these  two  spend  ALOT  of  time  together  .  whether  it's  for  fashion  shows  ,  campaigns  ,  etc.  the  public  has  come  to  love  seeing  them  around  one  another  ,  although  what  many  don't  know  is  when  they're  in  eachother's  company  they'd  rather  be  anywhere  else  .  they  may  have  the  same  job  title  but  that  is  where  the  similarities  start  &  end  .

   based  on  the  madison  beer  song  ,  home  with  you  .  they  met  on  a  night  out  ,  recently  .  y  /  m  was  sure  they'd  be  able  to  bring  her  home  by  the  end  of  the  night  but  the  second  she  got  a  whiff  that  ,  that  was  their  sole  intent  she  was  completely  turned  off  .  bama  gets  the  ick  from  anyone  she  deems  a  player  and  so  now  when  they're  trying  to  prove  to  her  they  have  good  intentions  all  their  attempts  are  falling  on  deaf  ears  .  maybe  they  do  have  good  intentions  now  or  maybe  they  are  just  trying  to  prove  a  point  that  they  can  get  her  .

   they  were  once  as  thick  as  thieves  ,  partners  in  crime  .  their  friendship  based  mostly  in  nights  out  on  the  town  .  some  of  both  their  best  memories  are  together  .  now  ,  when  bama  thinks  of  them  ,  though  ,  she's  plagued  with  the  memory  of  them  selling  her  out  (  they  backstabbed  in  one  way  or  another  )  ,  likely  for  their  own  gain  .  she's  entirely  cut  them  off  &  things  often  go  south  whenever  they  come  face  to  face  .

   based off the marina song , man's world . they're  both  at  the  top  of  the  world  when  it  comes  to  formula  1  .  years  of  back  &  forth  and  their  own  hunger  for  the  number  one  spot  have  made  these  two  the  perfect  RIVALS  .  to  bama  he  represents  everything  she's  trying  to  push  against  ,  while  she's  sure  he  see's  her  as  an  annoyance  &  the  only  thing  in  the  last  six  -  seven  years  that  can  get  in  the  way  of  his  legacy  .

based  off  the  olivia  obrien  song  ,  care  less  more  .  her  most  recent  fling  ,  currently  ongoing  .  their  feelings  are  there  ,  although  neither  one  of  them  is  willing  to  say  it  outloud  .  bama  knows  he's  into  someone  else  (  thinks  she's  a  better  fit  for  him  though  )  .  this  underlying  feeling  of  just  keeping  another  girls  side  of  the  bed  warm  is  usually  what  lands  the  two  of  them  in  arguments  ,  followed  by  days  without  talking  only  for  him  to  text  /  call  her  &  the  cycle  repeats  itself  .

josslyn   ,   madden   .

based  off  the  olivia  obrien  song  ,  josslyn  .  from  close  friends  to  situationship  ,  it  was  muddied  waters  from  the  beginning  ,  neither  one  knowing  the  rules  /  boundaries  of  their  relationship  .  all  they  knew  was  they  cared  about  each  other  ,  most  days  ,  more  than  just  friends  do  .  that  was  until  they  went  off  and  hooked  up  with  someone  else  .  bama  found  out  either  through  the  tabloids  or  someone  else  &  it  was  the  end  of  both  their  situationship  as  well  as  their  friendship  .  they  likely  try  to  get  their  friendship  back  but  bama  has  blocked  their  number  &  all  their  social  media  since  everything  went  down  .  would  also  love  the  person  they  slept  with  .  

the  one  -  one  night  stand   ,   keanu   .  

bama  doesn't  casually  sleep  around  ,  at  all  .  so  this  would  have  been  a  one  time  thing  that  likely  happened  while  she  was  in  a  bad  headspace  (  potentially  around  the  time  of  her  third  consecutive  championship  loss  )  and  was  just  in  need  of  something  /  someone  to  distract  her  from  everything  .  she  probably  snuck  off  immediately  after  ,  could  have  been  a  friend  or  someone  she  doesn't  know  very  well  ,  but  she  likely  tries  to  act  like  it  never  even  happened  .

CHARACTER PROFILE:

Tw: Abuse, Anxiety, Night Terrors

All Cooter Menkins wanted in his marriage was to bring in the perfect byproducts of himself that would hopefully one day continue his “perfect” legacy, but when Caleb was born, it was safe to say Cooter’s dreams of the perfect offspring came down like a led balloon. The reason for that being because innocent baby Caleb was born with a complex congenital heart condition and at first, the doctors were unsure if he would even make it through the night, but he did and amazingly, every aspect of his heart conditions all fit together in a way that kept him healthy, kept him on the right path and even to this day, he’s still making history because not once has he ever had surgery and doctors were certain without any form of intervention, he wouldn’t have made it even close to this stage of life in the world.

Caleb has always known Cooter favored his older sibling over him and it didn’t bother him, it didn’t bother him because he didn’t need Cooter’s approval to live his life and sure, as he got older he was targeted the most during his father’s aggressive moments and he was probably the only member of the family that Cooter never apologized to after coming down from his rage. It didn’t bother Caleb, though, because eventually his parents divorced, there was never a battle between custody and so far, the happiest day of Caleb’s life has been getting his surname legally changed from Menkins to Beiste.

Although Caleb was only young when his parents divorced, it has left him with more than enough mental health struggles as he’s gotten older; from suffering from severe Night Terrors to being diagnosed with Anxiety, Caleb has been left with a mark that won’t just fade away over time and that’s one thing he can never forgive Cooter for.

Since breaking contact with Cooter, Caleb has an incredibly close bond with his father, Sheldon and his older sibling; they have always been a tight-knit family unit, but everything they had been through only made them stronger; they were there for one another through thick and thin and no matter what happened, Caleb always knew he could talk to the two about anything and it was a bond he hoped would never be broken.

As a child, Caleb grew up with the hospital being his second home, his heart condition left him vulnerable to the smallest of infections as he had a compromised immune system, but if anything, it made him stronger; he was braver than you could imagine and he met so many people and made so many friends from a different walks of life, friends that he knew he wouldn’t have if his life were any different and that was the reason why he wouldn’t change his world for anything.

Overall, Caleb is an incredibly optimistic individual, he’s very protective over those who he cares about and rarely ever asks for help unless it’s something of urgency. Since getting accepted into Joie University, Cooter has once again tried to reach out and regain contact with him, but Caleb knows better, he knows what Sheldon went through, what his sibling went through, and he wasn’t going to just let the contact slide. Although, he is quite nervous to tell his family about the estranged man’s sudden want for contact.

What made you want to attend Joie University? I wanted to attend Joie University because my dad came here, it’s the one place where he always seemed so happy and free, and after growing up surrounded by it and having the experience of being able to kind of grow up with it, I just- no other university could ever come close. I’ve never been more certain of anything in my life.

What are at least 3 positive or neutral and at least 3 negative traits that you believe you possess? That’s a tough question, but I guess, I would say maybe my positive traits are I’m protective about everyone I care about, I’m optimistic- my dad always says that, and the third, I guess would be I’m driven; I always go into things I want 100% and I don’t give up until I’m certain I won’t get that close again, or until I’ve won. As for negative traits, I would say I’m naive about a lot, especially about the real world, I’m what some would call an escapist; when something bad is going on, I like to go into my own world and pretend it’s not happening and the third, I’m awkward- like extremely. I’m one of those people who goes out and when the server tells me to enjoy my food, I say “thanks, you too”.

Which of your traits do you value most? I value my optimism the most, it’s gotten me through a lot of difficult situations in my life and it’s the one thing that i’ve had since I was little, and I don’t know, that kind of makes it special, because it’s mine and I know all the stories from the hardships it had to help me get through. I don’t know, I don’t think I would be here without it.

How can that trait benefit the University (or its student body) as a whole? I think my optimistic trait could benefit the University and it’s students because school is hard, it’s the one thing that makes us all reach limits we never thought possible and those limits can either make or break someone, so I think it’s important that there is some light at the end of the tunnel because although it sounds stupid, it’s also the one thing that can get people through their darkest times. It takes one person to start the fire and then it’s just up to everyone else to keep the flame going.

What do you hope to gain from your experience at JU? Other than passing my classes, I would really like to make new friends and find myself that’s outside of my heart condition and outside of a hospital. People also say you meet your soulmate in college, so hey, sign me up!
