REAL!! he’s such a hypocrite because if someone mentioned you had a work husband, his entire world would stop and he wold devise the absolute worst plans to make sure that your co-worker, everyone at your job, and everyone in the next building over knew that he was happily committed to you 

but if he is the work husband, he’s very........ dutiful in his role. there’s a loose office/lawyer au in my head where satoru is your secretary, and for all intents and purposes, your personal assistant, and he’s good at his job, but mostly because he considers his job to be pleasing you. he has coffee for you when you arrive, he moves your schedule around without you asking, he has answers to questions before you can even ask them, he has fresh flowers on your desk weekly, pokes into your meetings to pretend to hand you a file that’s really just maybe a single document in a manilla folder with candy on top of it—he’s made himself your business, your partner; he’s made himself irreplaceable, and he loves to remind everybody of that fact. 

he’s also extremely loyal. sure, he could day a week’s worth of work done in about a day, but that doesn’t mean he’ll just use his talents for anybody. he’s your secretary, so he’s at your beck and call, and everyone knows it. they know he’s the best, but also that he’s off limits—not because you won’t share him, but because satoru won’t let himself be shared. 

he also extends his duties beyond work, of course. when he hands you a print out of your schedule for the day and you’re confused by the three-hour block of time you have in the middle of the day, satoru just helps you shrug your coat of your shoulders and smiles, “that’s for the lunch date you have with me, of course!” hanging up your coat in your closet for you, “i’m paying, see you soon, sweets.” and because you’re great at your job, and satoru helps you be great, nobody really questions when the two of you have time for a 13-course tasting menu at 1pm on a tuesday afternoon. and if they did, all satoru would say that you two had a lovely date

I was seeing the comic of Emmets self destructing behavior even after he and Ingo reunited and wow… that implication it’s not the first time…

How many times must have this happened? How many times until Ingo knew snapping him out by a gentle hand on his shoulder? What bad habits did Emmet develop while being on his own? With "Ingo" encouraging him to be more healthy? Just so deliciously dark! I love it?

On the other hand how much strain Ingo's body going through when he has his moments he sees "the man in white" his body switches to "life-or-death-mode" receiving a little bruise could cause him to fall into full panic mode and try to treat it like a lethal wound if not for Emmet snapping him out of it and calming him down again.

While both have their moments of seeing their subconscious guardian angel both react differently.

Emmet is apathetic towards "Ingo" dismissing him since he’s not even there. He reacts mentally.

Ingo’s whole body could react to small bruises and injuries like they could kill him and depending on his support to get through it. He reacts with his whole body.

Also when Ingo’s aware he’s probably insecure about all the scars he’s got on him now. How many times he almost died… he doesn’t want the real Emmet to know. It’s bad enough that "the man in white knows"…

YES YES!!! This analysis is so perfect!!! If you'd allow me to ramble a bit...

Emmet's self destructive tendencies have been going on for a while since Ingo's disappearance. He has his Elesa and his depot agents to support him/remind him to not truly forget about himself (Elesa trying to take more time off from her job to check on Emmet/invite him out to lunch to make sure he eats, the veteran depot agents frequently checking up on him during the day/encouraging him take more breaks/interrupting his smoke breaks "accidentally", ect) but it's been hard to say the least. It will take some time for these habits to truly go away even with Ingo back, especially on his bad days.

BUT ALSO YEAH! Ingo! If Emmet appears at the corner of his eye suddenly or he sees him from a distance (any sort of blurred visage - as the man in white always appeared as) he might have a knee jerk response - a sudden urge to run or seek safety - but ultimately it won't be too serious.

His body reacts the most drastically when he is already in a state of injury and Emmet is within eyesight. Elevated heart rate, shortness of breathe, blurred vision, body tremors: his adrenaline levels will spike to an unnatural level causing a ton of stress on the body, since his mind is basically telling his body that he's on the brink of death. The quickest way to calm him down if it were to get this bad would be to have Emmet out of his sight until he can calm down...Not very ideal when the source of one's panic works the same job as you, in a work environment where slight injuries aren't too uncommon

#people vale would actually and fr be jealous of if they tried 2 fuck marc: any alien. fabio. dovi. <--- the scenes when casey first becomes honda's test rider... marc gushes about caseys data and vale immediately locks him in for a ranch visit, grimace-smiling nodding his head as if listening intently when in reality he would rather stab himself than listen to marc talk about casey fucking stoner (why did it have to be HIM??). tucking marc under him at every shared podium, sitting extra close during press cons, and marcs just :D the happiest he's been because he's winning every race and vale keeps pulling him into dark corners and marking him with giant hickeys

it really is like an omegaverse ass situation. new alpha on the block who is actually the enemy of the old alpha on the block who is unfortunately getting Honda PR bonded to the love of vale’s life while vale is ignoring his feelings the ENTIRE time. body/hormones say. you are in love with marc. press him into the notch of your body and make him smell like you. higher brain translates this to. casey stoner i hate you so fucking bad. die.

and marc in tha middle thriving on older male mentor attention the entire time like :D livin the dream, while casey is just kind of distantly aware of everything that’s happening and choosing not to engage. if valentino hates me who cares that’s literally valentino’s problem. i have other things to deal with. smash cut to: vale dragging marc into some fucking dark corner just to drag his teeth over his neck and make sure everybody knows marc is his 4ever and ever. but you know. casually.

today on 'shook does things she has no reason to, but wants to anyways':

learning how to do ZUN art!!!!!

now i've actually wanted to do this for a while, but just decided to now on a complete whim because i'm just Like That.

i do wanna go through my process a bit, but first i'll just. give the art bc i know that's why most people are here cjhvbcjuv-

there she is!!! the funny highlighter!!! idk why i chose her of all ocs but i certainly did!!!

ok so process time: i mainly referenced a few of touhou 18's portraits, specifically reimu, mike and misumaru. using these, i made a base sketch of reimu's pose, which i then took and made into a sketch of ayeno that tried to stick as close as possible to ZUN's artstyle (see sketches below). then, i took that sketch and made another but changed some things to fit more in-line with my own art style (specifically the eyes [which i ended up changing back], arms and legs, eyebrows, and some of the clothing details).

the main thing i struggled with though was DEFINITELY the shading. like, i don't really shade my art at all ever...? because it's just. very time consuming. and looks bad half the time. and uhh i gave up halfway through on this because i just couldn't anymore B]

so yeah rip the clothes shading but hey! i'm still really happy with the result, and totally want to do this with more of my touhou ocs in the future :] (just... not now. it's been like 5 days lmao i need a break-)
