your hands resting on his shoulders for support, but You could only hear his beautiful laugh in response, before the two of you toppled to the ground.
You could hear the laughs of Ahsoka and Sabine behind you, as you finally looked up. You realized that you were laying on top of Ezra. The jedi was of course already looking at you, his hands resting on your hips.
“I saw you fight today.”, he mumbled, only for you to hear,”You were awesome. You´ve really improved.”
“So have you.”, You chuckled, quickly pecking his lips, before slowly setting up again.
You saw a small blush creep up ezra´s neck, as he sat up next to you.
“We should take care of your shoulder”, He said pointing at the small scratch on your shoulder.
“It's just a scratch.”; You tried to dismiss him, but Ezra had already stood up again, holding his hand out to you.
“No excuses.”, he said sternly as he pulled you to your feet.
“Come on.”, You heard Ahsoka say, as she lightly patted Sabine´s shoulder,”Let´s give the lovebirds some time alone.”
You felt the heat rise to your cheeks, as Sabine gave you a smirk, before following Ahsoka towards her ship.
“Shall we?”, Ezra asked after a few seconds of silence. You turned to look at him and saw that he held his hand out towards you.
“Always.”, You smiled before grabbing his hand and letting him lead you to one of the Noti shuttles, to take care of your shoulder.
Jealousy and Principles (Obi-Wan x reader)
Pairings: Obi-Wan x GenderNeutral!Reader
Warnings/Tags: Jealousy, light swearing, dispute
Summary: The reader is a former Jedi who's left the order many years ago! You and Obi-Wan are on a mission to obtain information from a high-ranking Separatist. In a cantina, which according to rumors is supposed to be his retreat, you decide to use advantage of your flirty skills which awakes jealousy in Obi-Wan.
Words: 1.4k
A/n: This is my first Obi-Wan x reader one shot. English isn't my first language so I'm sorry for any possible grammar or spelling mistakes! But I hope you enjoy it and let me know if you're interested in a part two!
~~~~~~~~~~
Thick, hot air hit you as you and Obi-Wan entered the cantina. The noise of loud voices talking over one another, laughing, and loudly clinking drinks was a stark contrast to the quiet outside on the near-empty streets of the small town on the Outer Rim planet you visited. You and Obi-Wan had a mission to complete, as there were rumors that this cantina was the home retreat of a high-ranking Separatist who was hiding information useful to the Republic.
“I think we should order a drink,” you said as you and Obi-Wan sat down at a table in one of the corners of the room.
Obi-Wan's eyebrows furrowed critically. But before he could say anything, you continued. "To blend in with the other guests."
Obi-Wan nodded in understanding. He didn't seem too keen on the idea because he knew you were someone who was likely to take a look too deeply into the glass. But after all, you were undercover. Disguised in civilian clothing, you might look like ordinary citizens but anyone who sat in a cantina without drinking anything gave a questionable impression—at least to the staff.
You looked around and raised your hand as you made eye contact with one of the waiter droids. His cylindrical form rolled towards your table and made a loud beeping noise.
“Two of those blue drinks, please,” you ordered and the droid beeped again and then rolled away.
"That guy over there with the gray jacket and the beard. That must be him," Obi-Wan stated, pointing with his chin at a small group of humans and aliens chatting and enjoying their drinks.
You followed his nod and located the group he was talking about. Your eyes scanned every single face, not only to identify the target, but also to check out his companions. They seemed inconspicuous. Like normal civilians. It was the same disguise you and Obi-Wan wore. But since you and Obi-Wan had both saved an image of the Separatist on your data pads, you knew exactly that this man, sitting in a group like a normal person, was unmistakably the target you were looking for.
"He looks much more attractive in real life than in the photo," you said jokingly, your eyes not leaving your target's frame. Tob be honest, he was surprisingly handsome. What a shame he was one of the bad guys, you thought.
By staring at the strange man, you didn't notice Obi-Wan grimacing. "I don't think that-" he started, but was interrupted by the arrival of the beeping waiter droid that brought your drinks.
“Thank you,” you smiled at the little droid as you took your drinks from his tray. They were way bigger than expected. Not as usual as in a small glass, but more like a whole cocktail. With a shallow smile on your lips, you toasted Obi-Wan and took the first sip. Your throat immediately burned as the strong liquid ran down your esophagus and you immediately felt even warmer than you already were in the hot canteen. Then your gaze slid back to the separatist and his handsome face. And that's exactly what gave you an idea. "I know how we can get information out if him," you stated.
Obi-Wan took his glass to his mouth as he listened.
“I’m going to seduce him,” you explained.
Obi-Wan paused his sip, on the verge of choking. “Excuse me?” he asked incredulously, feeling his heart beat going faster.
"You heard me right. If there's one thing that can influence a man, it's a charismatic, stupidly-faithful Y/G."
Obi-Wan, far from enthusiastic about the idea, didn't respond. The tension in him was obvious, but you didn't notice. You were far too convinced that your plan would be successful.
"Y/N-," Obi-Wan began, but by then you were already standing up, pushing the empty chair to the table and walking over to the Separatist.
Obi-Wan sighed. Clutching his drink tightly, he took a sip and watched you on the way to that man. He couldn't quite explain what he was feeling as he observed from a distance as you sat down next to the target and engaged in a flirtatious conversation. He struggled to reconcile the mission's necessity with the unsettling feeling that gnawed at his core. All of this felt so wrong to him. In many ways. Of course he was aware of the fact that you weren't a Jedi and haven't been for many years. So the rules of the order didn't apply to you. But the uncharted territory of your alliance collided with the principles deeply ingrained in his Jedi upbringing and his jaw tightened.
The melody of your hauntingly enchanting voice reached Obi-Wan's ears. He wasn't able to understand a single word you said from his distance so his mind made up it's own conversation between you and the separatist that was both exaggerated and also not very unlikely to happen. After all, Obi-Wan knew who you were and what you were capable of.
His chest hurt in a way it never hurt before as a feeling of jealousy covered his senses. Shocked by his own thought he took nother sip from his drink, his hand trembling as he reached for the glass. He wasn't jealous. He couldn't be. His inner conflict definitely had to have something to do with his Jedi principles and your inappropriate behavior.
Obi-Wan watched you lean far towards the target. A seductive smile on your face underlined the shimmer of excitement in your eyes. You seemed to be truly interested in the separatist's narration, in a way that exceeded the whole idea of the mission and your attempt to seduce information out of him. And the Jedi fcking hated it.
It felt like the whole night has passed when you finally stood up from your seat next to the separatist and strolled back to Obi-Wan.
"I was successful," you said with a slight smile on your face, your cheeks still red from the flirty conversation.
Obi-Wan, who still suffered from the echo of that awful wrenching feeling in his guts, didn't give any attention to what you just said. Instead he took a deep breath and shot his blue eyes to yours. "Was that really necessary?" he asked with a bitter tone underlining his voice.
"What do you mean?" you replied confused not understanding what was wrong with your success.
Obi-Wan stared at you with a cold expression and a feeling of discomfort and concern awoke deep inside your chest. "The flirting."
You blinked twice as you stated at him with confusion and before you were able to open your mouth Obi-Wan continued his examination. "This was not the Jedi way. You just broke the code in one of the most inappropriate ways possible and went against the most important of my Jedi principles."
The moment his words entered your brain the feeling of concern turned into anger. "Are you kidding me?" you replied harshly. "I just degraded myself by flirting with one of our biggest enemies and you're sitting here being displeased by my practices instead of being satisfied with the outcome? I'm not a Jedi, Obi-Wan!"
"But you've been a Jedi before," Obi-Wan stated.
You took s sharp breath, furious because of his absolutely dim-witted stubbornness. "And?What's the point of your arguments? I've left the order years ago and you, out of everyone, should know best that I don't give a damn shit about neither the code nor the Jedi principles!"
"And that's exactly the problem!" Obi-Wan replied, his voice becoming louder. You saw a flash of anger in his eyes and felt even more offended by his audacity to criticize you for breaking a code you don't follow while he, in the exact same minute, did the same by letting himself be guided by his emotions.
You took a deep breath before calming your voice to a level that reflected both your weariness towards this conversation and your feeling of disappointment because of the ungratefulness the Jedi confronted you with. "You knew exactly what I am when we started our alliance."
With those words you left the cantina ans entered the darkness of a starless night. You felt like even talking to a wall would have a more productive outcome than this conversation. Obi-Wan was supposed to be a good friend of yours but right now your efforts don't seem to be appreciated. And it also doesn't seem like he truly accepts you for who you are.

Like I mentioned, I was talking to @me-myself-and-my-fos about Anakin hugs and it’s got me...all soft about it ;///; cause I don’t think I’ve ever seen him hug anyone other than Padme, but I like to think I’m the exception! Sometimes you just need a best friend hug, and I’ve been told I give great ones! Sometimes when he’s stressed or overwhelmed a hug is just what he needs, and safe, comfortable physical touch from someone you trust can actually be so personal.
The first pic is one of those times he just needs a little comfort, and the second one I imagined being our first hug after reuniting during the battle of Geonosis in AOTC!

Obi-Wan, You Are My Father {Obi-Wan Kenobi}
Tumblr media
Plot: When trying to rescue the young Princess Leia, Obi-Wan finds a woman claiming to be his daughter.
Character: Obi-Wan Kenobi x Reader
Requested by @gatefleet: I hope you like it! :) x
Your hands found that oh so familiar photograph that you kept tucked in your jacket pocket at all times. It was the only photo you had of your father, a grainy slightly blurred photograph of him and your mother. You barely knew anything about your father, your mother never shared much. She always told you that he was off on a far away planet helping others and that was it. You didn't know his name or what he sounded like, you didn't know what height he was or what his personality was like. It always felt like a part of you was missing, a part of you longing to know where you came from and who your father was. Your thumb brushed over his smile before you pocketed the photo and set about your day.
The day was anything but exciting. It was the normal schedule; go to work, have lunch, finish your shift, come home, make dinner for you and your mother and then sleep. It was a mundane life but it was your life. It started smooth, you arrived to work early getting a head start on the cleaning and tidying when all of a sudden a dark presence burst into your shop.
"Oh sorry, we're not open ye-" Your words got caught in your throat as you saw the Grand Inquisitor striding into your small shop with two of his men, "C-Can I help you?" Nerves bubbled in your stomach, you had nothing to hide but they had a very ominous presence.
The Grand Inquisitor cleared his throat, "We are searching for a highly skilled, highly dangerous Jedi... You don't happen to know of their whereabouts, do you?"
You shook your head, "I didn't know there were any Jedi left so no, I don't."
He eyed you curiously before tutting, "Shame. If you see any strange behaviour, I have my officers posted every few blocks."
They were about to turn to leave when you said, "If you have a photograph or something I might be able to hang it in the window?"
He paused, pulling something from his pocket before sliding it across the table to you face down, "Do get one of my guards if you see anything."
You had been about to lift the paper when they'd left and in walked a customer, "Are you open?" The older woman asked.
"I-" you weren't, you'd be open in twenty five minutes but she was already here so you sighed, "Yeah, sure. Come on in."
It was around an hour later when you'd finished serving a customer that you'd accidentally caused the piece of paper to fall off of the counter, "Oh here you go," the man said, picking it up for you, "Oh that's the missing Jedi. I hear he'd evaded capture for decades."
"Decades, huh?" You asked, raising your eyebrows as you took the paper from him. The man turned and left leaving the shop empty. It was then that you finally looked at it and you gasped. Staring back up at you was a picture of the man your mother swore was your father.
Obi-Wan Kenobi.
You hadn't heard the name before. Your mother told you that his name was a secret which aligned with him evading the Empire, his name would've had to be a secret. He looked older in this picture, of course he did it had been twenty years since they other photo was taken, but in your mind you'd kept him ageless and now here he was, with frown lines and eyebags. It threw you off, making you feel an emotion that you couldn't place. You weren't sad, you weren't scared and you weren't nervous and yet you were all three at the same time.
Did that mean that your father - this Obi-Wan Kenobi - was in your town? You could only presume so. Quickly you gathered your belongings and headed out of the shop, placing a 'BACK SOON' sign on the door before locking it. This was your one chance to see him, to meet him. The city was littered with Stormtroopers. It was unnerving to see so many of them with so many weapons. Your father was a wanted man but you were going to find him first before anyone else did. All you knew about him was that he was a Jedi, did that mean that you had Jedi powers? You weren't sure, you'd surely find out.
If I was a wanted Jedi, where would I hide?
You closed your eyes, taking a deep breath. You didn't know what you were doing but you thought that it was worth a try. You focussed, listening to the hustle and bustle of the city, before your head turned to the left and you were staring down a long dark alleyway, "I'd go the back route," you whispered.
Making sure that no one saw you, you slid down the alleyway as quietly as you could. At the end of the alley, it branched in two directions. Something burned inside of you telling you to go left and then up? You found a ladder attached to one of the backs of the buildings and you began to climb. Heights wasn't something you really enjoyed but right now you didn't care.
As you climbed over the last rung of the ladder, a flash of green swung by you and you narrowly avoided it with a squeal, "I just want to talk!" You held your hands up as you stared into the face of your father, "I-I just want to talk, I promise!"
"Who are you?" His voice was cold.
"I'm not the enemy, I swear. I just want to talk to you-"
"How did you find me?"
"I... I don't really know to be honest."
He frowned at you, "Why do you want to talk to me?"
"I-I think that you're my father." Your voice was quiet and your heart hammered in your chest as you said it. He pulled a face, one of 'what on earth is going on'.
"I do not have time for this. Whatever you want, you cannot have. I simply do not have time." He swatted the air with his hand, "Whatever ploy this was is stupid." He went to step down the ladder when you cut him off.
"Obi-Wan Kenobi," your voice was loud, not loud enough to alert any guards or anyone but loud enough to stop him dead in his tracks, "you are my father."
He turned to you, frowning deeply, and was about to dismiss your claim when he noticed you were holding a photo; the photo that had been taken twenty some years ago... The photo of your mother and father. He stepped away from the ladder, frowning at the photo.
"How did you get this?" He asked, hand instinctively moving to his hip where his saber sat, "Did Anakin send you?"
"Who's Anakin?" You asked confused, "I am not the enemy here, I'm just a girl wanting to know where she came from." He eyed you curiously, almost waiting for you to pull out a blaster and shoot him. Life hadn't been kind to him, you could see that his eyes were sad and haunted. He didn't speak so you continued, "I got this photo from my mother. Do you know who that is?" You point to your younger mother.
He nods, "Yes. I do." He stepped closer, hand still hovering over his saber, but he moved closer to peer at the photograph as he drank it in. He'd almost forgotten about those days, they seemed to happen so long ago. It was almost like he was looking at a ghost of himself, he barely recognised that young man in the pictures now.
"That is my mother," you said quietly, tapping next to her face, "and that is you."
"But-" he looked to you, "it cannot be. When I left..."
"You left when she was one month gone, she wouldn't have been showing then. She told me she didn't find out that she was pregnant until she was three months gone and then it was too late to contact you, she had no idea of your real name... of where you were."
He stared at you and then at the photo and then back at you as the cogs in his head turned. Could it really be? He lifted his head to look at you as though trying to scan for similarities between you and him, "You have your mother's eyes," he said softly.
"And my father's smile, she always told me."
Obi-Wan smiles, "How did she know that I am your- that you are my-" he couldn't quite finish the thought, still in disbelief.
"She said that she never loved a man again. It was you, just you, no one else." You smiled sadly, "I always caught her late at night staring out at the stars and I knew that she was searching for you, hoping that you'd return to her someday."
"Your mother, is she..?"
"Passed on a year ago."
"Oh." His eyes were misty, full of tears as he stared at the photo. The memories flooded back to him, her touch, her love... "Had I known- Had I known that she was with child, I would've- I wouldn't have left." He was being sincere, he wouldn't have left her; he would've stayed.
"Why did you leave?" You asked.
"That other bit of paper in your hand," he gestured to your left hand which held the scrunched up missing person poster, "I am an enemy of the Empire. They've searched for decades for me and they are continuing to do so." An explosion was heard from the town centre, "They will continue to destroy the city if they do not find me." He turned to you, hand reaching out to take yours before he thought better and snatched his hand away, "You must leave here. Pack up your things and go far away, head East."
"Where will you go?" You ask, voice concerned, "What kind of life is it to be on the run?"
"A dangerous one," he frowned, "I have to find my friend and then I'm getting her home. You must do as I say, it's not safe here anymore... If they found out that you are my- that you're my daughter, they'd kill you. Flee." He glanced back at the city, "I have to go."
"Take me with you!" It was a desperate sort of plea that came from your mouth. You didn't even think about saying it until it was already out in the air. Obi-Wan's mouth opened and then shut so you continued, "I have no purpose here. My mother is dead," he winced, "I have no ties to this planet I call home."
"It is too dangerous." He shook his head, turning away, "I must go."
"Father please!" Tears well in your eyes as you beg him, "Do not leave me here to die like she did. Teach me how to protect myself, teach me how to help you... Take me with you. You're the only family I have." He closed his eyes and breathed, slow and deep. He was torn; torn between leaving you, his only kin, and taking you and potentially risking your life. You seemed to read his thoughts, "My life is in danger either way. I stay here, they might find out and kill me. I go, they might find me and kill me. Either way there will always be danger."
After a painfully long minute, he turned to you and nodded, "Okay," he sighed, "You can come with me but we have to hurry..." He frowned. He didn't know your name yet, "It just occurred to me that I do not know your name."
"(y/n)," you supplied softly, "My name is (y/n)."
He smiled, "Your mother and I spoke about our favourite names for if we ever had children... Your name is the one I picked." He stuck his hand out, shaking yours, "Well, (y/n), I'm Obi-Wan Kenobi and it appears that I am your father."
