Sasha not forgiving Marcy is totally within her character.
For those of you who said she sounded hypocritical in ‘The Beginning of the End’, be honest with yourselves. If you’re in Sasha’s situation, would you really forgive your friend for getting you stranded in another world without your consent?
If your answer is “yes of course, because she’s my best friend”, then you’re missing the point.
Forgiveness is not something someone gives because they are blood-related or they’re someone important to them or it’s something that they deserve. A person forgives because they want to make peace with themselves... to set themselves free... to let go. And most importantly: because they truly want to. It’s not for the sake of others. It’s not an obligation.
I have heard people argue regarding her intense reaction to Lysil’s and Angwin’s predicament in ‘Olm Town Road’ and why, if she could be that passionate about shouting at Parisia to give those two olms (that she just met) a chance, couldn’t she give the same chance for Marcy when they’ve been best friends since forever?
And my thoughts on that is: the circumstance is completely different.
Marcy’s actions most likely hurt so much more than Sasha could ever admit. Actually, she even said it herself.
People were probably too preoccupied with the bitchy, manipulative Sasha to recognize the fact that she had suffered in her own ways too. And unlike Anne, she had no support on her journey. Only enabling her bad traits.
Remember what she’d been through. When she appeared near Toad Tower, Grime imprisoned her for who knows how long. She was able to survive because she was charismatic enough to befriend the guards and it all worked well in her favor. Yes, she was eventually appointed a high position next to Grime... but overall, she suffered most of the time. And she had to, for the sake of trying to find her friends.
She was put in a position where she had to forcefully grow strong and independent. It’s good for her, sure. But did she ever want that? In the first place, no. She’s the head of the cheerleaders, she’s a queen in her school, and she was an influence. And (you all like to say this) she’s a kid. Who would want to be put in a world where you have to act like an adult?
I admire Sasha for being honest about this because forgiveness shouldn’t be something that she should do for the sake of making sure that their friendship dynamic stays intact. She needs to really genuinely forgive Marcy. And with all the things she had been through, the doubt is understandable. You could say... it was Sasha’s “trauma”.
That’s why Anne’s speech was important. Not only did she learn to forgive Hop-Pop (where he inadvertently got her stuck in Amphibia longer than was supposed to by hiding the Calamity Box), but she also learned to acknowledge that she needs to make peace with herself. She can’t keep holding a grudge. It’s not good for her mental health. That’s what she wants Sasha to learn too.
And well, the good thing is, she did. She understood what Anne’s trying to say. However, even if she did agree with Anne, it doesn’t necessarily mean that she has automatically forgiven Marcy... but I know she’ll try her best (as she always do).
That’s... such a great development.
If it wasn’t for the 11-minute restriction, we could’ve had more pauses and more time for Anne and Sasha to talk about this. But even with this kind of restriction, it turned out okay anyway.

Prophecy? What Prophecy?
Another Amphibia fanfic! This time, its once again a straight Sashannarcy fic.
Basically, in an AU where the core decided to give everyone like a day or something to cool off, the Calamity trio relax in the throne room and just enjoy each other’s company.
Marcy still want’s to know about what Prophecy Sasha was talking about though so they decide to fill her in on the events of both ‘Olm Town Road’ and ‘Mother Olm.’
She takes the knowledge rather well, all things considered.
expect copious amounts of fluff by the end though, cause these three deserve it.
Words: 2k
The battle was finally over, and now came cleaning up.
With Newtopia Castle now lodged in the ground next to Newtopia itself, back in Amphibia, it was safe to say things were finally over. Andrias was defeated, maybe dying, in a cell deep in the castle. The Core was gone, deleted forever and if Marcy never had to see a glowing demon eye ever again it would be too soon. And Marcy was back, safe and relatively sound, with Anne and Sasha.
Despite the throbbing pain in her back, and the weak feeling in her limbs, she had never been happier.
Marcy had gotten out of the horrid Magi-tech armor and back into her ranger outfit as soon as possible, and Lady Olivia had taken them off somewhere to throw away or burn them. Marcy didn't care, she was just glad to be out of it finally. Hop-pop had gone off with Grime both to regroup with the other resistance generals and discuss what to do next and also to get Grime some medical attention. Sprig and Polly, meanwhile, had gone off to explore the now deactivated castle, with Sprig promising he would press ‘all the buttons.’
Polly had gone off with him both to keep him from doing something too dangerous but also to sate her bloodlust by taking Frobo Cloakbot hunting. Which meant that Marcy, Anne, and Sasha were pretty much left alone.
And she couldn’t be happier.
Anne and Sasha loved her, they loved her, they had told her they loved her and they forgave her. It was everything she ever wanted.
Marcy was currently laying on the floor, enjoying the feeling of having control over her body again, while her head rested in Sasha’s lap. Sasha just played with her hair and smiled, while Anne sat behind her and patched up a wound on her back don't think about it it wasn't you
Marcy enjoyed it all, soaking it all in: The feeling of amphibia’s nighttime air, Sasha's fingers running through her hair, Anne humming one of her mom's Thai love songs, even the tile on the floor was an amazing thing to feel after being bodyjacked by a computer for months on end.
Marcy never wanted this to end.
And yet…
She could feel the question bubbling up inside her, wanting to be shouted to the rooftops. It was the most important question she could ever ask. Well, maybe not as important as asking Sasha and Anne to prom when they were older and also back on earth but it was second most important to that.
Marcy tried, she really did! She went a whole ten minutes of silence.
“So what did you mean by ‘prophecy’ Sashy?” She yelled out suddenly.
Anne yelped in surprise behind Sasha, who winced in pain from Anne bumping an elbow against her now bandaged back. Sasha tugged her head up since her fingers were still in her hair, causing Marcy to fall upward into her till all three of them were in a pile of groans and bruises on the floor.
“Okay, so” Sasha sat up with a groan, holding her back with a wince of pain. “Back is still killing me, so that’s fun.” Seeing Marcy’s brief look of sadness, Sasha went into a panic. “Not that it’s your fault! It was the core, who wasn’t you, so this isn't your fault!”
“Anyway,” Anne said, sitting between them and wrapping her arms around their shoulders before pulling them into a quick hug. “Before we get into another round of ‘Who isn’t at fault for what,’ What do you want to know Mar-mar?”
Marcy took a quick breath in to steady herself.
“So after we got back to Amphibia and declared victory, Sashy talked about a prophecy we didn’t need and I was so excited! You know I'm all for prophecies and destined salvation by chosen heroes! But Sashy was injured and Anne was talking to Sprig so I let it drop while we got everyone patched up but I've been thinking about it constantly!” She yelled all at once, finally pausing to take a deep breath. She let it out and collapsed against Anne's shoulder, feeling tired after it all.
“Sorry Anne, still trying to get used to having my body back.” She apologized even as she continued to rest her head on Anne's shoulder.
“Don’t sweat it Mar-mar.” Anne replied, resting her head against Marcy’s with a small blush. “Seriously, I don't mind this.”
Marcy blushed, which caused Anne to blush more. Before both of them could fall into panicked gay silence, Sasha decided to cut the tension by plopping herself down on the floor like a cat and laying her head in Marcy’s lap.
“Mind braiding my hair Marbles?” Sasha asked as she looked up at the blushing Taiwanese girl. Marcy nodded and began to try and untangle Sasha’s mess of a hair. Anne just smiled at the sight. This really was perfect.
“So about that prophecy?” Marcy asked eagerly. Sasha chuckled from her place on the ground while Anne sighed.
“Yeah, we learned about it by going to Proteus-”
“Wait. Wait, wait wait. Proteus still exists?” Marcy asked excitedly. She had consumed as much knowledge as she could about Amphibia’s history and myths. Proteus, and the Olms, showed up a lot in the oldest of scrolls, with Proteus being analogous with Atlantis or El Dorado.
She was obsessed with all the legends about the Olms and their role in Amphibian history, wanting desperately to go on an adventure to find the lost city and document as much of it as she could. And now she was hearing that her two… girlfriends? Were they all girlfriends now? They loved her and she loved them, but did that mean they were dating now?
Anyway, her two maybe-girlfriends got to go on an epic adventure to Proteus without her.
“Ugh, I'm so jealous!” She groaned, throwing one hand into the air while Sasha and Anne chuckled. “You guys got to go to Amphibia’s version of Atlantis while i was stuck with the Core. It’s not fair at all!”
“Don’t beat yourself up about it Marbles, Proteus kind of sucked anyway.” Sasha said with a shrug. Marcy gasped in shock while she continued. “The Olms were super snooty about being isolationists and were pretty upfront about how unwelcome we were.”
“Plus, Parisia was a jerk.” Anne replied.
“Oh, huge jerk. Exiled Lysil and Angwin just because they fell asleep on guard duty, even tried to deny Andrias was even a thing or that the huge drill that just drilled a giant hole above their heads to the surface was even his.” Sasha said angrily, before remembering how she insulted Parisia to her face and got away with it.
That was a good memory.
“I mean, Lysil and Angwin did try to eat Sprig and Polly soo…” Anne began hesitantly only to get interrupted.
“Alright, but then she told you a prophecy?” Marcy asked eagerly.
“Well, no.” Anne responded. “Mother Olm told us the prophecy.”
“THE MOTHER OF OLMS IS REAL!?” Marcy squealed in delight. The Mother of Olms was an almost deific figure in every scrap of information she could find about olms. And Sasha and Anne met her.
“Yep, super old and kind of going senile but still kicking. She told us the prophecy after we got there.” Sasha said with an… odd expression on her face. She just stared off into the distance with a grim look. Anne descended into giggles at the sight.
“Yeah, she told us after Sasha and I had to-”
“To ask her about the prophecy and absolutely nothing else!” Sasha hissed as she glared daggers at Anne, whose shoulders started shaking in barely restrained laughter.
“Um,” Marcy just looked between the two of them. “Am I missing something?”
“No.”
“Yes”
Marcy just stared. Sasha looked increasingly haunted by something only she could see while Anne continued to laugh at her. Anne finally calmed down enough to continue.
“She told us about a prophecy tied to the Music Box that we were part of apparently.”
Sasha closed her eyes and remembered the words written on the ceiling, what felt like a lifetime ago, and yet in reality was barely a month.
“Three stars burning bright,
Come from beyond to expel the night.
Should they fight or embrace the fall,
Their choice will determine the fate of all.”
As Sasha spoke the words Mother olm said to them that day, a gust of wind blew through the balcony and swept Marcy and Anne’s hair in a breeze. Marcy could feel an almost static feeling run through her, and for a split second, she swore that Sasha glowed pink.
“That…” Marcy just stared down at Sasha, her mind running a mile a minute as she digested everything she just heard.
“That… was the single most AWESOME THING I EVER HEARD!”
Marcy squeed in pure glee, her hands flapping in absolute excitement as Anne and Sasha rubbed their ears from the volume of said excitement.
“We’re prophesied heroes! I’m a chosen one, we’re all chosen ones! We have a magical destiny, and we just fulfilled it!” Marcy was pretty much lost in pure bliss.
“I’ll admit, if you put it like that… It does sound kinda rad.” Sasha grinned from her lap, her eyes alight at the sight of Marcy’s pure happiness. “Just wish I knew how to activate my Saiyan powers like Anne.”
Marcy froze as her mind realized something vitally important.
“WE ALL HAVE AWESOME SOUL POWERS LIKE ANNE DOES!?”
Anne absently rubbed her right arm. “It’s… not as fun as you think Mar-mar. Wears me out something fierce.”
“That's a price I'm willing to pay so long as I can fly like you can Anne!” Marcy said seriously, staring her right in the eyes.
“Wait, hold on. You can fly?” Sasha sat back up and marcy was too happy about being a real life champion of destiny to be disappointed. “No fair, I wanna fly!”
“Not really something I know how to do, Sash! I just sort of… fly.”
“How can you talk about flying like you do a math test, Anne! It’s literal flying, you are an airborne person!” Sasha almost yelled out.
“Because I just sort of fly! I have literally no idea how it happens, it just does Sash!” Anne yelled back.
“That doesn’t help me fly, Anne! I want to take to the air with my Bankai!”
“More like Superman, but I still don’t know what… what to…” Anne trailed off, just looking back behind Sasha with a concerned expression. Sasha frowned and turned back to.
“... Are you okay Marcy?”
Marcy was just staring at the two of them, tears flowing from her eyes as she just kept staring. Anne and Sasha would have been more concerned had it not been for the shaky, yet absolutely happy smile on her face.
“I’m fine.” Marcy rubbed away the tears, her smile never leaving. “I just… do you know what this means?”
Anne and Sasha looked at one another and then back to Marcy, still concerned for their crying (girl)friend.
Marcy beamed at them. “We were always meant to be together.”
She wrapped them both up in a hug. “The Universe itself wanted us to meet. Destiny went out of its way to make us friends. We have stayed together because the multiverse wants us together.”
She leaned back, looking at both of them with the single most happy expression either of them had ever seen.
“We’re literal soulmates!” She said happily.
Anne and Sasha looked at her and as one both went completely red in the face. But soon enough, Sasha let out a brief chuckle that grew in volume as she began laughing. Anne chuckled a bit too, quickly joined by Marcy, as the three girls just held one another as the thought went in and settled.
“I’ve never… I never thought of it like that.” Sasha said, a few tears falling from her eyes as she looked at Marcy and Anne with such absolute love in her eyes that they both beamed. “I guess me saving you both on the playground that day was, i don't know, destiny?”
“I always wanted to believe that we were soulmates.” Anne said simply, the thought becoming more and more appealing the more she thought of it. “But now, I guess we have definitive proof.”
“I love you both.” Marcy said quickly, squeezing them both tight and never wanting to let go. “I love you both so much.”
Anne and Sasha squeezed back, the three of them happy and complete. All three of them agreed deep in their hearts: The three of them were soulmates.
Destiny said so.
“We love you too, Marcy.”
