At first I wanted a Dottore and reader art piece as a book cover but soon scrapped that idea as my “artistic skills” or drawing isn’t skilling rn. So I approached the idea of the book like a diary that inspired by the Genshin book in-game. I took most inspiration from the Aranyaka.

Ryōshū used to be my least favorite of the sinners because I was put off by how sadistic she was but then the part in Canto II happened where she appeased the tieqiu crew with a description so gory we didn’t get to hear it and somehow that completely changed my opinion on her.
