Contributor Applications Are Open!!

The Link to Sign up is HERE Please feel free to sign up, or even just take a look at what we are hoping for! If you wish to contribute for multiple things, just submit multiple applications! Also, please feel free to reblog and share the zine! We would love to spread the word more thoroughly than simply having us reblog and become annoying hahaa!

To give a brief overview of what we are looking for -

We are looking for writers who are able to write a one-shot with a Word Min / Max of 1.5k to 3.5k in a three month time span. Any questions for writing, feel free to send our way; either through an ask, a dm, or on the application!

We are looking for Artists who are willing and or able to create a piece fitting an A5 paper (image attached for reference below), and needs to be CMYK and 300 DPI minimum.

2 page comics are allowed, though we will not be accepting many, one page comics are completely okay and we don't have a limit, as all artists are having one page.

We are also looking for any artists who would like to create art for physical and / or digital Merch! Details on *that* will be discussed with anyone who applies and is accepted, as there is an array of options that are available

Everyone who applies, regardless of whether they get in, will receive an email with their results no later than June 7th.

Is this your first time applying for a zine? Want some extra info before you apply? Look no further!

How will this zine work?

Folks who are interested in contributing—that is, creating a piece of art or writing to be included in either the zine or merch bundle—will fill out the application(s). The mod team will review the applications and select contributors. All applicants will receive an email as to whether they were accepted or denied.

Will I need to submit a portfolio?

Yes! Mods will be assessing applicants based on their portfolios. As a general rule of thumb, mods will want to see 5+ pieces in art portfolios, and 3+ pieces in writing portfolios. See our carrd for more detailed instructions, and a link to example portfolios!

Can I apply as a writer and an artist?

Yes! Though you may not be accepted for both positions.

Do my portfolio pieces need to be of Captain Marvel or Billy?

Nope, but it is definitely preferred! Mods will be judging art and writing based on the skills it took to create them, not how long you have been a fan.

Will contributors get anything once they have been accepted?

We cannot make any promises, but we would like to give contributors free merch and zine bundles (funds permitting)! If not feasible, then we would like to give contributors either free merch or free physical zines (funds permitting). If not feasible, we would like to provide zines and/or merch to contributors at cost to produce.

Imagine Silver surviving Iblis’ reign, or a zombie apocalypse, or even a perpetual ice age… In a future so ruined to the point it could not recover, what would Silver's life look like?

Looking back to what once was

Remember what time periods Silver has traveled to in order to fix the future. From Sonic’s present to far far in the past… How did Silver's travels affect his friends and himself? Do they even remember it happening at all?

Rebuilding

Building a new world from what is left

Even a time traveler can’t prevent every disaster, but that wouldn’t stop Silver from trying to do good in the world with what he got! After all his efforts to save these futures, in what way can Silver move on and help rebuild the world?
