The Deal By Elle Kennedy

I LOVED THIS BOOK. This has been my favorite book I have read so far. Garrett Graham is the definition of a man written by a woman.

The Deal is the first book in the Off-Campus series. The story contains the tropes of fake dating and popular jock and unpopular tutor. The novel follows Hannah and Garrett as they embark on a deal to get Garrett an A on his final exam and land Hannah a date with the athlete she's crushing on. Hannah agrees to tutor Garrett in exchange for Garrett faking dating her to get the attention of Justin, the one she's crushing on. But, as the tutoring and fakes dates go on, Hannah and Garrett find themselves gravitating toward each other. Everything changes when Hannah asks Garrett to help her brush up on her kissing skills.

This book will have you blushing, giggling, and kicking your feet in the air. Although the story is cliche, it is very well written and a very fun read. I have no notes for this book and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fun and easy romance novel.

Book review: Off-Campus Series by Elle Kennedy

All the stories were cute and funny to me. I liked the first book the most, the rest were just ok, I guess.

I really liked Garret and Hannah's relationship, the build up and their storylines was really interesting.

Logan and Grace, Dean and Allie relationships were nice to read.

After Garret, Tucker is the best boy. But the cause for the "pink or blue elephant" in the room was a bit unrealistic. The probability of that happening is really low (considering the factors).... I was just expecting a different plot for him or the same plot but with different development, I guess.

But it was cute anyway.

The last book was nice and basically, fan service. Which I don't mind it, we always enjoy more content from the books. It was a nice blanket. But I also laugh my ass off with this one. Alexander (if you know what I'm talking about) made this a lot better.

hey has anyone tried to buy a covid test lately. because i just had to buy one for a friend at my local walgreens and the cashier very seriously asked me if i was sure i wanted it because. a 2-pack of tests currently costs $23.99. do we not think that it's a little insane that the only reliable diagnostic tool for a very much ongoing pandemic costs over $20 for a single package. what if I didn't have that kind of money to burn??? Especially if you're already facing potentially losing at least a weeks worth of pay if you DO test positive and can't work. How many people are going to see that price point and decide they can't justify the expense??? literally insane. remember that brief moment of sanity this country had when we all got these for free

Okay so I LITERALLY just got home from a lecture at my campus, these two guys who were chatting outside (we have these seats that you can sit outside and study etc. you get the point) I had said hi to them a few days prior just to be nice and all, don't really know who they are.

BUT OOOH BOI I WAS IN FOR A . FUCKING. SUPRISE.

Guy number uno: "Hey man, play any new games recently?"

Guy number dos: "Nah, just finished a playthrough of [insert game], pretty fun but I'm REALLY looking forward to, get this, Sonadow Generations lmao."

Guy number uno: *loses his shit* "YOUR FUCKING LYING BRO, IT'S REAL?!?!?!"

They start talking about it, meanwhile I'm about to fucking pass out after hearing the name S O N A D O W in the wild.

Community S03E07 — "Studies In Modern Movement"

His I.D. 6 months after he meets his now girlfriend Yuu (she vandalized it, absolutely wrecked it when they drank a bit too much at his apartment):

Some university first meeting HCs between Malmal and Yuu-chan!

Malleus attended uni earlier than normal, while Yuu was late. Because of that, Malleus is her upperclassman despite her actually being two years older than he is.

They fell in love at first sight during one fated lunch rush. Yuu is an assertive woman and dropped her handkerchief by his feet, while he purposely stepped on it so he could offer to clean it and thus ensure to meet her again next time. She, like the opportunist she is, gives him her phone number so he could call her anytime he's ready to give it back.

Upon seeing that accident, Sebek reveals that he's blockmates with Yuu as they're both first years and take the same undergraduate program. Malleus smirks to himself victoriously at that-- he had access to her entire class schedule just like that.

He's excited to accidentally bump into her during the course of the year.

He lives alone in an apartment within the campus because he doesn't know how to drive a car. He prefers walking to wherever he needs to go.

She lives in a dormitory with friends as her hometown is some faraway province.

They got physically close during the freshmen welcoming party because of the damn jail booth. Her friends paid to get the organizers to capture and lock him in a room with her. At first, they actually couldn't get a hold of him because of how fast he moves, but her friends in desperation screamed at him to "please just give Yuuyuu a kiss and then you can go on your merry way". He actually casually walked with the capturers to "jail".

The condition to get out was to kiss and take a selfie or waste an hour in there.

He walked in with all the poise and cocksure smile in the world, because he knows he'd get that kiss within the first minute and spend the rest of the hour teasing her as she begged him for deeper kisses.

He ended up sitting beside her and staring at the wall like an idiot. For 55 minutes. There were some occasional conversation topics but all answers were awkward because they were so. Shy.

Their convo became more natural on the 45th minute mark. 55 minutes in, she leans a hand on his lap so she could give him a peck on the mouth. She quickly withdraws, but as if some god suddenly gave him Herculean strength (not that he doesn't literally have that already lol), he pulls her back to him by the nape of her neck and dives in deeper.

"Your handkerchief..." He breathes out and actually pulls it out of his pocket to give it back to her.

She takes it, wipes off her lipstick with it, and then shoves it back to him. "Please clean it again for me. Give me a call when it's ready."

He laughs loudly and, driven by happy adrenaline, pulls her back in.

At the 60th minute mark, the facilitators unlock the door and sees her straddling him, hair wild and clothes ruffled, only a few nudges from actually undressing him then and there. He's not innocent either with his hands already resting suspiciously near the sides of her chest.

"... You know the kiss was any kiss, right? Even a kiss on the hand would do..." The facilitator mumbles.

They couldn't meet anyone in the eyes while they walk away from the jail booth, lol.
