Honestly what with him being stuck in one unaging, unchanging state with his only remaining connection to his former self being this vague notion that he must fight and protect and sacrifice with no regard for his own well-being - there really is something of The Ghost Knight in Mytho.

Okay headcannon time: Just Like Ribbons, Aimilios has his own nightmares; mainly about losing everyone he loves again. And he never really confided in anyone about how bad they were, not even his own partner; not until Dusknoir came back that is.

He doesn’t want to worry the others; let alone talk about his bad dreams. So he goes to Dusknoir, knowing he won’t pry.

Aimilios wordlessly asks if he can sleep with him some nights. Dusknoir agrees; holding the Riolu close to him as he slowly drifts to sleep in the comfort in Dusknoir’s arms.

the thing is that the concept of nofap and/or edging is actually pretty thematically relevant to the all the stuff going on with narrative catharsis and the denial thereof in homestuck and especially the epilogues (consider how dirk is deliberately pushing further conflict such as to create tension and deny "happy endings", vs the candy timeline where everyone fucks and has kids) so not only am i 100% correct i am correct in a way that i think can sincerely improve one's reading of homestuck. thank you

i like crowpool as a narrative setpiece (less because of what it is and more because of what it sets up) and there's no issue if you are a fan, but i'm honestly confused by HOW many people are genuinely actively invested in it as a romance or make aus where it went well, because out of all the bland forbidden romances in warriors i think that is the one where they have the leeeast chemistry? and where the utter failure of it is the most interesting part?

#i dont DESPISEEE crowfeather (at least not as much as some of yous do) but i cannot picture that man in a healthy long term relationship #and my ire towards him grows each day #i was saying this on twt a while back but im personally a fan of the hc/interpretation that neither of those guys actually 'loved' eachothe #with leaf projecting her need to escape from the imprisonment of medcathood onto crow (and maybe comphet)#and crow projecting his lost love from feathertail he wants to feel again onto leaf rather than truly seeing her as a new person #but it's obviously the biggest landmark in terms of leafpool's character arc and like a dozen other characters by extension #and i think it loses most of the drama when just viewed as the nice ideallic romance that tnp leafpool and crowfeather did view it as

Do you guys ever think about the fact that ferryman is bigger than GABRIEL in this album cover art and the more well known a person is the bigger their husk is? It literally turns me insane like what did Ferryman do in life to be so well renowned? What did they do to get damned? What did they do that was good enough to be seen as a worthy candidate to work alongside heaven and transport sinners instead of being punished? There's so many small and interesting bits implied just by what little we see of Ferryman

#its very very interesting to me that multiple people had committed enough sin to be damned and yet were chosen to work alongside heaven #rather than be punished. theres multiple ferryman and theyre known to fight eachother for their ships and holy cloths if a new one forms #so theyve been around for a while and new ones are always showing up. and theyre all relatively the same size and thus just as well known #minos was also sent to hell and became a husk but was chosen to work as a judge and not be punished #its a very interesting intersection. to me.

#Oouugh i have thoughts abt the hollowhead siblings. How theyre so intricately tied to eachother since their birth but they'd be #Eachother'd downfall. Esp when it's Dark and his relationship with the others #Dark would never understand what chosen went through. Mainly bc i think chosen is used to fighting his internal battles on his own #While he was in captive as an ad blocker. He loves Dark. He's grateful for Dark bc without him he wouldn't be free #But Dark isnt exactly someone reliable enough for Chosen to get the necessary healing he wants and needs #But that won't stop Dark from trying to fix him. Creates the virus for revenge. As chosen watches his brother spiral and spiral #As he watches him drift further away. Unable to get him back without a shouting match. As he watches with his heart heavy and cracked at-#Their stiffed interactions and strained relationship. He can't remember a time where they shared geniune laughs.#Then tsc coming came and changed everything.#Because this is someone who went through Chosen's pain albeit a lil differently. Someone who knows. Someone who /understands/. And this-#Someone is so much more younger than them and had to go through that pain in such a short amount of time since their birth #He sees himself in them. And he's rather walk up to alan demanding to get his hands cuffed than let tsc fester in that pain.#So tsc became chosen's priority. Healed eachother in many ways than one and are at echother's beck and call if need be.#As for Dark. I think he'd manipulate tsc into using him for his revenge. After stalking out his code and finding out about his potential #And TSC cant help but fall for his manipulations. Since this person is very very important to Chosen and they want so badly to impress-#Them both. They agreed and overtime grew to love eachother. And overtime Dark shifted his goals just a tad bit. So in your ghost in the machine au, how well do they all get along?

Ooooh well. That's a tough one, some of them get on quite nicely, other ones fight like cats in a barrel.

For instance, Sol and Misuta have a very fraught relationship where they do their absolute best to piss each other off at every opportunity. Sunspot tries to get along with everyone but struggles with being so different to the others.

Fool takes every possible opportunity to wind people up, but gets on very well with most regardless. Him and Misuta are pretty buddy buddy as the only theater bots!

I think it can be hard to get along with people who remind you so much of yourself, sometimes :)
