Liam's appearance at Louis' gig is damage control for Maya Henry's interview with People stating that he gave her an ultimatum: have an abortion or I'll end our relationship. He didn't even drive her to hospital when she had complications after it.

We can't know, of course anon, but this explanation was not what I was thinking and I find it hard to endorse such a fan centered view of the world.

I don't really see how this works as 'damage control'. A small number of people going 'awwwww' isn't really what public images are built on.

I got another anon a while back wondering what had happened with Liam's music - and mentioning he'd been off socials for a month. It's always seemed to me that Liam's mental health and addiction crises were quite cyclical - and I think that things have probably been getting worse and then will have been significantly exacerbated by the knowledge that people were going to know some of the terrible things that he had done (and just to be clear Maya Henry has every right to tell her story however she wants).

I could be wrong - but to me this read as Louis offering Liam what he could - and suggests things are quite bad.

#I guess it's not impossible that someone in Liam's team #like basically Liam's Dad #or Liam #might think that appearing with Louis will do damage control #but I don't think it will #or it's an idea that many people would take seriously

woke up with the urge to play Mass Effect: Andromeda today bc i’ve never actually beaten it (i got to a certain point and my game kept crashing so i just gave up lol)

I finished my rewatch/relisten of the Vox Machina campaign in mid-December (although I recently re-embarked on the second half of the Chroma Conclave arc hoping season 3 of TLVOM will be announced (released?? 🤞) by the time I reach "A Bard's Lament"). Predictably, I bawled, AGAIN, but by then I'd already been scribbling and sketching ideas for this for... a couple of weeks? Hence the little WIP preview last month.

I'll never shut up about this moment. It's just as beautiful as it's heartbreaking, in- and off-game, especially taking into account all the context of characters/people involved.

Also, bonus, because after I finished sketching that 6th frame I thought a hug was needed.
