You've probably seen gifs from this opening (heck, I've even made my own gifset from this) but I don't think many people have seen the actual thing, so I decided to post it since it's incredibly cute.

Sissel - For spoilers reasons, I really can't say much but Gh.st trick is literally one of the best games ever I will die on this hill please please PLEASE play this game! They've remastered it to nearly all main modern consoles as well as Steam and I love it when REDACTED and then it turns out REDACTED was REDACTED and gosh!

But Sissel is hilarious and the 'straight man' of the comedy which is lots of fun. He's got a good sense of justice, is clever, caring, and is a ghost! I really like stories that explore/play with how an afterlife may work. I really find his Ghost Tricks neat and how they can do so much yet still have plenty of limitations. I really wish I could say more here but I can't without spoiling the whole game but he's a good banana-head guy, trust me ; )

The Reader - Hello more characters from obscure games I love! They are the playable character from Supergi.nt games' Pyre! And while they are kind of a blank slate for you, the player to get to choose how you wish to have them act and whatnot there are multiple times in the story where you can build your own backstory of your Reader how you wish.

Pyre is such an underrated game of Supergi.nt's and the world of it is so intriguing. I was drawn the backstory you can choose where the Reader is an orphan due to their country's generations-long feud with their neighbors and is a scholar who committed the 'sin' of owning books and being literate when the country's government had banned any form of literacy and even the old language (English) long ago. They are exiled for this great 'sin' to an inhospitable land underneath the dropoff of a massive waterfall. I just really like how much they are the glue to the little band of exiles you join together with to try and regain your alls freedom. They aren't a fighter, they physically can't be due to their disabilities, but their guidance more than makes up for it. I also really like how they go from just some nobody exile to trying to change their entire country.

The Voice / Archjustice Androblees IX - Also from Pyre (the faceclaim is not) look- every multi-use needs the one asshole muse ok? This is mine. He's an overdramatic sportscaster who's always narrating your life and roasting you every second of the way! I just find that neat and fun c:

I do think there are more complex things going on too but we don't get to see much of it in the game so we can only speculate for most of it but he went from being REDACTED to this so there must have been something that caused the change.

Jing Yuan - I'm a sucker for deeply hurting characters who hide it all behind a smile : ). Though he's also very cool and the focus on him in the Luofu chapter of HSR certainly helps, he had a lot of cool moments and scenes. But also has range and is a funny eepy lion man. I appreciate the duality. I am so normal about him and his friendship with the HCQ and how it all fell apart : ")

Lady - She's so cool TwT and cute and badass. And actually has a great character arc (at least in 3 which she was one of the main characters I'd say where the rest are more side appearances). She taught Dante to give a damn (honestly dmc3 wouldn't have happened the way it did without her) and hauls around a freaking rocket launcher to fight demons with despite being pure human fighting alongside superpowered demons! What more could you want in a gal? Oh, and has family trauma too so that's fun : ")

For Sissel this isn't weird given REDACTED but he finds it a lot of fun to push things off tables with his ghost tricks.

The Reader is such a book nerd I think they sometimes go to a library and take home more than they can carry resulting in them embarrassingly having to take some back in moments later.

The Archjustice is certainly over-dramatizing his voice when presiding over the rites and loves every second of it.

Jing Yuan sometimes cuts his hair short but it just grows back really fast so the shock doesn't last long to those who know him.

Lady sometimes shoots at Dante when he's being extra annoying--she misses on purpose but it's just to spook him.

17. do your muses get along with each other?

The Reader and Archjustice are at odds at each other during Pyre so definitely no there. No one gets along with Archjustice because he's a bastard. Sissel doesn't like being around Lady due to all the killing and death, but would be ok to hang out with the Reader but... he can't read though so they don't have much in common unless Reader could teach him. Jing Yuan would get along with everyone but Archjustice and would probably like talking with the Reader a lot and fighting alongside Lady (the feeling would be mutual). Lady would be freaked out by Sissel's existence, things are supposed to die not become ghosts! She'd think the Reader is an accident waiting to happen with how easily they allow people to approach them yet physically aren't able to defend themselves.

(additions: you can be in more than one 'big' circle. anime can mean other forms of animation, depending on the vibes. weebs is used as a neutral, collective term. video game nerds can in fact partake in ocs but tend to do so to a lesser extent as they are already part of the universe in question. anime weebs may partake in obsure character knowledge but tend not to do so as there is often less information on anime characters as plot points are generally more important and shows are often more fast-paced than games/comics and allow you less time to dwell on the smaller moments, because you cannot not press a or stick on a page for a minute or two. the show moves on without you. there is no time for throwaway comments when you have 20 minutes to air a boss battle. however, comic book nerds do not partake in vtubing. they may watch vtubers, sure, but you must be one of the others to be the vtuber. all of these people partake in dungeons and dragons, no exeptions.)

No but I find it really interesting how you can very clearly see a woman with Vivian's glasses within the Arcadian Six photograph and I didn't figure out Vivian was one of the Six until the reveal. Like she isn't even in the background or obsured in any way. She's right there, plain as day, the woman with long hair. But all those times that picture showed up throughout the game, I never noticed the long haired woman had glasses or y'know looked like Vivian. The first time it was shown, I even thought 'ha, bet a detail in this will be relevant later as a clue' yet never actually looked deeper.

And in short, I think that fits with the theme of not caring enough to notice mundane things until you are given a sufficient reason to look their way. I mean, I still couldn't tell you what anyone else in that photograph looked like. Why should I, they don't matter to the narrative so I have no need to pay attention to them.

I genuinely love minecraft as a story telling medium.

It’s able to do some rly dark stuff (think c!Tommy in exile) without turning it into just shock value for shock values sake. It does “crack pladed straight” perfectly too bc after you get over the fact that everything is going on in the block game it pretty easy to get invested in obsured plots like arbitrary life art stems or even“evil twin clone takes place bc Roier is a rat or smth so he’s not using his body??”.

Also it all tends to be in first person & real time. You can’t help but get attached to the eggs bc ur watching them grow and change though the eyes of a parent

Gets jealous the most: ooh this is tricky. I think the most obvious answer would be House but I’m going to go with both. House would be jealous the loudest but Wilson would be jealous the longest.

Picks the other up from the bar when they’re too drunk to drive: Amber lol (I’m sorry)

Takes care of on sick days: Wilson would try to look after House when he’s ill, but House would just brush him off :(

Drags the other person out into the water on beach day: House. Wilson would prefer to sit on the beach reading a book. I wouldn’t say House would actually physically drag him but he would tease him until Wilson came to stand on the shoreline.

Still cries watching Titanic: Both, just that Wilson cries whilst the film is playing and House waits until Wilson’s in the bathroom before he cries.

Firmly believes in couple’s costumes: HOUSE. This man will pick out the most obsure outfits for him and Wilson to wear. Wilson will at first refuse because he’s not a fan of costumes, but he’ll eventually give in to House’s pouts and sulking.

Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas: Due to canon stuff, I don’t really see either of them as really celebrating Christmas (and I don’t remember if any gifts were given in the show. Was the book a birthday or Christmas present?) However, I bet House would go overboard with a gift for Wilson on Passover (some nice kitchenware, perhaps).

Makes the other eat breakfast: Wilson. He serves he best breakfasts ever, I’m certain on this

Remembers anniversaries: House. Don’t expect Wilson to remember anything around anniversaries on his own. House will instead pester him at work until Wilson finally remembers.

Brings up having kids: House actually. Wilson would be unsure about House would want, and so probably wouldn’t suggest it (although Wilson is the one who definitely wants kids).

So, I have a conundrum

I was browsing the Resident evil wiki, just surfing around looking at different pages and reading about all sorts of resident evil stuff, when I found myself on the page for cut dialogue in Code Veronica.

Now, as anyone who’s looked at my blog for five seconds can tell you, I really liked Code Veronica. I liked the characters, the story, the setting, all that stuff, so I was kinda really excited to see what had been left out. Most of the cut dialogue was alternate versions of existing lines or lines that didn’t really fit anymore, (even if I did like some of them better than the ones in the original game, especially some of Steve’s cut lines,) but there was one set of lines that were completely out of place and have been driving me crazy for ages.

They’re a set of lines labelled as ‘Kid Alexia’ and they’re all different laughs from what sounds like a younger version of Alexia. They’re from an unknown point in the game and have been haunting my brain for the past several months.

The worst part is that there isn’t a single piece of information or discussion online. No obsure developer interviews, no small forums, nothing. It’s like these lines don’t exist anywhere except for this one page on the wiki.

I desperately want at least some mention out here, so I’m putting this out onto Tumblr in the hope that at least someone has info or is willing to discuss further. WHAT ARE THESE LINES!?! WHAT DO THEY MEAN!?!
