"Well aren't you a little one, the ears say Elf but the height says Hobbit" Boromir teases You as he ruffles Your hair with a grin. You knew Boromir, his visits were anything but consistent. Lindir would have to remind You to bow to the Prince of Gondor "Where's your father?" He lowers himself to Your tiny stature, now eye level with the Prince of Gondor You giggled "Where is he (Y/n)?" Boromir asks again "I'll never tell you" "Ahhh I see, well okay then" he lowers his head and starts to fake cry "No, No, Boromir don't do that!" You whine pushing his head up but his hair covers his face "Don't cry, don't cry" You say quickly before hugging his arm tightly "Thanks for the hug" Boromir picks You up and You crawl Your way to his shoulders "Will I be this tall one day?" "Taller than me? Bah" Boromir was making sure the coast was clear before continuing to walk out of Rivendell with You comfortably on his shoulders.

"So...do you have a nice Princess back in Gondor?" You ask tugging on the left side of Boromir's hair making him turn "Ah haha..." "Or does your stinky guard follow you too much" That one sentence made Boromir go silent quickly "Oooo! You like him!" You snicker feeling Boromir shift "So are you going to grow your hair as long as your Father's?" He changed the subject "Yes! Because I'm going to be wise just like him or even more wise!" You grin and then heard an all too familiar sentence "What are you two doing?" It was your father at this moment You were practically eye level with him and that scared, Your father had never yelled at You but You were not ready to break that streak "LordElrond" Boromir blurt out, his sentence blended as he put You down and as if Boromir had you against Your will, You bolted to Elrond's side wrapping your arms around his arm as You did a small smile appeared for a few seconds but once he looked back at Boromir it was gone...

"You know better than to take him out here without guards" Elrond's voice was firm but calm "I know but, I just" Boromir couldn't seem to make a full sentence "I tell you every time you visit, do not take (Y/n) past the gates he isn't old enough yet and you still do not listen" Elrond put his free hand in his hip "Boromir, I trusted you with something very dear to me and once again...you failed...again" it hurt Your father to say these words to Boromir as words are so powerful they can become wounds "I'm sorry Lord Elrond" Boromir lowers his head "Wayland and I will leave next morning" he murmurs sniffling a little "No!" You tugged at Your father's arm "That's not fair! He didn't do anything wrong! He's my brother!" Your words made Elrond look You dead in the eyes and kneel to Your height "(Y/n)...I know it's difficult but if he can't follow the rules I lay out he has to go home" his tone was softer with You but still firm "He'll come to visit once again you will see him again, right" Elrond's head snapped to Boromir, who looked up quick and nodded even quicker "See" "But...I...but" "There's no buts (Y/n)" Elrond looks back at You "He'll be back before you know it" "Promise" "(Y/n)..." "Lindir says a promise isn't a promise unless you say it out loud" You whisper looking down "I promise that Boromir, Son of Denethor can come back and with supervision watch over you while I have my meetings" Elrond smiles "Now go back inside" he stood up and You ran back in as Boromir now stood next to Elrond

"No one got hurt" "That's not the point" Elrond normally man of little violence in his old age smacked the back of Boromir's head "Ow, What was that for?" "You'll understand when you have a child"

I think we all need to conjure the image of Merlin sitting on Arthur's lap whenever a princess/noblewomen comes along to woo Arthur. The mighty warrior, killer of bandit losers, sword twirly hand gesture guy, Crown Prince of Camelot just straight up panics and his natural reaction is to pull Merlin onto his lap and say he's gay for his manservant or throws Merlin over his shoulder and runs away, far away from the beautiful women.

My boi Merlin however wonders why Arthur doesn't just court someone already and stop trying to get him in trouble with Uther or his Uncle Gaius who keeps his fluffy caterpillar eyebrow in constant doom mode; Merlin is not in the mood to deal Arthur's romantic inability nonsense and people thinking he and Arthur are together when they're obviously not.

Seriously they're not together...they both protest loudly as Arthur holds a pantless manservant wearing a loose and very familiar red tunic whilst the prince himself is shirtless and the laces on his breeches are untied.

Definitely not fucking together.

Another day, another thought, I guess this is my life now.

So last night I was reading this article in which Matthew talks about making the film and the staging of the Paris sex scene. And it struck me how much work and attention to detail was given to this moment:

Which yes, others have talked about what is placed around the room but I'd like to present exhibits B and C:

The other times we see them in bed together, Alex is on Henry's right. Protocol or his good side? (Both?) Because that's your place when you're with a Royal.

But in Paris they're the other way around. Henry is on Alex's right. That's his place. That's where he belongs. In this moment he's not Prince Henry, he's Henry Fox. He's just this guy who is in love with this other guy.

At the DNC hotel they're mired in politics. In Kensington Palace they're in the monarchy. But in Paris? They're just them. Not so much Firstprince as... some other pormanteau. Helex? Alry? Anyway. They're them in Paris and it's as close to neutral ground as they can get and I find it interesting that Henry is on Alex's right when every other instance in his life he has people on his right. He never gets to be the person on the right. He never gets to defer to someone who isn't in some line of succession.

But with Alex? He does. He defers to him (and no this is not a comment about sexual positions) and he isn't pushed into the circumstance and rules of a situation he was born into without any choice or say in the matter. He can just be himself without the need to maintain an image or a sense of duty or adhere to some archiac institution. He's on someone's right.

(He's also put Alex on his non-good side. He's showing that part of himself to this man because he loves and he trusts him and he knows he is safe to do so. That's something else I'm feral over.)

And given how much attention was paid to the staging of Paris you will not be able to convince me that this wasn't deliberate. Matthew López himself could come into my Tumblr inbox and deny it and I wouldn't believe him.

who’s the cuddler: Definitely Chandler. He make have the whole "sarcastic mask" but deep down he's a cuddler. Especially since he had an unconventional childhood.

who makes the bed: Monica obviously. I don't see Chandler caring that much, unless he's planning a romantic surprise for Monica.

who wakes up first: Idk but I'm leaning towards Monica. She just seems like an early bird to me.

who has the weird taste in music: Probably Chandler, tho I do see him having a mix of "basic" and "weird" music. I could see him listening to Cotto Eyed Joe, just like Nick Miller.

who is more protective: Chandler but Monica can be just as protective.

who sings in the shower: Chandler

who cries during movies: Both but Chandler wold never admit it. Ik that the only time he cried was with Roschel in canon, but i can sometimes see him crying when it comes to love stories.

who spends the most while out shopping: Monica, but whenever Chandler comes along, he'll probably want to buy the most stuff or he'll just not care that much (it's 50/50)

who kisses more roughly: Monica if she ever gets jealous

who is more dominate: Both are equally in control.
