I have more unhinged thoughts about Buck and costume design choices, so stay with me for a bit. I will be using Buck's previous relationships to make the point tho, so tw Taylor Kelly.
This started going around my head in a very innocent "it's so cool that they chose to put Buck in green during the coma dream" because Buck wears red a lot. Like, a LOT.
Tumblr media
And green is on the other side of the color wheel. So him in green during the coma dream deeply bothered me for no reason.
Tumblr media
Because like, when Buck is wearing bright colors he's usually around here on a color wheel because there's the burnt orange he wears sometimes too. So they put him in his complementary color, and the whole thing with complementary colors is to create contrast and I was mindblown by that a little bit once it registered.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But then I was making an edit and I noticed that Buck is wearing green when he breaks up with Taylor. Which is fine, we all know the whole Blue and Green thing with couples in 911, right?
Tumblr media
So I just moved on with the idea that they put him in green because the relationship is wrong and moved on, until I noticed he wasn't always the green character. Because then shit gets interesting.
Tumblr media
Because, when does he become the green character? When he tells her that he kissed someone else. So he's the one wearing green when the relationship starts to fall apart and when they break up.
Tumblr media
And that alone for me is fascinating because oh my god the costume department is out there working overtime. But I am a dog with a bone and what's another time where Buck is wearing green? The fight with Ali. Who's also wearing blue, very light blue but still blue.
Tumblr media
But also just accepted this as just a blue and green thing with couples because Ali is not around enough for me to use her to establish a pattern.
But I was also on high alert about other situations he might be wearing green, not that all of them fully registered until this morning when it finally clicked that he's wearing green on the cemetery scene.
Tumblr media
Because another time he's wearing green on his own is when he takes Red to see Cindy and when he talks to Maddie about Abby and being left behind right after. Also when he's hiding in Eddie's place so he won't have to talk to Taylor.
Tumblr media
I don't know about yall but I feel like this does establish a pattern of him wearing green while doing misguided stuff in his chase of his idea of romantic love.
But I have more points if you're not convinced yet.
We established that he wears a lot of red and that the thing with complementary colors is contrast, right? I'm not gonna sit here and tell you that there's a set pattern on when he wears red because he wears red in multiple circumstances, but I will tell you a few scenes that back me up.
Because baby boy is wearing red when he finally lets go of Abby, on both occasions, and when he's literally talking to Maddie about what love really means leading to him finally making the right choice to stop hanging on to Taylor.
Tumblr media
He wears red when he finally does the right thing when it comes to love and he wears green when he's trying to convince himself he's doing the right thing. Contrast.
This show is crazy. Insane. Absolute madness.
Edit:
Okay, extra point here. I went against adding this particular scene because I legit can't tell if his shirt is green or blue here. But I got a reply here and decided to check.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
so it went to color-hex to try and determine it, well, this is definitely a shade of green. I actually made a whole pallete of his shirt. This is definitely green.
Tumblr media
So another point to team he does misguided shit on his quest for love in green clothing because this is the scene where he's telling Maddie about Abby and Maddie is telling him that she's bagging other guys but he chooses to ignore it.
Am i crazy? probably. But what's that thing once is a chance twice is a coincidence and three is a pattern? Thats 4 scenes with the green and him doing stupid shit in the name of love.

Ok I got four asks in my inbox about the new Nick interview and I'm actually mad. I'm actually livid and exasperated because I've been getting and answering similar asks over and over again, and yet people still come to me with the same statement and the same conviction EVEN AFTER I POINTED OUT EVERY FUCKING FACT THAT CONTRADICTS IT.
Do you really need a 19-year-old to teach you reading comprehension and media literacy?
Ok, fine.
Statement One: Nick doesn't appreciate RWRB, he's brushing it aside, which is why it wasn't mentioned in the New York Times
One: Editorials don't always portray the actual thoughts or agenda of the interviewee.
Unlike a video interview or a podcast interview where we can hear the whole conversation directly from Nick with his voice, and even if there are cuts and edits we can pick it up via visual or audio continuity, in a written editorial the only thing we can rely on is the writer's words, or in other words, the writer's paraphrase or quotation of what Nick said to him. This gives much bigger room for any changes or manipulation in content because we have nothing else to reference.
It is clear that in the past three editorials, the writer or the magazine itself has deliberately demeaning and devaluing RWRB. In NY Magazine, it was only mentioned in one line and degraded to "a queer take on a common straight trope" (see the choice of word "president's daughter"), with the implication being at its core, it's a straight story/ reliant on past straight stories to be interesting; Hunger Magazine calls it fujoshi-pleasing (fujoshi: Japanese slang, denoting how a straight woman who enjoys fictional gay content is "rotten", too ruined to be married, an insult to both the audience/fans and the movie itself ); and this time New York Magazine didn't even mention RWRB, when let's be honest, it's Nick's biggest breakout role.
"Once Is Chance, Twice is Coincidence, Third Time's A Pattern" this is deliberate. I can't say what the agenda is, my guess is some extent of latent homophobia, but it's clear that this is a fucking pattern. In fact, besides the hidden agenda of devaluing RWRB, these editorials show another hidden agenda, but that's something for a later day. PM me id you want to now, I won't discuss that one on my public platform yet.
Again, there is so much more room for twisting and hiding words in a written editorial. In all the video interviews Nick did, especially in the UK, when has he ever avoided a question about RWRB? When has he ever not shown gratitude towards the project?
Two: In all video evidence that can't be manipulated, that clearly shows Nick's own thoughts which not influenced by any other party, he has made it clear that he adores RWRB.
Why else would he sign books during the M&G London premiere, going as far as to stay behind after the event just to sign books? Same with the LA M&G premiere and TIOY premiere: those were promotions for other projects, he had a valid reason to refuse to sign the RWRB books and posters, but he didn't, always signing with a big smile on his face, even playfully signing on Taylor's face. He said it himself in his Instagram post, and I quote: "The love that Henry has received has been one of the most heartwarming things to watch. It's been difficult to not talk about him. So thank you for seeing him for all he is. He was a joy to bring to life." There's your proof, directly from the man himself.
Statement Two: Nick's not interested in doing a sequel, he said he's done playing princes and he's done playing romantic leads
One: "Done playing princes" doesn't mean literally done playing princes, it means he wants to try more roles and not be stuck with only being known as the "prince" guy. (even though he's literally a prince lol)
Plus, he said that after Robert, but then Henry came along and he was attracted to Henry as a character with his scared but loving heart. He doesn't just view Henry as a prince, he views Henry as a complex, delicate person who so happens to be a prince. Him saying he's done playing princes means in the future, he doesn't really want another royal on his filmography, but this doesn't mean he doesn't want to continue Henry's story. With the given context, namely asking him about future projects he wants to take up, "he's done playing princes" and "he doesn't want to play Henry anymore" are not mutually inclusive.
Two: "Done playing romantic leads" means he wants to try new things and take up new projects that aren't romance films.
This doesn't include the continuation of already established characters i.e. sequels, this just means if he were to take up brand new projects, he wants to try something else. Sequels are inherently different from new projects because again, sequels are based on already established characters.
Three: He said several times ON VIDEO that he'd be in for a sequel
In this one, when asked if he'd be up for a sequel, he said, and I quote "Look, I think with any opportunity of doing a sequel, I think, you know, the script has to be right. But obviously, it was so lovely to see how many people it touched and having that resonance is incredibly important to me, so, yeah. Of course."
In this one, when asked if they have had conservation on a potential sequel, he said, and again I quote: "Yeah, I mean definitely had conversations. I think we're all on the same page in the sense that, you know, the script needs to be right, and sort of all the different components need to be right because we made something that has such a positive effect and I think the last thing you'd wanna do is ruin that or take that in a way, so, you know, the conversations are definitely being had."
And there are more videos from red carpet interviews that I can't be bothered to find right now but he says more or less the same thing.
(look I even transcribed it)
Not only is he on board with a sequel, he's also being careful about it to make sure once they do get to making it, it's something good. He's on board, and he values it. And again, that's directly from him.
We have a phrase in Chinese: 斷章取義, meaning "breaking off a small part of an article and deriving the meaning from that single part" That's what so many of you, in particular, the people who come to my inbox with the sentiments of the above-mentioned statement are doing. Please, use critical thinking and look at the whole picture. Stop making judgments from the surface of one source.
Tagging my friends @alittlefrenchtree and @myteavsricochet because it looks like they've been getting the same things I got

Lando is definitely rich, white, a cis man, ignorant, and a little dumb but the level of absolute tone-deafness with those comments astounded me. McLaren PR did not do their job properly there and Lando needs to think twice before he speaks.
I’m of the opinion that Lando is so tone deaf, in part because he is the trifecta of privilege- rich, white and male, so he has been insulated from both the negative side of the system but also from the repercussions of having terrible takes. Add on the way that this sport wants to infantilize grown men, making excuses for patterns of behavior that in your average person would at the very least cause concern or get that person dropped from general society is crazy.
I’ve seen the excuse that they left school early, as though that’s a valid reason for the shitty behavior displayed. They act as though just because someone left school they are forever frozen at 15. That’s not the way the world works. And honestly if this was a middle class 40 something year old with a receding hairline the reaction would be entirely different.
Lando is very much falling into the once is by chance, twice is a coincidence and three times is a pattern. While I don’t expect any of these athletes to suddenly become social justice warriors, I would expect a general knowledge of what not to say in 2024 to set off the masses. Even if he’s a terrible person, someone put a muzzle on him so he can be just a pretty face again. He’s much more likable when he’s not capable of speech.

Snatched away~ Yandere!Akaza X GN!Kidnapped!Reader
Tumblr media
A/N: This is my first time writing a Tumblr post! I already have been writing a Yandere!Demon Slayer x Reader book on Tumblr, but I've never tried writing a one-time imagine. I tried sending this request to some of my favorite writers, but since they haven't been answered, I thought I would write it myself :> For those interested, my book name is Make You Mine (Yandere!Demon Slayer X Fem!Reader).
Warnings: Kidnapping, injuries, teasing
Tumblr media
"What the hell do you want?" You shouted at the basketball who had been pestering you for the last 40 minutes.
It had been two days since you were kidnapped by none other than the Upper Moon Three, for reasons unknown. Ever since he had first seen you, he had grown obsessed with having fights with you: a member of the Demon Slayer Corps. The last time he had a fight with you, you had already been injured after returning from a solo mission. After fighting with him, your injuries only increased. He insisted on you coming to his house, and since you refused, he knocked you out and brought you there anyway.
Who could stop the mighty Upper Three?
You definitely weren't skilled enough to do that. The maximum you could do is keep up a 10-minute fight without getting overly exhausted.
"Aw, come on. Are you too scared to train with me?" the demon whined. You thought it was a nuisance. "I'll consider if you tell me why I'm here." "Because you're cute. Isn't that reason enough?" he said, knowing it would trigger you. You threw a pillow at him from your bed. "Ouch. Not elegant."
It had felt like Akaza had been following you before he'd kidnapped you. You would meet him once or twice a week at a minimum, "accidentally". Or so he said.
"My, your concussion still hasn't healed," he leaned closer and held your chin to check if the bandaid needed to be changed. "Maybe you should rest. I guess we could train tomorrow." "Please die," you muttered after pushing him away.
The only thing keeping you away from escaping during the day when Akaza wasn't here was the locked doors and windows.
The windows had literal metal bars on them and a metal door stood at the entrance.
Why would a demon need such security in his home? How annoying.
At least he looked good.
"Aw, are you angry? How cute," he mocked. "Nope, I'm having the time of my life," you replied sarcastically.
"If you're getting bored, I could take you out." Akaza leaned against a door. "In a fight, right?"
He didn't reply.
"In a fight, right?" you repeated.
Tumblr media
Here you were, snatched away at night, forced to come out of the house to touch some grass after 2 days.
"The moon is beautiful today, isn't it?" Akaza said, smiling. "No," you groaned. "Why are we even here?" "It's a blue moon today. I thought I'd show you."
He had brought you to a field lush with grass glimmering in the blue moonlight near a lake. You sighed. There was no chance of escaping if you were with the Upper Moon Three, so you might as well enjoy it.
"Jeez, what a pain. Whatever, I'm fine being here." "You're one tsundere, aren't you?" "A tsun- what?" "Never mind."
You sat down on the grass in the chill autumn air as the wind rustled in the leaves. Akaza sat down beside you. "The fireworks are starting soon," he said. "There are fireworks?"
"Of course there are. Did you forget that the fireworks festival is today?" "Oh. I guess I did," you pouted. "A blue moon and fireworks. It's a pretty coincidence." "So you agree that you like being here?" "No."
It was Akaza's turn to sigh now. "As I said, what a tsundere," he whispered to himself. "I heard that."
Just then, a golden-pink firework exploded in the sky. Another two green ones followed. "It's begun," you said. "Yep. Finally."
The huge array of colors in the sky danced like fireflies. The sound of the fireworks was loud even so far away miles away, drowning out any possible noise. They crackled in the and swirled around the stars and the moon, creating picturesque patterns in the night sky.
Akaza's eyes remained glued to the sky in deep thought, almost as if he were feeling a deep sense of nostalgia or déjà vu, you couldn't quite figure out. Although he did look breathtaking with his full attention to the fireworks, you didn't want him to notice you gazing at him so you averted your gaze.
"Why did you look away? I was enjoying you staring at me," he smirked, looking back at you. "S-shut up. I wasn't looking at you." "Yeah, right."
Fifteen fireworks exploded all of a sudden, create a huge boom and loud crackling. Your eyes were glued to the glowing sky. The fireworks reflected stunningly in the lake, making the scene seem like something out of a movie.
You sat in silence for the next 20 minutes, the fireworks glimmering in the sky filling any quietness between you both.
As the fireworks came to an end, Akaza let out a loud, dramatic yawn and stretched his arms above his head. He turned to you and said, "Phew, that was exhausting. Did I actually watch some measly fireworks for half an hour?"
You couldn't help but snort at his over-the-top reaction. "What, are you too cool for fireworks? I thought you were supposed to be the Upper Moon Three, the feared demon!"
Akaza raised an eyebrow and gave you a wry smile. "Fear me, peasant! I am the mighty Akaza, and I demand respect and admiration from all those in my presence!"
You both burst out laughing at how ridiculous the whole thing sounded. As you continued to laugh, you realized that maybe, just maybe, there was more to Akaza than you initially thought. Maybe, just maybe, he was just like any other guy, with his own quirks. And maybe, just maybe, you were starting to like him.

With the close of chapter two of Candela, I'm wondering if Luis Carazo is the through line on ttrpg media that decides it wants to rewire my brain.
First Calamity, and now this.
What is the saying?
Once is chance, twice is coincidence, three times is a pattern?
Mister Carazo, are you the source of the pattern here????

having more thoughts about Peter, Steven, and Henry working together in that one location, because i can't stop thinking about it (and have two posts about it)
have some headcanons:
so. Henry and Peter already knew each other. i mean, How Could They Not? the thing is that Peter kinda Transed His Gender (transfem bigender) since they last saw each other, and the most she could express it at the time was by growing her hair out, wearing eyeliner, and painting his nails a bit. so y'know. a Lot happened.
Peter also sued Henry, but i'm sure that's nothing to worry about :)
Steven vaguely recognizes Henry, but he can't remember from where. he creeps Steven out, though, so he keeps interactions with Henry at a minimum.
Peter and Steven got along pretty well.
Peter had no issues being passive aggressive with Henry about the Jack stuff. like "How have you been doing these past several years?" "Oh just fine, except for the fact you, idk, Claimed My Brother Was A Murderer :) Because That Was A Thing You Did :)" Steven just stayed out of it. what the fuck was he even supposed to say to most of that?
Peter was like. passively suicidal at this point, as well as struggling heavily with depression. he'd try to joke about it to lighten the mood a bit, but it just worried the fuck out of Steven ("what are you looking for with this job?" "(deadpan) idk but a will to live would be nice. Also Cash")
she had a breakdown about her dead siblings in front of Henry, And I'm Sure That Henry's Definitely Not Gonna Use That Against Him Later Down The Line (eyes the Dsaf 3 Henry Fight nervously)
Peter kept in touch with Jack often during this time. Jack warned him about Henry, about the fact that tragedy followed that man wherever he went. Peter brushed it off at the time. she can take care of herself, after all.
Caroline would often drop Peter off at work since they only had one car at the time
Peter talked about Caroline a lot. she was very much a "world cold and hard, wife soft and warm" type of person. he loves his wife <3
Steven once asked if he was straight or a lesbian, and Peter just answered 'yes.' he doesn't know, and he's too tired to figure it out.
when he discovered Peter was dead, Steven. Did Not Take It Well. he almost instinctively knew that Henry did it, but. he didn't know how he knew. he just went to cry for a while because This Was The First Time (since he died) That He Had Gotten This Close To Someone And Lost Them Like That. It Was A Lot To Process
Caroline also had a hunch it was Henry. and it's part of the reason she didn't want to dig too much deeper into this whole mess than was necessary. Dee died at Henry's diner. Jack died (once) in Henry's diner and also got framed for child murder. and now Peter's missing. there's a saying, after all. "Once is chance, twice is a coincidence, three times is a pattern."
every place that her family has gone, where Henry also happens to be? tragedy has followed them all in some way soon afterwards.
and she'd like her son to grow up with at least one of his parents.
(yes, i am giving Peter a son again. because i can)

Better Homes and Hauntings - Molly Harper
Synopsis
Author of the beloved Half Moon Hollow series of vampire romances (Nice Girls Don’t Have Fangs), Molly Harper has created a standalone paranormal romance in which a dilapidated haunted house could bring star-crossed lovers together—if it doesn’t kill them first!
When Nina Linden is hired to landscape a private island off the New England coast, she sees it as her chance to rebuild her failing business after being cheated by her unscrupulous ex. She never expects that her new client, software mogul Deacon Whitney, would see more in her than just a talented gardener. Deacon has paid top dollar to the crews he’s hired to renovate the desolate Whitney estate—he had to, because the bumps, thumps, and unexplained sightings of ghostly figures in nineteenth-century dress are driving workers away faster than he can say “Boo.”
But Nina shows no signs of being scared away, even as she experiences some unnerving apparitions herself. And as the two of them work closely together to restore the mansion’s faded glory, Deacon realizes that he’s found someone who doesn’t seem to like his fortune more than himself—while Nina may have finally found the one man she can trust with her bruised and battered heart.
But something on the island doesn’t believe in true love…and if Nina and Deacon can’t figure out how to put these angry spirits to rest, their own love doesn’t stand a ghost of a chance.
My Thoughts
This book really ticked all my boxes – paranormal romance, sass, bickering, bantering, a historical mystery, a modern mystery (ish), and ghosts. Sometimes, these all appeared at the same time. Just not all from the same character.
I really loved the multiple POV this book offered. I loved seeing the events transpire from so many different perspectives, and how the house affected everyone differently. But overall, I loved that at the heart of it all, they wanted to try to solve the mystery of who, really, killed Catherine Whitney. (For the sake of ensuring this review is spoiler-free, I’ll say no more on the matter.)
I honestly can’t say whether or not I loved one character over the other, but as a group I loved their dynamic. They were all afraid to admit to each other, and themselves, that there were some very haunted things happening around the house, but once they admitted it out loud, they worked together to find a solution.
There was no secret-keeping, or gaslighting, or trying to sweep it under the rug. There a mildly reluctant acceptance of the events that were occurring, and a team effort to find out why it was happening, and how to stop it. And they really all worked so well together.
The mysteries were by far the threads that weaved these characters together, but they were fairly secondary to the connections being built and the overall goal of renovating the historical mansion to a modern version of it’s former glory. (Did I have to google what the Gilded Age was more than once to try understand? Yes. Yes I did.)
Overall, I really enjoyed this book, and it made me realize that I’ve read a couple of Molly Harper titles before, a while ago, that I also really enjoyed. Once is chance, twice is coincidence, but three times is a pattern. It’s time I explore more of Molly Harper’s universe, and her series in full.

urban legend, newscaster mizunashi rena
see the thing is i feel like the most logical guess is that “luring her interviewees to position for assassination” is not kir’s main job as mizunashi rena. because mizunashi is a public enough figure after all and if her main job and these things happen enough, then surely it’ll quickly become suspicious. why do people interviewed by her sometimes died of bullet wounds from far away. that’ll damage her reputation or at the very least cause some suspicions in some people’s eyes.
(admittedly, you can argue that in this universe people keep seeing mouri family go to places and murders occur there but people don’t suspect them, but even by the pattern of this universe, you generally only get a pass if you’re a detective, and even then, while people don’t suspect you being the murderer, they complain about how you’re always on the scene)
rena is not a detective, she’s just a newscaster. and when a pattern forms, for someone in her position it could be very suspicious. at the very least, maybe she has to try to frame it like she’s a victim and someone was actually after her, trying to ruin her career by making it dangerous for people to be interviewed by her. however, we don’t see any weird stories surrounding mizunashi rena in this universe, to the general public anyway.
it would probably make more sense that the organization ordered her there for mainly other tasks (it’d be one thing if she’s just there temporarily, but it feels like she’s been a public figure for some time and it’s not a short term, in and out job, unless she’s actually posted there for One Big Job that requires infiltration into the news station for months, which is the assassination job we see in canon. it’s a possibility.) but it’s likely her main job is to make sure certain news don’t get aired, or to insert news in organization’s interest for propaganda purposes (the org did have its grip in the deep trenches of japan, socially and economy and all that, so media control may be part of it)
but like. if it indeed her job is to “ensure interviews walk to specific positions so others could assassinate them”, maybe the org didn’t plan for this to be a long term assignment. maybe they have 3 or 4 targets that’s easiest to murder this way. and they decide to do this, and when finally suspicions start rising they’ll pull her out. once is an accident twice is a coincidence, three makes a conspiracy but by then her job is done and this identity deserted.
but also like, maybe she becomes some sort of legend. people get thrilled to have the chance to be interviewed by such an attractive lady that they’re willing to risk death. and she probably interviews other people as well, the ones the org are not interested in, so it’s not like every person she interviewed died. so, chances are probably good, right? and what a way to die also. interviewed by mizunashi rena.
what a way to go.
(they should also stage an interview where she interviews chris vineyard, famed actress, and chris compliments her. and increase the appeal of getting interviewed by someone that’s Chris Vineyard Approved.)

The cat was still on his mind when he made his way over to the loft on Saturday. It was one of those mandatory pack movie nights their illustrious alpha had ordered them to come to in the group chat. Peter was very much aware that, as always, Scott hadn’t meant to include him, would actually prefer him not to come, but Peter was contrary enough to ignore what hadn’t been said. And desperate enough to - metaphorically speaking - wedge himself between the pack members and their alpha to get the time he needed in their immediate vicinity without having to actually be somewhere close in their space.
And of course these kind of meetings had another advantage - two actually. First, he saw a bit more of his nephew, who otherwise still preferred to avoid him. And second, he could see more of a certain boy.
If he was honest to himself - and he tried to be, because he needed to be aware of his own shortcomings, his own weaknesses, to be able to keep himself safe and survive - it was mostly Stiles who made the meetings worthwhile. While Derek had at least stopped throwing him dark looks (and he knew the difference, even if Derek still looked grumpy when they saw each other), Stiles by now actually seemed to enjoy Peter’s company and witty commentary on whatever cinematic monstrosity the pups had chosen. So more often than not they ended up on the same sofa together (of course just because everywhere else was already occupied) and started bickering.
This time, something was different. For one, Stiles had found a place between Lydia and Erica on one of the other sofas. And then there was the fascinating case of Derek, sitting in Stiles’s usual space, staring judgingly at Peter. Oh, that would be fun.
“Hello, dear nephew,” he greeted as he sat down next to Derek, his usual smirk in place, like the part of his armor that it was. “What did you do that got you exiled to my couch?” Derek’s frown deepened and Peter could here the rumbling in his nephew’s chest just shy of a growl. “What I did? What did you do, uncle? It’s not me who was ‘exiled’. Stiles didn’t want to sit here, today.”
Peter didn’t expect the flare of pain in his chest, though he probably should have. After all, he had known how attached he had become to their resident mage. He still was moderately sure, that his face had shown nothing of his pain, thanks to his impeccable control, even though something must have slipped, maybe through his pack bonds, because suddenly Derek’s face showed concern. “Peter, what did you do?”
Instead of answering Peter glanced over to Stiles who stared back, apprehension written all over his face. Then it was gone as Stiles turned to one of the girls, answering a question Peter didn’t care about. “Nothing.” His answer was quiet, his smile feeling wooden, just like the mask it was. “I haven’t done anything, Derek. Not this time.”
He ignored the silent ‘oh’ from his nephew as he got back to his feet and turned towards the kitchen. He still could feel Derek’s eyes on his back as he walked over to the coffee machine to make himself a cup and calm down. Because he needed to stay calm. He needed to keep his emotions in check, to not spill anything more than he already had, while he was inspecting his pack bonds.
If Stiles was mad at him, he should have known. He should have been able to tell. He knew he was by no means a saint, but this time he was punished for something he hadn’t done as far as he was aware.
But what hurt the most was Stiles's silence. If Stiles would want him to fix this, he wouldn't stay silent. If Stiles would want to give him another chance, he would know already. Wouldn't he?
He paused when he found Stiles's pack bond easily between the rest of the pack. It was still the strongest bond he had, even stronger than before. And what he could feel from it wasn't anger or hurt or apprehension. Quite the contrary. There was a warmth and affection that surprised him. Embarrassment. Insecurity. Concern.
He had no idea what was going on with Stiles, but it wasn't him that was the problem. He hadn't hurt Stiles.
He hadn't hurt Stiles.
He laughed, short, full of relief. He couldn't help it, even if he could clearly feel the confusion and skepticism of his nephew at his back. It didn't matter anymore. He took his cup of coffee from the machine and sauntered back to his place next to Derek. Whatever Stiles’s problem was, he would give him a few days to sort it out himself before getting involved. He really didn't like getting hurt like that. But he would give Stiles the chance to apologize.
Peter sipped at his coffee, hiding his grin behind it and ignoring Derek staring at him with furrowed eyebrows from right next to him. So, what should he choose to make Stiles grovel? Choices, choices.
