VioletGanache42's Orlando Vacation - Part 1: Monday, January 13th

Kicking off this mini vacation documentary is the first official day in Florida. As you may recall, I went on a hiatus at around 7 PM because my mom, my younger brother, and I all had a 9:30 PM flight to catch. Upon arriving in Orlando, it was after midnight, so the very first thing we did after getting our luggage was heading to our hotel at Walt Disney World.

When it comes to traveling, we always stay at hotels, but this time was different. The place we stayed at during the first half of our vacation was Disney's All-Star Resort; we never went to a resort before, so this was a nice change of pace. From what we saw, there are three All-Stars Resorts: sports, movies, and music. Out of the three, this is one of the two hotels Mom booked.

Pretty cool, huh?

Unlike most hotels, each All-Star Resort has a building with a hotel desk for checking in/out and a gift shop along with multiple buildings filled with hotel rooms. For example, in All-Star Music, the hotel buildings are divided up based on different genres of music; the resort also had other amenities like the guitar-shaped pool and the Intermission Food Court, but we never got the chance to check them out because of the plans we had. I still wish we went to the pool earlier in the week because Mom and I were surprised that it had a fountain of the Three Caballeros. Oh, well. At least we had fun at the pool in the other hotel, which I'll elaborate in a future post.

After some much needed sleep, all of Monday was mostly spent exploring the shopping areas outside of the parks, including the Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets and the Mall at Millennia. It was mostly just browsing through what stores piqued our interests with the occasional spending. Nothing too major. Near the outlets was a separate Cheesecake Factory, which threw me for a loop a little because all the Cheesecake Factories I've seen were always integrated into malls; nevertheless, we still had a great lunch. (Let me tell you, they really know how to make scrambled eggs because they were delicious.) There was also a Krispy Kreme not too far from the mall and Mom just had to buy some donuts for us to snack on. lol

As fun as it was spending time in those shopping areas, the highlight of the day had to go to Disney Springs at Lake Buena Vista. And let me say this: there is so much to do there. When you're surrounded by dozens of stores, restaurants, and even entertainment, there is never a dull moment. I was left feeling so energized by everything taking place!

The first thing Mom, my younger brother, and I did upon entering the complex? Checking out World of Disney, the largest Disney store ever. All the other Disney stores we've been to literally pale in comparison to what they have in there.

When you go inside, you can see right away that there are so many sections based on specific Disney properties. Selected Pixar movies, Marvel, Star Wars (including The Mandalorian), you name it. A few walls we've seen were also adorned with a handful of animation cels from past Disney movies. Speaking of which, the counters where the registers are located have sketched drawings of various characters from those movies and there were a specific few that I had to get a photo of.

(I apologize in regards to my shadow and the lighting from the store blocking part of the drawing, but come on! It's the Three Caballeros!)

Next stop in Disney Springs was heading to dinner and where did we go? The Boathouse Boatique since we had reservations made and HOLY SHIT! It quickly became my all-time favorite seafood restaurant, with Legal Sea Food coming in at a close second! I don't know where to begin! The way they cooked the rolls were so scrumptious, ranging from the fluffy texture to the melted butter drizzled at the top. Easily some of the best restaurant rolls I ever had. And how could I forget to mention the way they cooked our meals? I ordered the fried clams and it immediately made me discover a new place to get fried clams, the other place being the Big Y near our home. The cherry on top to our dinner had to go to the fireworks going off at Magic Kingdom, which signaled the park closing for the day; because we were sitting outside of the restaurant for our meals, we got a nice view of the fireworks display. Because of how amazing our dinner was, there are times throughout the vacation where we commented about going back there again. And that is no joke; I definitely wouldn't mind having lunch or dinner again at the Boathouse Boatique some time.

The rest of the night was spent walking around Disney Springs to see what it had to offer… and I wasn't kidding about what I said on how there's always something to do. At night, some people would dance to live music that are playing. On top of that, some of the shops we poked in include a LEGO store, a Coca-Cola store, a recently opened Ron Jon's Surf Shop, Disney's Days of Christmas, an UGG store, Uniqlo, Vera Bradley, and Star Wars Galactic Outpost. There was also a fashion store called DisneyStyle and we all went in there because of what we saw in the window: this adorable Scrooge McDuck bag!

Now, I will say this: throughout our time in Walt Disney World, every store we went to did not have any DuckTales (2017) merch, but some of them did have merch from the original 1987 cartoon and that honestly was still enough to make me super happy. No joke; seeing them made me feel like I was going to have a joy overload. I definitely thank the reboot for giving me an interest in the Duckverse as a whole.

On that note, in front of the same window where we saw the bag was definitely a collection of DT87 merch; some of the merch I spotted were an assortment of T-shirts (the ones I definitely remember included one with Launchpad, another with Scrooge, and another with Huey, Dewey, and Louie), a tanktop having the same pattern as Scrooge's swimsuit, and a wallet or wristlet with the triplets on it. Out of all the merch I saw, I decided to buy this T-shirt below.

Can you imagine how overjoyed I was at the fact that I bought my first piece of DuckTales merch? Well, it certainly wouldn't be the last, which is something I'll tell you more about later on. In the meantime, I will mention that I was thinking about wearing this shirt during our time in Magic Kingdom, something Mom agreed with me on. (Seeing the T-shirt on the hanger also had us singing part of the theme song, so that was loads of fun. 😁)

Speaking of Magic Kingdom, I think this is where I'll end the first part on. I mean, I pretty much covered last Monday's events thoroughly and I was eager to share some of the best memories made on that day. Of course, like I just mentioned, this is only a chunk of those memories and there will plenty more where that came from. Stay tuned for the next part! (I'm planning to post each part daily, but who honestly knows?)

Ok so its been 24 hours since I saw the movie and I wanted to write down my thoughts, most of it is for me so I can go back and read how I felt about it years from now, its going to be very long and wordy but im just writing as the thoughts come and now worrying about grammar or anything, that includes timeline, so my thoughts may come to me out of order . I’m going to put it all under read more so i dont spoil it for any of you lovely people

So I got to the theater like 40 minutes early because I just couldnt contain myself and I wanted to get my perfect seat. Wore my new HTTYD shirt and brought my toothless plushie from build a bear (another little girl had the same idea she was so cute)

but now onto the movie

they threw me for a loop I was totally expecting a “this is berk’” speech as the very opening, not the raid, but honestly this movie is about change so I liked the change. But I still got my fix, because as they flew back to Berk my only thought was “this is berk”, AND THEN HE SAID THE THING YES.

Loved the scene in the great forge, it just really showed how big Berk is and how many vikings there are, and seeing them all happy and enjoying a meal together just warmed my heart, plus Gobber teasing Astrid and Hiccup about marriage and Valka beating Spitelout at arm wrestling haha.

Tuffnut was comedic gold, talking about his “beard” and giving hiccup bro pep talks. And when he said the earth was round? and the stars? I almost died laughing.

Grimmel being a complete jerk and drugging those poor dragons with their own venom.

Fetch with Hiccup’s leg?? and him dropping it in Astrid’s lap and then being over protective of the leg when Stormfly came near it? Then Hiccup tickling Astrid, what did we do to deserve such a cute Hiccstrid scene?

Toothless meeting the light fury was even better than I thought, he was such a dork and had no idea what to do, then looking to Hiccup for advice about how to flirt oh gosh silly boy.

Im calling Hiccup out on his saying Astrid isnt a romantic, I mean Hiccup is totally the hopeless romantic, but Astrid in my mind is totally a secret romantic, at least when it comes to her own relationship.

Also Toothless practicing his mating dancing by watching his shadow and studying the naddars as they danced was so adorable.

Ok ngl I actually thought Grimmel had shot Toothless in the house, and I was so happy to see that is was part of their plan and that he had back up (sorry Fishlegs I love you and you took one for the team so good on you!). Why I was surprised by this idk, I know these characters enough to know that they would pull something like that. BUT HICCUP TELLING GRIMMEL OFF AND CALLING HE OUT FOR SITTING IN STOICKS CHAIR, YES BOY. That just made the feeling of Berk being attacked and flames burning everywhere hurt so much more.

The meeting with all of Berk? Just wow, I mean first off I love that Hiccup had his whole gang up there with him, just goes to show that he really trusts them and values them as being part of the team. Astrid sticking up for my boy and Tuff just going “IM WITH HIM WHO ELSE” A plus team work, I loved the support. Not to mention the fact that Hiccup was able to convince them all to pack up what little they could carry and leave. I mean we know from the first movie that vikings are stubborn, but they are also capable of change. The fact that they left their home of 7 generations and probably left some import things they couldnt carry with them was such an amazing gesture. And Berk really is where ever the vikings are, it is not just a single island. It really hurt to see them leave the island, the place where it all started, but the fact that they all stuck together really shows how strong of a bond they have as a people.

Light fury knocking Hiccup off Toothless, such a sassy girl I love her. I mean come on Toothless was obviously gunna save him. Also the sheeps wanting to be dragons is something I never new I needed, especially after seeing how afraid of dragons they used to be (I mean the dragons did hunt them, but im all here for them cosplaying as their favorite dragons)

I JUST REMEMBERED I NEVER TALKED ABOUT FLASHBACKS SO LETS DO THAT NOW. First of little toddler Hiccup??? THE FRICKIN CUTEST THING EVER OK. I know there was a line in the trailer that wasnt in the movie the one where Stoick says something like “I believe its your destiny to find the hidden world so dragons and vikings no longer need to fight” but I wasnt sad that they didnt keep this line. I think it makes more sense to have what they did, Stoick talking about finding the hidden world so they could protect Berk from it. I mean this took place when they were still fighting dragons, so yea the line about destiny could mean he thinks Hiccup would destroy the hidden world, but the tone of the scene was so calm and relaxing that to me it gave off the vibe that Stock was implying that Hiccup would unite their worlds, which doenst make sense since again they were still at war with the dragons at this point. So I liked what they had in the movie, I think what they kept fit the tone and it still showed how Berk was at war with the dragons.

NEXT FLASHBACK. Little Hiccup just sneaking down the stairs and then his little face like “oh shit” when he saw his dad was up and trying to sneak back up. The way he said he wanted water, I JUST IT WAS SO CUTE, whoever voiced tiny hiccup good job because omg it was so cute. How happy he was to go over to his dad and sit on his lap. When he asked Stoick if he would get them a new mom, my heart just broke I mean Hiccup was so young that he didn’t fully grasp the situation, and I mean before Hiccup got caught sneaking downstairs we saw Stoick crying. That was so important to me I mean Stoick the Vast, he is massive, and remember the first movie the fact about him ripping a dragons head off as a baby? Yea this character who basically screams masculinity has yet another vulnerable scene, showing yet again that crying is ok (I mean back in the first movie when he told Hiccup he wasnt his son, and when he met Valka again?? yes please keeping showing people that being masculine doenst mean you cant cry!). Stoick teaching Hiccup about love, yes dad points for you, I adore the scenes like these, that show how much Stock loves his family, he would be so proud of Hiccup and who he has become. OH YEA SIDE NOTE HOW I FORGET HICCUPS STUFFED DRAGON? THROWBACK TO THE TV SERIES THANK YOU.

New Berk, cuz thats the best I got to call it right now, love how everyone basically immediately goes to claiming their areas ahha.

Ok Snotlout my boy did you really just say “who died and made yout Chief” because too soon, I still love you

Low key thought they were gunna make Snotlout and Eret a thing, despite the weird flirting Snotlout had with Valka. I mean he was trying to be taller than Eret, and Eret was like hah no, yall id ship it ngl eret and snotlout

Toothless meeting up with the light fury again, but this time trusting his instincts is another reminder that toothless is in fact an animal, a very intelligent animal, but an animal who has instincts and a desire to be with his own kind, I mean can you blame him? Its been at least 6 years since hes seen another dragon that was like him, maybe even longer depending on how long he was alone before he met hiccup.

The throw back to the forbidden friendship scene? With toothless drawing in the sand, and oh God I never thought I would get so emotional about sand but dang that sand animation just was so realistic that I wanted to touch it. Hiccup being like “wow now you can draw”, Toothless growling at the light fury like he did to Hiccup back in the first for stepping on his art, come on guys Toothless worked hard on his art! The light fury flying away but toothless not being able to follow her, another throwback to when he couldnt fly with the dragons during the snoggletog special.

Hiccup making toothless a tail to fly alone, and Im glad they added the part when Astrid said they tried it before, again throwback to snoggletog, and that he didnt want the tail, and Hiccup clarifying that it was because he had no need to fly alone before. Now my only worry here is that the casual fan will just think that the exchange is a copout, I mean unless you remember the special you wouldnt know that they tired making him a tail fin and he didnt want it, so to the casual fan it might seem like they only added the comment to answer the question “If hiccup could make a tail fin why did he never do it before?”. Seeing the special where toothless destroys the tail really adds a layer of depth to the scene, because those of us who saw it remember that it was a statement that even though Hiccup had the ability to create a tail so toothless could fly alone, toothless wanted to fly with his best friend and didnt care for the tail.

now the actual scene with toothless flying alone finding the light fury, first off it was so cute how he showed her his new tail! He was so proud of it, and no doubt proud of his best friend for making it. The scene itself though reminded me so much of the romantic flight, the way they flew together above the clouds and how it gave a sense of flight because we couldnt see the ground, ugg it was so beautiful. I was honestly blown away by the animation, the clouds and the color, they were all so beautiful. Toothless and the light fury flying together and really bonding, similar to Astrid and Hiccup on their first flight together, ugg all the throwbacks to the first movie really killed me. Also Toothless trying to copy the light fury and how she goes invisible was so cute, he was like “ah yes I got this, wait no shit again, no shit again again!” then he basically summons thors power of lighting and finds his new power, so proud of my baby.

Now I fully believe that Toothless was going to go back to Hiccup after he spent time with the light fury in the hidden world, no way my boy would leave my other boy without a goodbye. But the other started to freak Hiccup out, I mean Hiccup knew his best friend would come back, but the others made him doubt it and seeing him freak out was heart breaking.

Astrid being like boy hop on we gonna get yo dragon, yes girl. Honestly them going into the hidden world on Stormfly? I mean need i say anything about the animation in this scene? The visuals were just breath taking, I cannot put it into words. Tootheless being the alpha is always a win, also Astrid calling him a king and Hiccup realizing that this beautiful place of dragons, is not place for humans, because Valka said it best, greedy humans ruin everything.

Hiccup and Astrid getting caught by a dragon and then going on a fun slide ride, and of course toothless comes through as the alpha to protect his humans, ALSO STORMFLY DONT THINK I FORGOT ABOUT HER, CUZ YES. I mean just like toothless Stormyfly will protect her human best friend, and I love her.

How did I forget the next raid scene? I mean dang again the visuals and the lighting were just so spot on. Them all getting trapped? Valka being a badass and working with Cloudjumper to save them? Hiccup jumping and just escaping the clutches of Grimmels dragon? RUFFNUT

Ruffnut my girl dont think I forgot about you, I just I dont even know what to do with you. She was amazing, I mean shes just does not care, not scared that shes a prisoner, she fricking just talks about how ‘hot’ she is and just other random stuff about her life, like girl give me that confidence. But when she talked about the island i was like girl no dont do that, but her flying back and saying she doenst look back in response to being asked about being followed was pretty darn funny.

Bro the scene of the light fury and toothless getting captured? Toothless protecting her and telling the other dragons to stand down, at least until they can escape. Just heart breaking, help is so close, but I guess thats the downside of being the alpha, having that power can be used against you.

Astrid my girl, pep talking my boy Hiccup JUST LIKE THE FIRST MOVIE. And yes parallels again, just like in the first one Astrid said things to hiccup, she was very honest with him pointing out the things that had done wrong, the first pointing out how messy the situation got because of the lies, and in this movie pointing out how he constantly doubts himself, and in both Hiccup has a sassy comment regarding her pep talks, but Astrid always follows up with the good, like how he was the first viking to ride a dragon or how he was always brave, even without toothless, showing how she would always be by his side to support him and help him, especially when hes about to do something stupid. I just ugg they are couple goals, they dont even need to say I love you because they SHOW IT in their actions, in their support for eachother, their cute banters, and I am here for it. ALSO I MEAN HE KISSED HER HAIR EARLY AND THEN HER FOREHEAD THOSE ARE SO CUTE TO ME AND JUST SO NATURAL FOR THEM AHHH. Also “so what are you gunna do about it” “probably something stupid” YES YES YES I AM HERE FOR THAT SHIT

Everyone jumping off the island so they can ‘fly’ on their own, just first off so visually amazing, and second off so symbolic to me of each of them spreading their own wings and growing up into amazing people.

Fishlegs and his baby dragon, I mean come on lets be real that shit is adorable, and baby dragon had his big dragon (does that dragon have a class name? because I dont remember it) friend and Fishlegs be like dont mess with baby dragon.

Yooo I knew it, from the trailer I was like “Tuffnut is probs pissed that this dude cut off his hair beard” and boom it happned, but rip hair beard (until the end of the movie that is when it comes back)

Yall that unspoken scene where Hiccup and Astrid are just frickin shit up WHILE THEY JUST LOOK AT EACHOTHER, I MEAN HICCUP JUST CASUALLY THROWS SHIT TO START A FIRE AND THE ENTIRE TIME THEY ARE STARING AT EACHOTHER HAVE A CONVERSATION COMPLETELY WITH THEIR EYES LIKE THAT IS SOME NEXT LEVEL SHIT AND COUPLE GOALS.

I got such satisfaction out of Toothless destroying grimmels arrow shoter thing and watching as Grimmel started to get afraid, I mean this dude was so confident in his abilites, and up until now he has had the upper hand, but then you can see the “oh shit moment” as he realizes he is starting to lose and heck yea im here for it. Speaking of oh shit moments, when hiccup was riding toothless and they wer getting attacked? and then toothless is like “I SUMMON YOU THOR AND YOUR LIGHTING” and hiccup was like WTH?!!??!?!?

Ok yall that scene when toothless got shot, and hiccup is hanging from the light fury with grimmel on his leg? I mean Grimmel really thought that he had won, he underestimated the love Hiccup has for Toothless, and the moment that Hiccup told the light fury to save Toothless and he let go? the hesitation she had trying to pick who to save? her new mate, or his best friend that she now seems to understand has a great important meaning to toothless? The image of Hiccup falling, and the camera angle? I mean seeing him fall from above, seeing it in his face that he was content, content knowing that his best friend would be alive and safe and that Grimmel would no longer be able to hurt the dragons or his people? Such a self sacrifice, a true Chief just like his father.

Then the light fury to the rescue! Hiccup being like LOL BYE GRIMMLE YOU DEAD. Also reminded me of when he started to ride toothless back in the first movie and they fell and hiccup got back on his back and in control just in time, because dang she saved him his butt just before he hit the water. But seriously I loved this scene, she went back for hiccup, she saw the interactions Toothless had with him, how Toothless protected him and Astrid in the hidden world, how Toothless CHOSE HICCUP when he saw him in danger in the hidden world, she came to realize that this boy is important to Toothless, and she saw that Hiccup was willing to die for Toothless, and she went back and saved him, and God I got emotional.

Also Hiccup leaning on Astrid because he has lost his prostectic leg, yessss im here for it

NOW TO THE REAL TEAR JERKER I mean gosh you could just see the realization again in Hiccup that the dragons didnt belong with them on Berk, that even though they love the dragons and the dragons love them, even though they have worked together for years and they want to live together in peace they just cant do it safely.There are too many people out in the world who would attack berk, and we have seen that both in the movies and the show, and that puts both the people and the dragons at risk.

It was safest for everyone if the dragons went to the hidden world, where no one could find them, well expect Hiccup and Astrid who have been there once. I just cant though, that scene was just so amazing and heart crushing. I mean you can see it that Toothless doesnt want to leave his best friend, and Hiccup doenst want him to leave, but he reassures him that its ok that its best for everyone and that its time to say good bye for now, not forever though. Then oh God how Astrid follows him, because she knows hes right too, she knows that they can no longer live with their dragons safely, and she takes off Stormflys saddle and says good bye to her best friend. THEN VALKA who has lived with the dragons for 20 years, she knows too and she doenst hesitate to let Cloudjumper go free, and it made so much sense to me that she was so willing to do so even after being together for 20 years, she has protected them for 20 years so there is no doubt in my mind that Valka would do this without a second though if it meant that was the best thing for her friend. THEN OMG EVERYONE ELSE FOLLOWS THAT JUST HURT SO MUCH. I mean ever single Berkian seens what Hiccup did, and everyone knows they have a special bond, I mean they all have a special bond with their dragons, but Hiccup and Toothless are different, they were the only pair that we know of that needed each other to fly, I mean sure the other vikings needed their dragons to fly but their dragons didnt need them to fly, toothless relied on hiccup to control his tail and that bond is so special. Anyway, I just thought that all the others saw Hiccup doing this, and hes their Chief the man who started the whole riding dragons for them, so I have no doubt in my mind that they would follow his lead, and again to me they see Hiccup and Toothless doing this letting go, so they must think “If these two can do it so can I”. I just really think it shows how much the vikings truly care for their dragon friends, when you love someone you want the best for them, you want them to be happy, even if that means you need to say goodbye. And thats what happened here the vikings loved their dragons so much that they were willing to say goodbye to their friends if it meant that they would be save, and the same goes in the other direction, the dragons are not dumb and I believe they knew that leaving is what was best too, that leaving meant that their viking friends would be safer. The love they all have for each other is so amazing. I only wish that the goodbye was long, I am so bad at goodbyes and omg I just wish they had a longer time to say goodbye, not only to their dragons but to the others as well, I mean toothless saying goodbye to Astrid and Stormfly too Hiccup? uG I SUCK AT GOOD BYWS OK I JUST WANT EVERYONE TO BE ABLE TO SAY GOOD BYE TO ALL THE DRAGONS.

But man i said to myself ‘you can do it dont cry’ didnt work, I sobbed, legit sobbed, and it wasnt my normal movie cry were its just tears, it was the kind where you can feel the pain in your chest from your heart beating to hard, from trying to hold back the chocked sobs so no one else would get annoyed, although lets be real they are did the same thing so we all cried. Seeing them all fly off, AND THE REVERSE HAND TOUCH I CANNOT, THAT REALLY HURT I JUST COULDNT TAKE IT THE PARALLELS REALLY KILLED ME THE ENTIR MOVIE. Then Toothlesses look back at Hiccup, and then the long shot and seeing the massive wave of dragons, and then seening toothless following from the back as he is the last to leave, the vikings looking on with sadness and fondness for their dragons, really did come for my heart.

NOW ONTO HAPPY TIMES. the Wedding, oh my god, how lucky can a girl be? I got to see the mother of all my OTPs get married, and dang they were beautiful, and they looked so happy, it just warmed my heart to know that these two dorks who truly have a special relationship finally got married. Then Gobber called them Chief and Chiefstriss and wow really hit me hard that these two were going to lead Berk together, because they are always there to support each other. THEN that kiss so cute, and how Hiccup goes to gently cup her face with his hands, just wow my otp is the best.

Then we again have love master Tuffnut who will take Snotlout as his new student, and FISHLEGS HAS A LITTLE BABY GRUNKLE STUFFED ANIMAL IN HIS BAG. aND RUFF being like “you win i love sensitive guys” Then we have Hiccup and Astrid looking out to the sea as their friends and family come together with them, and Astrid lays her head on his shoulder so great.

Now dang my boy HICCUP WITH A BEARD??? BEARDCUP IS REAL, and he is wearing his fur cap, and Astrid looking like a frickin QUEEN, and AGAIN HOW LUCKY CAN A GIRL BE I SEE A WEDDING AND I GET CHILDREN????? MY OTP HAS TWO CHILDREN???? AND THEY ARE GORGEOUS.

buT DANG when they saw Toothless through the fog and then the light fury and then the little baby heads pop up, and you can see how happy Hiccup is. But Toothless doenst immediatly recognize him, which makes sense because I mean 10 year for humans can change the looks drastically, and hiccup has a beard now so he doenst look like what toothless remembered, plus hes the alpha and must protect his family. Astrid protecting her children like a frickin badass mom, and Zephry hidding behind her mom and Nuffink going into her chest? Ug love it, they trust their mom to protec them, and I love this to because it really shows that they are children, I mean I have no doubt that Astrid and Hiccup are going to raise them to be brave, I mean its Hiccup and Astrid, but they are still children and well they have grown in a world without dragons, different than their parents, we know at that age Astrid was fearless, I mean she wanted to fight a flightmare, but now the world has changed and they arent at war and they can raise their kids as kids, and I love that they showed that fear in the children it just gave a sense of realism to me.

Then HIccup DID THE THING with the hand and Toothless finally was like “WAIT THIS IS MY HUMAN” and his eyes went big and omg how he attacked him with kisses and licks. Then Astrids laugh to see them reunite, and them urging their kids that it was ok, and remember before when I said they would raise brave kids? Well this little cuties were afraid, but they still listened and trusted their parents, and omg Zephry was so stiff from fear and her face, and Nuffink was hiding his face, but Hiccup came and showed them how to approach Toothless, and wow here we go again with the hand touch and HIccup telling them to let him come to them, and Toothless did the thing AND OMG THEIR REACTION WAS SO CUTE. The way Zephry cocked her head and smiled, and how Nuffink dropped his hand from his face and his mouth widened in awe of his dragon.

THEN I GET TO SEE HICCUP WITH HIS SON RIDING TOOHTLESS? AND HIS SOON IS JUST MAKING THE CUTEST LITTLE WAVING MOTIONS WITH HIS HANDS. And hiccup throwing his kid in the air as he giggles in delight, and I swear I heard him say “Dada” and it killed me. Then Astrid being Astrid flys right passed them ON STORMFLY, like thank you for not forgetting about my girl, because she loves Stormfly and Stormfly loves her and seeing Astrid ride her with her daughter just made the scene even better. They could have easily forgotten about my girl, but they didnt, they didnt do her dirty, I may not have gotten to see the moment when she and Stormfly met again, BUT I SAW THEY RIDING TOGETHER AND THATS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME.

Oh yea bonus points for seeing the light fury and the babies flying with them. Then Hiccup just flys upside down dropping Nuffink on Astrids head, and ug the way he just casually clings to his mother, then I was like wow I hope Zephry gets to ride Toothless with he father, AND THEN HE PULLED UP NEXT TO THEM AND HELD OUT HIS HAND TO DO JUST THAT, dreamworks you really came through for me, thank you so much for allowing Dead and all the other hard workers of this franchise make this amazing world for us. It tore my heart apart, but I loved every second of it, and I have no regrets, it was honestly a great ending,no matter how badly it hurt and how badly I wanted them to live together forever, it was just the perfect ending with a great lesson about letting go and moving on, becoming your own person, and being happy with the memories you had, because being able to say you loved something or someone and letting them go is better than never loving them at all, thats what happend to the vikings and dragons, and thats what happened to me personally at the end of it all. I cant wait to relive the magic and watch all the movies again.

oh how could I forget? The end credits, you thought the pain ended with the end of the movie nope the credits are going to give you every major scene from each movie, reminding us where we started and where we have come to, and that was just the cherry on top of it all.

Also side note a girl sat behind me and she goes “is that a toothless plushie?” and yes it was so she asked to see it so i handed him to her and we started talking about the movie, she was able to see it during an early release boo i had work. Anyway she asks me how old i was when the first came out, and I said 16, she seemed shook and i asked her the same, she said she was 5, so if math does me right she would be about 14/15. I was older than she is currently is when the first movie came out, thats wild. Then i laughed off the age difference saying “you would never know ill be 25 in a week”, and her (i assume) mom said I looked young haha. But because of the age difference I gave her some good life advice, I told her not to care about what others think of you, Im almost 25 crying over a dragon movie that means the world to me as i sit with my dragon plushie, and her mom just agreed with me and told her to listen to me because I knew what I was saying haha. Shout out to this girl too because shes the one who told me that Hiccup and Astrids’s kids had cannon names, I had been avoiding everything I could about this movie so I was glad to be up to date on that.

Wow this took me like 2 hours to write i think? I mean yea it was mostly for me to read later in life so I can remember this day, all the photos i took before hand, and all the excitement I had, wow Hi future me! Sorry about all the grammar mistakes but Im just typing as the thoughts come, hope I didnt break your heart again as you read all this. Until next time

Riley and Maya: Complicated Parenthood - Chapter 3 (Amazing Talents)

Scene 1:

-One morning in the before/after care auditorium, Maya was hanging up a framed picture on the wall. The picture contained a large detailed flower with an abstract rainbow design behind it. From nearby, Grace walked over to Maya and spoke to him.

Grace: Hey. That's the picture I drew last Monday afternoon.

Maya: Hmm? Oh yeah. Since you left it on the table that day and Mr. Farkle asked me to redecorate the place this week, I decided to hang up one of your works. You don't mind, right?

Grace: No. But I left it on the table because I didn't want to keep it. It's not one of my best works. I mean… I never thought it be good enough to frame.

Maya: You sure? Your attention to detail and color strokes here rivals the kind of stuff I studied in college. You've got some amazing talents here Grace.

Grace: Really?

-From nearby, Smackle walked over to the two while holding a camera out. Maya and Grace then turned their heads to look at Smackle.

Smackle: Oh shoot. Don't look at me. I was trying to get a candid shot. Ugg. This is why I struggled in high school photography class… and Pokémon Snap.

Maya: Smackle, what are you doing?

Smackle: Taking some new photos of a typical day here so we can put them on the bulletin board, the brochures, and other stuff. Hey. Can you two go back to acting like I'm not here so I can get a good candid shot?

Grace: Uh…

Smackle: No. I guess we can't pull that off now, can we? Okay. Act like you two are about to track down a South African Penguin that's attempting to encourage Sailor Moon into digivolving her Blue Eyes White Dragon into a Super Saiyan.

Maya: What?

Smackle: Okay, just stand next to each other and smile.

Maya: But I…

Smackle: Just smile Maya. And put your arm around Grace like you know you love her. Now do it quick. I have to get back to instructing those students over there on how to train your dragon when it's actually a Transformer that's been previously mind controlled by Cobra in their attempt to steal the secrets of Jem and the Holograms.

Maya: You know what, okay.

Grace: Sounds fine.

-Maya and Grace then stood near each other as Maya put an arm around Grace and put his hand on her shoulder. Smackle then quickly snapped a picture on a camera.

Smackle: Okay. Thanks. I'll make sure you both get a copy of it. Now if you'll excuse me… Wait up my young friends! If you remain where you're seated, I shall also divulge to you all how the four Star Franchises: Trek, Wars, Gate, and Search all exist in the same universe!

-Maya and Grace simply stood with confused looks on their faces.

Grace: Miss Maya, is Miss Smackle having a quarter life crisis?

Maya: I don't know what's happened to her Grace.

Scene 2:

-In the afternoon right outside of a school building, Grace was standing near a curb with many other children while she was holding a clip board with one of her hands, while using her other hand to sketch a detailed layout of a forest.

Grace: And just a little more shading there… Yeah. This work is gonna be one of my most special works yet.

-Suddenly Grace noticed a bus stopping near her. Once the bus doors opened, Grace stepped onto the bus and immediately sat down in a seat. However immediately after: a taller girl named Rachel walked over to Grace and looked down at her.

Rachel: Hey. I wanted to sit there. Get out of my seat.

Grace: Anybody is allowed to sit here.

Rachel: No. Just me. That seat isn't made for a nobody like you!

-Suddenly Grace had a look of shock on her face as she tried to speak.

Grace: But… but I…

-Suddenly the two's thoughts were interrupted by the male bus driver at the front of the bus calling out the two.

Bus Driver: Rachel, just sit in the seat near her. You're holding up the line!

-Rachel with a mad face, sat in the seat closest to Grace. Rachel then looked at Grace with a look of hate and continued to speak with her.

Rachel: Why do you have be so weird? You wear old clothes, have a stupid voice, and no one ever talks to you.

-Rachel continued to speak as Grace tried to sit still and maintain a calm face. However: several small tears began to come out of Grace's eyes.

Scene 3:

-Maya walked into the before/after care auditorium and immediately saw Farkle walking over to her.

Maya: Hey. Again, sorry I'm late. That early car repair shop doesn't open as early as I thought it did.

Farkle: It's okay. Listen. I need you to go over and talk to Grace right now.

Maya: Why? What's wrong?

Farkle: She's been crying off and on all morning. And it was the same all of yesterday afternoon too. All of the other staff and I have tried talking to her but she won't say anything. You're the only one of us she actually talks with. Think you can help her out?

Maya: Well… okay.

-Maya then walked over to the table where Grace was sitting alone with her face buried into her arms that laid on the table. Maya then sat in front of Grace and spoke.

Maya: Hey Grace. What's going on?

-Grace then lifted her head up to look at Maya with tears in her eyes.

Grace: Miss Maya. Where were you yesterday?

Maya: I had to go to a dentist appointment yesterday afternoon and I'm late this morning because of some car repairs I had to get done. But… what's going on with you?

Grace: I… I was… Yesterday while I was on the bus heading to after care… some girl who gets off at another stop started saying all of these mean words about me. She made fun of my clothes, said I had a stupid voice, and said that no one ever talks to me.

Maya: Grace, I…

-More tears came from Grace's eyes as she continued to speak.

Grace: And then she said I wasn't good at anything and there was nothing special about me. I tried telling her what we learned on the field trip. About how everyone is made with a purpose and that makes them special. But then that mean girl said to me… if I'm so special… then how come I don't have any parents?

-Grace buried her head into her arms again as she began to make sobbing noises. Maya then reached her two hands forward towards Grace and began to talk to her.

Maya: Grace, I… I am so sorry to hear that you had to listen to someone talk like that to you. But you know they're not right. You are special Grace.

-Grace then lifted her head up to look at Maya again.

Grace: But why don't I have any parents then?

-Maya looked down for a moment, sighed briefly, and then looked right at Grace in the eyes and spoke.

Maya: I don't have an answer to that Grace. I don't why know you or anyone has to lose important people from their lives. But I do know that you: Grace Givens are a very talented young lady with a lot of beauty both inside and out. And I do know it's hard for you to share your talents and open up with the world because you're worried about how… you might just get hurt again. But you don't need to let the pain of this world and the worries that come from living in it keep you from doing great things in it. Pain is pain. It's going to hurt you and bring you down. But you can't let it stop you forever from doing amazing things with your life. Because you need to continue to share your amazing talents in a meaningful way with the world. Because sharing your amazing talents in a meaningful way with others… that's what really cements how special you really are.

Grace: You… you really mean that Miss Maya?

Maya: Yeah… I really do.

Grace: Um… So… um… Hey, do you know where that new box of colored pencils are?

Maya: Uh, yeah. In the supply closet. I'll get them out for you if you want.

Grace: Good. So… do you know what Sydney's favorite animal is?

Maya: Well she usually always has a cat book she carries around, so I'd have to say probably cats.

Grace: Okay. So… do you think she'd like it if I drew a picture of a cat and gave it to her for her birthday next Friday?

Maya: You know what… that sounds like a great use of your beautiful talents Grace. Now… if you excuse me, I'm gonna get those colored pencils now.

Scene 4:

-Grace stood in her bedroom near her bed as she was going through several things in her backpack. From nearby, the young boy: Sammy entered the room and walked over to Grace.

Sammy: Hi Grace. Whatcha doing?

Grace: Just organizing my stuff and… Hey. Isn't it your bedtime? What are you doing in here?

Sammy: Just seeing what you're doing.

Grace: Well go back to your room now.

Sammy: Okay.

-Sammy began to walk away but then Grace suddenly called out to him.

Grace: Wait.

-Sammy turned around to look at Grace again.

Grace: Hey Sammy. You… like jungle animals, right?

Sammy: Yeah.

Grace: Well… I have a bunch of pictures of jungle animals I drew here I don't really need. Do you want them?

Sammy: Really? Sure!

-Grace then handed Sammy several drawings. Sammy looked at them and smiled. Then he looked back up at Grace.

Sammy: Thanks. I'll hang them up in my room. But are you sure you wanna give me all of these? Now you have no pictures to hang up.

Grace: Don't worry. I still have a picture of my own I'm about to hang up.

Sammy: Okay. Thanks for everything.

-Sammy then walked out of the room while Grace went back to her backpack. Then Grace pulled out her backpack a photograph that showed herself and Maya standing together smiling. Grace then got out a thumbtack and immediately tacked the picture to the wall right near her bed. Grace then put a hand on the wall right near the picture and made a small smile.

Grace: Thanks for everything.

The crystal of my love

@sinfullyguilty123, I’m your secret Santa for the @shancesecretsanta. Your prompts were really good, I was really unsure on which to do, but cuddles are amazing. I’ll do my best and hope you enjoy. Merry Christmas.

“Allura, I thought you said these uniforms kept us warm.” Lance said, shivering in Blue.

“They do, you just freeze easily.” Allura said, her voice coming in from Lance’s com

“Can you blame me?” Lance said, taking one hand off one of the controls to rub at his arm. “And Blue, can you not sound so happy?” he asked, the utter elation Blue had being in the snow vibrating in the mind of her paladin.

“This kinda reminds me of that episode of Star Wars Clone Wars, where Luke and Obi-Wan go with this new Senator, the one with the really judgy bodyguard or boss, to try and form a bond with the yeti people. Lance, remember that?” Hunk asked.

“Ugg, yeah but they were dressed in proper attire. We’re still in our basic uniforms. We don’t even get colour coded coats or anything.” Lance complained.

“I guess living in sunny places all your life don’t help, but didn’t Garrison do like temperature training with you? I mean, you were in the fighter class.” Shiro asked. He sounded concerned he’d lose his boyfriend to frostbite.

Yeah, boyfriend. Lance still couldn’t wrap his head around it but months of pinning paid off with a bit of help from Keith, in the form of him coming up to Lance and begging Lance to tell him if he liked Shiro, because he wasn’t sure how much more pinned ranting he could take from Shiro. Which lead Lance to yelling, “Shiro likes me? Like, me?” and Keith just dragging the two of them in a room, revelling said pinning and leaving them to deal with it. While Lance didn’t appreciate getting thrown into his confession like that, it got him to find out that yes, Shiro did like him. It was awkward at first, but slowly and surely they became more confident in their relationship and god, Lance couldn’t be happier.

“Well since I took a certain someone’s place halfway through, I missed that actually.”

“Oh yeah, weren’t you supposed to redo that with Iverson?” Pidge asked.

“Yeah, but I was getting tutored to catch up so it kept getting pushed back. Iverson gave me the run down, but let’s be honest. He wasn’t planning on giving me a redo.”

“Well Iverson is an idiot, so we’ll just ignore that.” Pidge snipped

“Alright you two, we can continue our roasting of Iverson later. We’re here.” Shiro said, ignoring Lance’s whining.

“Think of it this way Lance, when we’re done, you and Shiro and go get warm together.” Pidge said, enjoying the sounds of sputtering and yells directed at her. “I meant with blankets, get you heads out the gutter.”

They landed on the planet of Prina, an ice planet with a fully functioning society. The people of the planet heard the stories of Voltron and wanted to join the Coalition. Their planet’s cold temperature made it hard for the Galra to find them so they were left alone but they didn’t want to wait, sitting until they could and left with no help.

“Remember, the Prina people want to be completely sure they can sure they can trust us. We have to show them we can. If we’re lucky, perhaps they can show us their faie crystals.” Allura instructed. “I’m not down there because I’m trusting you to be good paladins and get them to trust you by interaction, so please for the love of all things, do not scare them, threaten them or do anything that makes us seem like monsters.”

“Don’t worry Princess, we’ll make you proud.” Shiro promised, leading the group to land their lions near the large glittering castle. It reminded Lance of the castles in all the princess movies his little sister would watch all the time.

Getting out of Blue was not something Lance had been looking forward to, but a firm demand by Shiro got him moving. Thankfully it wasn’t windy, but it was still cold. Lance could feel his bottom half of his face that wasn’t covered by his helmet getting dry. Small shivers already started raking through his body and he was sure they’d increase the longer they were there.

“Why couldn’t we take the lion speeders over to the castle?” Lance complained

“Lance, we’ll be inside soon.” Shiro said, trying to pacify his very whiny and cold boyfriend.

As they got closer to the doors of the castle, two snow mounds near it moved. Rising from the snow were two guards. Their skin was blue and they looked human, if it weren’t for the other pair of hands the paladins could see hidden beneath the poncho the guards were wearing. They held spears and looked distrusting at the paladins, but they didn’t attack, they stood ready.

“State your name and purpose.”

Shiro stepped forward, his calm and confidence oozing. Lance loved watching him like this, their leader.

“My name is Shiro and I’m the Paladin of the Black Lion. We’re the Paladins of Voltron. Your leader contacted Princess Allura asking to join the coalition. We’ve come to show them we’re real and ready to accept help, in turning promising to help you whenever you need it.”

They saw the guards turn their attention to the Lions, who sat on their hunches, eyes dim as they waited for their Paladins to return.

“Beasts as big as a Skellior and just as powerful. We thought they didn’t exist.”

“We’re truly blessed. Your beasts will be safe here, come. Our queen has awaited your arrival.”

They were lead into the castle. The only ice castle Lance could think of was Elsa’s in Frozen but this didn’t have the different coloured bits like hers did. It looked like a castle in the times of King Arthur on the inside but it didn’t take away its beauty. The throne room was filled with the people of Prina, their queen on her pedestal sitting on her throne. It seemed that the women of the planet had purple skin, though they still had the same four arms and white hair as their male counterparts. The queen stood as the Paladins came towards her pedestal.

“Welcome. I am to believe you are the Paladins of Voltron?”

“Yes, your majesty. Princess Allura sends her well wishes.” Shiro answered, bowing

“And I wholeheartedly accept them. I am Queen Yukimia and I welcome you all to Prina. Thank you for accepting to meet us. I hope when you leave, we are all happy with what we leave with. Oh, you poor thing, your shivering.”

Everyone looked over to Lance who had gone from small shivers to full teeth chattering cold.

“S-sorry, don’t do well in cold.” Lance said, rubbing furiously at his arms.

“I didn’t think you did, which is why we had these made.” With a gesture, servants descended with coloured ponchos, similar to the ones the guards wore, but they were longer and looked heavier. They were also in the same colour as the Paladin’s armour. “Our young cannot regulate their temperature so they wear clothing similar to this.” she explained as the Paladins let the servants wrap the ponchos on them, Lance shoving his exposed face into the neckline.

“Thank you so much your majesty. Your generosity shines like your beauty.” Lance said, already feeling much warmer. Shiro groaned under his breath but the queen just laughed.

“I’m glad to see the warmth is doing you better. Now, who will I be talking to about joining to coalition? My people would love to meet those who aren’t busy.”

“If I may your majesty?” Shiro said, stepping forward, giving his team a look of ‘behave yourselves’.

Shiro was lead off to the side while the people swarmed the other paladins, questions escaping from their lips faster than they could answer. Shiro answered his own questions he was given, looking over every now and then to make sure things were ok. His attention kept straying to Lance, trying a gauge if he felt better. He felt bad that Lance had gotten that cold, he never realised Lance was that bad with cold weather.

“I hope I’m not boring you Black Paladin.” The queen asked, seeing his attention was drawn elsewhere.

“Oh, no. I’m sorry, just making sure my team is alright.”

“Especially the Blue Paladin? Seeing how you’re obviously very close.” Shiro looked surprised. He wasn’t being obvious was he? He was usually really good at keeping his relationship hidden to look professional. “When you noticed how badly he was shivering, you stepped closer and your arms rose a little, like you wanted to sweep him in them. When he was getting his poncho put on, you kept your eye on him and while you groaned at his flirtatious remark, you had a slight smile on your face, like you were happy he was back. Also every time you look over to check on them, he’s the first and last person you place your eyes on. Plus no one can deny the love you hold in your eyes every time you look at him.”

Shiro was impressed. While on Earth, same sex relationships within the military were more accepted than anything, they were still hidden in a way, so it didn’t look like they were favouring any one person no matter the type of relation it was. Shiro was just used to making sure no one knew about his relationship when he was working so he wouldn’t have anyone try and question his leadership, it just surprised him that the queen was able to pick up on it so easily.

“When your planet is covered in the same thing, you learn to pick up the little things very easy. I hope I didn’t upset you.”

“No, it’s just surprising.”

“It’s nice to see that love can still bloom even during war. I have yet to find someone like you found your one, so I wish you both the most amount of happiness.”

Shiro couldn’t help but smile. “Thank you your majesty. Some people might think that relationships during war are a bad thing but I can’t help but be extremely happy with Lance.”

“Then be happy you should be. I can tell you will both be happy for a very long time.”

“Shiro, I’m taking a shower first!” Lance announced once they were dismissed from debriefing.

“Pidge, save the comment,” Shiro demanded, stopping the smaller Paladin from saying anything.

“No fun.” She muttered, as she walked out. Eventually it was just him, Allura and Coran.

“So I’m glad the queen liked you all.” Allura said

“She was very welcoming. She would like to meet you before we leave.”

“I can do that. We can think of it as a rest day. You’ve all worked enough. Coran and I can handle any final details.”

“Thank you princess. Oh, I also remembered, we got to see faie crystals.”

Allura gasped. “Did you really? Are they as beautiful as they say?”

“They say faie crystals are the most beautiful crystals in the galaxy, not even Balmera Crystals live up to its beauty. To get a crystal and present it to your love is supposed to be the biggest show of your love, as the crystal glows with the amount of love you have for the person.” Coran explained. This made Allura glance over to Shiro with a questioning look in her eyes. He understood and nodded, sending Allura into a screaming mess.

“Oh Shiro, I’m so happy for you! This is a perfect excuse for a day off. Are you going to do it tomorrow?”

“Maybe? I don’t know.”

“I’m confused. What’s going on?” Coran asked.

“Shiro is planning on telling Lance he loves him.” Allura said, practically giddy.

Yes, he and Lance hadn’t said they loved each other. Well actually, Shiro hadn’t. Relationships had always been hard for him and while he was so sure Lance meant every word he said, Shiro wasn’t ready to say it back. Lance completely understood thankfully, not showering Shiro with the 3 words so he felt pressured to say the same but Shiro felt ready. He was in love with Lance, completely and wholly. He just wanted to make telling Lance special, because Lance deserved that.

“With a faie crystal? Well, my boy, the best of luck to you. I’m sure everything will go well.” Coran said, making Shiro feel embarrassed. It was no secret Lance was Coran’s favourite so hearing him sound happy for him made him feel like he got Coran’s blessing.

“I will do my best not to disturb you two. Everything will be perfect, I know it.” Allura said.

“Thanks. I better get going.”

“Yes, yes, go. Good luck.” Allura said, already pushing Shiro out the door. She listened to Shiro talk about how he wanted to say the words to Lance but didn’t feel ready and she offered as much advice as she could. It was no surprise she was happy that Shiro was going to finally do this.

Shiro got back to his room, Lance’s stuff thrown in a heap in the corner. Shiro had his gift poncho folded over his arm, where the crystal stayed hidden underneath. He hid it in the drawer under his bed and started pulling off his armour. Unlike his boyfriend, he put everything in his closet, putting Lance’s things away as well, before approaching the attached bathroom.

“Lance, are you decent?”

“I can become indecent if you want me to. But yes, I’m doing my face routine.”

Shiro opened the door and there Lance was, in his pyjamas, messaging cream onto his face. He noticed Lance’s attention go to his bare chest.

“I see you staring.”

“Can you blame me? I am in the presence of a Greek god.” Lance said, making Shiro laugh as he started the shower up, the heat from Lance’s still clinging to the walls.

“I’m sorry I didn’t realise how cold you were.”

“It’s fine. Just please don’t ask me to go down there again. I loved the ponchos the queen gave us but unless I have to, I’d rather not go back into the cold. It ruins my skin for one.”

“Well think of it this way. After we come back from the planet, it can be just you and me warming up.”

“Oh scandalise.” Lance said.

“You know what I mean mister.”

After a shower to warm up and changing into his own pyjamas, Shiro pulled Lance into bed to show him what he meant. He let Lance arranged himself close as he could to Shiro before Shiro pulled the blanket on them both and held Lance tightly. He tried not to laugh when Lance started nuzzling his neck, trying to make sure Lance did not find out about his tickle spot there.

“This is nice. I like this. We should have done this when we were let go from debriefing.” Lance said, pushing his face into Shiro’s neck more and moving from his side onto Shiro’s front, almost lying on top of him. Shiro wasn’t complaining, he liked rubbing at Lance’s back and sides, it seemed to help him relax more.

“I have a feeling if we did that, I’d be getting cold feet shoved at me.”

“I have no clue what you’re talking about.” Lance said, rubbing his feet against Shiro’s leg, making him flinch away

“Yeah right.” Shiro replied, Lance laughing at him. “I will shove snow down your shirt if you even get any ideas.”

“Ugg, no, please. My brothers loved shoving ice down our shirts when it was really hot. Snow is horrible.”

“I like it when it snows. I usually go back to Japan for New Year’s so it’s pretty cold and when we go back near the country where my grandparents live, it’s usually blanketed in snow. I guess it’s the calm quiet of it that makes it nice.”

“You should take me when this war is over.” Lance suggested.

“Yeah. I’d like that.” Shiro said, one hand reaching up to Lance’s hair and running his hand through it, feeling Lance completely relax. It wasn’t long before Lance fell asleep, Shiro following him soon after.

Lance felt his body wake up before he opened his eyes. He was no longer on top of Shiro, but lying on his side next to him. Lance liked watching Shiro sleep. His face was completely relaxed and he looked so peaceful. It was times like this that made Lance wonder how he ended up with him. To be able to see Shiro looking so vulnerable, to be able to kiss him, to be held so close to him every night.

“I love you,” he whispered, wanting nothing but to shower him in those words, but Shiro wasn’t ready to say it back. Lance understood, his past relationships were never good and he said I love you to quick. Even if he didn’t hear it, Lance could tell Shiro felt the same from the love that would be in his eyes. “I really love you.”

“Love you too.” Lance heart stopped as the sleepy words registered. Did Shiro say?

“Shiro, Shiro wake up!” he really needed to know if Shiro meant that.

“Hmm?”

“Shiro, did you just say you love me?”

Shiro blinked sleepily at Lance while his words sunk into his head. Lance watched as he became more awake and everything processed. Then his face turned completely red.

“Ugg, no! It wasn’t supposed be like this.” Shiro said, hiding his face and turning away from Lance.

“Huh? Shiro, what are you talking about? Did you actually mean that?” Shiro was silent but nodded. “Then what did you mean it wasn’t supposed to be like that?”

“I wanted, I wanted to make it special. It was the first time I was going to tell you I love you and I wanted make the first time I told you really special, not blurt it out because the first thing I think of when I wake up is you look really cute.” Shiro said, sitting up, keeping his eyes down at his lap

“Aww, you think I’m cute. Wait, how long have you known?”

“That I love you? I guess it was that time we saved that aquatic planet. You were talking to the little kids making feel better while we tried to reunite all the families and I just, I thought ‘Wow, I’m so in love with him’.”

Lance remembered that day. He remembered seeing Shiro stare at him but he could have never known Shiro was thinking.

“I was keeping it from you for longer because I wanted to make the event really special and I had an idea of what it was going to happen but I woke up and you were looking at me and looking so cute that it just, came out.”

“I mean, I kinda like how it came out. But you are ready to say it right?”

Shiro nodded looking right at Lance. “I am. And I want to give you this.” He opened the drawer under his bed and took the faie crystal out. Just like Coran had said, the crystal started to glow blue, getting brighter as he handed it to Lance. “It’s a faie crystal. The queen said that I should give it to you to show how much I love you because it glows with the amount of love I have for you.”

“It’s so bright.” Lance said almost breathless as he looked at the blue light from the crystal.

“Because I really truly love you Lance.” Shiro said, cupping Lance’s cheek with his hand. Lance hummed pleasantly, holding on to the hand on his cheek and leaned into the touch.

Shiro leaned in to kiss Lance when Lance sprang back.

“Oh my gosh, wait here!” Lance scrambled out of the bed, over Shiro’s legs and rushed out of the door, leaving Shiro hanging. He waited there hoping he didn’t do anything wrong when Lance came back in, looking nervous. Shiro could see the glow of Lance’s crystal in his hand and noticed something in Lance’s other. “Here.”

Shiro held out his hand and let Lance drop whatever he had in his hand. Shiro could feel his eyes widen when the crystal in his hand started to glow purple, just as brightly as Lance’s crystal was glowing.

“Where did you-?”

“The queen said I might like to give it to someone who’s really important to me. I wanted to give it to you, but I was gonna wait because apparently Christmas is in a month, but after you gave me this, I just had to.” Lance explained, looking happily at the glowing crystal.

They were both filling the room with such light. A light that showed their love for each other. Shiro grabbed Lance’s hand, pulling him down so he could finally kiss him.

“Lance, I love you.”

“I love you too.”

“The princess gave us the day off, any ideas?” Shiro asked, pulling Lance back in bed, after they rested the crystals on the floor next to the bed, the blue and purple mixing together.

“I can think of several, but for now, I just wanna kiss you and cuddle you and tell you I love you because I’ve got a lot I’ve wanted to say.” Lance said, resting his head against Shiro’s chest, just able to hear his heartbeat.

“Well, I’m all ears, because I want to hear every word.”

There’s a perfect word for it in spanish that I so am ashamed you all can’t understand with the full, proper meaning. Shame on you all.

I’m also pretty upset that I’m not a native english speaker because then I’d have much more (on both quantity and quality) stuff to say about this or to add. I’m not even sure that what I’ll say ahead makes sense at all, but I’m trying, haha.

I’m Going To Be A Dad?!

Authors Note: Here is the next part to my pregnancy series I’ve got going on. Thanks to @rememberstilinski @sarcasticallystilinski and @smutandahalf for looking at this and letting me know how it is. I hope you guys enjoy this, it was quite fun to write. Also, I got really excited writing the reveal. Don’t know why exactly.

Y/N’s POV

I groan as I hear Dylan’s alarm clock go off signaling him to start getting reading for work. I turn towards his side of the bed and squint my eyes due to the sun shining through the blinds.

Once my eyes get used to the light I see a magnificent sight in front of me. Dylan’s sat up rubbing the tiredness out of his eyes, his hair is messy and sticking out in every direction possible. He never wears a shirt to bed, so I always end up checking him out when we wake up together. He looks over towards me to see that I’m already awake, he smiles down at me before placing a kiss to my forehead.

“Good Morning baby.” He tells me nuzzling his face into my neck.

“Morning to you, too.” I giggle as his facial hair, that I oh so love, tickles my neck.

He removes his face from my neck and gets out of bed, starting to stretch that wonderful body of his. I bite my lip slightly, my eyes running down his entire body and I groan in frustration.

“Why must you do that to me?” I ask chuckling slightly grabbing one of his pillows, hugging it and inhaling his scent.

“I’m just stretching. Is that a crime now?” He asks with humor in his voice.

“It is when you look hella fine babe.” I mention giving him one of my signature winks while giggling. He laughs going over to the walk in closet to get dressed as I head to the bathroom turning the water on preparing to take a shower. A nauseous wave hits and I lean against the sink taking deep breaths. Dylan walks into the bathroom and immediately becomes worried.

“Babe? Hey, you okay?” He asks concerned.

“Huh? Oh, yeah. I’m fine. Just been feeling sick for the past few days, nothing contagious babe.” I smile slightly at him and he rubs my back.

“Are you sure? Maybe you should go see a doctor, you know, just in case it’s something worse. I don’t want anything bad happening to you. I love you too much to let you go now.” He tells me while rubbing his fingertips up and down my back slowly.

“Uh, yeah. I’ve already thought of that, babe. I’m going to see one today around lunch time.” I wrap my arms around his waist placing my head on his chest.

“Good.” He told me placing a kiss on my forehead. I nod against his chest as we just stand there in each other’s arms for a minute or two. He moves his hands to my arms pulling away and I give him my best pouting face.

“Don’t give me that look, baby. I really need to go.” He smiles down at me rubbing his hands on my cheeks before giving me a passionate kiss to the lips.

“I love you, Dylan.” I tell him after I pull away from the kiss.

“I love you too, baby girl.” He places a sweet kiss to my nose. “Call me when you get out of your appointment okay?” I nod my head in answer as he kisses me goodbye before heading out.

I strip of my clothes getting into the shower and just stand there for five minutes enjoying the hot water against my soft skin. I think back to what Dylan said earlier, “I love you to much too let you go now,” I smile at the memory, feeling my heart skip a beat slightly. I lather my hair with shampoo before rinsing it out then I start washing my body with Dylan’s favorite body wash which is coconut scented. I rinse the soap off my body and turn off the water before grabbing my towel, wrapping it around me. I walk into the closet grabbing one of Dylan’s flannels and a pair of leggings heading back into the room. I slip on my panties and bra before putting his flannel on and my leggings. I walk into the bathroom to brush my hair and teeth while swaying my hips to the music in my head. I rinse my mouth out with water, grabbing my phone off of my night stand heading downstairs. I slip my Uggs on, grabbing my keys heading out the door locking it behind me.

I start my car, putting my seatbelt on driving to the OB/GYN office. I park my car heading into the building.

“Hi. Can I help you?” The receptionist greets me happily.

“Yes. Hi, I’m here to see Dr. Caitlin Wu, for my noon appointment.” I tell her.

“Ah yes! I’ll call you in once she’s ready.” She smiles at me and I nod in agreement taking a seat. I take my phone out shooting Dylan a text saying, “I just got to the doctors, shouldn’t take that long. I love you so much xx.” I go online to the MLB website to order a Met’s baby onesie for Dyl’s birthday. I smile as I finished my order thinking of how Dylan’s going to react to it. My thoughts are interrupted when my phone dings to notify me of a text message. I open my messages seeing that Dylan texted me back saying, “I love you too baby girl. Let me know if anything is wrong.” I smile, biting my lip slightly as I send two kissing emoticons. I jump slightly as the receptionist calls out my name.

“Y/N, the doctor will see you now.” I smile and thank her quietly heading back into one of the exam rooms. I sit on the table kicking my legs back and forth waiting for the doctor to come in.

“Hi Y/N. I haven’t seen you since you first came in, how’ve you been?” Dr. Wu asks coming into the room closing the door.

“Pretty good.” I tell her smiling sweetly.

“So, what brings you in today?” She asks bringing an office chair over to me sitting in it.

“Uhm, I’ve been experiencing symptoms of morning sickness, nausea, and I’ve gained a few pounds. I bought some pregnancy tests and it tells me I’m pregnant, so I just wanted to confirm it.” I mention with a small smile on my face.

“Aw that’s great,” she gets up gathering a specimen cup handing it to me, “I’ll just need you to give me a urine sample. There’s a restroom right outside the door to the left.” I nod standing up, heading into the bathroom providing the sample. I wash my hands coming back out handing her the cup. She smiles at me as she takes the cup in my hand and puts it into a biohazard bag.

“Just wait right here and I’ll be right back.” She walks out with the sample and I take a seat back on the table. I check my phone to see what time it is, 12:50. She comes back in ten minutes later with what I’m assuming are the results.

“So it is indeed that you are pregnant. Four weeks to be precise. I want you to come back in a few weeks for checkups on the baby and we’ll do a sonogram, okay?”

“Okay sounds good. I can come back on the first of September at noon.” I tell her gathering my stuff.

“Perfect! I’ll see you then Y/N. Have a great day!” Dr. Wu tells me and I leave the room walking out of the building.

I unlock my car getting in dialing Dylan’s number.

“Y/N? Hey!” A girly voice answers and I immediately recognize it as Holland.

“Hey, Holl, is Dylan filming?” I ask.

“Yes he is. He told us that you went to the doctors. Is everything okay?”

“Yeah, everything is fine. Don’t tell him because it’s a surprise, but I’m pregnant.” I smile.

“Oh my gosh Y/N that’s amazing! So, Dylan doesn’t know yet?”

“No, I just bought a Met’s baby onesie for his birthday on Saturday. I’m really nervous about it though.” I tell in all honesty.

“Aw that’s adorable! I’m sure he’ll love it. He talks about you all the time.”

“He does?” I ask and my heart skips a beat and my cheeks get warm.

“Yes! He always mentions how amazing you are and how much he loves you. It’s adorably disgusting really.” She laughs and I hear Dyl yell at Holland asking who she was talking to.

“It’s Y/N!” She yells and I hear running on the other end and a yelp, “Y/N? Is everything okay?”

“Everything is fine, Dyl. I’m heading home now, okay?” I tell him starting my car.

“Okay. I love you.” He tells me softly.

“I love you, too, Dyl.” A smile appears on my face as the words spew out of my mouth.

“I’ll see you after work okay, baby?”

“Okay. See you then babe.” I hang up and drive back to the house.

*Dylan’s Birthday*

I sit on my bed wrapping Dyl’s presents. I got him a David Wright jersey, along with the Met’s baby onesie, and the ultimate box collection of Star Wars that he’s been wanting. I hear a knock on the door and I get up placing a blanket on all the gifts before opening the door. I let out a breath of relief seeing that it’s Holl and KD.

“Hey girls, come in. I’m just finishing wrapping Dylan’s presents up.” I tell them and close the door after they walk in. I sit back on the bed and remove the blanket revealing the stuff I bought.

“Oh my god Y/N this is so cute.” Holl picks up the baby onesie and squeals. I giggle grabbing it from her hands before putting it in a gift bag placing tissue paper over it.

“Yeah, I hope he loves it. I’m still super nervous to tell him, but I can’t exactly keep it from him.” I mention as I finish wrapping his last present.

“Like I told you the day you found out, he’s going to love it. I promise. C’mon, everyone’s downstairs.” KD tells me grabbing one of the presents as Holland grabs the other. We head downstairs placing the presents on the coffee table.

I head into the kitchen seeing Dylan talking to T-Pose, Shelley, Tyler, Will, Thomas, and Ki Hong. Kaya couldn’t make it because her husband had a family barbeque.

“Hey, baby. Do you want to do presents now” I ask him rubbing my hand on his arm.

“Yeah, we can do that.” Dylan grabs my hand bringing me and everyone else into the living room.

“This one is from KD and I.” T-Pose says smiling handing Dyl a gift bag. Dylan reaches into the bag pulling out a twenty-five ounce bottle of The Kraken. I mutter an “oh god” as Dylan laughs and places the bottle onto the coffee table.

“Oh, man. Thanks guys, I will probably never drink this!” Dylan tells T-Pose chuckling.

Tyler hands him a small box and Dylan opens revealing a really nice watch. “Oh, dude this is nice. Thanks so much!” Dylan smiles over at Tyler.

“You’re welcome, man.” Tyler says smiling.

“So, I totally forgot to get you something, but this card portrays my love for you man.” Will mentions handing him the card laughing. Dylan opens it and inside there was a picture of the Maze Runner cast and a smile appears on his face.

“This is great, dude. I love it.” Dylan tells Will placing the card on the table.

“Here you go, bud.” Thomas hands Dylan a medium sized cylinder shaped present. He rips the wrapping paper off revealing a Star Wars R2-D2 insulated koozie.

“Oh, dude. This is amazing. Holy shit where’d you get this!?” Dylan asks.

“I found it on Amazon and immediately thought of you, since you love Star Wars.” Thomas replies with a smile on his face.

Ki Hong was the next person to give Dylan his gift. Dyl smiles at Ki Hong before opening it to find our favorite game, Cards Against Humanity. Dylan laughs at the memories all of us had playing this game and thanked Ki Hong. Shelley hands her gift to him next and you can clearly tell she’s excited with the big smile she has on her face. He opens it and it’s a ceramic baseball field that says “Play Ball” and looks to be where you put your keys.

“Aw Shell, this is awesome thank you.” Dylan says.

Holland gives Dylan an envelope and opens it revealing a card with a Texas Roadhouse gift card in it.

“Oh sweet I love going here. Thanks, Holl!” Dylan looks over at me as I grab the first one giving it to him. He smiles at me sweetly taking it and rips the wrapping paper off. He pulls out a David Wright jersey and his eyes light up.

“Babe, this is amazing.” Dylan tells me.

“I have a few more.” I grab another gift giving it to him. He opens it exposing the Star Wars cover.

“You know me so well babe.” He smiles at me placing a kiss on my cheek. I giggle grabbing the gift back with the baby onesie in it getting butterflies in my stomach as I hand it to him. He grabs the card first opening it and Holland asks him to read it out loud.

“Happy Birthday, baby, you’re going to make a great daddy one day.” His eyebrows knit

together and reaches into the bag pulling out the Met’s baby onesie. I hear a few gasps from our friends, but I keep my eyes on Dylan as he softly rubs the material of the onesie. He looks over at me as a few tears pool in my eyes.

“Am I going to be a dad?” He asks softly, almost in a whisper. I nod my head with a small smile and his hands grab my cheeks as he places a soft passionate kiss on my lips, I giggle against his lips as I kiss him back. He pulls away a huge smile forming on his lips bringing his hands to my tummy.

“This is great. Oh my god,” he looks at everyone in the room, “I’m going to be a dad,” he looks back over at me, “I love you so much and I can’t wait for our little bean to get here.” All of our friends go up congratulating Dylan and I by giving us hugs and kisses to the cheeks. After playing a few rounds of Cards Against Humanity sharing many laughs together before everyone left. Dylan locks the door after our friends leave stalking over to me pulling me into a hug.

“I can’t believe we’re going to be parents,” he looks down at me. “Is that why you went to the doctors last week?”

“Yeah. I wanted to make sure that I was actually pregnant even though I had all of the symptoms. I’m about four weeks along.” I smile up at him running my fingers through his hair. “I was also really nervous to tell you.” I mention.

“Why? This is great. I mean I know we’re not married, but I hope you know that I do want to marry you someday.” He rubs his thumb against my cheek.

“You do?” I ask placing my hand over his that is placed on my cheek.

“Of course I do. I honestly don’t think I can live without you. You make me the happiest man in the world. I’m so in love with you.” He tells me and happy tears fall down my cheeks and he wipes them away.

“I’m so so in love with you, Dylan. You make me the happiest woman in the world and I wouldn’t ever want to think of a world where you’re not in it.” I whisper pulling his face closer to mine placing a sweet kiss to his lips.
