This is just a reminder that you're allowed to dislike whatever characters you want around me and I will not complain because I don't care.

However, if you say things about characters and/or their experiences that are dismissive of real people problems, then I will make it a problem.

Mainly, if you think that a character being abused by their parents is funny and/or you think they deserve it because they're "awful" ...then I hate you.

We can't be friends, and I don't trust you at that point. Fandoms continually fail abuse survivors and I wont tolerate it.

For my sins, I am British.

And not exactly to "not be" but I think it's jarring if you read something that should be set in America (quite often not the case for WN but most other fandoms I've written for have been) and hear a "trash can" being referred to as a "bin" or... I dunno, Kara Danvers saying "bloody hell, Lena, you're looking well fit".

Not saying I'm ALWAYS successful in removing the British-isms from my writing because I'm sure there's a lot I don't even notice, but for the sake of keeping readers immersed, I do try to.
