How long have you had your writing Tumblr/Writeblr? A fast and loose estimate is fine!

I've had a Tumblr account for about 6 months or so but I've only been a 'writeblr' for a couple months.

What led you to create it?

Idk tbh. I kinda just decided that I wanted to share my writing and it led me here.

What’s your favorite thing about the Writeblr community?

All of the creativity is amazing. I'm a whore for lore and world building, and the worlds that y'all come up with are immaculate. I could only hope to think of a world that vast and interesting.

What’s one thing you’d like your mutuals to know about you?

Please ddon't take me seriously. I've said it before and I'll say it again, but I'm not just a clown, I'm the entire circus. The day you take me too seriously (especially as an author) is the death of my whimsy.

Is there anything you’d like to see more of on your dash?

Nothing I can really think of. I'm pretty happy with how it is rn lol

Which Works-in-Progress (WIPs) or writing projects are you noodling about, lately?

Bloody Hands are Kind and None of Us Heroes are always floating around. They're never not beating my ass with ideas and scenes.

How long have you been working on them?

I've been working of the series component of Bloody Hands are Kind since February, and None of Us Heroes for about 1 and a half months.

Do you remember what inspired them/what got you started?

None of Us Heroes started from the Honkai Star Rail brainworms known as Adventurine and Dr Ratio. Their designs and story inspired the two main characters of None of Us Heroes. The series component of Bloody Hands are Kind was basically me shoving a long-standing OC of mine into the Hunger Games universe and praying it would work.

How much time, in your best estimation, do you spend thinking about them?

At least a few hours a day, usually when I'm laying in bed trying to fall asleep. My array of illnesses make falling asleep hard and I find that thinking about my stories makes it easier to forget that I'm not asleep (and therefore hopefully fall asleep).

When someone asks the dreaded, “What do you write about,” question, what do you usually say?

"Whatever the voices command."

What do you want to say (if it’s different from what you do say)?

Meh I say that because I find it funny so idk if I'd change it.

Oh definitely. A lot of my old characters are cringy.

Dude idk what to tell you, whenever I try and force my characters to do something I hit the biggest writer's block wall I've ever seen.

YES YES PLEASE ASK ME!! Anyways, I don't really care how you ask (I just want you to ask lol), but if I had to pick it'd either be asks or comments on Ao3. Though ofc I still love questions in any and all forms, even if it's something like making a separate post and tagging me loll.

What makes you want to follow another Writeblr account? Do you follow ‘em as you see ‘em, or take time scoping out the blog to make sure you align with its content? Do you follow based on WIPs, or vibes?

I mostly follow people if I think their cool or if I find myself consistently liking their posts as they come across my dash. I don't follow people often tho lol. I only follow abt 20 people I think.

What makes you decide against following?

If their vibes are too negative, if they're super political, if their content doesn't align with something I care about, or if they're super anti something I am. Any combination of those could be the reason I don't follow.

Do your mutuals’ characters occupy space in your noodle?

Yes. I think about other people's WIPs and such all of the time. I love stories, what can I say?

Of course! As I said, I don't follow many people so I don't have many mutuals. I love interacting with different people though, so I'm happy to strike up conversations with random people I find cool!

best  experience. I am a simple man and the experience that I love the most is always when a friend sends me a plot idea or something that reminds them of my character without any kind of prompt 

rp  pet  peeves  /  dealbreakers. Anyone that talks to me on discord is well aware of these :) The tl;dr for peeves is lack of communication. For dealbreakers: no about page, not trimming threads, getting publicly involved in ooc drama

fluff,  angst,  or  smut. Depends on the day. Ideally a bit of both. I like angst that leads to fluff a lot. Never really done smut. I’d give it a go but tbh I don’t think any of my shipping partners are interested in actually writing that stuff out and I don’t particularly feel the need to do so either. If I write a ship, I do like to consider the dynamics that would potentially be involved

plots  or  memes. 100% plot. Come and plot with me, work out how our characters interact, and then a mix of plotting and sending memes in once we have an idea of how things work between the two of them

long  or  short  replies.  Medium? Like, 3-5 paragraphs? I like longer things too, but I think 3-5 is usually the sweet spot

dc comics OC - our lady of gotham

Real Name: Scheyichbi (commonly known as Lady Gotham)

Meaning: DC Comics created the fictional Native American tribe, the Miagani, to be the tribe that lived in what would be Gotham City. Out of respect, I am mentioning the real-life Navesink [NEH-WAS-INK] people--a group of Lenape whose territory would have included Gotham if it existed--in their place. They spoke the Unami dialect. The Lenape were the earliest settlers of New Jersey after the Paleo Native Americans & therefore they're the first Jerseyites we have a language for. So, Gotham's "real name" is the word they used to describe what would become New Jersey.

Aliases: Nieuw Rotterdam (original Dutch name), Gathome (18th century); Gotham Town; Gotham City; the Spirit of Heroism & Righteous Indignation

Age: about 1000 years old, give or take a century

Height: variable; typically chooses to be slightly larger than a human

FC: Lady Death from Marvel vs. Capcom

Sexuality: pan all around, though she rarely has time to "get to know" anyone enough to say she loves or is attracted to them.

Gender/Sex: she is typically referred to as a woman, so she typically presents as one when adopting a visible form (see below)

History

About 40000 years ago, an evil magic-user was buried alive in what would eventually become Gotham. He would later be revived in the early 2000s, calling himself Dr. Gotham because he credited his own evil nature for corrupting the land. However, he wasn't completely correct. Around the early 1000s, a conman called Blackfire tricked the Navesink people into making him their spiritual authority. They confronted him once they realized he was just taking advantage of them. He killed their leader, so they attacked. When he didn't die, they imprisoned him in a cave. Unfortunately, he was freed by Dutch settlers in 1609. When people began disappearing from the settlement, the Dutch blamed the Navesink & initiated a bloody conflict that decimated most of the tribe. Both groups mourned & their mutual pain gave birth to Scheyichbi, the embodiment of heroism & righteous indignation. She'd go on to admire the Spectre & have a soft spot for Gotham's vigilantes. She would also be the one who resurrected both Cyrus Gold (who would become Solomon Grundy) & Jason Todd, thinking they both had their lives cut unfairly short. While Grundy would put her to shame, Todd would forever be one of several who reaffirmed her faith in humanity.

Powers/Abilities:

Some of her abilities are similar to those possessed by ghosts of legend: she never carries a scent, she's telekinetic & she can choose whether or not to be visible, heard and/or felt to others. In addition, Lady Gotham can speak to spirits (newly dead or passed on), but the mortal has to have died within the boundaries of the city in order for her mediumship to work. In the case of Jason Todd, our Lady used the essence of Lazarus Pits that lurked deep underground, combined with her own supernatural powers to resurrect him. The case is more or less the same with Solomon Grundy (Cyrus Gold). Other magical abilities are related to her being the embodiment of righteous indignation. Through a complicated psionic ability, Lady Gotham is drawn to the citizens who (arguably) need her the most. Then she focuses her empathic abilities on them; this sends the malevolent into a panic while the benevolent suddenly feel strong and comforted. There have been instances where she puts so much of her power into someone that they temporarily are capable of superhuman feats, like holding up a collapsing building or yelling loud enough to be heard across several blocks.

Weaknesses:

City Limits: she can't leave the boundaries of Gotham or affect anything outside it with her magic. This can be circumvented by convincing someone to carry Gotham soil to other places.

Power Level: the highest level of magic users--which includes beings like the Phantom Stranger, Zatanna, Dr. Fate, John Constantine & The Spectre--is still superior to her.

Inability to Heal: though she can resurrect, she can't undo the amount of decay a person's body has undergone. This may impact the person's mental & physical state from then on.

Extra:

Though she commonly takes the form of a hooded woman with glowing eyes when visible (usually accompanied by some bats or crows), she's been known to appear as a werewolf who stands on two legs, or even the manifestation of her target's greatest fear.

She holds The Spectre in very high regard. You might call her a "fan".

Our lad Lazarus is a…interesting fellow. While he has been around for a while, escaping the grim reaper with science and strong will alone, He has lost most faith in humanity, living long enough to see through everything and understand why people do things. Now this could be depressing to most. Including our insane inventor. But he tries to cope, to ignore these feelings. Now while this mostly results in him becoming blackout drunk by the end of each night, he also has developed extreme deniability. Especially regarding his late wife. Other Zombies and Hildon have all seen Lazarus on his balcony each night, talking to a picture of her. And by morning, he would be asked about it, only for Lazarus to shoot them down and scold them. Dr. Hogback knows this, being his life long friend. And the doctor wishes he could help Lazarus move past this, even going so far as to try and date him so he could move on. But these attempts were in vain as Lazarus acts oblivious. He knows that Hogback is tying to do, but he wants to play dumb. He doesn't want to fall in love again. Like Moria with loosing his crew, Lazarus doesn't want to loose someone else he loved. Lazarus is alone in the world. The last living member of his family. (Or so he thinks) Lazarus would rather still be in love with his late wife then put his heart into anything else
