Wymack, Bee, Nicky and Kevin are so underrated in regards to how fundamentally they helped Andrew. Without them Andrew would never have anyone to even take a chance at him. Without Wymack, he wouldn’t have college and exy, without nicky he wouldn’t even have a “home”, without Bee, Andrew’s mental state would have been way way worse, and without Kevin, Andrew wouldn’t have a purpose.

Neil may be the catalyst and Andrew’s main reason to actually live. But these four people (and Aaron) are Andrew’s cornerstones, his foundation, are what’s holding him up before Neil josten even existed.

The thing about tumblr is that there’s a panic about how the site is dying and falling apart literally every other week so eventually if you’ve been here long enough you just get zen about it. Idk if this is a hot take but why is it always “Kai slaved away and worked his ass off to raise his sister” and never the other way round or them working hard together?

Like, I know he’s older but in the show, does he really… act older? Like if you think about Kai and Nya’s dynamic yknow? Because from my understanding:

When Kai and Nya are introduced we see Kai fail at making a sword and Nya being the one to chide him for it. Kai makes an overconfident statement about wanting to be a better blacksmith than his father. This suggests that one, Kai is rather rash as well as inexperienced (something that lines up with the rest of his character arc in the pots and also generally), with Nya being the more mature figure in contrast

Also just a note but in the shorts: “I can handle it!” “No you can’t, stupid”

Kai frequently being very good at neglecting people or things: leaving Lloyd at an arcade whilst being focused on finding samurai x, not even knowing samurai x was Nya or that she only did it because she felt left out by him, completely abandoning both Nya and Lloyd in s3 (and Ik he was going through it at the time, but in line with the fandom’s characterisation of him)

Kai in season 5: “After I lost my dad, I lost my way. But I was lucky to have my sister watch over me”

Generally, their dynamic isn’t one where Kai really provides for Nya at all. In fact, judging by the fact that Nya can make entire mechs and Kai struggled to make a sword, Nya was probably busting her ass to provide for Kai. And judging by the s5 quote, that’s probably true. I’m not saying Nya raised Kai, it just rubs me the wrong way when she’s treated like a decorative flourish to a narrative that paints Kai as a burnt out child who was forced to grow up too soon especially since that is such a mischaracterisation of him in the first place.

Aaaaanywaysss, Y/N, or rather, You are a part of an organization that cleans the ocean! I wanna do more info abt this, but I feel like that deserves it’s own post. (Also the urge to write a Fanfiction based on this specific AU is strong VERY STRONG)

It also seems that this organization has gotten the attention of some particular mer….and their main focus is on you.

More abt this au:

Basically everyone gets their own little paddle boats, which are kinda like big surf boards but they were definitely built to be more boat like. The little shade/roof thingy can be moved or altered, it’s basically a little sail, but considering the job, it’s used more as a shade provider. Everyone gets mesh bags to clip to their belts, and then you go below the surface and collect trash, putting it in the mesh bags. Two bags for trash, and one for things the diver could determine as valuable. You come back up to your little boat, deposit what’s in your bags to buckets, boxes or a larger tighter mesh bag. When your boat is full, you return to the organization’s main boat for your team. They haul up the trash you’ve collected then you can continue collecting. The organization gets paid for cleanup, so this is basically your job. They have multiple fleets around the shore, but your team is the smallest. A small crew runs the main ship, and you and some other members run the small paddle boat fleet, collecting trash. If an area is deemed clean, then the boat will move to a new location nearby (all of which is chartered on a grid map) All the little paddle boats get raised and the swimmers will return to the main boat.

Everyday when the boat releases from the dock in the morning, a couple of swimmers will lower their paddle boats and explore through their commute or places they have cleaned already to check for anything new. If an area seems recently or majorly littered then the rest of the swimmers will deploy to help clean. If everything is all good the boat will continue to an uncleaned sanction of their map.

Your specific team isn’t just small, but it’s rather isolated from the rest of the organization. Considering every team is made up of the town they were assigned to, it makes sense your team would be small and isolated. A small coastal town is where your team is located, far from the rest of the teams. Which means a lot more attention from merfolk gets put on your team than on other teams in the organization.

It also means y’all get paid a lot to clean up after town events or major celebrations that are held near the shore, on docks, or out on boats. You can afford to live comfortably while doing something you love.

It’s honestly making me wonder how much purity culture has seeped into the fabric of even the Whump community, that people feel the need to explicitly state what I would have accepted as an easily presumed given. When did we get to a point where we have to preface any conversation by stating that we don’t condone irl violence, lest someone accuse us of immorality?

typical Bats-don’t-know-he’s-Jason Red Hood surprise kidnaps Robin but has to wait to do his dramatic monologuing because the little bird is unconscious from where Jason found him with human traffickers. Hours pass, and the kid not stirring begrudgingly makes Jason feel a tinge of worry, which no, he doesn’t appreciate. He’d planned to beat the kid senseless, and now he’s here stuck with him while not being able to, kid is hurt already. Aaand why was that really? The time is the factor that gives Jason the space he needs to really ponder over where exactly Robin had been when he’d found him, how easy it had been to take him and why Batman had not been there to stop him.

among many others just,, imagine Jason seeing Robin for what he is, for what he was, and having a mini crisis about whether is okay to be mad with a kid who in this sorta mirror scenario batman was also not here to protect and stop the man who kidnapped him in the first place. …he recalls how he used to feel when he was the one hiding behind Batman’s shadow and well, he’s cringing over wanting to see this kid who’s wounds he wrapped boded against him. Now Tim’s perspective,, poor kid is super confused in the little time he’s been awake because the man B has been worrying about for months is asking why wasn’t he with Batman?? asking if the man had forgotten what happened to the last boy who worn those colors? if he even cared?? really just, picture Tim having to hear this random crime lord sounding all angry and hateful and making allusions to his predecessor’s fate and run as Robin without even waiting for any input (like this is a version of the dramatic monologue let my boy ramble) and 0 to 100 passing from panic alarm fear you know who we are?? to what the fuck are you defending me?? you mad in my behalf?in Jason’s?? what is this shit

About the event:

So, the reason I wanted to do this event is because I feel my skills are in need of improvement for several reasons. You are welcome to request anyone (except for the kids in genshin) for me to write for. My goal here is to write something as close to canon as possible with the themes and tropes of your choosing, and with whatever character you request.

I have a problem with finishing media, because i never want it to end. (i never finished the last season of voltron for example)

These are some concept sketch for a TMA Oc named Elliot Allan (I don’t know if there are any notable characters with the last name Allan so whatever-) she is a ecologist and dabbles in articulating (taxidermy but it’s just the bones- it’s super cool-) on the side. From what I’ve gathered so far she also comes from a rich family (Elliot is a nepo baby) and won’t shut up about it. I want to make her an avatar and before I go ahead and draw more and refine her character design more I want to consider what fear she might be the avatar for- if anyone has suggestions please I’d love to hear it before I cave and make her either Lonely

my summer vacation is gonna be WILDDDDD this year oh my god. First I have 2 week and a half long vacations with my dad because my brother is getting married. THEN. I’m going on a cruise with my mom and THEN at the end of summer I’m getting knee surgery because apparently I have like 3 different somewhat serious conditions going on all at once IN 1 SINGLE KNEE what the HELL MAN 😭😭😭

anyways yeah art is probably gonna be slowing down a LOT over summer and I don’t think I’ll be able to participate in artfight this year. Maybe a little but if I do then I’m gonna be focusing on close friends only really LMFAO

okay so. overall!! and i’d love to know your thoughts on this logan….. i firmly believe that satoru is the type to love one single person for the rest of his life. he never moves on from them. once someone has earned his love and nestled their way into his heart they’re there to stay. (and i’d argue that it’s kinda supported by canon yk… satoru hanging on to his memories of youth/suguru no matter how much time passes :’3)… so!! yeah!!! i definitely think he’d stay in love with his bestie forever, even if he knew fully well his feelings wouldn’t be returned. that’s just my take though!!!

i thinkkkk the tricky part is just. how satoru feels about it. a part of me wants to say that he handles it decently, that he’s happy just to be around you… but i think it’s also natural for him to feel a little empty about it all. bc he truly is!! a loverboy!!! deep down he yearns so badly for intimacy :(((( satoru is just such a pro at isolating himself and i think it gets worse in this kind of scenario. he loves you but does keep a certain distance i think…. to make it easier for himself and also so he doesn’t mess anything up for you. but he can never keep himself away for too long……

ok so we’re circling back to sugu now. i think satoru would handle the situation a lot better if suguru and you were together. my stsg-infested brain just can’t imagine an au where he isn’t at least a little bit in love with suguru…. and i think seeing two people he loves and trusts with all his heart be together doesn’t bother him nearly as much as it would have if you were with a random third party. there’s this One quote i like from . um….. a voice actor. of a character. in… ohshc 👉👈 AND I JUST THINK IT FITS IN THIS SCENARIO OK…….. :’3

I think Kyoya is very much in love with Tamaki and with Haruhi. He’s very much in love with the both of them. And I think it matures to a point where he would much prefer to see the both of them together than him with either one. Because they make more sense together than he makes with anybody else.

i think that’s sort of how he’d feel!!! there’s a kind of maturity there that satoru has imo. and since he’s so close to both of you, he doesn’t have to worry about being pushed out of your life (which might be his biggest worry in a scenario where you’re together with a random third party)…… so. yeah!!! would it be angsty? yes ofc. but i rlly do see satoru as a mature character, and also often selfless!!! he just respects you and your choices so much :(((

……….. what i will say. is that if you happened to get together with someone who didn’t treat you well. he would Shut That Shit Down instantly <3333 we love angry protective satoru !!!!!!!!
