Bio:

Sons of former notable criminals, the brothers aim to bring a different legacy to the Stickmin family by serving in the military and show their full capacity in working in their respective branch.

They were unaware of their parents criminal past and their actions untill they were in their teens.

The brothers have made an agreement that when they finish high school, they will enlist in the military in order to compensate for the former sins of their parents.

They also agree that they should serve in different branches to ensure that if one of them dies, then the other can live on to carry the Stickmin surname and comfort their parents.

They are very close to their parents and each other, even the brothers have made an agreement for all of them to come to their parents in Flagstaff at the same time from time to time.

Charlie is the oldest of the Stickmin Brothers, conceived 1 year after their parents marriage. Lawrence was conceived 1 year after Charlie's birth and Wliiam followed after Lawrence's birth.

While Charlie and Lawrence are extroverted, William is slightly introverted but managed to cope with it.

William was bullied for "being wierd" but the bullying would stop after Charlie and Lawrence beat the shit out of the bullies.

The brothers can speak a bit of Filipino better than their father (Yes, I made Henry have Filipino in his blood in this AU)

Because they have the strength of their mother and the luck of their father, they managed to pass their respective military academies with flying colors.

The Stickmin Brothers were assigned to a secret project (now declassified) called "Project Future", a project by the US military where they conducted a further experiment with the usage of energy weapons, power armor, nuclear power in military vehicles and weapons, prototype weapons, and much more.

When the project was revealed to the public, they were given the nickname of "The Nuclear Brothers" or "Soldiers of the Future".

Charlie commands a unit nicknamed "The Chosen Few" or "Atom Soldiers", the first of the units in the US Military to be issued with nuclear powered power armor and energy weapons.

Charles' niece, Amelia Calvin, serves in Charlie's unit as a pilot for their transport helicopter prototype.

Charlie would sometimes argue with Rupert Price over his parents and chain of command.

Lawrence commands a nuclear-powered destroyer named the USS Gyatt-Rizzi, a namesake for the combination of the names of the two destroyer ships in the US Navy during the 20th Century. (Yes, that's the actual name of the two ships.)

Some people in the military speculate (even his brothers) that Lawrence is a closet homosexual as either because a quarter of his sailors are gay or that it's just a stereotype that all navymen are homosexuals (in true military tradition).

Some of the naval commanders would refer to him as "Lawrence of Arabia". A reference to T. E. Lawrence.

William commands a small air unit that was issued a modernised F-80 and F-84 Thunderjet that is fueled by a nuclear reactor.

William would participate in airshows in the capital and in his hometown to boost morale and to encourage others to join the USAF.

The Stickmin Brothers are involved in "Operation Eagle's Wrath", an operation that aims to wipe out the regrouped remnants of the Toppats who were labeled as terrorist by the US government after their attempted assassination of the president and attack in Washington DC.

The brothers also made an agreement that once their services are finished, they will live in the same city with their families where they will buy a house close to each other.

this one is *actually* called patina...the title hasn't been updated for my doc because this fic has actually been living in one of my notebooks. so i will try to summarize as best as i can!

oh! and it is my first OC fic!

Mabel Fletcher has been waiting for her life to feel like hers. Only thirty years old, and she feels worn, used, and discarded -- by family, friends, and especially her (pending) ex-husband, Bridger Monroe. All thirty of her years have been spent on the east coast, following a path carved out for her with such fine detail, if she stepped out mere centimeters, it felt like all would crumble. And, well, she was right. Leaving what she knows behind, Mabel moves herself across the country with a suitcase and a backpack to a small town near Monterey, California. Random, obscure, and totally off radar. Plus, the picturesque town reminded her of a version of home that wasn’t broken; the perfect setting to finally make her own choices and begin her first novel. She rents a cottage near the beach for a month, paranoia telling her to move on before she gets too settled. Building a routine quickly in her first few days, there's a mysterious man she encounters on the beach nearly every morning. Following her swimming and lounging on the sand, Mabel heads into town to the cafe, either picking up a to-go cup or sitting down to work. A curious young employee, Ellie, starts up conversation each time Mabel visits. One morning, following her same schedule, unable to shake the rigidity of her previous life, the mystery man approaches her after she comes out of the water. Introducing himself in a gruff manner, Joel Miller asks if she's the author his kid keeps talking about, and informs her that he runs and workshops out of the antique store in town. What she comes to know about Joel shapes their relationship through their differences, and it all finally feels like her choice. Whether it's the right one is to be discovered.

in each run-in after, tension thickens between the two of them, and, well, the rest is to be written. but i do have it planned! angst, fluff, smut, hurt/comfort, this fic will have it all!!!

Right, so...I have a lot of OC's. Holy crap, did this get long. I'll go by fandom to keep them organized, and listed here are just the main player types, not background characters. And if you want to know more about any of them, they can all be found here.

Fallout 4

Nora Howard (Junkyard 'Verse series): My first SoSu. Nora is the default name and I struggled for a long time to come up with a last name for her. At the time, I thought it would be funny for her to share a name with Todd Howard, and then it stuck.

Valara Thorsgaard (Set to Repeat, Subject to Change): Lamb the Younger gave me the first name and I liked it. Val, for short. The Scandinavian last name was just...I dunno, it felt right?

Honoria Wilcox (No One Knows): 'Honoria' is a version of Nora. Her maiden name was Beaufort, because it was slightly pretentious and so was Honoria's mother. Wilcox was her late husband's name and she was glad to take it.

Eleanor (Nights series): Another Nora variant, no last name.

Joan Whitfield (The Bargain): I wanted something different for this OC since she ends up with Kellogg. (All my Nora variants end up with Hancock.) The first name comes from my extended family, and the last name sounds lawyerish. 😆

Tien Xu (Unexpected): Ahh, the SoSu from my first real AU. She's a Chinese prisoner of war who ended up in the Vault. No real reason for her given name, but 'Tien' was my favorite chemistry professor's last name back when I was in college.

Alice Monroe (Amends to the Dead): My most recent SoSu. From the get go I wanted her to be a badass, because let's face it, you get pretty OP'd with some of those skills in-game. 'Alice' is a nod to Resident Evil. 'Monroe' is just because it sounded good.

Jayne Shepard (Soldier, Spectre, Savior series): It's the default FemShep name, but I changed the spelling. That's really it.

Jehanne Shepard (Some Kind of Resolution): Henna, for short. Jehanne is a phonetic variant of Jane.

The Wayhaven Chronicles

Aya Batra (Little Things): Batra is one of the surnames you can choose when making your Detective, but Aya was my own invention. It's a variation of an old D&D character (Aeo, who in turn is a variation on Io). Someday I want to write more for her.

Da'Fen Carlisle Mayers Lavellan (Until It Squeaks series): Carly, to her friends. My first MGIT. When I created her I wanted her to be a 'just some person' kind of character, so she needed a name that didn't stand out much. Tbh, I don't even like it. I think I was halfway through writing Twist when I decided it was short for Carlisle, which eased my meh a little. Then as time went on in the story, she earned the rest. Abelas was the first to call her 'Da'Fen' because she was the Consort of Fen'Harel, and she was formally adopted into Clan Lavellan after the events of the main game.

Imogen McLean (Wicked Things series): My ex wouldn't let me name Lamb the Younger Imogen when she was born, so I decided I would save it for a character someday. And so I did. 'McLean' because she's of Irish descent, and I knew a girl by that family name when I was a kid.

Eliana Hawke (Wicked Things series): I tend to give my F!Hawkes unique names, I guess. But this one was for the purpose of Imogen getting to call her Elly and Elly getting to call her Genny. It was a deliberate 'the names you use denote intimacy level' kind of thing.

Terisin Mahariel (Wicked Things series): It means 'Flint-like'. I wanted something hefty for the HoF, something that would give the impression of gravity and determination. And then everyone in the fic shortens it to 'Ter'. 🤣

Mira Foret (Driftwood series): This is actually a nickname, her full name is Almira. Her family name on Earth was 'Wood', and upon being transported to Thedas, she changed it to 'Foret', which is the Orlesian version of the word. There is actually a reason she has these names in particular, but that gets into level 40 IRL stuff, so I shan't say.

Carmilla Hawke (Maker Damned Fools): Cara, for short, and only if you have her permission. Back when I first wrote MDF, I had a notion that Leandra wanted to give all her children names beginning with the same letter. "How'd Bethany happen?" Varric asked. Because they didn't know they were having twins and had to come up with a name on the fly and Malcolm had a twisted sense of humor. It makes more sense in the fic. Anyway, she hates the name, and thus goes mostly by Hawke.

Hera Trevelyan (No More My Heart Beats Without You): I just liked it. Didn't even know it was the default name of F!Adaar. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ellisora Lavellan (Flowers For Fen'Harel series): Everyone uses Ellana. It's the default. I don't like defaults (usually) and will twist them around any which way until I find something I do like.

Sa'vir Lavellan (No Strings): It means 'the First Path' or, more precisely for her character, 'the Only Way'. It was both to give some backstory to her and was a nod to her being inspired by The Unending Wake's Vir.

Lahalaan Lavellan (My Blood On Your Hands, Your Teeth In My Skin): Ahh, my poor Laani. She kicked around as an OC for a long time before I finally was able to write something for her. She was always meant to have a longfic, but it never happened. It means 'Like the Foxes', and it suits her as a redhead and a rogue class.

La'Vise Lavellan (Just Like Fire): The title of the fic is the definition of the name. She is my one canon story. I am utterly unsurprised at myself for not finishing it.

Lark Cadash (All the Earth and Air series): Again, default is bleh. Malika > Lika > Lark. Then I leaned into the bird symbolism.

Shae Cadash (Destiny Is Just In the Timing): This is apparently a popular name for a Cadash, lol. In order to set her apart (both in fandom and in my head), it's actually a nickname. Her full name is Shaelgat, meaning 'Unto Shale', and it has Lore(tm). A daughter of every generation is named this, and will be until they find the golem they're named after.

Banal'ras Nydha, the Twice-Born (Hope Is a Fragile Thing): She's actually a MGIT, who was given the name 'the Shadow of Night' by Solas in the Fade before she became corporeal in Thedas. She has a shtick that goes with it, the ability to use Fade cloak even though she isn't a mage otherwise. Ya know, like Cole. Her story and name are part and parcel with each other and mostly because I wanted to make an OC who was Deeply Mysterious(tm) without ever explaining it. The legend-mark comes from the Avvar, among whom she lives at the start of her fic.

Virlas Lavellan (I'll tell you my sins (and you can sharpen your knife)): Default, bleh. Symbolically fitting name, yay. It means 'the Way That is Given' or something like that. This was a giftfic turned treat for the Solavellan Hell Exchange, and I didn't think too hard about the name other than something that would fit for a post-canon Lavellan.

Rinna Cadash (What Lies Beneath): Another giftfic OC. Dwarven names tend towards being short and this one just felt right.

Eshali'nan Lavellan (A Wolf Named Vengeance): This fic is a modern AU collab with my beloved Angel, and someday we'll finish it, lol. Esha, for short, was another OC that kicked around for a long time like Laani. She has quite a backstory that will likely never get told because frankly, I'm tired of writing DA retellings. Originally she was a Sentinel in Arlathan, who spent most of the intervening years in uthenera like Solas, but woke a generation ago. She lived with the Lavellan clan and was chosen to go to the Conclave. The name means 'Daughter of Vengeance' and was chosen for her at her elevation to Sentinel status.

Ivy Nicole- OHMYGOD so much!!!! I just love her. She's so. I don't know how to word it. But she makes my brain feel very similar to how my brain feels about Rosaylie which is the highest compliment I can give any oc especially oc that is for a piece of media sksksksk. But if I had to try to pinpoint one thing, it would be her compassion and love for other people. She tries so hard to love others and be loved back but the world is very cruel to her.

Genevieve- I like that's she's a loser. I have tried to expand upon this idea for some ocs for my own work but nothing compares to her.

Rosaylie- My dear sweet Rosaylie. My daughter. My best friend. My favorite thing about her is her perseverance. She will never give up, to a fault.

Ivy Nicole- this is a tough one🤔 it would have been Ellis. Still is for a very long time. She tends to put people up on pedestals, and he is no different. She loves loves loves Marilyn Monroe.

Genevieve- (I almost forgot her ohmygod) Not to be redundant but Aldridge. He's her entire world. She loves him so much it makes her head spin. She wasn't quite sure she knew who she was before him, but she certainly knows, after him :)

Rosaylie- as sick and twisted as it is, her favorite person is Tellio. It will always be Tellio.

Ivy Nicole- She is too much, too quick! She is overwhelming! She's always going going going. If someone can handle that, they get along fine. If not, they do not gel very much.

Genevieve- She is VERY shy, so she often doesn't talk much beyond the first introduction. It can be hard for her to make friends. So I'm going to say she doesn't get along well with people she just met.

Rosaylie- She got her Father's charisma. She has a wonderful, welcoming smile. She makes connections very easy. She practically charms people at first handshake.

Ivy Nicole- Religion. She tries to act like she isn't, but it's still her entire world. She's still very devoted and it tears her apart.

Eleanor Greene played by Maggie Hart played by Kristen Stewart

Onscreen Eleanor (Ellie) Greene is the youngest of the Greene family. She has yet to be hardened by the world and it’s surroundings. Her family has a tendency of keeping secrets from her and she finds them out in the brutal ways of life. This includes not knowing about walkers in her family barn, a life changing secret about her birth, and more. On her journey, she becomes less filtered, tougher, and explores her interests she wasn’t able to before.

Offscreen Maggie Hart is a up and coming songwriter. She wrote songs for a variety of artists before being recruited to perform the soundtrack for The Walking Dead season 1. When the Greene family is casted, Maggie is cast as Ellie Greene whilst still performing the soundtrack for the television show in season 2.

Anna Kang played by Gayoung Choi played by Lee Hojung

Onscreen Anna is a citizen of Alexandria. She and her brother were found by Aaron and Eric and brought in. She is well put together and calculated on the decisions she makes. While she keeps a fair distance between herself and others, she lets her walls down when she meets Ellie Greene. She puts her upmost faith and trust in Maggie Rhee as her leader.

Offscreen Gayoung was a last minute addition to the cast. She went through multiple chemistry reads and training sessions to land the role of Anna Kang in The Walking Dead season 5. Since then, she has become a model and frequently works in the Korean film industry. She was taken under Angela Kang’s wing and is undergoing a degree in college to become a writer and producer.

Josh Kang played by David Kim played by Jeong Yunho

Onscreen Josh is the older brother of Anna Kang and member of Alexandria. He underwent training by Glenn Rhee and Aiden Monroe to become a runner. He is the muscle and backbone of his group when the fight with Negan and the Saviors begin.

Offscreen David is the son of Daniel Dae Kim and rising star. He grew up on the set of ‘LOST’ and wanted to do something like his father when growing up. David was recruited by Steven Yeun’s doing for season 5 of The Walking Dead.

🌟: If she's on her own, she just watches the stars above and lets her mind go blank; in the city it's harder to do, since you can't see stars as readily, but give her the chance and she'll look up. By default, Raphael is her stargazing partner, and many a quiet and comfortable silence or conversation can be had; some of those moments are treasured ones.

What's up? Another month has ended and it's time to finally release this post and its playlist (which as always will be at the bottom of the songs)

1. A song with a one word title: Threshold by Sungazer - "D'ya like jazz?" ~Barry B. Benson.

2. A song you like from the 60s: Happy Together by The Turtles - One of the songs I've liked since I'm a kid

3. A song that reminds you of spring: Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles - I'm not an avid listener to The Beatles, but I really like some of their music. One of those songs is 'HCtS'. The metric changes, the very bright tone of the guitar almost like a xylophone, the organ that can be heard, all of it makes it a perfect piece of art, no wonder why it's one of the most famous song by them

4. A song with a number in the title: 17 by MK ft. Carla Monroe - Again my OCD tells me to re-interpret the phrase as a song that contains a number, not that is only a number. Oh well

5. A song from a soundtrack: Out Of Control by Hoobastank - From the soundtrack of the PS2 game MX Unleashed

6. A song to be played at your wedding: Tie Me Down by Gryffin ft. Ellie Duhé - I really really like an acoustic cover I found on youtube as well, but the slowed version would do it too

summary: dallas has to tap into her personally forbidden knowledge to save the life of someone she cares about.

word count: 1360

warnings: car accidents, otherwise canon typical violence

dallas had to stop herself from sprinting through the woods like a madman.

       if she had any chance of finding brett, she had to think like a hunter—no matter how much she hated it.

       go slow, look for tracks, anything. . .

       she knew she couldn’t go too slow, though, if brett was poisoned with wolfsbane and had a hunter on him—even one as inexperienced as monroe—he was running out of time fast.

       “anything?” ellie whispered behind her.

       she nodded vaguely north. “there are tracks heading this way, but. . .”

       “but what?”

       “there are three sets of tracks,” she said.

       ellie stepped in front of her. “meaning?”

       “meaning monroe’s not alone and brett has less time than we thought.”

       “can’t you catch a scent or something?” ellie asked.

       she shook her head. “satomi’s pack can inhibit their scent.”

       “what about blood? he’s bleeding—can you follow that?”

       “i was kinda too busy to get a good whiff, el,” dallas said impatiently.

       ellie looked around, thinking. “your shoes! maybe there’s traces on your shoes!”

       dallas sighed, glad she chose the one pair of boots she had that zipped on the side as she propped her elbow on ellie’s shoulder and used her as an anchor so she could pull her shoe off. she lifted it to the moonlight, trying to see any color other than the black of the rubber or the brown of mud.

       “i think i’ve got something,” she said, hating the thought of it being his blood but sniffing anyways. “it’s definitely his—i smell wolfsbane.”

       “can you follow it?”

       she shoved her shoe back on. “i think so. this way. . .”

       she tried to keep up with the scent, as faint as it was, even with the wind blowing all kinds of smells in her face. her mind almost drifted into panic, but she knew she had to keep focused. if she got distracted, brett would die, and she wouldn’t be able to live with herself. she stopped and looked around, trying to clear her head and think calmly, trying to remember the lessons gerard had forced on her before her true nature was revealed to him.

       “he’s injured and alone. . .” she said aloud, more to herself than to ellie. “he’ll look for someplace to hide. . . underground. . . injured werewolves resort to basic instincts, and animals hide underground. . .”

       “is there a way underground in these woods?” ellie asked.

       she nodded. “yeah, there’s an entrance to the sewers up ahead. maybe half a mile.”

       “wait, dallas—” ellie said. “try his phone— if you can get a hold of him, maybe you can arrange a meeting spot—”

       “say the hunters hear his phone. say they find him before we do.”

       ellie grabbed her hand, squeezing it tight. “dal, we’ll find him.”

       “do you think you have it in you to use dark magic if it comes to it?” she asked as she pulled out her phone.

       “i think its necessary in this case.”

       dallas nodded, finding brett’s contact in her phone and hitting call. she put it on speaker, twisting her ring nervously as the dial tone moaned and moaned.

       then, off in the distance, she heard it.

       a ringing phone.

       “dal—”

       “go!”

       they took off running, following the ringing. it grew loudest in a small clearing not too far ahead, so they stopped.

       “here!” ellie cried, practically diving through the leaves to pick up the phone.

       dallas huffed uneasily. “brett’s phone, but no brett.”

       “he can’t have gone—”

       “i knew you’d come looking for him.”

       dallas pushed ellie behind her as monroe emerged from behind a tree.

       “what did you do to him?” she demanded.

       monroe smiled that same smile. “nothing nearly as bad as what i’m gonna do to you.”

       dallas regarded the slash marks across her throat.

       “did he do that to you?” she asked, chuckling humorlessly. “that’s a shame. if i were him, i would have ripped your fucking throat out.”

       it was then that ellie tackled her to the ground as an arrow flew over their heads, but a new figure—the third pair of tracks—pulled monroe out of the way. she didn’t have to look to know it was brett that threw the arrow—he was the only other one in the woods.

       “ah, dallas, we meet again,” gerard said casually, aiming his assault rifle.

       “ellie, run.”

       “what?” ellie hissed.

       “take him and fucking run!” dallas ordered, rolling to avoid bullets as gerard opened fire on them. she tried to draw his attention so ellie and brett could get away. it was two against one and even despite her opponents being human, she knew she barely stood a chance.

       she dragged herself forward, spinning her body around and kicking monroe’s legs right out from under her. she wrestled the knife from her hand and tried to bring it down on her shoulder, but gerard kicked her in the side of the head before she could. she hit the ground hard, moaning weakly at the pain. she thought for sure he would put her down right then and there, but instead, he pulled out a small device and pushed a button. it emitted a high-pitched squeal, making her cry out and clutch her ears. he put his foot on her chest, cracking her across the face with the butt of his gun.

       in the split second before everything went black, she thought, if only i took my serum more often. . . i wouldn’t have fucked up. . .

when she came to, she shot up with a sharp gasp.

       she was alone in the woods, shaking from the cold with blood running down her face. she wiped it away and stood up.

       underground. . . ellie wasn’t a hunter, so she would have taken him underground. . .

       she dug her phone out of the leaves and dialed the only number she knew could help.

       “hello?”

       “stiles, send me a map of the town and the sewer system now.”

       she didn’t give him time to respond—she knew he would oblige, because he knew she only called him when she it was urgent. she shoved her phone in her pocket as she started running.

       if she knew gerard like she thought she did, she knew exactly where he was trying to corner them. she just needed the maps to confirm it.

       she ran back to the school and to her car. she wasn’t sure how long she was out, so she knew she had to hurry double time. her phone vibrated in her pocket, and she opened the message from stiles as she peeled out of the parking lot.

       just as she suspected.

       she knew exactly where to go.

       as she floored the gas, she became aware of something else in her pocket. reaching in, she pulled out ellie’s knife. she must have slipped it in earlier. to give her a fighting chance, maybe.

       once she was where she needed to be, she hit the breaks and practically kicked the door open. she made it to the side of the street and she saw them.

       brett and lori.

       and a car coming right towards them.

       she ran forward, catching lori around her waist and grabbing bretts hood and throwing them to the side.

       then, there was the sound of shattering glass and she hit the ground harder than she did when gerard kicked her. she couldn’t move—she felt like she had been hit by a wrecking ball.

       what seemed like miles away, she heard a roar—of anger? or anguish? maybe both?

        it was liam, she knew it. she recognized the sound.

       “dallas?! dallas!”

       “grab her!”

       “get them in the car!”

       “move it!”

       when she came to again moments later, she was in the front seat of her car, leaning against someone else. she knew it was brett from the reek of poisoned blood and the weak heartbeat.

       “brett. . .” she whispered weakly, reaching for his hand and slipping her fingers through his. “you’re gonna be okay. . .”

       “hey! both of you keep your eyes open!” ellie yelled. “keep your fucking eyes open!”

       she didn’t remember anything else.
