who am i and what is this blog for?

i’m grace. i don’t really like sharing many personal details, but i will state that i am 18.

i am obviously a loki fangirl, but i also like: the legend of zelda, splatoon, attack on titan, grimes, björk, and more. i do also like other mcu characters as well but i’m just… more normal about them than i am about loki.

Also I kinda use this blog as an OG Loki archive. I have tags dedicated to older Loki content posted on here to sort of archive it since I unfortunately missed out on the prime time to be a Loki fan. #og loki post #og loki fanart + #og mcu post (tagged below)

like i said in my bio… this is an anti loki series blog, and i am critical of ragnarok as well. of course if you like these things (specifically ragnarok) still feel free to follow. it’s just i definitely won’t follow back blogs that heavily reblog/post series content, blogs that strictly post the variant/do not post anything that has to do with the og loki, and blogs that reblog/post a lot of lokius/sylki content.

and i… maybe i kinda question why a series blog would follow me in the first place since i am so negative about it 😭 if i don’t follow back, know that it’s truly not personal. i just really don’t want any series stuff on my dash. i have my reasons for deeply disliking the series, and i am more than welcome to discuss/debate those reasons. i have many times on my blog using #anti loki series.

also… i do try my best to hide it, but i sometimes get very defensive/sensitive over loki. if i ever come off as rude when defending him from others who mischaracterize/misunderstand him, i genuinely apologize. he means a lot to me and i tend to get irrationally upset at mischaracterization.

I've been seeing people refer to The Sentry as Bob's perfect version and The Void as Bob's evil version, and after a couple rewatches, i think im coming the conclusion that neither are actually evil. And even if I had to pick an "evil version", it'd be The Sentry, not The Void

So bob has been hinted to be bipolar, right? Sentry and Void are then supposed to represent the two poles; mania and depression.

Take the Sentry who was all "i am a god" and "you dont know me" and generally being a paranoid mess with delusions of grandeur (ps : is it really delusional when you're actually the strongest character in the mcu? Lol). Sentry is definitely the most violent of the two; turning on the thunderbolts and then on Vanessa herself... not evil, but not quite pure hearted, yknow?

Void on the other hand... is just sad. When he said "aren't you tired of fighting? Let me help" idk it just sounded sincere. And if you're thinking about it, you realize that the rooms might be miserable and lonely, but they're ultimately *safe*. Nobody got hurt during Void's takeover. It wasn't perfect, after all Void is depression and he could only provide that sadness of which he is made but his intentions were after all to *help* people in that misguided way of his

The... Trauma and mental health awareness, in that movie, really resonated with me. The whole void, thing, I relate to it a bit too much, and I'm sure plenty of others did and I loved how the whole movie was just:

Avengers crossover Ford— my man installed an anti-mind control metal plate in his head for THIS?!? I just know that as soon as he is unmindcontrolled Stanley has to hold him down from preforming one-man brain surgery on himself to update it.

POOR FORD. He thought he was safe from mind control but it turns out the metal plate only shields him from Bill-related shenaniganary. If I recall correctly, Loki’s scepter was blocked by Tony’s arc reactor, but only because Loki tried to get Tony in the chest and he just couldn’t make contact with Tony’s body. So if Loki had gone for Ford’s head the guy probably would have been completely fine. Unfortunately for him his mind-control plate is only an anti-demon plate and not a “anti-infinity-stone-on-a-big-stick” plate.

And yes, 100% after the events of the Avengers movie, Ford is This Close to cracking his skull open to add some sort of Anti-Infinity-Stone-On-A-Big-Stick technology to the metal plate in his head. Stan has to forcibly restrain him from just going at it with No Plan No Anesthesia No Sterilization Fuck It We Ball
