You and Spencer have been married for 2 months now after dating for more than 4 years. Your marriage couldn't possibly be any better. You barely ever argued but lately something has changed.

You've been acting different. Spencer noticed. The team noticed. Everyone noticed.

You were constantly mad at Spencer for no reason at all. You barely ate. And you were tired all the time. Is she sick? Spencer asks himself. Maybe it was his fault, he thought. That he did something wrong and now you're upset. But despite of his eidetic memory, he couldn't remember anything he could've done to upset you. So he decided to just look up your symptoms to find out what you might have.

He typed your symptoms into his computer at work.The results shocked him...Pregnancy symptoms was the first thing that came up.

Could that be possible? Could that explain why you've been acting this way? When did this happen? he questioned himself. What a dumb question...Your wedding night 2 months ago. A night full of passion and love and most importantly right now....without any contraception.

After minutes of just staring at his computer screen, he decided to just ask you. If it just was this easy Spencer thought.But he knew that it's the best and only thing he could do in this situation. He walked over to your desk, that is not far away from his own.

"Y/N, can we talk real quick?" your husband asked. "Sure, what's up, love?" you replied.Spencer blushed at the nickname, even though you've been calling him love ever since you two started dating. This was probably the nicest you've been to him in days. "I'm just gonna ask you, because I know that you hate when I don't get to the point and umm..." "Spence, breath" you answered, as an attempt to calm him down. "Are you pregnant?", he suddenly blurted out. "Umm..." you couldn't even form proper words. That was everything he needed to answer his question:

Dear Brielle,

A lot has happened in seventeen years. I’ve now lived half of my life without you, mom, and dad. I’ve been thinking about you a lot so my husband Finnick (yes that Finnick lol) said I should write you a letter of all the things I wanted to tell you but never could.

A little over ten years ago we killed President Snow. The districts rebelled and won. The war was brutal and there were times I nearly died, but Finnick pulled me through.

We got married a year later. We never really did the whole dating thing, our friendship just evolved into a beautiful romance overnight. He was there for me after you left and he has been here ever since.

The years since the war have not been easy. I’ve had bouts of seizures that leave me bedridden and ill for days. The doctors said my condition should be worse so I should be grateful. Countless medications and treatments have made slight improvements to my health but the pain will always be there.

Two years after our wedding we almost hit our breaking point. Finnick and I had been trying to start a family for over a year but nothing was working. It was the most frustrating experience of my life post-war and I do not wish those struggles on anyone.

Three years after our wedding, Mags passed of old age. Although we were sad, we were all glad she got to live out her last few years in a free Panem. Johanna decided to move in with Annie afterwards so she wouldn’t be alone. We are still neighbors to this day.

Four years after our wedding, I got pregnant, only to lose the baby a few months in due to a bad seizure. This was Finnick and I’s lowest point to date.

It’s now been a bit over 9 years since I married the love of my life and the father of my child. We were finally blessed with a baby boy, Neptune, 4 years ago today. He is everything I could have asked for in a child; rambunctious, kind, and adventurous. He looks just like his father but acts like his mother.

Two years ago, Neptune’s best friend arrived in District 4. Annie and Johanna adopted a little girl, Jodie, from District 7. Neptune and her do EVERYTHING together. Finnick keeps joking that we should build a tunnel between our two houses so the kids can hang out all the time.

All in all, it’s been a very painful 34 years of existence. Part of me is glad you didn’t have to witness what happened. The other part of me still hopes you’re out there, even though I know you aren’t. I hope that wherever you are, you’re at peace.

chapter 4 - unforgettable

summary: when lewis and nico ended they relationship and when some years later realize it never actually ended

note: finally a less angsty chapter lol. I will probably keep this going but I won’t update as often. I have other contents upcoming from the requests tho

Nico came to his house some days later to give him his hat back. They had sex. That was the last time and they knew it.

Some months later they fought again over a race. In his driver’s room Nico even took him from the Mercedes overalls and angrily pushed him against the wall. They ended up kissing, but this time it was Lewis who put an end to it. “No, not this time. No more mind games, Nico. It’s over.” And he left.

He was convinced Nico was trying to mess with his head with all that push and pull, that purposely hitting him and then saying sorry, making him forgiving everything, and then again being ruthless on the race track. That was the last straw.

Lewis was remembering those final words as they were said yesterday, laying on the bed the night after the conversation with Nico. He was so angry. Why telling him all that right now? Now that Nico had a wife and daughters, now that they didn’t talk for years after he left the team, now that he thought he had finally moved on. He began to think he never actually did, because he never dealt with his feelings after the break up. He couldn’t lie to himself, he wished that kiss would’ve last longer. He wished Nico would’ve stayed longer. Now he couldn’t get his pretty face out of his head. That wasn’t news of course, he had often dreamt about him, but now that they kissed in real life, after a period that seemed short and endless at the same time, it was definitely something else. The thought of having him again was tormenting him, preventing him to fall asleep. Not even music could help: every song reminded him of him. That damn german couldn’t really keep himself away from him, couldn’t he?

The day after he felt so tired he couldn’t even do his morning exercises. He felt like shit. Anger turned into pain and longing for a different life. A life were him and Nico were still together, as friends, as teammates, as husbands. He tried to rest in the morning and after lunch he went out for a run anyway. He prayed not meet Nico somewhere along the way and fortunately it didn’t happen. When he came back he was exhausted. He went to the building’s lodge to collect the mail. He noticed a letter that didn’t look familiar at all. Lewis never received letters. The adressee was undoubtedly him, but when he opened it to discover who the sender was, he found Nico Rosberg’s name written on the inside.

“This must be a mistake.” Lewis turned to the doorman. “Maybe I should put it back in Mr and Mrs Rosberg’s mailbox.”

“It’s no mistake, Sir Lewis.” Replied the doorman. “And by the way, they’re not married anymore.”

Lewis was taken aback. “What?” He realized he had sounded too emotional. “I mean… I didn’t know.”

“They divorced some months ago. I thought it was public knowledge.”

Maybe Lewis would have know it if he hadn’t blocked Nico and Nico’s name in every social media platform. Why didn’t Sebastian tell him?

“Right, it probably is. I should open more newspapers.” He gave the doorman a little smile and went up to his apartment with the letter in his hand. That was a big information to handle.

Lewis read the letter sitting on the couch. He straightaway recognized the handwriting.

I’m sorry for yesterday. I think I have some more explanation to do. Meet me in the building spa at 9 if you want. Please don’t be angry.

Lewis knew Nico liked to leave hand written notes. He also knew he liked going to the spa to relieve the stress. Lewis was sick of explanations and sick of playing games. Still he had the feeling he would go anyway.

Nico thought he was imagining it when he saw Lewis in the jacuzzi room. Of course he knew were to find him. That was such an intimate place, it helped him meditate. He usually booked it for an evening and went to relax alone.

He watched him close the stone door. “Hi.” Nico said, trying to shorten the tensed distance hovering in the room. He got no answer.

Lewis approached him in the bathtub and entered the hot water, sitting in the furthest point of the small rounded pool. He was only wearing bermuda swim shorts and Nico couldn’t help but let his eyes wander on his godly physique. He realized that was the first time in years he saw his half naked body that close. He blushed a little when Lewis noticed. “I thought you wouldn’t come.”

“Why?”

“I don’t know. I thought I scared you away. I’m sorry for–“

“Stop apologizing. I initiated the kiss.”

Nico lowered his gaze. There was a moment of silence until Lewis broke it. “Why didn’t you tell me you divorced?”

Nico didn’t expect the question. “I– I don’t know, I thought you knew.” Didn’t he listen to the news?

“I didn’t.”

“Well,” Nico didn’t know what to say. “Now you know. It was a mutual decision, we thought it was for the girls’ best to stay in good terms.”

“That means I’m the replacement.”

“No, no, that’s not– that’s not like that at all. If anything…” It was the opposite, he wanted to say, but he had the feeling it was unnecessary, Lewis understood.

“We really fucked up our friendship, right?”

Nico nodded. “It was mostly my fault. I became a horrible person. All those mind games I used to get the title… I don’t think I wasn’t mentally okay at the time. That’s not an excuse, anyway.”

“I know, and I forgot you when you needed me because all I was thinking about was winning over you. I didn’t care about anything else. We swore we would have both become World Champions. You know… all these years I had the time to realize we were best friends until I was the one who came first and everyone knew I was the best. But when you proved everybody wrong, I couldn’t take it. And then there was Vivian. And then you left Formula 1. Why did you left our dream? Why did you left me?”

Nico couldn’t look at him in the eyes. “I– you can understand it wasn’t easy. I accomplished what I wanted, and it was so draining. I couldn’t take it anymore, I wasn’t okay. Physically and psychologically. It didn’t help I lost everything had with you. There was no reason for me to stay.”

It was unbelievable: after eight years they were finally talking it out. Eight years. It seemed to be so much time yet Nico was in love just as when they were teens.

Nico took a deep breath. Now they were both grown out of their mistakes, their bad habits and their flaws. At least of most of them.

Lewis made a step closer. “I won’t lie, I thought about you a lot since I saw you in the paddock. I mean, more than usual.”

Nico finally looked at him. The dim lights made Lewis’ dark tatted skin glow in different colors in rotation: purple, green, blue, orange, red. He kept himself from blushing again. “I did too.”

Lewis came even closer, forcing him against the tub wall.

“What are your intentions?” Asked Nico.

Lewis was thinking exactly “hearing again those moans of yours that sound so much like a needy kitten and hearing you say ‘right there’ and ‘yes just like that’ as you used to do”, but those were too many words, so he simply put his hands on Nico’s thighs and made him sit in his lap. Nico’s breath was taken away. There was no distance separating their bodies anymore. That was a big step from interviewing him by standing 20 feet apart.

Nico put one hand on his neck and pulled him in a kiss. A passionate kiss. No more anger, no more regret, no more desperation, just a simple exchanging of everlasting love and desire.

His hands finally travelled eagerly on the Brit’s chest, his thumbs brushing his sensitive nipples. Lewis let out a soft little moan, letting his hands slide on Nico’s hips and pulling him in return.

“I think we should–“ go upstairs, that’s what Nico was trying to say, hardly breathing because of Lewis’ move.

“My place?” Asked Lewis, between one kiss and another. Nico nodded.

They stepped out of the tub and dried each other with a towel, trying to ignore the growing hardness in their pants. They raced to be first to the lift, laughing and bumping into each other, then kissed all the way through Lewis’ apartment. That night they had the best sex of their lives.

Lewis woke up the next morning having the feeling it was way too late. He turned on the phone on the bedside table to look at the clock with eyes still sleepy. 10:12. It was definitely too late. He put the arm back under the sheets when the memories of the night before flooded. Nico. Oh, what a sweet night it was. And hot. He remembered it very hot too. They must have fallen asleep late because he never woke up past 8. He turned around expecting to see Nico but there was no trace of him. He began to worry. There, he got screwed one more time. He had let him play with his feelings again and now he was alone. Lewis was beginning to feel angry again when he heard noises coming from the kitchen. He stood up and walked in the other room. Roscoe, barely awake as well, followed him.

Nico was there, cooking breakfast in boxers and t-shirt. Lewis thought he was dreaming, but then the blond man turned and saw him. “Damn, I wanted it to be a surprise.”

Lewis gazed at him in awe. “I thought–“

“What?” Nico smiled gently. “I could never leave you. Not anymore. You make me happy.”

Lewis couldn’t help but returning the smile.

“Besides, who would leave a seven times World Champion? It would be crazy.”

Lewis got closer and wrapped him in a hug from behind, smelling his scent. Roscoe wagged his tail next to them. “Come back to bed.”

“The breakfast will get cold.”

“Please.”

Nico sighed. “If you’re asking like that.”

"Oh, it's no use..." They mumbled "Perhaps I'm just not cut out for this...I never even wanted to be married to anyone! The only one I did love left me for some other women" (Y/n) said "I can't even remember his name..." they muttered as they stood up now going to attempt the vows once more

"With...this hand l will lift your sorrows Your cup will never empty, for l will be your wine!""With this candle, l will light your way in darkness. With this ring...l ask you to be mine!" (Y/n) exclaimed as they put the ring on a stick that looked like a hand

(Y/n) smiled in accomplishment proud that they remembered theit vows but then they noticed the thousands of crows watching her and the eerie silence "Yeah this isn't creepy at all..." (Y/n) mumbled as they looked around when suddenly a plush hand grabbed onto their hair "What the-?! OW!" They yelled

They pulled the plush hand off their hair and threw it onto the ground The silence scared them as they heard sounds if something breaking, (Y/n) looked towards the oak tree and saw the ground shaking and beginning to break open....

okay, so i've been doing some thinking. i've been scrolling through your blog and i stepped upon these "cheating on cove with Baxter and the other way around" scenarios. (i'm sorry, i wasn't able to read them, my heart couldn't take it ;-;) but!

what if mc was like, in a normal relationship with Baxter. you know, a couple, maybe married later and stuff, while of course still being besties with Cove. later mc and Baxter have a kid together, maybe still a small baby but! plot twist! if they do say smth like how even though it's unfortunate and they feel bad for everyone who mourns baxter (for example/especially you), they see cove as their dad and don't feel like they're missing anything and they're happy to have cove for their dad.

It's been quite a week

Well, quite a summer. I just looked at my docs and saw that I haven't opened any of them since May 😭

My BIL, his girlfriend, and his 3 kids came for a visit from the Midwest. They were supposed to visit last year, but when our banyo repairs were delayed BIL decided to postpone the trip by a whole year to avoid staying with their dad. Grandpa Asshole is universally viewed as an unpleasant, racist, and sexist manchild. My husband would have gone no contact a long time ago except he wants to keep a relationship with his stepmom.

It was awesome seeing my kid have fun with her cousins, despite all the noise. She sometimes wishes she had siblings and I just tell her one day we'll get a cat 😹 And the new girlfriend is nice too. We spent a long time chatting about Agents of SHIELD, which she first watched 4 years ago and has watched about 7 times since. I'm afraid to get too attached to her though, because she keeps hinting very unsubtly that she wants to get married and my BIL is now a commitment-phobe. Although I disagree with her pressuring him to the altar, I do think that my BIL is the type of guy who needs a woman to keep him from falling apart. Really, his actual offspring should be enough motivation but eh...

Grandpa Asshole was annoyed/confused that his grandkids didn't respond well to his antics. We don't know why he thought he could have an automatic relationship with grandchildren he can't bother to visit because he prioritizes his golf and tennis schedules higher (he's not a pro or anything, just retired with lots of free time). He made my daughter cry because she wouldn't smile for a picture, and he picked her up and swung her to cajole her into a better mood. My kid absolutely hates being maneuvered against her will. I think it's because she's little like me, so lots of people think she's younger than she is and treat her like a baby to pick up all the time. So that was the first loud kerfuffle.

And then one of her cousins, who is on the autism spectrum, had a meltdown on a trip to a farm. BIL took the cousin away from the animals and to the parked car so he could calm him down, and Grandpa Asshole followed them to yell at the poor kid over BIL's shoulder, saying something like "If you don't stop crying nobody's gonna have fun!" I wasn't there, thank god (because I made up a doctor's appointment to avoid spending time with Grandpa Asshole) or I would have lost it. BIL is a dickhead in many ways, but I have to hand it to him for not reacting with his usual temper. Instead of yelling back at Grandpa Asshole, BIL just told him that he wasn't helping and told him to go away. I guess BIL is slowly but surely maturing. Later, Grandpa Asshole had the nerve to expect hugs from everyone. As the youngins would say: bruh.

Now that they're gone, all the stress-inducing obstacles are over with and we have a month left of just regular summer vacation. The husband has hinted that maybe I should organize a vacation for just the three of us before school starts, but I'm just too exhausted so I hope he forgets.

This was from a home video camera where it started out as a birthday celebration since we went out to eat, went home to celebrate with cake and then this very moment that made history as it is. At the time, Izumi just came back from South Korea about few months ago hence the reason why she knew about K-pop very well. She got into SHINee around the time they just debuted, so she knew much about them more than me. She even met them before they debuted and almost made a connection with Onew.

I was lucky to say that I saw Jonghyun when I was 8 years old because little did I knew that this may be the only time I got to meet someone as beautiful as him. The second anniversary is the one that we all know, and if you don’t know about it then… unfortunately this isn’t positive at all.

Today marks 5 years since he began his Inspiration concert tour in heaven. If you guys didn’t get the hint of what I was talking about, he passed away 5 years ago. It’s one of the most hardest days in my life aside from the day my grandmother died and when I got raped by someone I thought was a friend.

Since it has been so hard for the past few years, that was why I would resort to violence where I nearly killed someone over it. I found someone who used to bully me in secondary school teasing me for the fact that Jonghyun died. I knocked her out and until this day she had to wear a wheelchair to walk around. It was so bad that I nearly got arrested but since I was a child, I was let off.

Because I really wanted to get that anger off me, this was why I tried for an alternative, dark/edgy/black humour. This was the thing that really helped me for the past few months alongside with making stories like he was still here. This has been so helpful with me for few years and I feel think that doing what I do is better than what most people would do and pretend that he never existed. I got to write about him being sexy and adorable — exactly how I saw him until this day. He even saw himself as that, so why should I even listen to the mob and do what they want to do. They clearly don’t know how it feels to be in a situation like this, or even being in my life. I’ve been harassed out of my fandom a few times online, but still tried to stay strong. However, I don’t think I could do this longer which brings me to this saying, this is going to be my last fanniversary with SHINee.

I’m not trying to say that I’m gone for good, I’ll still be around especially if you want to vent ( which my url is @mylittlejjongie ) and also to check up on them. I will still be making fanfictions of Jonghyun until the very last one. No matter what, I’ll still love SHINee and all the things they had done for me over the years and this isn’t exactly a farewell. It will be a slow process, but I will be stepping down from the Shawol throne for the last time.

Thank you to everyone who I had met on the way, especially to my cousin Izumi for getting me into SHINee in the first place. Who would of known that a little 14 year old girl would create history from a 4 year old. Of course, I can’t not say thank you to Jonghyun for everything he had done and congratulations for everything he accomplished in his life. No matter what, I’ll always remember him as the guy from the beginning of Replay and that he the was guy that was my first ever childhood crush.

One day I’ll see him again and we’ll be together forever. Not a soul in the light would ever tear us apart as I would be living my 4 year old self’s dream of marrying him with the flowers surrounding us. It would be us and only us.

I think I need to update my tumblr on what’s happened this year.

I HAVE A FULL-TIME JOB. I got it around 4 months ago. It’s really good for me and it’s helped us so much financially. It doesn’t make me as horribly anxious as my other jobs used to. It’s still a job, but it’s much better on my body and mind. I hope I don’t fuck it up.

IM MARRIED!! I didn’t know if I would be able to afford my wedding at the beginning of the year/last year, but we did it with a LOT of help. It wouldn’t have happened without my parents, Danny’s parents and our loved ones. It doesn’t feel real.

If I have a wedding regret it’s that I really sweated the details. It was stressful, my husband forgot several things important for the ceremony lol. I also forgot the marriage license to be fair so it’s not all on him. It really was wonderful though. When I was about to walk down the aisle I was sooo anxious. I was terrified to be the center of attention and have everyone look at me. Once I saw Danny at the alter, everything was okay. He looked soo good. I had never seen him in a suit before. Our vows were perfect. I wouldn’t change them for a thing. His were so wonderful and I can’t comprehend that he loves me as much as I love him.

Two different couples I know are getting married soon! One couple around October, the other couple isn’t even engaged yet but will this year. Love is in the air. It’s crazy.

On some sadder news, I have had a lot of health issues lately. Last month I had a colonoscopy, then two weeks later was admitted to the hospital because I had several sinus pauses in my sleep. I wore a heat monitor for a month because I was feeling dizzy and lightheaded with some activity. I didn’t expect the heart monitor to actually catch h something abnormal. The longest my heart stopped beating was about 10 seconds. I thought I had sleep apnea. I may still have sleep apnea, but my insurance denied the sleep study. So every night I go to bed I have to accept the fact that I don’t know what will happen. Will my heart stop beating altogether? I wake up every day and just go about living as best I can. I have a doctor’s appointment for next month. Hopefully I can get a at home sleep study done or something.

On top of the sinus pause, my heart rate will go between 25 BPM to 175 BPM in a week/day. I think anxiety makes my heart rate go up, or the opposite that my heart rate being so erratic is making me anxious lmao. Either way my insurance doesn’t care. They denied me because they said I didn’t have a valid reason for needing a sleep study. I guess I won’t need a sleep study if I fucking die in my sleep so fair game.

My mom gave me an old Fitbit of hers to try to monitor my heart rate but I stopped using it. I just feel helpless when I can’t do anything other than try to be healthy. I am at the whim of my health care providers.

Now it’s after the business of the wedding and I’m trying to figure out how I feel. I’m head over heels happy and in love with my husband of course, but I feel like I can never catch a break. I just want to be able to stop and appreciate the moments I’m in now. It’s just really hard to.

I’m so happy and I’m in a much better place than I was a year ago, but I just am so tired. It’s hard to be positive when the world is on fire.
