So yes I have OF COURSE read @naffeclipse new fic Apex Polarity and yes, I AM OBSESSED!

So I decided to make a little comic of how I think their "first encounter" might have looked like from Eclipse's perspective.

I can't help but think about how alien and scary we most look to him (especially if there is a history of fasco hunting polar sirens in the past). With all that gear we look like emotionless beings, just observing and uncaring of this ice world. But then when y/n shows up and probably exudes this joy and wonder for his world + shows respect for the creatures and the environment??? Mmh yeah, I can see Eclipse falling for y/n, especially considering how alone he might be...

When Secondary BL Couples Overshadow the Main (2024)

Last year, I found myself especially grateful for multi-couple dramas because sometimes the main pairing falls flat. These secondary couples kept me going though:

Knock, Knock Boys: Peak and Thanwa may have been the main event with their love triangle and family issues, but the fandom spent every week waiting to see the progression of Latte and Almond's slow burn friends-to-lover's plot. Between Latte being both a sexually-liberated pansexual and an emotionally mature sweetheart, it was hard not to be just as charmed as Almond.

Sunset x Vibes: Not saying MosBank don't know how to bring the heat, but not a single soul saw Sam's chest reveal coming -- least of all Yotha. It was honestly hard to focus after that.

This Love Doesn’t Have Long Beans: Truly could not care less about goofy ass Plawan trying to seduce Chef Oab with his budget Gordon Ramsay impression. I tuned in every week to see how Methas would pull his injured foot out of his mouth long enough to say something to JJ that would make him look past his spoiled rich kid act and see the needy golden retriever that he really was.

Jazz for Two: I'll be the first to admit that Jo Ha was toxico and Do Yun deserved better, but at least their storyline had conflict and depth. Se Heon and Tae were fighting demons that weren't even there's.

First Note of Love: Neil and Sea were supes cute and I loved the music they made together, but the chemistry between Orca and Reese was the main event. Forget musical partners falling in love. I want to see the story of a shy manager falling for his extroverted artist. And by that I mean the rest of it. We were robbed.

where Foul Legacy's orca features are fierce and bold, black on white and twice as deadly, you're all serene elegance, a ray gliding through the open sea. that's not to say you can't defend yourself. the claws on your hands and fangs in your mouth can account for that- but you are generally calmer, more peaceful, prone to admiring the light casting shadows through the water. Legacy learns from you, a hidden spark that was buried in his chest coaxed forth by your gentle, playful demeanor. he'll spend hours just curled up under your fins, watching fish and jellies and crabs drift and skuttle by with fascination. occasionally he trills and nuzzles closer, tucking the wings of your tail tighter over his body as he cheekily nibbles a stray scale here and there, and you simply lower your head to bury your face in his silky hair, floating through the gentle current

Legacy brings you things- plants, pearls, bits and bobs he found on the ocean floor. creatures he's hunted, to prove how excellent and strong he is. he simply adores seeing the way your markings glow in delight, decorating the sweet little cavern you've made into your home with whatever he brings. whether it be chains of gold or old bones, your frills flick happily as you swim around, Legacy curled up and watching you with glee. it makes the cavern a little bit more comfortable, a bit of you sprinkled in every crack and crevice. it's your presence, though, that makes it really home. Legacy swims over, gently curling his lovely tail around you with a bubbling croon and untangling your trailing fins

you've worked enough today. it's time to rest and relax
