tbh don't even want the eclipse rn take it back (for context I currently live around/in central Ohio) there are so many out of state people driving around causing so much backed up traffic and the very beginning of the eclipse doesn't start for another 2 ish hours (1:55pm) supposedly the peak coverage is around like 3:10-3:15pm
my drive home from my classes today took an extra 15 mins bc the highway was just stopped bc certain people wanted to merge into already super backed up lanes and ugh. I generally don't like driving anyhow, but this kind of disruption certainly wasn't helping.

Oh yeah ANOTHER thing?
It's now canon that Vlad (and by extension probably Danny too) can survive THE VACUUM OF SPACE with no food, water, or air for at least several months if not over a year??
Like yeah we saw him out by Saturn at the end of Phantom Planet but I think a lot of us figured he'd probably die out there (including the characters in the story apparently LOL brutal). But here we have confirmation that (half-)ghosts can pretty much keep going indefinitely on stubbornness alone. Like holy shit, dude. I don't know whether that's awesome or super dark.

...I had a wild conversation the other day that I was thinking about intently during today's road trip, thus:
(by "Can Drive" I mean knowing what to DO, not whether or not you're a GOOD driver)
reblog for reach etc

I'm so fucking tired.
Yesterday:
*left for work early (I already leave before 6am) so I could do Important Emails before setting up for our big staff Halloween event
*had my typical long commute
*did the Important Emails
*did event set up
*participated in the event (lots of fun, but also lots of people & my regular workday is usually just me & maybe one other person in my shared office + a small meeting)
*helped with event take down
*left work early with a few others that have long commutes to try to avoid the snow storm
*someone promptly drove into my car before I made it to the interstate 😭 (ironically, it wasn't snowing at that point)
*had the typical exchange of info dance while other cars squeezed around us (thank you to the random passerby that made it clear he saw that the other guy was at fault & got the guy that hit my car to chill out)
*called my insurance
*drove home through the snow 🙃
*made it home just in time for F to use my phone's hotspot for her important video conference (my phone has better service)
*set up for trick-or-treaters (we actually had some come by! I haven't lived in a place where kids trick-or-treat since... 2006 or so? Give or take a few years)
*went off to dog training class (leaving my phone with F for wifi)
*got locked out of the house because the screen door broke
*broke into my house (so as to not disturb F)
I don't think there's enough caffeine in the world to get me to do anything more brain-intensive than sorting emails today.
