A kinder mother would sure seek her sons, even if it was her who abandoned them.
(Just a Thought of Marika in ragged clothes and covered in veil, unfortunately didn’t hide her grace, descending down to the shunning ground she made to cage her rage and grief from the time long past, just to see her sons who she refused to hold and look at their births. SADLY THAT’S NOT WHAT HAPPENED AHUGHGAHHHHH)

So happy to finally show off my final piece for the Tome of Pacts zine I feature in.
This is Hagne, the Herald of Rot, and faithful servant to her Patron, Cicardia. Her look was inspired by several things -- death masks, pomegranates, worn bronze, flies and centipedes. The butterflies she carries feed on death and decay. Hagne herself felt the cold embrace of the grave, but was blessed to find herself given another chance. She will not fail.
I am so honored to have been a part of this project, and this is one of my favorite pieces to date. I hope you guys enjoy it as well. :)

(...) but amongst the pastiche of war and desire, beauty and damage, I saw Claudia, in an impossible afternoon light she could never survive in. Claudia as Madeleine perceived her. Resplendent. rendered even more beautiful by her beholder. And I knew then, with all certainity, she would be a better companion to Claudia than I ever had.

Reading comics is constantly like "Here is one of the most fascinating concepts you've ever seen in a piece of media. No we will not elaborate on it and you will never see it reach its full potential. Here is an interesting, new character. Oh now they're dead/rewritten to be less interesting/trapped in a different version of earth to be only mentioned off hand and never seen again. Here is your favorite legacy character: they're currently being written by a misogynist." And then once in a blue moon there's a comic that blows your tits clean off it's executed so well. But it's a limited run.

Unused crib.
I swear I am very normal about this. AU where Marika once cares but it's not enough and her priority lies elsewhere. Here's the inspiration I wrote in company time because my ass was not working.
She looked at her children and thought despite everything how could I still love you. Why was there a place in her numb heart for these two when they resembled everything she hated. She threw them into the pit below and tried not think about it. But how could she? When she looked at the empty space where the crib used to be and thought how can I forget them
(There's the second pic as a treat because ?? They don't exist? Marika has never had a twin with Godfrey? Godwyn is an only child? There might be a locked room in the Sanctuary where servants are not allowed to peak inside, the key is hidden and the room forgotten. But that's normal, isn't it? Every palace has a storage of abandoned things all the time. So what are you talking about? haha I am obviously NOT crying.)

MORE UNHINGED FP3 SKY COMMENTARY
Crofty *joking*: I wouldn't be surprised if there was an option to sell Alpine.
Nico: I have an email in my inbox with an option to buy part of Alpine.
Karun:
Crofty:
Karun: Nico you can't just lob that fact into the middle of FP3-

☕ I'm doing it again because you put more work into my random reverse vampirism bit than I thought you would.
Give me thoughts on what a fun villain version of yourself would be like (feel free to give them superpowers or otherwise)
ooh this is fun. ok i'm thinking like, evil scientist mixed with witch? like their potions and alchemy are all just chemistry, but also they do cast spells with a wand. ooh and their wand is like a test tube! or a syringe. you remember those old-ass gates from the fence question? yeah those are all around my lair. it's a castle on a hill, somehow there's always a thunderstorm circling directly above it, you know the deal. im realizing this is less of a traditional supervillain and more like "what if victor frankenstein had magic" but you shouldn't ask me open ended questions if you dont want a longass barely relevant answer. anyway now im gonna try to figure out a name for this guy.
ideas:
-the witch doctor (pretty sure that's taken)
-my alchemical necromancer (not really a name for a person but it's fun)
at this point i started going through fantasy name generators, as i so often do. but i realized that this character's name needs to be completely original. i cant just steal a sick name i find online.
something combining plants with science is the direction im leaning towards. an alchemist and a druid. shit im doing slightly more fucked up poison ivy. ok less of the science/plants angle and more of the potions/tonics/chemicals. to the wikipedia. wait what am i searching. something that's a pun on a scientific name but not just like, Cy Anide or whatever. i sure hope looking at the wikipedia page for poison doesn't put me on a list. "Poison is something that causes harm." thanks wikipedia.
-colonel mustard gas (that's really stupid)
-belladonna could be something
ok im gonna try looking at elements. there's gotta be something in there.
i like cadmium. i could do something there.
belladonna has to have been used for something like this, right? too bad, i've been thinking about this for way too long and im getting bored.
name: Dr. Bella Donna, aka The Witch Doctor
gender: lil scamp
color scheme: purple/green/black
alignment: chaotic chaos
should i delete all of my ramblings: definitely. but im not going to
