Okay so everyone is doing retrospectives and what not and I should just kinda quit while I'm ahead, but I just rewatched My Ride and decided that I needed to highlight some of the boys that I would 100% throw hands for should they be wronged by any man. So without further ado here are the people who would inspire me to seek justice and retribution against those that have hurt them with the same feral energy of cocaine bear.

Tawan- My Ride

First if all, Por better watch his fucking back cause if he does anything to fuck with Tawan again you better believe I'm jumping on the back of Mork's pillon and we're turning a man into a pin cushion. Tawan has literally done nothing wrong ever in his life. He cares for everyone so deeply. He is so soft and kind and gentle in the most beautiful way and there is not a malicious bone in his body. Tawan is just a genuinely, naturally, and fundamentally good person and I am so glad that he is a sunshine for sunshine kinda guy because Tawan deserves a man like Mork in his life (and Mork- who would also be on my list but he throws hands just fine on his own -deserves a man like Tawan).

Uea- Bed Friend

Uea is so incredibly lucky to have King in his life, because if it were me, and Uea told me what his parents did to him, the next thing anyone knew I'd be at Uea's parents' house ripping his step-father's throat out with my bare fucking teeth and locking his mother in the bathroom with like a pack of hungry wolves or some shit. Uea's family got off far far too fucking easy because King is capable of some level of self-restraint. I, however...if there is one person on this list who I would turn the most feral/attack dog for, it is this beautiful angel right here. Sleep with one eye open Uea's Mother, I'm coming for you.

Tian- Khun Chai (aka To Sir, With Love)

He's beauty, he's grace, his mother will murder you in an instant if she thinks you know he's gay. I honestly probably don't need to do anything to the people who have wronged him cause between his mother, his brother, and his boyfriend he's got that shit covered, but...I love him so much. He just wants to be himself. But himself is a gay man in occupied Thailand, in a family that disowned their last outed queer member and drove him to suicide so, he's having the time of his motherfucking life. I am not saying I condone the swift delivery of a death to anyone his mother thought might threaten him, but...I get it.

Elite S2 - Worth It

Hola, hola, hola, ¿cómo están? 

Netflix España’s hit teenage drama, Eilte, is back with its second season and surprisingly, is worth it. In only 8 episodes, the writers managed to reveal who Marina’s killer is to the Elite squad while introducing 3 new characters that serve as catalysts for some of the main characters. - spoilers ahead, just a heads up.-

The Good

The writers found a new way to keep Marina’s storyline alive with a different point of view. The communication between the teens and how open they are talking about sex, drugs, problems, etc... is nice to see that. 

The Bad 

The temporary write off of both Nano and Christian was unnecessary. To some point, I understand why Nano would leave, but Christian’s case, that was some real  class bullshit right there. You have the one main character that knows the truth and you decide to get rid of him in the first episode? The fuck? Oh yeah, you know why? Cause, that’s how you set up the whole Samuel x Carla bullshit... 🙄

The show is still 8 episodes long. I personally believe that at this point the show could afford to at least hit the double digits. 

The Ugly 

Cayetana - Talk about a fucking unnecessary character. Her arc is so bland that  the best the writers could do was turn her into a modern age con-artist, cause mind you that’s what she is, until her purpose was finally exposed a.k.a Polo. Also, Cayetana is the one character that is used to give in house bitch, Lucrecia a redemption arc and humanize her again, she is still a bitch tho. 

Breakdown 

Samuel goes missing. Okay. Christian gets run over by Carla’s dad hit squad. Okay. Let’s stop. As mentioned above Christian gets written off by a car “accident” that paralyzes him and hey, the in laws are willing to pay for his recovery in Sweden....so  off to Sweden and just like that the one character that could have ratted out both Carla and Polo is taken care off. The only reason that shit had to happen is cause Carla had to fall for Samuel. I personally think is bullshit, that Christian didn’t asked for a moment by himself and Samuel and just spilled the beans. Por que puñetaaaa, if your bestfriend’s brother who is also your other bestfriend is in jail, you would think some he would try to do something, realistically speaking that’s what teenagers would do. However, that shit doesn’t happen. So Bye bye Christian. 

Samuel and Carla, talk about, de el odio al amor hay solo un paso, bullshit. Fans are going crazy over this ship but is an excellent example of the writers doing a good job at setting this bullshit up and getting away with it. Let me remind you that Carla not once looked at Samuel, like oh yeah I wanna fuck him in season one. She was swayed by Christian and that was the introduction to the Polo x Carla x Christian dynamic. So in season  2, it took Samuel giving her a little attention when her boytoy, Christian is not around, and she just gives in. Literally that’s all it took, like one episode. It took Christian more effort than Samuel, just  throwing that in there. However, this happened because, in order for Samuel to be found, Carla had to “break” and confess and expose Polo. That is the plan that both Samuel and Guzman come up with and it works. She “out of love” breaks and exposes Polo. 🙄To be honest with you, i was waiting for the moment that she would also deal with legal consequences for helping him out but you know, una puta con corazon de oro. Let’s be real Carla’s character has no purpose except for sex appeal and the Polo expose, that’s it, that’s the character. Cool thing that came out of it is Samuel and Guzman’s friendship. 

Nadia and Guzman, let’s be real, their  appeal is the whole Romeo and Juliet trope in a modern society. Guzman goes through a lot of emotions due to Marina, Lu, and Nadia. Eventually he breaks, it was bound to happen but he also finally,  leaves Lucrecia. Now, it is  Nadia that is getting all the backlash from the fans. Nadia in the eyes of many has been reduced from a badass proud Muslim girl to I’ll do anything to get Guzman, which is bullshit. Nadia’s transformation is 2 seasons long. One she finally breaks free on her own accords and 2, she takes control of her own actions without being forced by outside forces. Example, Lucrecia and the hijab bullshit at school. People have to realize that Nadia is the character that will defend her right to do what she wants, when she wants to, not because someone is forcing her to do so. It takes two seasons of context for her character to come alive.

She also gains a new female bestie, Rebeca. Rebeca is one of the catalysts of this season. She is one of Nadia’s biggest cheerleaders and confidants. A teenage girl usually needs a female bestie, and Rebeca is that for Nadia. Rebeca is also kinda used by Samuel, but Samuel is also used by her mom. The point is that Rebeca’s biggest purpose in the show is to be Nadia’s girl. I’m okay with that. 

Lucrecia and Valerio, the Cruel Intentions + Flowers on the Attic dynamic, just doesn’t cut it. So here is my theory and the more I think about it and analyze it, it makes sense. The writers needed someone to beat Lucrecia with her own tactics, and who better than her half brother former lover Valerio? This is the perfect example of taste your own medicine. Nadia went head to head with Lu and won and lost. Guzman, lord knows it took too damn long for him to call it off and be honest about his lack of love for her, so here comes Valerio and does what needed to be done, he breaks her but in the process he breaks himself as well. I am not a fan of the incest, but Valerio is by far the best introduction this season. He, for the wrong seasons, wanted Nadia and Guzman together; however in the process he becomes friends with Nadia, which I personally appreciated. He also, makes the selfish stupid decision in recording her and Guzman having sex and sending the video to Lu, hoping that Lu would wake up from Luland and see that Guzman, just doesn’t love you anymore and it works. The backlash is that she spreads the video, to which he tells Nadia that he is the one who took it, and there goes their friendship. Mind you, all of this is after, he tells Nadia the whole incest thing. Eventually Lucrecia snaps in a fake gala by truly yours, Cayetana, exposes Cayetana, Guzman’s relationship, and has her emotional bullshit breakdown after she fucks her brother, then she fucks him again. So Valerio done with her bullshit, in the family dinner text’s daddy to look underneath the table y puta madre, quedo cabron!!!! Daddy gets to see how close his 2 kids really are. Now my only complaint is that at the end of season 2 Valerio is nowhere to be found while Rebe and Cayetana are still there, which makes sense. I personally would have liked to see the del amor al odio es solo un paso, cause let’s be real, Lucrecia will always be the greedy bitch of my way or my way and the only one that can beat her at it is her own fucking brother. I needed that. I need that. 

Ander and Omar,  the growth, their communication, the trust, the love, the love, fucking amazing. Omar, gets kicked out for finally standing up to his father, so he goes to Ander’s. He gains freedom and a non-toxic home that he, himself, said he is not going back to. He gets a job, he gets to dress up, and just be himself, fucking shit, HE DESERVES IT, PUÑETA! Ander on the other hand, has to deal with the hey my bestfriend killed my other bestfriend’s sister, cause Polo actually tells him. Ander’s emotional and mental state, did get the best of him to some point, his relationship with Omar gets affected, his relationship to Guzman eventually goes to shit, and Polo, well you know. However, Omar and Ander do figure things out, cause somehow, they are a mature couple that do loves each other. 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Cayetana and Polo, let’s be real, I don’t like the bitch. She gets introduced as another high class snob and immediately becomes friends with Lu. In the process she falls for Polo. Cayetana is ashamed of her poor life background and literally lies and fakes her way through life. It gets to the point that to pay off a debt of a dress she stole, she makes up this fundraiser gala that Lu eventually makes it a reality for her, in order for her to get the money to pay off the debt and keep the rest for her school, family, etc... that’s a con-artist, period. This bitch has no purpose except that she becomes Polo’s new partner in crime.  She hides  the trophy, y’all. That’s it, that’s the character.  She’s so bland. She is so useless. In all honesty, she is not needed, Polo could had turned on Carla and bring her down too, but deep down he is still in love with her and  his anxiety gets the best of him, and that I understand. Cayetana is now the worst character in the series. Con artist and partner in crime with a killer. 

Also, Polo is technically a killer but not really. He killed Marina, in what it looks like as a pre-anxiety breakdown and a fit of rage trying to protect Carla. Keep in mind he didn’t wanted to kill her, he actually asked  multiple times for the fucking watch , is not premeditated murder, he was trying to get the watch back and his worry over Carla pushed him to a breaking point. On top of that Marina coming at him made him snap. In season 2 his anxiety is in an all time high, due to the secret. He and Ander do bail out  Nano, but he never confesses. In a way I  do blame the writers in not wanting to bring Carla down, by not having Polo confess and point her as the one to suggest to cover up and shit, cause she was trying to protect daddy, who needs no fucking protection. This would have been completely different season, if Polo and Christian would had teamed up against Carla. That right there would have been fucking fantastic. In reality the culprit and catalyst of this are Marina and the watch, but the main problem is Carla’s dad. If Polo and Christian would had teamed up with Samuel and Guzman, it would have been a total different season, granted that also meant that Polo had to confess his act to Guzman, but it would have been a total different season. In reality Elite needs a villain and right now Polo is the easier choice. Is clear that if season 3 comes through, it will be a them vs  Polo + Cayetana, which is fine I guess, but it steers away from the actual reason it happened, the fucking watch. I’m not saying Carla’s dad is corrupt, but Carla’s dad is corrupt. 

Tl;dr: Season 2, exposes Polo by making Carla fall in love with Samuel. Lucrecia breaks cause she can’t have everything she wants, from Guzman to her brother, so she spreads a video of Nadia and Guzman having sex, real classy. Omander is still alive. Rebeca is a true friend. Guzman and Samuel are a good combo. Cayetana is a con artist that helps Polo to walk free by retrieving the trophy from the lake and hiding it. That’s it that’s the season. 

I do believe that Elite’s downfall is not wanting  to finish the murder storyline. Ideally they would wrap up the Marina murder storyline and shift the focus onto Carla’s dad and the  watch, but that shit  is not  going to  happen let’s be real. 

Overall score : Is a solid 4/5.

So here we go....

TMA!AU

Aka AU², the Nightmare Boogaloo!

So right off the bat, this an AU-within-an-AU of the Wildcards becoming living embodiments of fear ala The Magnus Archives podcast. Here's a list of the Entities on the wiki, though obvious warning for spoilers. (Granted, I've only just started season 4!)

In this AU offshoot, each character becomes a monster tied to a different entity of fear. Nelson with The Eye, Guybrush with The Spiral, Eddie with The Desolation, Manny with The End, and Sam and Max with The Hunt.

Guybrush gets hit first + worst. It starts off very slowly, at first he just feels a little confused/dissociated, but then he starts to have increasing difficulty figuring out when he's asleep or awake, and whether he's in reality or the mindscape. Doorways that exist in reality will suddenly lead him into his dreams with no way out, and then suddenly he's back in reality with no warning. Eventually this crescendos to a point in which he can't find his way OUT of his mind at all, and it all starts warping more and more into something unrecognizable. What feels like months of sleepless, ceaseless wandering is only a single day that he's gone missing. This slip through reality is also what ends up transforming his own body, he changes himself into a reflection of his own state of mind.

When he comes back out, he unwittingly transforms the Motherlobe into another maze. Not everyone experiences this or even realizes that anything is wrong. The victims who get trapped in it become fellow reflections of The Spiral, albeit with their own fears/nightmares influencing how they turn out. The Psychonauts as a whole is being purposefully targeted as a breeding ground of fear & new avatars for the Spiral, and Guybrush was chosen as its architect against his will. He just had the right combination of powers and pain to create a smooth, seamless transition.

Simultaneously, other agents who don't encounter this are being changed by other Fears who don't want to lose their share of influence in the world. Psychics are PRIME fodder.

Manny and Eddie get infected by their respective Fears while they're away from the Motherlobe, just out and about doing their own things.

Manny doesn't even engage with his directly to begin with, other people start becoming increasingly fearful of him until the change in role suddenly overtakes him. People try to make bids for their own immortality, and whoop, suddenly he's got the dice or playing cards or what-have-you, and he always knows that he's going to win in the end. The losers die immediately in front of him. Sometimes he can be more of a direct reaper and make the offer first, but he's not totally comfortable doing that unless he REALLY thinks someone/something deserves it.

Eddie has probably the worst situation. If he touches anybody they will die a painful burning death. A single touch can cause 2nd or 3rd degree burns, prolonged contact will set the victim in flames. But worse than that is the fact that his alignment with the Desolation makes him want to destroy things and people of worth- so that he creates an acute fear of loss and pain to those who would miss them. He’s the most physically dangerous to be around, so he’s taken to wearing a full-body motorcycle get up so that no one can touch him accidentally. He's safe to the touch now, technically, but it doesn't stop him from being ultra careful. He’s trying to abide by some ghost-rider morals here and primarily target bad people or other monsters, but there’s always going to be some collateral damage.

As for Sam & Max... They take a while to really notice the shift happening, but their final stage can best be described as this: Imagine if Noir Sam enjoyed it. That's basically how both of them would behave. They've always loved hunting down perps, but now their chases are a little more... intense. Frantic. If they've had a good one they're satiated for a while, but going too long without it makes them more antsy and violent. The hunting is fun and fulfilling for them!

Sometimes it can ramp up into killing, but considering that the whole gang is out looking for answers, that means a lot of capture and kidnapping instead, with the intent of interrogation (thanks to Nelson). And some monster hunting on the side!

Nelson is one of the last to change, but he gets caught up in the shenanigans pretty early on after first finding Guybrush in his noodley eldritch state. He starts trying to figure out some way to undo all of their conditions and bring them back to normal. Well, "normal".

But slowly he shifts from "I need to know how to help my friends" to "I need to understand what's happening" to "I NEED to know as many deep dark secrets as possible in order to live". With the change in his behavior, he basically becomes a textbook supernatural Man in Black entity, and his clothing starts reflecting that. His eyes become bloodshot and light-sensitive, so he takes to wearing shades while trying to appear normal.

Which also brings me to the next character! @zeroodd​ came up with a great story for Elaine, so I will c/p it here :

What if her and Nelson had teamed up in the beginning for a solution.

Just one night they're both working hard on it and Nelson starts asking about what they've found so far

but then he

keeps asking questions

and Elaine looks over and he's just got a tape recorder right up to her face

"Do you know he's gone for good?"

Course he'd try to backtrack and apologize but Elaine has to face facts that Nelson is as much of a threat as any of them now.

She leaves the group for a while in order to study this fear stuff on her own, and comes to the conclusion that she needs to willingly get in on it if she wants any hope of surviving this increasingly dangerous world. She eventually joins The Web. She starts out feeling nervous about things being out of her control and scary, which suddenly shifts to her wanting to control more things and oh cool, these spiders help me do that! By the time she rejoins with the group everyone is full-blown monster mash so there’s very little to hide from anyone. (Manny still HATES bugs though, and would like the spiders far far away from him, por favor.)

So, how do they all go back to normal? Well... They don't. After hitting dead end after dead end, realizing they're definitely not human anymore, and learning the true nature of the fears as a whole, they're forced to accept it and try to maintain themselves as best they can.

The thing that would make the changes so insidious is that it would all gel with who they are as people. By the time they're at that final point, it would feel like fate that they wound up that way, like it's everything they're supposed to be.

The power of friendship possibly even added to this, because rather than struggling alone and possibly fighting back against it, they understood and cared for each other through the worst of it, which made accepting their new selves a lot easier.

BUT WAIT! There are a few more links left in this story:

How did all of this start, really? Well, consider the fact that in the normal Wildcard AU (???), LeChuck is responsible for a lot of trauma in Guybrush’s past that make his hold on reality a little rough. Add to that his ability to create very life-like illusions, and the poor pirate becomes the perfect conduit for the Spiral to take hold. In this AU, LeChuck was the one who got the ball rolling on his transformation out of hopes that he could control the Spiral itself by making his brother the primary avatar, and then bringing about a new world of madness in which he is the sole, sane ruler. Guybrush hasn’t lost his sense of self yet, but as more and more chaos and fear builds throughout the world as a whole, he’s losing track of himself more often. 

After all of his work and research, Nelson decides to try and bargain with the Fears directly. Dealing with supernatural forces hands-on has worked so far! (I'm not sure if he would have to find other fear avatars to work this out with, or if he could try to ritualistically communicate with the fear entity as a whole, but he figures something out.) His bargain is this:

He offers to lessen the burden of the Spiral off of Guybrush a bit. In exchange for LeChuck being removed as a threat, Nelson will let go of the last vestiges of humanity, and become a full-on fear entity to work for both The Eye AND The Spiral. The Spiral gets all of the knowledge he collects as a watcher for the Eye, The Eye gets to know that someone reasonable is helping to keep the Spiral in check a bit. Diplomacy!

The deal works out, Lechuck gets trapped in the PUZZLE ZONE and Guybrush gets to reclaim a bit of his sanity/sense of self again. In the aftermath, Nelson's got a permanent tape-recorder effect to his voice, but on actual recordings he sounds as clear as if he were right there, with little or no effect where it should be. The pupil of his left eye has become a spiral, while Guybrush's solidified into a round one. Nelson's blending of roles works even better as a MIB: He creates the uncanny feeling of being monitored, and you get the sense that he's always lying about his motives.

This new situation works out even better than expected, and he tries it again in order to help Eddie. Not that he could possibly take on a third fear responsibility, but at least he's living proof that giving the avatars of fear what they want can work out for the best, and make them more effective at being monsters!

Essentially: Give👏us👏work👏benefits👏

The deal between the Desolation and The End gives these boons: Manny can sometimes take a human form (better for targeting victims), and Eddie gets a lot more control over the heat and can turn it down to a low simmer. They get to work in tandem to create a NEW kind of fear, the burning loss of everything you've ever cared about, and the knowledge that at the end of all that suffering is an infinite, inescapable end.

Now the gang lives on a haunted ship (Philadelphia Experiment??) that they use to travel around the world and hunt down worse monsters / evil humans. And maybe save the world if need be? But mostly they just terrorize people and feed off their fear.

In summary: everybody's awful monsters but it worked out fine in the end. For some reason the Magnus Archives made me go "But what if this was a found family story and they unionized and lived on a boat??" I can't do aus normally anymore, maybe I never could.

💕 tell us about one of your favorite characters and why you like them!

ok so I already did this one but I have a lot of faves so its ok. Mr jonathan morris like is just a teen that's most of his personality and I love it (daddy issues too which eugh maybe not so much, he needs charlotte to ground him which I feel sorry for), 18 years old brings along his 16 y/o childhood friend to kick draculas ass and they don't worry too much about it. They're banters quite funny too, even though the talk button in the menu just gives you tips on gameplay most of the time during boss battles they have a lot to say about them, it's a nice feature really. That and he's a whole dumbass, you could kill richter with fucking creampies and that's why por is best game hands down (it's not but a paper airplanes also a subweapon which gives it another point). I ALSO LOVE HIS LITTLE VOICE LINES if you complete the game I think starting a new one from the menu has u hear him saying "showtime!" Or when you successfully complete the motorcycle puzzle and he says "YAHOO!!" it's just so adorable. Have I mentioned that he's gay because he is, charlotte clearly shows interest in him throughout but bc he is gay and she is clearly a lesbian and they don't know it he treats her like a little sister and is also oblivious to a lot of romantic advances, hell the only time he's shown interest in a woman was during the astarte boss battle where he LITERALLY has to be mind controlled to do so, that boy *pointing at him* is gay.

📌 how did you find your hyperfixation?

So how I found it was very simple, as a kid (really young I think maybe about 5-7) we had a ds, was absolutely obsessed with it it had warioware kirby all that stuff, but then there was my first castlevania game: dawn of sorrow. Being the sequel to aria of sorrow (my favorite) and also being a kid I had no clue what was going on but I knew a few things, 1) somas surname was cruz and that made me think he was filipino so I liked him very much, 2) the music was really good!! And 3) some of the enemies looked terrifying and I was all for that. I liked looking at the enemy index and reading their descriptions cuz u loved the lore a lot, I always erased and made new files cuz frankly I had no clue what to do after the first or third levels. I also didn't know how the controls worked since I liked using the touch feature a lot. What I remember was when I beat the puppet master (a terrifying looking boss that was in a later level called the demon guest house), and since the magic seal (a feature added in cuz of the touch system, which you had to use after every boss or else they won't die) was kinda complicated to me and I somehow completed it I was proud of myself!! Showed off to my dad too (he didn't care). Later on he got order of ecclissia (another fantastic game) and i loved it even better than dos, the artwork was gorgeous and shanoa..... 😳 Was also very gorgeous. A lot of things were improved since it was the third and last cv game ever to be released by konami (a whole decade ago I'm so sad) and since this was getting too long I'll cut this short. Our ds broke sometime and I was sad but eventually my dad got a lords of shadow game for our pc, I forgot which one it was I think it was the one with victor in it, anyways it was the first game where I was introduced to alucard, I didn't really play it just watched dad or kuya play it and it was also gorgeous. After that id watch boss rushes or playthroughs of castlevania games on youtube for a nostalgia rush, I didn't really know about any of the other games other than the ds ones, at some point I heard they made the netflix series of it which I didn't watch yet. Until last year, cv was pretty much niche to me and far from my interests, it was August or June I think when dad put on an anime site on tv and watched it with us and needless to say I loved the first season, I didn't know about cv3 or any of the other games so the plot confused me but I did know alucard, after watching all of it I went on a huge rush and learned about all of it's lore (in all the games). Dad then taught us how to emulate games and ever since then I've been playing and loving castlevania a lot, so year long story short I played some of the games as a kid and got really into it after watching the netflix series. Although after s3 and being disappointed I could care less about it cuz all I think about are the games.

Order of Ecclissia: An Empty Tome (The games main theme and also the first two levels in Draculas castle, it describes who shanoa is, being filled with powerful glyphs abilities and a great weapon against dracula but having no memory of who she is, she's an empty tome) Sorrows distortion (ABSOLUTELY KILLING IT albus's boss theme) Wandering of the Crystal Blue (gorgeous theme for the second water stage), Malaks Labrinth (I forgot what the stage name was but also very good), and also (Forgot the stage name but the credits deserve a spot here)

Can I start by talking about Lucette’s evolution went because

Home girl went from being the most hated on the land to understanding her toxic behavior through her different suitors and coming to the realization her mom was very toxic and growing from that. Truly, poetic cinema at its finest.

Also hi yes, my favorite character (apart from the suitors which ill talk about in a minute) was Delora. Like you cannot tell me she isn't totally Lucette’s adoptive mother. Like, hi? yes? I need some napkins for my teARS. Delora is the mother figure Lucette never had and Lucette represents the daughter Delora had and Hildyr killed and I just.... ugh, my emotions

Rumpel

Lets start with doctor boi. To be honest when I saw the pictures of the guys in the downloading page I thought my favorites would be Rumpel and Waltz (I mean, I got one of those right lmao) because he wears glasses and home girl loves loves lovessss glasses. Then with his first interaction with Lucette It was very meH to be honest. He is just not my type and I would rather have Rumpel as a friend, although he did gave me quite a couple of laughs when he interacted with Karma lol.

His ending cg is brutal tho, his along Rod’s are the most heartbreaking ending CG’s (even though his ending in of itself wasn't the worst in my opinion because I wasn't too attached to him).

Anyways in short, Rumpel, flirty doctor boi. with good heart even though you roll your eyes at half the things he says xD

Oh boi, baby Boy Fritz. The only reason why Fritz isn't higher is because throughout his route I felt like I don't get to know much about Fritz in of itself but rather Varg, but the little we get to see Fritz I find adorable. He was one of the routes I was most excited on playing because he was adorable in the other routes, always looking out to protect Lucette and he always did <33

And Varg. To be completely honest I kinda liked him at the beginning but not much, the moment I trully fell for him was at the end when he gave up himself to let Fritz be with Lucette. Boooooi that scene where he says Fritz would never deserve her but he still wants her to be happy asdfghj broke me. 

Like in the end even though I liked Fritz and Varg individually a lot, I feel like there wasn't enough time with either to come on higher in the list and thats the only reason why he is number 4, but I still love them very much ;w;

Also like, the good ending?? its like the saddest one?? I mean yeah, they got to be together and what not but my home girl Delora dies?? and Parfait?? no magic? hello? I cried so much? asdfghjkl Truly the most angsty ending by far and I just..... Can they be happy pls? </3

Also as a side note, Fritz was the only route I could get all the positive choices at once without having to reload the files and I feel very proud about that lmao bye

Honestly between Rod and Karma it was a tough choice, and I think I could say they were fairly tie with one another, just putting Karma a little higher because his good ending was one of my favorites and Rod’s was kinda sad (well, I mean, I get it, they are step brothers so they cant be publicly involved but its still sad ;w;).

Y’all know I live for my tsundere characters and Rod did not disappoint. Not only does he have some of the cutest blushing moments (thx Sebby!) but he and Lucette have such a great dynamic! They understand each other and I think Lucette had one of the best developments in his route, understanding Em and getting her good deeds by growing close to her family was such a cool way for her to become a good person, my queen Lucette is everything in this route.

The bad ending is also super sad and the CG was so heartbreaking. To think if only Lucette would have said that he loved him (which she did) at the end to save him asdfghjkl, my feelings.

Honestly I didn't expect to like Karma that much. I mean, he was nice, he looked playful and I liked the teasing dynamic but I did not expect him to end at my #2 at all. But boi was I in for a ride. Once you get to know Karma? understand him and the reasons he is close off? how he truly doesn't consider anyone loving him as an option to break his curse? uh, um, excuse me to say this but, poetic cinema at its f i n e s t.

God and Karma and Lucette’s dynamic, iconic. He teaches her how to open up and live life, be happy, while she helps him realize he is much more than his looks and how he fell for his personality, god I love them.

Also the good ending was one of my favorites, they were just so comfortable with each other and I cant wait to see their dynamic with their family, its gonna be awesome. His bad ending was in my opinion, one of the worst too. Dying thinking the girl he loves never truly got to love him and see past the beast and just when she realizes he is holding the rose thing that he is Karma and she killed him? brutal

His bad ending broke me, thinking his conscious is ruined thanks to Hildyr and watching the girl he loves become basically a puppet? heartless. And his good ending, their dynamic, everything everything I love Waltz and everyone should know it.

"Bu' I'll answer your question now," the Princess says. "Yes, the reaction's been great. Talkin' directly to fans and other people. I never dreamed it! Sometimes you get the odd one out but me Uncle, the Barrister in London, told me to be in the business you have to get a rhino's hide. You cannot let anything hurt you."

"Not many, I think," the Princess says. "But there are some. People from Guatemala come to Crummer Canyon and tell us what’s goin' on there. One bloke showed me a photo of a li'l girl in a red cap and really common clothes carryin' an armalite. He told me she was one. He called her "un' otra princesita".

The Princess giggles.

"Pero la nenita en la cancion, no le gustan las armas,"  says Marty.

"Yeah, that were my idea," says the Princess. "Li'l kids carryin' guns, that picture's off. People wouldn't like it and couldn't believe it. But this li'l one who can kill a man by surprise with a knife, just because he'd never dream that was what she would do. That's believable and sort o' more interesting, innit?"

"Eso es cierta. Y los hombres que te dicen lo que está pasando en Guatemala. Qué dicen ahora? " Marty asks.

"All the news out o' home is bad," the Princess says. "First, they showed us videos: airplanes droppin' firebombs on villages and burnin' up the houses and the kiddies. People marchin' in the city and soldiers mowin' 'em down rapid fire with machine guns and even planes. Then they tell us the shelves are empty in the shops. People were down to eatin' tortillas and frijoles but now the frijoles are too expensive and too hard to find. The Presidenta gave the campesinos land and the Army chased them away, killed half of 'em and gave the land back to the ladinos. It goes on and on. Then they attacked Belize and lost a whole lot of soldiers there. They were our neighbours now they're our enemies. On and on. But . . ."

"Qué ?" Marty says.

"I've go' a scoop . . . special for you lot," the Princess says. "Me bessie Antony always loves when I do this."

"Quién es Antony?" Marty asks.

"He's the top entertainment reporter for Topzine," the Princess says. "He loves when I give him a scoop!"

"Quieres decir una primicia?  Algunas noticias que nadie más conoce? " Marty says.

"Sí,"  the Princess says. " You're the first in America to know this I think. Well, I was, but you're next. You and all your listeners."

"Qué ?" Marty says.

"We've got a leader now," says the Princess. "It's what we've needed. He's the Presidenta's cousin. He was a General  but he's been hiding in the jungle with his bessies since the Presidenta was murdered. They've been trainin' and gettin' ready. Now they're ready and we're gonna use the Freedom Fund ta fill 'em full o' food, clothes, medicines, guns, bullets, rockets: anything they need. The leader is named Xihualtepec, like the Presidenta was: so they call him 'Comandante X'. I have a video of him saying that the junta are all traitors and he's going to put them against the wall for fusilamiento. And may God speed that day! First, they're goin' up to Belize to help the people there win their freedom and then the Belize people will help us win ours."

"Ahora te gustaría recivir algunas llamadas de los oyentes?"  Marty says.

"I'd love it!" says the Princess. "Let's hear from them."

"Primo de Bronx. Teodoro?"  Marty says.

"Sí,"  Teodoro says. "Princesita. Solo quiero decir que admiro tu coraje. A tu edad, lo que estas haciendo. Haciendo frente a una dictadura brutal. Rezo por ti y por los guatemaltecos."

"Muchas gracias, señor," the Princess replies. "Pisto es importante pero oraciones igalmente. No m'admira. Ayuda a los chapinos. Puedo hago tan poco. Vosotros, la fuerza, hagan todo. For the English people listening, I said money is important but we need prayers equally. Don't admire me, help the Guatemalan people. I can do so little. You, the power of the mobilised youth, do everything."

"Siguiente, Marcelina?"  Marty says.  

"Little Princess, aren't you scared?" Marcelina asks. "Wouldn't those soldiers try to do something to you?"

"No,"  the Princess says. "I thank God and Mother Mary that I am safe in America to do this work. If I had to do this in Guatemala, I'd last all of five minutes. I know nothing they can do to me is worse than what they're doin' to all people of all ages in Guatemala. So why do I deserve any better? If they cry, I can cry too."

"Y siguiente, Paul?" Marty says.

"Bue-nas di-as, prin-cessa. Co-mo es-tas?"  says Paul.

"Oh, there's a Spanish language student!" the Princess says. "We can see one comin' for kilos! It's OK. You can ask in English. It's me first language."

"What do you really want in Guatemala?" Paul asks. "What's the solution there?"

"Easy Manchester caviar that one!" the Princess says. "But yet someone needs to say it out clear like that, 'cos it's so obvious people can miss it. First, there's Comandante X's solution: stand the junta in front of a wall and shoot them down. They dunno' deserve to live. That will make the people free. Then we canno’ get the Presidenta back from Heaven, where I'm sure she is, but have another election. Maybe Comandante X can stand in place of his cousin. He - or somebody - can help the poor, the black people, the Mayans, the campesinos and the trabajadores like the Presidenta did. Give them land, food, enough money, medicine, schools, water, toilets, everything they really need. So they can live like we do. That would be a beautiful thing. Everyone would come back to Guatemala and live happily like we used to."

"Que hermoso sueño, princesita!" Marty says. What a beautiful dream!

Chapter one: Fighter.

Augusta was having a strange day feeling a little dizzy that day when she got a call from el barrio. The truth was that she used to not be at ease for a while now but she got no clearer idea why that was happening. When she heard Diego’s voice, she automatically sat down. Diego has been a long time family friend and what was more important, her husband Manuel’s closest business partner. When she told her that Manuel had been shot, she tried to act emotional but it was hard for her to get into that mood. She decided not to go much into nervous mode because Diego knew her quite well and it was not necessary. At least not while facing him because later she will be forced to be the best drama actress. She lit a cigarette and spent a while in silence looking through the window, quite mute inside.

For days, Augusta was trying to kill time. Everybody except Diego was thinking that she was moved by Manuel’s dead like every wife ‘should be’. The truth was completely different. She was reflecting on company’s future. Funeral was a huge, tiresome event were Augusta was struggling to look great, strong and also to show that she is broken by her husband’s death. Obviously, she was not crying because even if she would have loved Manuel she would not do that. People knew her as a warrior, fighter. Strong, independent woman who happened to be married with an influential man but was able to direct him the way she wanted. Most of the time. The only exception was his company. Looking up on the burnt ashes of her man, Augusta was thinking only about how much she used to hate him for lying to her til the last breath. Was she missing him and was she wishing that he would not be shot dead? No. However sharp it would be sounding, in Augusta’s eyes Manuel was deserving that. Involving into that business was stupid and greedy at the first place. He has finally received what he was asking for. Nobody in straight senses would be starting dark affairs with some drug creators from the Mexican suburban slums. After the funeral, Augusta planned her few days of detoxication or more forwardly speaking, toxication. She invited show girls, ordered weed and lots of brandy. She smiled to herself while getting her next inhale and kissed the half naked blonde thinking that she won anyway because her secret was never revealed by Manuel. He could go fuck himself now.  Almost two weeks later, she decided to finally call Diego and discuss the future of the company. He arrived very soon. Diego smelt alcohol but he was not drunk. “¿Cómo lo llevas?” he asked her how she was holding up but she bursted into ironic laugh instead of replying at once. “Oh, don’t be stupid, Diego. I wanted to speak with you about the business”.  He lit a cigarette looking compulsively at it instead of meeting Augusta’s eyes. He inhaled it and observed from different angles, than got back to the conversation. “How long do you know?” he asked finally. She laughed nervously again. “How long? You are both stupid imbeciles. Five years? More? You really thought you could hold it from me forever?” Diego rubbed his forehead. “Listen, I told Manuel it’s a bad idea. You are too smart. We should’ve get you involved from the beginning but he said you have a pure heart and he respects you too much to get you into this dirty business.” “My fucking god, he said he respects me too much. Liar. I don’t believe him and you. I don’t trust you anymore”. she took a sip of her drink looking in different direction. “Augusta, that’s something else. Escúchame” Diego looked at his hands nervously because he was unsure if he should bring it up now. “I saw you once with a woman. I left, tried to forget and never told that to Manuel. He never knew because I asked him once if he thinks you’re having affairs like him and he laughed. He said that obviously, you have many younger men because he found some trunks in your closet.” He breathed heavily. “I still think I shouldn’t have lied to him. This was the only time but I couldn’t. I don’t know why. It will burn me down one day.” he focused back on his cigarette. Augusta looked at him trying to figure out why this stupid man was covering her but it impressed her somehow.  “¿Quieres una bebida? she asked him if he fancied a drink and he asked for one.  Then, he started to tell her the entire story about the company. The truth was being revealed finally after all those years and it made Augusta feel angry even more. Her husband has put them all in life risking danger about twenty five years ago just because he wanted to become a millionaire faster. There were now two ways to act. Diego presented to Augusta what could they do now. They could rather expose themselves to the police, get Diego and all the employees imprisoned but stop this procedure. Augusta most likely would not have to respond for Manuel’s crimes by the court because she had no idea nad it was not the hardest to prove it but she was still risking a lot. Other option was to just continue with her as a CEO. She laughed in a cold manner again. “There’s some bad shit but there’s also no coming back, let’s be honest Diego. We’re gonna die because of this one day too. Because of this bastard. I’m taking the board and the company remains intact. I’m gonna pay a visit to this puta who takes care of the production and who also happened to be fucked by my husband” she said  and finished the rest of her drink in one sip. “Augusta, but... what happened? You used to love him once. Like for real.” he asked very calmly. “For what it’s worth, I loved him more than anything in the world. I’m fucking pissed because first of all, I couldn't love him the way I wanted because I prefer sleeping with women and also after I found out this motherfucker is so desperate on money and position. When I met him first he once normal, hard-working, ambitious, educated, smart, loving man. When he saw some money on his accounts, he’s gone completely crazy. It was a toxic love. I hated him probably even more than I loved him”. “He was a motherfucker indeed.” replied Diego. “He was a fucking stupid motherfucker.

When Augusta arrived to el barrio with her bodyguard, first feeling she got was embarrassment. She took off the keys from the ignition, looked in the mirror in her car, fixed her lipstick and told the bodyguard to wait in the car.  SHe knocked on the door. It was Chela herself. She was expecting her for almost two weeks but she was kinda expecting police arrest at same strength instead. “Hola” said a cheap looking woman with a challenging facial expression. “¿Qué quieres?  “Hola, puta. I’m Manuel’s wife and I want to talk about the business continuation”.  “Let’s make it quick” said Chela, took a look around outside, held cigarette in her mouth and opened both sides of the door to let her in. Afterwards, she closed them and closed quite a few locks. “Vale, straightly to the facts. I’m the owner of the company now. Diego will still be the main partner. You will still be paid on same rules, you can keep my guards. Export will still work same way. Although, for a change you’re telling everything to me first, do you understand? Not to Diego or anybody else. To me. If you will break this rule, I am exposing everything. I have proofs that my husband have never put me into business. There’s gonna be no sign that I am joining now so you’ll all go to fucking prison expect me. Do you get what I'm talking about?” Chela closed her arms on the breast level why she was listening to her.“Yes, I do and I think I can agree for that”. “Perfectamente.” Augusta took a look inside but Chela stopped her. “Show me the workrooms now”. After that Chela sighed and showed Augusta the way. They went further, ladrona opened another locked doors and revealed a huge room with many tables were there was lots of fume and employers who were working like on production line. Chela stood unimpressed smoking her cigarette while Augusta was having a tour. Few minutes later, the elegant woman decided to leave this dirty, rusty place.  “For the record, I am a lesbian” said Augusta, smiled sharply to Chela and left.

You could do like modelling, or I don’t know. Act in a commercial. No need for that. But you know, how sexy it is that you are so ambitious. My gf is so great and smart. Yasss. She kissed her on the lips. “Be careful, babe. You’re gonna leave me red and I have to go now. The butler is waiting” said Loca and went downstairs. When she arrived at the Lagos headquarters, suddenly lots of pressure floated onto her. All the best educated (or best family status holders) in Mexico were applying there, mostly with no luck. It has made Loca thinking about the years when she was planning the future and education. Would she do anything differently if she could choose again? She was not sure. The rumour had it that it was Augusta Lourdes Lagos herself recruiting because the job had the highest standard and also after her husband’s death, the woman was leading the company on her rules so it was important for her to to this. Loca was overwhelmed by Augusta’s elegant beauty since the first moment she saw her on some of the business events for rich people but her interest was even longer because everybody, especially at Loca’s age, knew who she was. When they called her in she realised the rumour was truth. Lauren immediately loosed one button of her shirt because she felt it was getting hot. Augusta took a look into her resume and then finally, gave her a gaze. She stared for a little longer than it was necessary. “Por favor siéntese” the woman directed her to take a sit and Loca did so. The interview was about an hour. Their talk was showing that Augusta was intrigued by young woman’s story but also the truth was that she had no higher education. For their company it was a no go even if they were inviting those kind of people to the meetings as well if they were born into the so called “right families” but it was just for the commercials. Greatest company en la Ciudad de Mexico gives a chance to everybody and all that shit. They have never really hired anybody with no higher education diploma. Augusta wanted to finally say that so this woman would not have any expectations but surprisingly, she interrupted her. “Okay, I think it’s the time for me to say why I am here. I heard something that made me hard... to fall asleep at night.” Loca stood up thanking herself that she got few shots before going there because it was very risky. She approached Augusta who could not say a word to that yet and and moved her face very close to her own. The masculine perfumes Loca used in the morning were highly recognisable by Augusta. They were very attractive same like this reckless woman.  “Augusta, I didn’t come here because of an interview. My parents are rich and influencing. I don’t need this job nor I have the qualifications. Let’s be honest, I came here because you’re the most seductive woman in Mexico and I want you so badly.” The elder woman closed her eyes feeling the lust growing in her. This girl was either stupid or incredibly bold but very tempting. Augusta attempted to kiss her but Loca withheld her face and touched the women’s neck instead. She moved her fingers lower to her cleavage line. Augusta started to breath heavier and then, Loca put her hand on the older women’s neck, moved it closer to her quickly and kissed with passion. You are absolutely furious as you storm out of the apartment you share with Nevada. You quickly climb into the Camero he bought you last month. It was a “just because” present. You know laugh out loud at the concept. Lying bastard. You ignore Chavo, your security detail, who jumps out of his car in front of you looking confused. You peel off the street headed towards Club Rojo. It was a club Nevada also purchased last month. It was ran by some cheeky little blonde twat. He had promised you, on more than one occasion, that it was strictly business. Lying sack of shit. You place the CD you brought with you into the player.

“Right now, he’s probably slow dancing with a beach blonde tramp and she’s probably getting frisky….” You sing loudly, suppressing the tears that threaten to fall. He had been spending every Friday and Saturday night at this Club. To “check on the business”. Bull-fucking-shit. You grip the steering wheel harder. He knew clubs weren’t your scene. Never had been. It had been a fluke that the one night you did go you met him. You’d been with him for four years. FOUR YEARS! No, you weren’t married. You were engaged. But as far as you were concerned, every little mamacita and chica within 50 miles of the Heights knew he belonged to you. Except, the slutty little blonde ones that moved here from somewhere far away.

The closer you got to the club, the madder you got. The photos in your e-mail were very incriminating. Nevada was sitting in his throne chair in the VIP room with a blonde on her knees in front of him. You weren’t stupid. You knew the look on his face. After all, you had been responsible for it many times. Even this morning. Son of a Bitch! Lying Fucker! You clutched the steering wheel until your fingers turned white. You were two minutes from the club when you took out your phone and called his phone, just to see if he would answer. Naturally, he didn’t. He never did on these nights. “Too much business to attend too.” He had told you to smooth it over. Yeah, business alright. Slutty, filthy, blonde, tramp business. Probably poor taste to answer your fiancé while getting head from a skanky club owner. BASTARD!

For all you knew he’d probably fucked her too. You didn’t have proof of that, however, whoever sent you those e-mails probably did. Maybe you should have asked, but its too late now. You pull into the VIP parking right outside the club and climb out, anger evident on your face. You march to the door, tapping your foot expectantly. The doorman, one of Nevada’s right hand men, looks surprised to see you.

“Reina.” He nods to you. You almost scoff at the name. Queen. Nevada had ordered all his men to call you that. His queen. You deserved respect. From everyone but him it seems. “Is everything alright?” He asks, quickly unlocking the entrance rope. He knew better than to make you wait.

“Yes, “ You smile softly. “I just wanted to cut loose a bit. I won’t bother Nevada. I know he’s busy.” You lie convincingly. All you needed was for him to tell Nevada you were here. You wanted-no-needed to catch him in the act. He nods, returning your smile, seemingly relaxed. You push past him inside and take a deep breath before entering. Your eyes search the club for the blonde offender or your fiancé. You spot neither. Fan-fucking-tastic.

You quickly navigate towards the back of the club. You see the VIP is guarded by two more of his men. Fucking perfect. You approach them, they also look stunned to see you.

“Let me through.” You command softly. They look completely conflicted. They were ordered to listen to your every command, but their boss….oh he would kill them. “Now.”

“Reina, you can’t go in just yet. He’s in a meeting.” The first guy, Javier, tried to reason with you.

“Do you think I give a fuck? Let me in. Now.” You say through gritted teeth. He sighs.

“Reina, please. Don’t do this.” He says, placing a gently hand on your forearm. Your angry eyes meet his as you push between them and past the curtain. You don’t get much farther than that as you stop, heart shattering, at the sight before you. Nevada was in the same chair, but this time the slutty blonde offender was on top of him, riding him. You feel the tears threaten your eyes again and you blink them away, simply staring at them.

“Oh joder niña..” You hear Nevada grown as you watch his fingers grip her hips. Baby girl? He really just called her baby girl? Oh, but he swore he’d never called another girl that. Ever. You finally snap from your daze and grab the blonde cunt by her hair jerking her backwards and off his lap.

“You fucking bastard!” You scream, hand connecting with his cheek. “You slut! “ You shout turning on the blonde and punching her. You barely have time to register Javier entering the room, looking solemn as your turn on Nevada again whose standing, pants buttoned now.

“Mi Reina…this is not what it looks like.” He goes for your wrists to restrain you but you dodge him.

“Oh, isn’t it?! How do you explain it then Nevada? Did she trip and fall on your dick?!” You shout slapping him again. You see his eyes darken as Javier grabs you around the waist tugging you backwards.

“Reina, please, don’t make this worse than it already is.” He whispers. You fight like hell against him, finally landing an elbow to his face. He groans and lets you go and you quickly go after Nevada again, hitting and slapping every inch you can reach.

“Lying bastard! Fucking man-whore!” You shout name after name at him as he grows impatient with trying to restrain you.

“(Y/N)! Stop!” He growls, grabbing both your wrists roughly. Unable to fight his grip you slowly stop trying, eyes glaring into his. “Listen to me. Mi Amor. Por Favor.” He pleads.

“Fuck You!” You shout angrily. You jerk your arms backwards and he lets go this time. You take one last look at him, jerk your ring off your finger, pelt it at his head and storm outside. You ignore the four men of his trying to talk to you and walk outside with purpose. You knew he’d follow you. You went to the car he bought you and take out the crowbar you had in the trunk. You walk towards his escalade parked directly in front of you and just as he exits the building after you, you strike the vehicle breaking on taillight then the other. You knew you didn’t have much time until his men restrained you. You intended upon causing as much damage as possible in that short time. You strike the back windshield causing it to spiderweb.

“(Y/N)! That’s enough!” You hear his voice over the crowd as you scrape the crowbar along the drivers side of the vehicle and then take out the headlight on that side. By this point, Chavo has arrived and wraps his arms around both of yours from behind in a bear-like hug. He squeezes enough to make you drop the crowbar and drags you back towards his own SUV.

“Calm down Reina, please.” He begs, eyeing his jefe with discomfort. Nevada had killed people for much, much less.

“Take her home.” He commands, voice low and dangerous. You actually wince at the tone and swallow. Fuck. Your adrenaline had started to calm and you glanced away from his face to his car and back to him. His fists were gripped at his sides, his calm feigned for the moment. Chavo drags you to the passenger side of his car and forces you inside, buckling you in as you sit immobile, eyes locked with Nevada’s. He rushes to his side and starts the SUV, taking off quickly.

“Are you okay, Reina?” He asks softly after a few minutes. You open your mouth to speak but just fall into hysterics, sobbing. He sighs, patting your knee awkwardly. He knew how bad this was, as did you. Nevada had one hell of a temper. But you had been in the right, right? He cheated on you. CHEATED! Fuck him! You sniffle as Chavo pulls up outside the apartment. “Want me to walk you up? I dare say jefe will be here soon.” He says almost painfully. You shake your head. This was your punishment to bear alone. He’d be in enough trouble for letting you out of his sight, however briefly.

“I’ll be okay.” You say softly, climbing out and going up the stairs.
