Each illustration was born out of art meditation simply by going along with the flow. The illustrations are accompanied by a page you can write whatever your heart desires, with the title of each artwork at the top to inspire your own magical nonsense!

as a kid i thought i would graduate from kid problems like cleaning my room to adult problems like jobs and taxes. but instead i have a job and taxes and still have to clean my room. cleaning my room is a lifetime problem. i will never stop having to put my markers away before bedtime. this is a rude way for aging to work.

#mine #origami #trout #fish #original model is by Fukuroi Kazuki #you can find the diagram in the origami tanteidan 26th edition book #which is on z-library bc z-lib is back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#cheer and clap everyone #i wouldn't necessarily rec folding this one bc the head is entirely asymetrical - the mouth is only visible on one side #but you know fun trout model and the tanteidan diagrams are always so well done so do you what you'd like #don't do like me and use wenzhou paper that you've made go through the ringer though lol #it'd benefit from smth a bit more solid and there's nothing complex enough to necessitate a paper than thin #had a lot of fun with the colors though i think that green is delightful

But I drew this guy Once and that was it #I went ‘yeah that’s my boy. that works’#i mostly went with what i envisioned though i did check the first chapter again to see if it said anything contradicting my design #and it did say Aaron had short hair but you know what? I really want him to have a little ponytail #I think he deserves a little ponytail #so i kept the ponytail #i was originally going to draw him with his silly little coat and add a heck ton of details #but the pose didn’t work out #There’s always next time!#with his current clothes his sash i guess is the most important part?#in the first chapter it talks about Aaron’s knife had been clad in black&gold previously #I assume in reference to the Man #Though I might be wrong #i binge-read the book in like three days #the details have escaped me #but yeah I did the sash with those colors because I thought it’d be cool #anyways i believe that’s most of it #i also have a bunch of doodles i made for warmup before this #that i’m also going to share at some point #i hope you like it!

and another one! Thank you to @pixlokita for letting me use this wonderful lineart to color! Hot Topic Glamrock Bonnie made me laugh harder than it should have. I couldn’t pick one version, so here’s my favorites!

I know glamrock bonnie is a much lighter/greener blue, i just darkened it to make him ✨more emo✨but I didn’t like the weird dark cyan that made so I moved it over into the pure blue a bit more.

#I just thought the claw marks were neat #also fun fact: the dark blue of the hoodie and hair was color picked from the original lineart #and the red of everything but the claw marks was color picked from the eyes #I also noticed that a lot of the fnaf coloring books I’ve seen have a bunch of crosshatching shading #So I wanted to try something with that #and yes the stars in the hoodie are a reference to glamrock freddie #because I like to think that he calls bonnie superstar sometimes when he’s being sappy.#Thanks Pix!#This was a delight to color!

My Entry for the Folio Book Illustration Award this year, illustrating Neil Gaiman's story "The Truth Is a Cave in the Black Mountains..."

I pictured the moment when "the thing" in the cave showed the protagonist the blade that he would use to avenge his daughter soon. "The thing" used the appearance of his daughter when she was found died, being tied to a thorn tree with her hair.

I've put close-ups and a thorough process under the cut.From color sketch to the finish.
