This was hell.

You don’t quite remember how this started, but it didn’t matter as the taste of dirt filled your mouth once more. You would think you’d be used to it by now - with your soulmate being a mischievous psychic, but, alas, it seemed like your poor taste buds would never adjust. You held back a cough, shooting a glare to your right where your eyes met with empty magenta ones hiding behind green glasses and a small smile dancing on his lips. Of course, he couldn’t taste it, and you had to suffer alone. 

“If you’re not careful I’ll begin to associate math with the taste of dirt, you know. As if it isn’t bad enough,” you whispered, transferring your glare down to the worksheet in front of you.

It was cold today. Final exams were coming up, and you needed to focus, being on the verge of failing and all. A cozy picnic table underneath a bare tree seemed like the best place to focus for the duration of your lunch break until you noticed the pink hair and antennae following behind you. Being around him outside was always dangerous. Saiki loves you, he really does and you know it, but he always seemed set on forcing you to taste the most disgusting thing he can think of. 

It became like a little ritual every time you saw each other, trying to get the other to scrunch up their face in disgust as much as possible. Most couples would eat sweet candies or fresh fruit as an act to demonstrate their love for the other - you and Saiki on the other hand: anything from dish soap to spoiled milk. Nothing was off the table, as long as it wouldn’t put you in any danger. Saiki, on the other hand, can eat just about anything.

You reached a hand into your bag sitting beside you, determined to get your revenge and taking great pleasure in the fearful expression that overtook Saiki’s face. He could read your mind. A small bottle of hot sauce was inside, and you knew Saiki couldn’t handle the heat. Swiftly, you drank it, thankful you weren’t the one that had to face the consequences of your actions. Saiki’s face rarely betrayed him, but the red on his cheeks from the heat of the hot sauce always brought joy. 

“You’re lucky it’s just hot sauce. I could always go a step further, you know,” you teased. “You wouldn’t dare,” quickly shot through your head. Turning your head, mustering a serious face, you replied, “Oh, but I would.” He knew you wouldn’t. Now smiling, you focused your attention back on the math equations in front of you; they no longer seemed so bad.

It was dark now, and you finally made your way home to the safety of your bed. Your eyes blink open slowly as an unbearable taste overtakes your senses - what on earth was he eating? You reach for your phone to call him and find out, but you don’t want to give him the satisfaction of knowing it got to you.

Your resolve broke after fifteen minutes of torture. You brought your phone to your ear and demanded he stops, threatening to find something far worse to lick if he doesn’t. When the taste doesn’t fade, you reach into your nightstand door and pull out a certain pack of jelly beans. You never quite understood this challenge; there was no reason to try them unless you hate your soulmate. They were perfect for an occasion such as this, though. You poured a handful into your mouth without much thought, taking your time to chew them slowly and with far more thought. 

Once you heard coughing over the phone, you finally decided he had enough and stopped eating any more jelly beans. 

"Goodnight," you heard from your phone. "Night," you replied, but neither of you hung up.

I really love seeing all the scp scarian stuff. It’s just so absolutely beautiful! But here’s a new little idea, which is very similar ima ngl.

Oki, so, no one is captured (love that for them). They’re all just free lil people. Grian’s still a harpy and gets to live with his family, Pearl, Jimmy, and Jimmy’s mate(s) (can be Scott, Tango, both, or someone else. What ever y’alls heart desire). Scar, on the other hand, is a completely normal human who likes to con people.

One day, Scar gets into a bit of trouble in town and ditches it to go into hiding. In the forest. Always a bad idea. Just so happen he ends up there right when mating season for harpies is about to begin.

Grian is, understandably, not very happy during mating season as he has no mate. Jimmy has his mate(s) and Pearl has prolly been courting some other person or maybe just doesn’t experience it and asexual (which we love to see).

Anywho, so Grian is just wandering the forest when he sees Scar. Of course, he stays out of range, choosing to watch Scar as he makes a little camp and takes care of his cat. The back of Grian’s brain is tingling, aka his instincts. And well, obviously since mating season is coming up, of course they’d love someone who seems to be nurturing, since they could nurture their future hatchlings.

As Grian watches, instincts are kinda like “mine” to Scar. And Scar is completely oblivious to everything happening. He’s just living his best life as one does. Then, Grian decides to approach, just wanting to meet this fine fellow. The two get to chatting and Grian’s like “yeah this one.”

Next day rolls around, Grian makes sure his feathers look extra nice, and brings along some of the shiniest trinkets from his collection to give as courting gifts. Scar seemed pretty happy with the gifts, making Grian’s feathers puffy. The two continue to get to know each other, Grian also doing courting stuff to try and get Scar interested.

Finally, it’s mating season. And Grian really wants Scar, but they’re also not mated yet and Grian’s not gonna just force himself on Scar. So he stays in his nest to try and ride it out. That was until Scar came over to check on Grian. Through gritted teeth, Grian explains to him what’s going on and Scar seemed happy to be Grian’s mate.

So yeah, it didn’t take long for Grian to mount him. And they live happily ever after. I know, so moving. Also y’all can totally add eggpreg if y’all want.

i think that they were in very different, idealistically conflicting places for most of their canon interactions. in a way that just kind of wasn’t reconciliable for most of canon (in my memory, i haven’t watched in a while). not that this doesn’t work as a shipping dynamic, it’s just kind of not for me.

2. What would have made you like it?

they just had very limited interactions, so i think if they spent more time together i could have come around to it. i think if that episode where the entire party fumbled every social interaction had gone slightly different, i could have seen it as having a reasonable avenue from that point.

3. Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?

i really liked cinderella as an npc. i really liked their interactions in episode 4 when cinderella explained the wacky multiverse shit. i think they had cool possibilities and i do enjoy the idea of princesses “destined” to be “saved” by men taking matters into their own hands.

Right HELLO! I been out for a few days haha sorry ya missed me! Saturday’s my off day and I went to an art museum yesterday to see my works! (And the many others) Also been working on my hair a lot this weekend and stuff to get it done and out the way for the next month, so sorry I’m late! But I’m here now!

Tw for gore, because Corey DEFINITELY didn’t get away unscathed!!!

Cory’s story isn’t super complex, they mostly just wanted to provide for their family!

Corey was an adventurer for hire, in simplest terms. He would go and join other adventuring teams for short quests. They never really stuck with a single group for longer than one or two quests, always on the move, and only taking a fairly small cut of the reward as compensation. Corey’s mentality is that others have families they need to feed too, he doesn’t need as much for his small family than others may need for theirs. His family consists of his mother and his little sister. he loves them dearly. Corey knows the work they do is dangerous, but he genuinely enjoys what he does, and is the main breadwinner of his family.

When Corey was betrayed and left for dead in Dread Caverns, everyone thought they died. His mother and sister were distraught. They tried to murder him so they could have just that little bit more of the money. It was their greed that pushed them to commit murder. Obviously, they told the guild it was an accident in the cave that lead to his death.

Though nobody knew, Corey WAS still alive, technically. He tried for months to find a way to get out, but with his limited range of movement, it proved too difficult to climb out of the caves on his own. Though there was ONE good outcome from his being betrayed: now having no heartbeat, he was basically invisible to the beasts that roamed the cave system. The same beasts that feed off of the fear of their prey. The first person to find him came soon after they realized this. Some random adventurer, trying to collect minerals and resources from the cave in order to study it’s properties. Corey tried approaching this person to ask for help, but as soon as he stepped closer, they freaked out. Corey is, quite literally, walking death. He has his head smashed in, cuts all over him, his lip split in half, dried blood running down his face, and even the limping walk of a zombie. To be completely fair, seeing him come at you in a dark cave like that, I don’t really blame the guy for practically pissing his pants! It doesn’t really help that Corey is partially mute, only really able to get out short sentences at a time, so on top of it all, he was completely silent walking forward XD

The adventurer practically bolted out of the cave after that, and told the guild. Thus birthed the rumor of the “King of Fear”, believed to be behind the properties of Dread Caverns.

Many would come over the next few years, none of them willing to listen to reason. They tried to kill Corey. Out of self defense, Corey ended up killing them.

He would rack up quite the kill count before Brook came along. Corey hates what he’s had to do, and hates that he’s begun to kind of like it in a twisted weird way. They hate themself because of this. They feel evil. They think they’ve started going insane. Being isolated in the dark for years with only the occasional battle, it was akin to torture.

Brook, even while terrified out of her mind, was the first one to actually stop and listen to him. She helped him to escape and finally see the light of day after years underground.

To answer your last question, yeah I’m mostly working on schoolwork right now haha! But I’m also working on a new profile picture since the one I have currently was originally made for Halloween XD I’ll finish it soon and post it for you guys to see when it’s done!

Ummmm so…it’s been a few years lol

If you were in the fandom around 2017 (so 5 years ago!?!), firstly, omg this show has been going on for soooo long. And secondly, you may have read this fanfiction AU where Adrienette were childhood best friends.

So - after remember this is still a thing that I have - I’ve recently logged into my old Wattpad account to find that I have not posted since 2017. Moreover, to make matters even more embarrassing, my last post left everyone on a cliffhanger -oop.

Ummm so, I feel kind of bad haha and I do think an ending (or at least a resolution to the cliffhanger) is necessary. Also, I’ve just recently thought about trying out creative writing again so we’ll see if my writing has improved since then haha. Hopefully, age has helped. However, I still seem to be obsessing over the love between a blueberry and a banana so I don’t suppose much has truly changed.

Anyway, this was a very long-winded way of me saying that I do want to finish this story I’ve written (and I do believe my 2017 self did have the ending all planned out so need to find that haha).

If I were you, I wouldn’t expect any new chapters soon (sorry lol). I’m going to have a read of what I have posted so far, attempt to find any drafts I’ve written from 2017, and actually start writing the end of the story. I think I’ll strive to write the full story wrapped up before posting again but I might post some “behind the scenes” over here if any of you are actually interested lol.

Finally, I would like to thank anyone who has read my teenage self’s rambles and to those who liked and commented on it. Omg look at those numbers!! I hope it sparked a bit of joy in your life. I do recall enjoying writing and seeing all the feedback and positive messages. I also did (and still do) enjoy reading fanfiction. It’s always been my greatest secret haha but also my greatest joy (cheesy but true). I hope finishing this story can bring some joy to at least one of you out there. I know it’s going to be nostalgic for me.

preferred beverage on a hot day: your answer of mango smoothie was absolutely excellent, I always forget smoothies are an option hehe. my answer would be starbucks strawberry acai lemonade, but the secret is to have them add raspberry syrup to it

fictional world/place to go to: this is kind of a bad answer since it's technically a place in real life but I just went there irl so I'll say richmond from ted lesso is such a cute little town and I wish I could go back

any job: I've been desperate for some sort of creative sort of project, so any sort of job where I could tell an artistic sort of story, like a podcast or videos or something (although I get so frustrated with proper video cameras lol). more realistically I could see myself doing something with graphic design and branding, which has an element of storytelling to it at least

how was my vacation: my vacation was good!! it was amazing to see my family again and we had a lot of fun (even though my parents had a lot of travel difficulties). we also ate some really good food, I eat way better when my parents are paying for it hehe. at the same time, I haven't really had a moment to myself for a couple weeks now and I'm relieved to finally be alone again

holiday plans: unfortunately we didn't really do much for the holidays, I kinda feel like hanukkah didn't happen this year tbh. my sibling was with me for new year's which was kinda fun, we had some wine and stayed up for the fireworks, but honestly now that I'm finally alone again I'm treating this as my new year's, do a bit of self care and reset my life and whatnot.

2022 recap: saw one of my best friends for the first time since before the pandemic, wrote my senior thesis, graduated undergrad, had a lot of big work accomplishments I'm very proud of, got into grad school, and moved to a new country!! there's still a lot I wish I had done and hope to do in the new year, but all in all, 2022 was tough but positive, and I'm looking forward to the things I'll achieve in 2023 (dissertation, finishing grad school, finding a job, finally settling down, etc etc)!!

A/n: ofc shawty, thanks for sending :>  I never usually see people write about periods so I didn't really know what to do with this one... Remember to drink water and do a bit of exercise! (I know nobody feels like doing that on their period but it might make you feel better lol) Asks are still open and I'm working on making a bingo thing so look out!

Summary: After having a rough day at work (and on your period i might add) Connor helps you relax at home.

Connor noticed something was wrong. He was staring at you, as he usually does, and noticed the change in your body. You crossed your legs and leaned forward, as if you were really interested in your screen all of a sudden. 

Connor stood and crossed to your desk, “how are you doing y/n?”

“I’m fine,” you smiled, “what about you?”

“I’m doing good, thanks for asking,” he recited, leaning forward, “are you sure you’re fine? Your body temperature has increased and you seem restless.”

“I’m sure Connor!” you snapped, going back to your work.

He analyzed your behavior and body language, “apologies, I didn’t mean to upset you.”

“That’s- It’s alright Connor. I just need to finish this, we’ll talk after work alright?”

“Ofc y/n. I’m getting off early to stop by Hank’s house, I’ll see you at home though.” he said, smiling.

You bit your lip, suppressing a frown, “alright.” He smiled, pressed a kiss to your forehead, and went back to work.

When he left work, you still had a solid half hour of work left. You huffed and squirmed in your seat, trying to relieve the pressure in your stomach. You tried to ignore it as you finished your work, wanting to get home before the medicine properly wore off. As you closed the final tab you all but jumped out of your seat. You couldn’t wait to get home and drink something warm and eat something sweet, no savory, no sour- you’d figure it out when you got there. These cravings were gonna be the death of you.

You fumbled with the lock before stepping into your apartment. Everything felt different. It was really clean and it smelt like a cinnamon candle was lit. You kicked your shoes off and set them next to the door. You slowly made your way through the dimly lit hallway. As you entered the living room, you set your jacket and bags on the end table, finally noticing Connor siting on the couch. He was facing forward, eyes shut and LED a steady blue.

You walked in front of him, leaning forward to embrace him, “hey Connor,” you whispered into his hair.

You felt him smile into your shoulder, “good evening y/n. Are you feeling better?”

“Kind of. Sorry about earlier, I was just having a rough day with the case work and on top of that my period started this morning.”

“I understand,” he began.

“No, I shouldn’t have taken it out on you.”

“It’s alright, but if you want to make it up to me you can wait in the bedroom,” he said with a smirk.

“Con-”

“I mean, you don’t have to~” he teased.

You looked down at him and groaned, “fine.”

“Great!” he smiled brightly, “I’ll be there in a moment! Just get comfortable!” 

You walked to the bathroom to exchange your menstrual product for a new one. While you were at it you took off your jeans and swapped them with a pair of baggy shorts. After you washed and dried your hands you opened the door and, with a running start, jumped face first onto bed.You sighed into the blankets and turned onto your back, waiting for your boyfriend to come back.

Just as you thought he was taking too long he walked into the room. He was just wearing loose sweatpants and was carrying a mysterious box. You watched his artificial muscles flex as he climbed onto the bed.

“In my research I’ve found, that on occasion, menstraters can crave certain foods,” he handed  you the box and continued, “so I’ve collected some of your favorite snacks. I’ve also heard that chocolate is good for this occasion.”

“Connor, thank you so much!” You set the box on your nightstand and pulled Connor onto you.

“It’s no problem,” he laughed. He settled his face on your stomach and wrapped his arms around your hips as you began to open the box. Admiring the contents of the box, you felt your stomach warm and the pain fade away.

You brushed your fingers over his cheeks, “is it safe for you to do that?”

“Probably, I haven’t received any warnings yet,” he said pulling you closer.

“Just don’t push yourself,” you muttered.

“I won’t,” he smiled.

You couldn’t help smiling in return, “man, I really have the best boyfriend.”
